Seventh Floor Corridor

The corridor just off the Grand Staircase leads to the Room of Requirement (should you know where it is); the Divination Tower; the Astronomy tower; the Gryffindor Common Room; and the Ravenclaw Common Room.

It has large windows that offer sweeping views of the Quad outside. If you'll look close enough at one of the windowsills, you'll note a little 80-year-old etching that says RIP FW.

Zahra's new DIGGING boots were kind of epic under her school appointed skirt. She knew Bellaire would birth live chickens or something if SHE saw them, but her brother had sent her these boots for DIGGING and she was GOING to wear them.

Her brother had also sent her a book and it was too big to read, let alone keep, which brought Zahra to the Nerd End of the Seventh Floor. The Ravenclaws lived here and Zahra needed to see the nerdiest of them all. PLUS, CryGaby had like...... died or something at the Feast, so Zahra wanted to see the CryGaby.

She sat on the floor, tapped her boots together and let the huge book rest on her knees while she waited for Ruby's brother to come out. He'd have to come out SOMETIME. Probably.

Of course, when he'd planned his escape, he hadn't counted on THE BLOND GIRL to be WAITING on him.

Gabriel froze in place and just STARED at her. This girl, in particular, could NOT be trusted. His eye might've even twitched a bit......Oh, yes. It was definitely twitching.

"............Ruby's in Slytherin. Wrong house." Also, what was most interesting about this was that he was so....PUT OFF by the Zahra girl...that he wasn't a stuttering mess. Much appreciated considering he couldn't handle any further humiliation at her hands.

".... I have something for you." AND SHE WAS BEAMING and so proud of it and this idea and he should just TAKE THE BOOK RIGHT NOW before she got excited and threw it at him.

She was suddenly in his way and Gabriel found himself getting angry; something he usually reserved for Ruby...or family, in general. "I don't want to talk to you." He was still put off from when she'd made him cry...and forced him to sleep in his bathroom.

"I was just bored," Zahra mumbled. It wasn't the first time someone had called her insane. Not even the tenth, fiftieth, or hundredth either. It seemed to be the go-to adjective for Zahra here at Hogwarts. She wasn't insane though, she really wasn't. As it was though, Zahra wasn't going to explain how she needed to stay busy ALL the time lately to keep her mind off of Mikey.

It was like when Ruby had bothered him about not receiving a bunch of valentines and she'd been so disappointed and upset...but he'd forced her out of his room, anyway.......only to send her fifty or so the next day because he didn't want her to be sad.

Zahra was red faced and angry and if she was honest, her feelings were a little damaged after this. So she did what any Gryffindor would do. Zahra took off one of the boots she was so proud of and she chucked it hard at the back of Gabe. "I'm NOT dumb! THere's more to smarts than BOOKS!"

Nose wrinkled at the thought of drinking sherbet, but Charlies eyes were still light with the sense of a smile. Gosh, she thought that she'd had a sweet tooth, but this boy was another thing altogether, right? Maybe her sweet tooth was solely for fudge and Moretti-baked goods. "You do that. Let me know when you've tracked him down, yeah?" And of course, Charlie knew that she'd probably wait forever for that message - there was no way this kid was actually even going to try to hard to find the elf.

It was all a mythical joke, clearly.

"One hundred?" Readjusting her seat, and the jaw that had practically dropped to the floor, she couldn't help the incredulous lilt to her voice. No way, José had this kid eaten one hundred marshmallow chocolatey biscuit things. Not in the space of one evening. No one could, it wasn't possible. "I'll bare that in mind. Maybe you can treat me to one." Otherwise, she would totally forget or never get up the effort to make herself one.

'Last tutor'. That kinda stood out to Charlie, and although she just nodded by way of acknowledgement of the fact that he was here, now, she was inwardly glad he wasn't in her house. This was a serious year for her, you know? No need for distracting kids that couldn't keep a tutor. She couldn't even image what he'd be like around other teenagers. Gosh, was she old? She felt old. Old and strict.

Ew. "Yeah, it is. Overlooking the lake." She would leave out the fact that it was the better common room. Other houses liked to take offence to that. She hopped up from her seat, clutching the plate with her nibbled-at sandwich on, hesitating a bit before leaving the kitchen, pausing to check he was following (with his lemonade, of course). She didn't pause much on the way, only a few times to point out various points that meant they were on the right track. Obviously she didn't expect him to remember the statues and portraits now, but it might come in handy later, yeah? If he got lost or something on another day.

Helpful, wasn't she? As they reached the seventh floor, Charlie stopped, leaning over the banister to point out a particular staircase a few floors down. "If you can, avoid that one. It's faster, but only if it's going in the right direction."

Angel looked around the seventh floor corridor she was totally trying to avoid Abby, because well her sister had been totally out of order and Angel didn't want anything else to do with her but the Ravenclaw and Gryffindor towers were near each other so she had to be sneaky.
