| | Student Bulletin Board
In the Entrance Hall hangs a long, vertical cork bulletin board encased in glass for students to hang any notices or signs for the entire student body to read. Members of any house are welcome to post any requests, advertisements, and lost and found notices (or other things) that do not belong on the boards in their common rooms. The glass case surrounding the board is never kept locked. OOC: You may now RP here!

He had all but given up on his tie, but people had also been telling him that he should have given up on ever finding Pebbles and she had come back to him. So, the search was back on!

Carrying rolled up posters in his arm, Sander walked up to the Student Bulletin Board and studied it. He momentarily laughed when he saw the Astronomy Professor's poster requesting for information regarding his missing tie and then wondered whether Professor Flamsteed had found it by now. Sander made a mental note to ask the Professor if he saw him again.
But for now, he had a task to do. Sander was finishing up on his Astronomy homework assignment. To this day, he strongly believed that Pluto had been given the wrong end of the straw and that it should still be considered a planet.
He bent down and placed one rolled up poster on the floor leaning it against the wall. Then he unrolled the second one, held it up against the bulletin board with one hand and with the other, unholstered his wand. With his wand, he traced the sides of the poster while continually repeating," Adhaero" as he did so.
Once the poster was securely fastened to the bulletin board, Sander stepped back from it and ended the Sticking Charm by saying," Finite."
There in front of him now hung, his campaign poster in support of Pluto being called a planet again.
He nodded, pleased at what he saw. He hoped that lots of people would see his poster and agree with him. The more supporters Pluto had, the faster it would regain planet status again.

Nobody put Pluto in a corner.
Ella grumbled to herself as she carried the poster she'd made in support to the dwarf planet to the student bulletin board, wanting it to get as much exposure as possible. She looked around and noticed she wasn't the only one with a cause and that was a relief. It was good to see students being passionate about stuff, especially Astronomy stuff. Ella approved.
The eighteen year old stood on her tippy toes and carefully lined the poster so that it was straight. When it was, she used the sticking charm to secure it in place and then admired her work.
Job well done, yeah?

Alec wasn't... the best at making these things. If he could fly to support his cause for making Pluto a planet again -- Team Pluto! -- he would. He could fly. But art? No. Even so, having fretted for a couple of hours over the small piece of parchment he was clutching onto, he could say that he had tried. Effort, you know. Flamsteed had to take that into account.
... Here's hoping.
Approaching the Student Bulletin Board, the boy scanned it. Hey! Look! Other Pluto posters! Feeling a little better about this, he opened the glass and took out his wand. The sticking charm was cast onto the back of the piece of parchment before he stuck it up onto an empty area on the bulletin board, near the others. There. Then it can look like there was some sort of teamwork going on.
Smiling, Alec closed the glass before heading off.

This seemed to be a recurring thing with Professors, wanting students to stick things all over the school advocating things. Personally she didn't see the point in this but she liked seeing her opinions plastered about the place so she found very little problem in making a couple posters, duplicating them of course then making her way through the castle to get them nicely fitted up.
Trying to think of places this would actually make a difference, Lex ended up at the bulletin board. This would be perfect. It didn't surprize her to see other people's work already put up, nah, you had a whole bunch of overachievers at this school that didn't wait until the last minute like she did.
Did it bother her? Not really, depending on how long ago they'd been put up, hers would look the freshest and therefore the most eye catching. It worked out perfectly for her. "Adhaero!" Then smack and the poster was name nice and snug among the others.

In what other place would she stick her second and last work of art than the bulletin board? Alice was positive that she'd be the only one to have such a creative location idea, but when she arrived at the glass case after hanging up her other poster, a million others were already there. What? Was this a common spot? Would she have to find a new area in which to plaster hers up?
But... hm. If a bunch of people were putting their own creations here, then they'd see hers when they came to do their business and stuff. With that thought in mind, Alice began casting a Sticking Charm on her poster. "Adhaero. Adhaero, Adhaero, Adhaero..." Repeating the incantation under her breath, she outlined the edges of the parchment with her wand.
And then... up it went. Ta-da!

| Astro 3 : 1 Eagle Eye [⅓ Badger Trio] Felon & Kafka ♥ Gilderoy Lockhart <3 [TEAM 947!] No. It was unacceptable.
FOUR posters against ONE. Science wins, and while she hadn't thought of putting her poster in here, the four posters that were obviously Pro-Pluto (though she couldn't be certain about the size one) made her change her mind while also changing the score on this.
Nonsense. Pluto was not a planet, some people just had to let it go. So, without further ado, she placed her poster on top of the 'Pick someone your own size' one, which wasn't a good advice either, and well, she was considering a permanent sticking charm, since she was good with those, but a sticking charm would suffice. LET IT GO. No permanency of any kind.
Wand at hand, a simple Adhaero did the trick and her poster was now in the place where the 'Size' one had been.
THERE. No longer four. Pro-Plutoids are winners in the end.

Cutty hadn't been to the student bulletin board since last year when he'd advertised for his candy business. There were so many posters for Pluto it was ridiculous...but also a learning experience for him, as he took note of just how many sentimalist saps were amongst his fellow students. He found it pathetic yet at the same time took interest in it nonetheless.
The boy unfastened his bag and rummaged around for the tube containing the his homemade posters advertising his own beliefs on the topic. He opened up the glass and hunted around for a spot to put his and noticed that at least one other student wasn't stupid and he'd even had the smartness to stick it atop another work which probably advertised the opposite sentiment. Ha! Yep. Fun! And up went Cutty's poster.
