The Slytherin Dungeon, also known as Slytherin Common Room, is located behind a wall in the cellars of Hogwarts. To get into the common room you must first know the password to the room (it changes every fortnight) and then you must know which wall to whisper this password to.
If you don't know either, then you'll just be left standing there, literally talking to a wall. If you're not a lost Slytherin then I wouldn't bother trying to talk to the walls around here; they're quite damp from the humidity of the lake above and sometimes they make noises....
You can hang around the hidden entrance to the common room here (especially if you're waiting on a friend) but be careful... snake pits aren't pleasant places for outsiders.

... Delilah was really starting to get annoyed with this kid. She just didn't understand him. Like, at all. What did she say that was SO funny? Ugh. She looked away from him and continued walking until they reached the entrance. Okay, great. She ignored the sudden feeling of nervousness as she turned to look at Bart.
She could think of a few password suggestions but first.. "Why don't you try tapping the door with your wand? If it doesn't work, we'll try the passwords." Sounds good, yeah?
He stood looking at clearly to a Slytherin the wrong wall, but he was confident it was right. Now how to get in was the question. He felt like he should be able to figure this out he did have a father who was Slytherin so it had to be in him somewhere to be able to figure this out.
Tapping the wall he nodded at her, "I know I was just about to do that." He took a breath not that he was nervous but he really didn't want to screw up in front of someone either. He was too prideful to say if he didn't know, so he'd just keep doing things most likely.
Pulling his wand out he tapped in a triangle first, then a circle. Hmm he thought a moment on what other ways to tap. "Maybe a shape of a snake?" He tapped again in an S form.
"What if it's a password and a tap." That sounded promising to be correct didn't it?

No, this was okay. Technically, she supposed it was okay to hang out here so they wouldn't really get into trouble or anything. And she really doubted if they could get into the common room. She'd still give it a try, though. Help him out maybe. It would be fun.. yeah.
"Hmm..I maybe wrong." Delilah looked around, narrowing her eyes a little. "I think.. it's only a password. At least, I think we should try that first because we don't know where to tap." Her eyes turned to look at the boy for a moment before raising an eyebrow. "What do you think? Or.. you can tap while I try the passwords? Yep. Team effort. She liked this idea.

Bart was still trying to think of new tapping and possibly some passwords when the girl next to him spoke. Maybe she was wrong, what was she talking about and he turned to listen.
Only a password.. hmmm he looked back at the wall again. Just a password he thought about this as she kept speaking. What would a snake make as a password. SSSSSSS, Slither, no those were too easy. What could it be. "What if it was something silly like acid pops or dunderheads, or even Unicorn. What Slytherin would want Unicorn as their password so it wouldn't be one we'd think of." He looked at the wall chuckling his dad told him things. He wanted to know if they were true he liked these things.
Now she wanted him to tap as she thought about passwords he could do that. "Sure I'll tap." He started making designs tapping his wand.

Where oh where had her Sharky gone?
No really, where had Sharky gone? The cat had really been spending all of her time in the dorm with the girls lately. It hadn't been weird for her to disappear for a while before, but now it was. Maybe she and Lando had had some sort of kitty tift and she didn't want to be in the dorm with him anymore? Surely animals had fights just like people did, right? Hmm. Cat had searched the common room twice, after looking under all the beds in the girl's dorm. So she headed out into the corridor, wondering if perhaps the cat had slid out when someone entered.
"Hhhheeeerrrreeee kitty, kitty. Little kitty cat." Where areeee yoooouuuuuu....?

Theo was thinking the whole way down to the common room. About cauldron cakes that he was craving, about his silk pyjamas that he was gonna wear tonight (OOOOEEE, exciting), and about the password. The password to the common room. What was that again? It was a stupid idea to change it every fortnight. AS IF anyone would bother breaking into the SLYTHERIN common room. It was all about Hufflepuff's, with their en-suite kitchen and all.
Non-deserving, he always thought.
Once he got to the wall, he scratched his head and noticed Cat wandering around straight away. Kitty? Calling for a kitty? She had LOST a kitty cat? Theo looked around both shoulders and shuddered. "Aren't you supposed to keep those things on leads?" Seriously.
Theo didn't like cats.

Looking up at the voice, Caterina shrugged in Theo's direction. "Well, she wasn't supposed to be out of the dorm at all, actually. She's probably in there hiding somewhere." Though it didn't hurt to take a look around, right? Sharky knew the castle very, very well by now. She would be okay.
So Cat decided that she wasn't going to worry.
Besides, Theo looked unamused. She grinned at him. "You guys were awesome at the match." If she couldn't play, she could at least appreciate watching Slytherin win.

Hiding. Cats weren't smart enough to hide.
"You mean, it opened the door and walked out?" Theo didn't mean to say it sarcastically as such, but it kinda sounded so. He didn't like to think like a muggle about anything at Hogwarts. For all he knew, magical cats COULD walk on their hind legs and open doorknobs.
Fair play to them, that was what he called evolution.
Guuuuuuh.... of course. Another person that mentioned Quidditch. Is that all he was known for these days? He ought to find a new talent to do on the side. Like ACTING on a stage. If Hogwarts ever did a pantomime, Theo'd soooo try out for that. "Thanks." He said as positively as his insides could muster. "We always play awesome." Just sayin'.
