The Great Hall

Once you've made your entrance, you can choose which table to sit at from the wide central walk space running up to the staff dais. The floor has been polished over the summer to a sheen so shiny that you can see your own appearance in it. Awesome!

Eden thought this was a very NICE choice of picture scenery. There were people sitting at the various tables, eating, drinking, being MERRY and such. Time to do her charms homework, yeah? She pulled out the camera Professor Fuller had GRACIOUSLY given them and tried to pick which angle she could take the picture from.

She chose to focus on all four tables, and snapped quite a few pictures...right. Hmm. She flapped the pictures up and down to get them to dry faster and then glanced down at which one had the most people. There needed to be a good bit of movement and such. She got out her wand and tapped the one she wanted to charm..."Alacer!" she cried, and she tapped the photo gently.......

Nothing.

Okay, no problem. She was standing, kind of not focusing, and also...there was LOTS of noise. She took a seat at the nearest table--and she set the picture down and took a few deep breaths. "Okay.." she said to herself, and she ruffled her hair a bit before tried to cleaaar her mind...and focus on what she had to do, which was make this picture MOVE. Staring at the picture of the four tables and the staff table, she pointed her wand at the photo. "ALACER!" she cried, and she was DELIGHTED that instantly, her picture started moving.

The people ate their breakfast, the professors chatted with each other, and she SQUEALED in delight! MERLIN it looked SO cool. she turned it over and labeled the back, "Potions Homework, Photo 1." And she grinned at her hard work. Now...four more pictures to do. She had to figure out where she wanted to go.

Puck hadn’t even really stopped at the table that morning for food. No, she had done something far more different in her attempt to grab a quick breakfast. Today, she had her water bottle in hand and had simply grabbed a slice of toast from the table. It was weird; she hadn’t been hungry really at all that morning.

She probably would be later, but for now she was just going to sprinkle in a bit of the fairy food into the jar for her fairies. They were probably far hungrier than she was after all their bodies were so much smaller than her own.

“Here you go guys, enjoy” she grinned as she quickly conjured a little bowl for the fairies and placed a sprinkle of food in there for them. She would give them water later, but for now she had to close the lid once more and head to class.

Caleb could not actually remember attending charms class, and it was scaring him. He had homework, however, and just because he didn't remember the actual class didn't mean he couldn't do the homework, right?

Caleb's whole approach to this whole 'not-remembering-a-month-of-my-life' thing was to just...ignore it and keep quiet. Things would get back to normal, right? Since then...do lapses in memory. It was all so very odd but he couldn't keep focusing on it, he'd go mad!

Camera in tow, Caleb sat down at his table and then aimed his camera for the candles floating about the Slytherin table. Once he had his picture, he grabbed his wand out of his bag, cleared his throat, and pointed at the picture.

"Alacer!" he exclaimed, tapping the picture as he did so. The only reason he knew to do this was from watching other Slytherins do their homework in the common room, since he had no memory of learning the charm...but apparently it worked! There was his moving picture. Success!
