Third Floor Corridor

Connecting the Charms classroom to the Hospital Wing lies a floor full of doors... and more mostly-clean suits of armour and crabby old portraits, as usual.

So this was in her last start of term feast had happened as well as her last train ride to Hogwarts. Laura was a bit sad about that but she knew that she still had all the time in the world to say goodbye to everyone single thing in this castle. She was sure if she started now then surely she could say goodbye to the whole castle including the grounds.

Laura couldn't believe how fast time was flying she was sure that there had to be a mistake somewhere along the way but for now she would just leave it and figure out if she had mistaken her age though she doubted it, all she knew was that she had to speak to the Librarian when she got chance. She wanted to help him about the horses she had.

Christmas was just taking in last sights of the castle when she stumbled upon Laura in the third floor and said "Well this is it Laura our last ever year at Hogwarts" Christmas was feeling a bit sad she had already gone down to the qudditch pitch and signed up for the tryouts which would be held in the future

Laura looked at Christmas as she cam up-to her. "I know." Laura sighed. "Hasn't time flied." Laura was going to try and go through another term without a detention or a points loss. "You know last year was my first without losing a single point." Laura had no idea why but it kind of felt good. "So what are you plans this year?" Laura asked her friend.

Christmas smiled and said "That is good Laura and yeah time has flied and as for plans this year i havent really made any i have signed up for gryffindor tryouts again so i need to get down the practice pitch and practice as ive not practiced for a few weeks so i am a bit rusty"

Laura smiled at Christmas. "I'm trying out as well. I played in my first and third year but I'm more into Horse Racing." Laura said truthfully. "But if I make it on the team at least I'll still be competitive." Laura thought she had to learn how to be competitive but also nice at the same time, sometimes she was a bad loser but well she was learning. "I have 3 horses at the minute. Lightning, McQueen and Rocket." Laura loved all the names that she had chosen. "Lightning won his first race other the summer." Laura beamed it had been awesome.

Laura smiled at Christmas. "I have no idea and I don't know actually." Laura sighed she didn't really listen to who got what at the minute and she had been so busy with other stuff that she didn't know what had happened, she hadn't even spoken to Ella or Sophie since they came back to school. "So what you going to do now?" Laura asked suddenly.

Why was Caelen walking down the third story corridor? She didn't need to go to the infirmary or anything. In fact the witch statue and such actually freaked her out. She was going to have to get Spencer to see that next year. Everybody needed a good scare sometimes, and Caelen always loved to prank him.

But that wasn't the reason. She was exploring. Again. Yes, she may have JUST said like a day ago that it was getting boring for her, but she wanted to go back and check her work. The redhead had heard that Hogwarts was a place of great mystery, and she wanted to see a lot of that mystery for herself. She wanted to be the really cool and suave seventh year that knew her way around the school and knew the quickest way to each classroom. Especially for the Ravenclaws. Because running up and down seven floors each day was NOT FUN.

Anyway, she walked among the corridor, looking at each of the paintings. It still amazed her that paintings could move in this world. There was one way her mother liked to make paintings move. By those stupid moving picture frames -which of course her brother was always charming-.

And she was kind of looking for someone to talk to. Because having no one to talk to was BORING. And no, she wasn't friendless. She had people to talk to if she ever wanted to get out of her comfort zone and well... actually talk. But she wanted to talk to some knew and exciting people. Go on adventures with Gryffindors, talk life-goals with the Slytherins. Because she was eleven. And very annoying nice.

Sophie made her way to the staircase leading from the dungeons to the next floor up. She wasn't exactly thrilled about this, but she had to do it anyway. Healer Tillstorm had told her she had to think about what had happened with Genie Pilliwickle then report back to her afterwards.

Sophie had planned to just NOT do it and say she had, but then the Healer had killed that idea by telling Sophie she actually had to come visit her in her office. BOO. That's what Sophie got for dealing with Slytherins. So she carried on down the corridor en route to the Healer's office.

After making sure her office was locked, Cece turned to head down the corridor for that walk. She didn't want to be gone too long since she was expecting someone in her office in just s little while.

Speaking of that someone. "Miss Newell. I see you remembered our appointment today." The girl was heading to the healer's office, right?

So much for going for that walk right now.

Yes, Sophie remembered their little appointment, but seeing as the Healer was strolling down the corridor in the opposite direction, Sophie guessed she hadn't remembered the same.

"Of course I remembered," she noted, "and I'm here to hold up my half of the deal." Oddly enough, she hadn't seen Pilliwickle around lately. "So anyway, I've done some thinking about what happened in that common room party."

Okay, awesome. The Healer was totally game for discussing this right here and now, so Sophie didn't have to worry about leaving and coming back when Healer Tillstorm was back in her office. She moved toward the bench and say down, as well. They were practically family (on down the line), so she could do this, right?

"I've been thinking that Slytherins just might win the Quidd--...," she began. Well, she HAD been thinking about that, but--... "Okay, okay. I may be a Slytherin, but that doesn't mean I can't be welcoming to new people. Also, I should see other Slytherins as members of the team and not people to argue with." After all, she might need Genie one day! "Finally, I've been thinking about how when I see others arguing, I should try and help them in a positive way instead of joining in on the fighting."

She sighed. "...and I apologize for my behavior. I think I started the school year on a bad note anyway. I was kind of bummed that my grandmother would no longer be my Potions professor and..." Another pause. "I'm sorry, Healer Tillstorm, but I was sad that she was no longer my Head of House either. I do miss having her here, but that wasn't fair to you or Professor Culloden, and you've both done a great job."

Caelen was kind of on a mission. A weird mission if you were just looking at her. She was kind of pacing the corridor except not really, sitting down every few minutes as if frustrated. And for anyone who care, she hadn't lost her mind. Well, not yet anyway. No word on what would happen if no one solved this old person thing.

But her mission was one of recon. She was looking for anything out of the ordinary. Because the redhead was a curious eleven year old and something had sparked her curiosity. Not that she was accusing anyone of anything. Not at all. She was jut following a hunch and collecting information. Hence the journal and the pen that were kept in her sort of sweaty hands. Eww, they were probably all clammy from nervousness. After all, this wasn't exactly the most normal thing to do.

And yes, the kid had at least one escape plan if someone walked over and demanded to know whats she was doing. Any spy worth their salt knew at least three ways to get out of any room. And now, she didn't care if she wasn't a spy, she could pretend at least!

One escape plan involved looking at the creepy witch statue she was afraid of and acting like it was interesting. And another involved putting the journal in her mouth to free up her hands and running like the wind. Which might actually work. The smaller girl DID have to run up seven flights of stairs every day. That was probably enough cardio to be able to run like that. And Rockwell had told her how to run away from accusing adults back when she was younger and her older brother still thought that the kid would follow in their pranking footsteps.

And as she walked, the girl was starting to get angrier. It was all the same thing. Over and over again.

WALK, TURN AROUND, WALK, TURN AROUND, WALK TURN AROUND, WALK TURN AROUND, LOOK AT THE STATUE BECAUSE SHE GOT BORED... SIT DOWN, RINSE AND REPEAT OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

That was why she found recon missions booooorrrriiing! Why couldn't they involve food? Like ice cream? Or steak? Or involve some music besides the spy music in her head. Or at least some explosions the girl with the red braid could slow motion run away from while not looking at them. Not enough to actually hurt Hogwarts, as she loved this place, but enough to make the Ravenclaw look like an action star. She would even settle for a choreographed battle scene with a B-list actress over this. All she was doing was WALKING.

Sighing, the eleven year old bunched her robes up in her free fist -she had transferred the pen to the other hand- and continued moving near the not-accused's room. Because something with him was fishy and she wanted to know what. And by "what" she meant figure out the mystery like the people in one of her favorite kids shows did and then present in the information. Because if she did this the other way around, people would call her ccraazzy. Not that she wasn't. Give her time.

This corridor was the perfect place to place the last poster.

Why?

Because with almost half the school aging and whatnot, everyone who be heading to the hospital wing. And the charms classroom was just in the other direction so it was kind of a win-win thing. KIND OF. Second poster in hand, Jun charmed it with the sticking charm and plastered it on the corridor wall. He started smoothing it out before anyone came by. They might take his spot and he won't feel as special about this spot anymore! Well, they'll have to rip his down and then tsk tsk to them because points might be taken off.

Anyway.

With the poster intact, Jun headed back to his dorm. All of this walking was making his joints hurt again.
