If you know the password, you can make your way through a portal in the stone wall of the dungeon and walk into the Slytherin common room:

The ceiling is low and the walls are made of stone, and even though they seem dank and cold, the room tends to stay a very comfortable temperature. There are greenish lamps by black leather couches and chairs, with skulls all around. Some of the chairs had been transfigured into Chaise Lounges by previous seventh years, and never turned back. With the common room being located under the lake, you can occasionally see mermaids, grindylows and the giant squid swim by when you look out the windows. A rug covers the floor in front of the fireplace that has a hunter green fire burning in it. The Slytherin emblem is everywhere, as house pride is one of Slytherin's strong qualities. It reminds students of what being a Slytherin means and allows them to share those feelings with others.

This is where Slytherin students are allowed to unwind, study and chat with one another. There is a staircase straight ahead that leads to a room students may use as a quiet place to study and ask prefects and high scoring students questions. To the left, a staircase that goes down to the Boys Dorms, and to the right a staircase that leads to the Girls Dorms. Beside each staircase is self inking quill and parchment with the words Attendo Thea Vipera on it.

On the side of the fireplace is a Notice Board for class and homework announcements, as well as general announcements and signup sheet with the words 20 minutes max on it, for those wanting to sit on the couch and stare at the fire all emo-like. The Roster is also there for Students to make sure their name is there and spelled correctly.

A podium stands to the side with a copy of Hogwarts a History, which is where you will learn that even though the whole dungeon had once been flooded, nothing was waterlogged or permanently damaged.

Default anyone? wanna meet a West? I wanna meet a YOU.
lives in a hobbit hole || Ern and Touz's Nuzzle || roflysst || looking at a seed packet

In all his years as a Slytherin here at Hogwarts (which was, incidentally, all his years at Hogwarts), West had never seen anyone sign up to stare in the fireplace.

Not once.

He'd seen the sheet of paper there, with the 'twenty minutes max' written on it, and often wondered how long it had been there and what had caused its appearance. Some ancient head of house tiring of finding some angsty kid losing his or herself in the hypnotizing flames? Others whining about when it was going to be their turn? The mind boggled.

Personally West thought it wasn't necessary because there was a total pecking order in Slytherin house. The older students always got the best seats and all that and that was the way it was, and it worked.

And he was one of those now so he went ahead and threw himself on the couch that he had deemed his favourite. It wasn't because of it was anything special or whatever -it was black leather like most of the others- but what it was was long. Whether West sprawled out on it, or if he sat up properly, it fit the length of him nicely. Nobody had ever said that would be a problem, finding comfortable places to sit and all that, but it was. Long legs and long everything else meant a shorter or lower seat had West sitting with his knees at his ears. He was obviously not large, but he was tall. The tallest in his year. So this couch? Was his. Logic made it so.

West had a bunch of stuff with him. Letters from home, and his playbook for the under seventeens team. One downside now that Mo was on the team was that he couldn't just use them for the house tournament... not unless he was tricky about it. And he supposed there was one advantage he had in that he could memorize them a lot easier than Mo could... so he could always go for some of the more obscure ones.... hmmm.....

Default Fantasy!! Also, I'm assuming the pb has it's title printed on it. If not I can edit.

Thoughts. Cutty was having thoughts. So far, his second year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry had been sort of bland. The only perk so far had been the white hair, beard, and when he checked this morning varicose veins on his left leg. Now, the reason why Cutty saw this as plus instead of a minus was because no matter where he went in life after this, no one he would encounter was bound to know just exactly what had afflicted him to make him appear so old. Which of course the boy translated as: FREESTYLE!

Any and everything went. 'I'm dying of a mysterious and incurable disease. Please accept me into your dying wish charity so that I can live my dream of meeting the Hexyboyz.'

Or maybe, 'You wouldn't cast upon an old man, would you?'

Even, 'Yes, I'm over 18, now let me in to see the film, before I have you fired, young man!'

He would've considered bellying-up to some pub or another and ordering a fire whiskey, but he'd had his run-ins with that last year in Hogsmeade. You know, the first time Cutty was pretending to be old.

Carrying a cylindrical wrapping of green wires, his wand, and what appeared to be a pair of pliers, the petite built sociopath found the Common Room empty except for one West Odessa planted on the long sofa. "Hi, West." He greeted the older Slytherin, though not so much intended to open a dialogue. In Slytherin, it was sort of a way in which one could say, 'If you have the chance to poison me later, please do not partake, good sir'. At least, that's how it started out, but Cutty had only gotten as far as planting himself and his wires on the floor near to the flame when said flame flickered some light against West's playbook. Cutty's eyes fell upon it and he recalled the words he'd heard earlier on in the year. "Are you and Prefect Kinsley on the same team?" He pointed to the playbook and then quickly drew his hand back to unwrap his wires.

... if he modified the Parkins Pincer here...

... took advantage of the cracks in Ravenclaw's defense game there...

... hoped for the best when it came to their inhuman speed...

West mulled over things, a plan beginning to form as he chewed his bottom lip. And then he was interrupted. The tall Slytherin looked up by slow degrees, blue eyes coming to focus on Cutty and his array of unfamiliar equipment that West immediately decided was Muggle in nature.

He absorbed this in silence and then Cutty asked a question. West grinned. Aside from the Slytherin house team? Well...

"Yeah, Theo made the English Under Seventeen's Team during the Summer." This was meant to imply that West had been on the team prior to that. Which was true given he'd been scouted and signed during the previous year... and then had proceeded to encourage Theo, and also Ravenclaw Captain Marcus Branxton, to give it a shot when the open tryouts were run at the beginning of the Summer season.

And what did Cutty Mordaunt know of it anyway?

Derry had her head stuck in a book, like she usually did when she wasn't flying or otherwise being ridiculous. She managed the stairs from the dorm easily, without having to look up from the page, as she had done a million times, and made her way towards that lovely favourite arm chair of hers, pausing momentarily to peek over West's couch at his book - oh, she guessed she'd find out about that stuff with the rest of the team - before plopping herself down and fitting herself comfortably into the chair.

She was having one of those quiet days, where she didn't really feel like talking. She didn't have them very often, maybe once a fortnight at tops. She just didn't particularly want to say anything... she wasn't sad at all, or annoyed, just... content with silence. So she didn't greet the captain, except for a vague finger wiggle in his direction. As for the one sat on the floor, she hardly even noticed him, except to step carefully over the wires on her way to her seat.

Cutty picked up two of the wires and held them out as if to measure them. Eye-balling their lengths, he spoke, "Yeah. He mentioned that at the opening feast. Said he was playing for the under seventeens during his summer." He reached down for the pliers and snipped at one of the wires. "My friend Toby wants to try-out." Clip! Clip! Pause. "Would you mind if I asked you a question about that?"

Clip! Clip! Compare.

Cutty noticed as they were joined by the former Slytherin Captain. As she was a biggun too, she got the 'If we should find ourselves trapped on a deserted island, please do not elect me first should you decided to give cannibalism a try.' greeting in form of, "Hello, Derry."

:: Ganymede traipsed into the common room feeling stroppy. She did a few jabs in the air at an imaginary offender and then fell backwards into one of the many cushiony chairs. This past year was a long one, and she was still learning how to deal with her new condition. Her Uncle took her to the ER over the summer when she seemed to be sick, but no magic or potion seemed to help her. The muggle doctor ran tests and her blood sugar was 550. Ganymede had Type 1 Diabetes.

Since then, she had to make some major changes, such as her discipline with things and her sense of maturity had evolved. She was now her own pancreas and it was a drag some days.

Ganymede, Be proactive. Be mindful. Her Uncle's voice rang in her head. So she pulled out her glucometer and tested. The number on the screen was a bit high, no wonder she was stroppy. She pulled her insulin pump out of her pocket, pushed a few buttons, and shoved in back into her pocket. She was testing and correcting, eating healthy, and exercising as much as she could.

She made it a rule to not think about it all the time. Her eyes scanned the room. ::

Dropping into one of the chairs in the common room, Zoe sighed and laid her head back. She heard a sound and opened her eyes again looking around for what it was. She'd thought the common room to be empty but hadn't really looked around. Seeing another girl there, she smiled at her and laid her head back again. "Is that a muggle thingy?" she asked curiously as she kept her head turned towards her. She didn't have much knowledge of muggle doctors and stuff, but it looked all muggly!

"I guess it's their own form of magic." She wanted to make it seem so normal and not weird. But, the realization is it was weird. Not weird, it's special. You are part of something so much larger now. A voice in her head reminded her. It was true, she was now a member of a whole new group of people. People who worked hard and never gave up hope. But for the most part, it was a pain in the bowtruckle.

"Might as well get this over with. Do you have any other questions?" Ganymede asked pointedly. Almost like she went through this several times before. ::

Adelaide made her way into the common room, balancing a fresh out of the oven batch of brownies in her hands. They were still warm and she'd rushed over here to make sure they were when she got back. Upon entering the common room, she spotted West, Derry, and Cutty over by the fireplace.

Addi knew there was no point in trying to sneak the brownies back to the dorms unnoticed. It was like West had a sixth sense for the things. So she made her way over to the fireplace, setting the plate of brownies down on the little table in front of it. "Hey guys. Still warm fresh baked brownies." She said grabbing another one of the armchairs. "What're you guys up to?" She wiped some access flower off of her jeans.

Oh, wow, well she didn't have to be defensive about it, she had just asked a question! Looking it over she nodded, "I've seen a few things that muggles have made and it doesn't surprise me much anymore, they have some pretty cool things they've come up with." Insulin...that was for blood sugar....she seemed to remember anyway. Auntie had told her a little about diseases but she really didn't like thinking about those kinds of things. She didn't have an interest in becoming a healer, couldn't take the sight of blood!

Her eyes widened as the younger girl was a tad on the side of rude. "No. I won't bother you with them." she said shaking her head. She might say something gross about it! No, she got that enough seeing quidditch injuries or when she visited auntie in the hospital wing.

:: Ganymede smiled with relief and pocketed her pump. Her whole demeanor changed and she leaned forward towards the girl. "I'm Ganymede by the way, my friends call me Gany." She ran a hand through her short purple hair, attempting to appear cool. "What do you like to do for fun?" Ganymede didn't have too many friends at her Uncle's, so she was desperate to do something with anyone. Sometimes Ganymede's idea of fun got her in trouble, but it was well worth it. ::

Seeing the girl finally smile and appear more relaxed she smiled back "I'm Zoe, pleasure to meet you Ganymede." She wasn't sure if that meant she should call her Gany, so decided to play it safe. She didn't mind making a new friend, it would be kind of nice really. She wished she had the nerve to dye her hair or change it with a charm or something. If her mum got wind of her doing that, it'd be worse than when she got into a fight with Laura! "Lately it's been ice skating in the room of requirement, or practicing quidditch. How about you?"

:: Ganymede shrugged, those sounded so boring. She hated ice skating. "I climbed to the top of the staircase and let a dozen slinkies go. It was amazing." She smirked, remembering how some went off the staircase and went crashing to the floors below.

"I like to watch people, go on long walks, and sing." She admitted the last one a little quietly. She hadn't sung for some time now, but it was still something she liked.

"I got lost in a Bog once. I saw funny things there." She didn't want to talk the whole time, so she paused and took a breath. "What's the scariest thing you ever done?" She asked, hoping for an idea for an adventure. ::

Ana rarely spent time in the Common Room if she could help it, much preferring to be outside, or even in some other area of the castle but today she opted to stay inside. Her ankle had been hurting a little more insistently lately and so she figured she'd just sit by the fire until she needed to move. She was still dressed properly though, just in case she had to go somewhere.

Sighing softly as she sat down on a couch Ana pulled her jacket tighter around her to keep in the warmth. She swung her legs up onto the couch and crossed them at the ankle as she pulled out her copy of The Cossaks by Tolstoy. It was a very old copy, one written in Russian, that had belonged to her father. It was one of her favourites and she let herself be drawn back into the story from where she'd left off. It would be a good way to kill a few hours at least.

The weather was getting ever colder and the idea of going outside was becoming less and less of a suitable option for the Slytherin. Today was one of those days where you could clearly see your breath in the chilly winter air and the warmth of the fireplace in the common room was calling to him. He had just taken a brief walk up to the Great Hall for breakfast. With his stomach fully satisfied, he headed back down to the dungeons.

Appearing through the entrance, the very almost seventeen year old slipped in and immediately removed his jacket to feel the benefit of the fire. He breathed a sigh of relief, glad to be somewhere cosy when he spotted a familiar figure over on the sofa. His lips fell into a smirk as he headed over, approaching from behind. He covered her eyes over with his hands before he leaned over and whispered in her ear. "Guess who?" Not that it was exactly difficult. He peered over at her book to see that it was written in Russian. Impressive, not that he could read it all.

Ana was so absorbed that she didn't even notice that someone had come into the Common Room. Nor would she have really cared if she had of. When she was in a reading mood she wasn't liable to look up unless she was spoken too. She turned the page, eyes going over it quickly before they were rudely covered. Ana was seriously considering giving whoever was touching her a piece of her mind until she recognised the voice, shivering slightly as his breath tickled her ear and neck.

She couldn't help but smile as she realised who was behind her. Terry. Who else. "West?" she asked teasingly, deliberately playing dumb. No one ever answered a guess who question correctly when in this situation, and she was sure that most of them deliberately guessed wrong like she had. That being said she figured she should probably give the correct answer as well. "Or could it be Sir Terence, my good and noble knight?"

Ana leaned back further, her head dropping back onto his shoulder as she shut her book and smiled up at him. Hoping he wouldn't be upset by her playful answer. She was glad it was Terry though since he was her favourite person to spend time with. Even above Lux and she seriously adored that little girl.

For a second, Terry could sense that Ana wasn't impressed by being distracted from reading and he was just about to uncover her eyes with a sheepish smile when she responded positively.

"If you couldn't distinguish between myself and West I'd be concerned" he chuckled. Not that he would be particularly offended, the Captain was one of his good friends after all and he was a pretty cool person. "I like the sound of the latter suggestion a lot better though" he grinned cheekily, uncovering her eyes so that she could finally see him. Or get back to reading of course if that was what she would prefer to do. "Although I'm not sure how good a knight I would be. I could probably defeat a Dragon if I had a bit of practice but I'm no good in physical contact" he admitted with a bright laugh.

He crossed his arms on the back of the sofa and leaned forward as she laid her head back on his shoulder. "I didn't distract you from anything important, did I?" he asked, looking down at her and then glancing across at her book. He'd feel guilty if he did but quite frankly he enjoyed her company and there wasn't a lot else to be done today but to socialise with his housemates.

"Considering how different you and West appear to be I'd be worried too," although she didn't really know much about West, they'd interacted a bit and he seemed pretty awesome but she much preferred the boy she was with now. "Well, luckily I don't need you to fight off any dragons or other monsters for me," Ana told him brightly. Personally she didn't know how he couldn't be good at the physical stuff. From what she could tell he was pretty strong, or at least he didn't lack in upper body strength. She hadn't been afraid once that he'd drop her during the times he'd carried her. Ana had actually felt pretty safe on Terry's back, even going up and down stairs.

"No. Nothing important," she reassured him, moving to place her book carefully on the table. "I was just reading for pleasure, it's a favourite of mine so I already know the plot," as she spoke she patted the couch next to her, swinging her legs off it, and indicating that Terry should sit down. There was no point in him standing behind her when there was room for him to sit. Especially when the first time they'd met he'd sat before even asking her permission. Strange he was worried about interrupting her now that they were friends, but that he'd been untroubled by it when they were total strangers. Although she couldn't say she was upset that he'd sat with her that day in the Treehouse. If he hadn't then she likely wouldn't know him now, and that would be a pity.

Yeah. Terry wasn’t that similar to the Slytherin captain really. They got along perfectly well however and the common room was certainly never dull of a conversation but Terry’s personality was a bit different. “You’d need to get your hearing tested too” he chuckled. Their accents were different as well. “That’s a relief” he smiled, knowing that if there was a Dragon lose somewhere he’d probably rely on the professionals to tame it down rather than do it himself. He was only sixteen, he did value his life. “But you know, tell me if you do” he replied jokingly. So he could tell the Professors straight away. Unless they were both trapped and then he might have used his best efforts to get the pair out.

Reading for pleasure. “Such a Ravenclaw thing to say” he laughed before jumping over the back of the sofa to sit next to her. He may not have been the most athletic person in the world but he sure knew how to hurdle objects. “What book is it?” he asked, bending over so he could see the front page, only to be received by a load of Russian. Yeah, no hope there then.

He eyed her jacket and then looked across at the fire. “Are you still cold?” he asked, although it was pretty obvious. He offered his arm out to her for a hug, if there was one thing the blonde haired boy could do it was give out pretty spectacular hugs. “I can try warm you up if you’d like?” Because then she could return the favour. As amazing as the common room was, it wasn’t the warmest location in the entire school unless you sat right in front of the fire and that involved giving up a seat on the sofa. This was definitely better anyway.

"Unlike some other people at this school my hearing is perfectly fine," Ana returned mock seriously. Her eyesight however was a different matter. She was finding that her eyes were getting tired more easily lately and that at times it was hard to focus on certain things that she needed to read. She was sure it was nothing to worry about though. "I will. I'm sure you'd make a dashing hero," and even if he wasn't the hero he'd certainly look dashing. Speaking of, he looked really good today. What was up with that? It shouldn't be allowed.

"I'm not sure if I should be insulted about that, since I don't think I've met any Ravenclaw's yet," or if she had she didn't know their house. But she didn't think Terry would insult her. He knew that tickling would be the consequence if he did, and that she'd show no mercy. Not even if he called uncle. Her eyes widened slightly in shock as he jumped over the couch. Walking Terry, it was the civilised thing to do. Although it did reinforce her theory that he wasn't lacking in upper body strength. "The Cossacks by Tolstoy," Ana informed him as she turned back to look at him. It amused her slightly that it appeared as if he'd been trying to read the title. Unless he knew the Russian alphabet, which she doubted, it'd likely look like a bunch of symbols. Although some did look pretty similar to English letters and in some cases numbers.

Oh, hug time? This day was getting much better.

Ana brought her legs up underneath her, curling up slightly as she slipped her own arms around Terry, snuggling close to his torso. "You smell really good today," Ana mumbled, as she pressed closer to him. It was nice, and he was slightly warmer than her. "I am, and I don't know why. Russia experiences colder weather than this every year, I've even jumped into frozen lakes multiple times and not been this cold. It feels like it's seeping into me," she told him after making herself comfortable in his space. Terry really did give great hugs and Ana liked that it didn't feel awkward and that she didn't have to hesitate to snuggle up to him like she might with other people.

That was a strange comment to come up with. The Slytherin tilted his head as he asked her a question. "Are you referring to all those people shouting in the lessons?" he asked curiously. There had appeared to be an influx of students raising their voices in the middle of their lessons. Terry had luckily not caught this hard-of-hearing bug yet but the same couldn't be said for his blurry eyesight. It couldn't be hayfever yet, it must have been due to lack of sleep and rubbing his eyes. "If you say so" he chuckled, he took pride in his appearance, thaat much was true but he wouldn't ever describe himself as 'dashing'. He wasn't big headed.

There was nothing insulting about being called a Ravenclaw. In fact, the sixth year would probably have favoured that house if he hadn't of been a Slytherin. "I have good friends in Ravenclaw. They're pretty cool people. Intelligent though, you'd always get outsmarted by one." When it came to educational things. Or wit. But Snakes were sneaky. He wrinkled his nose and looked perplexed as she told him the title of the book. All those strange symbols, looked like Ancient Runes to him. He was so glad that he hadn't taken that subject up, he was sure that he would fail. "Never heard of it" he commented. "Is it good?" Well obviously Terence seeing as it was her favourite book. She wasn't exactly going to insult it, was she?

He grinned as she cuddled up to him. He wrapped his arm around her shoulder as he pulled her closer. This was cosy. His eyes lit up when she told him he smelled nice and his cheeks flushed a very pale shade of pink. "Thanks. My mum sent me a new aftershave from Primpernelle's." Because clearly she thought her teenage son smells. "Maybe its a different kind of cold, one you're not used to" he commented. That was possible wasn't it? "Plus I guess all the working is getting to you. Maybe you're just feeling it a lot more." He pulled her closer as he leaned back against the sofa. This was so comfortable, he could probably fall asleep like this.

"Yep, one of them nearly sent me deaf with how loud he was being," Ana said, rubbing at her left ear. It had been ringing for an hour after that lesson. She didn't get why people would sit so far away from the Professor if they knew they had issues with their hearing. There was no need to subject other people to hearing loss just because they had it. Totally impolite. "I do," Ana insisted earnestly. He was quite dashing.

Always get outsmarted? Ana wasn't sure if she'd like that. Although, their intelligence could come in handy, especially with some of the more difficult classes. Not that she'd only befriend someone for their usefulness to her. Maybe she'd meet some if she spent more time in the Library?

"You've never heard of it?" Ana asked him, sitting up a bit in surprise. How could he not have heard of it? "It's a classic. Muggle, but a classic," she informed him as she moved back into her previous position. Maybe she could get him a copy in English? "It's quite good. It's set in Russia, and is about a man who goes and lives with the Cossacks, who are a... I'm not sure of the word in English, but like a group of people. They're part of Russia, but they're also separate," she wasn't explaining that very well. Moving on. "My father used to read it to me, which is when I fell in love with it. Some people find Tolstoy hard to read though. His more famous work would be War and Peace," surely Terry had heard of that book.

"Well obviously your mum has good taste in aftershave, not that you didn't smell good before, because you did, this is just different," she liked both honestly. Ana let Terry pull her closer as she listened to him speak. He could be right about the cold. "Maybe, I hope it doesn't last though. I've always loved going outside and playing in the snow, and this kind of ruins that," as Terry leaned further back into the couch Ana adjusted her own position, allowing herself to rest her head above his heart. The rhythm was soothing, and she was starting to feel a little bit warmer already.

There was always something going on in Hogwarts, maybe someone had exploded something in their common room and caused everyone's eardrums to become perforated. "Perhaps you should invest in a pair of earmuffs" he chuckled. At least they'd have a double use and they could be used in Herbology or Care of Magical Creatures if needs be. "Or better yet, they should get a hearing aid." For the time being at least. In order to protect everyone else's eardrums. He smiled as she confirmed he was dashing. It was always nice to hear compliments and Terry was always sure to give one back. "Well I'd willingly risk my life in order to save any maiden as beautiful as you" he grinned.

Wait. Had he really just said that? Cheese galore.

Why was she looking at him like that? The sixth year didn't read very often, only textbooks or those focusing on his favourite topics. Like magical creatures. "No. Am I supposed to have? It doesn't sound like the sort of thing my mum would have read me." Because quite frankly he didn't do reading in his own leisure time but he did remember his mother reading to him and his twin when they were younger. "I'm afraid it doesn't really sound like my sort of thing" he admitted, though he respected that it was her favourite book. "I don't read very often, not if there's no need to anyway." Don't judge him.

"Don't worry, I get it" he chuckled. "I think it smells pretty good too but its a bit odd when you're walking down the corridor and suddenly get a massive whiff of it." He kind of feared people would look at him strange for smelling so strong. Still, it was better than some bodily scents and for that he was grateful. "Well maybe when you've warmed up a bit, we could go outside and have a snowball fight with everyone else." Sounded like a plan. There was nothing like a little interhouse competition after all, was there?

She rested her head on his chest and he watched her intently, the corner of his lips curling up into a smile. This was really nice.

"I have some, they're lavender," and had cute little unicorns on the side. She may have bought them when she was ten. "I do agree about them getting hearing aids though. Have none of them thought to go see the Healer?" she asked, a little bit hypocritically. Still her problems weren't as severe as hearing loss so she didn't need to go per say.

...

He thought she looked beautiful? Ana flushed as she took in the compliment, using her hair to hide her face. It was a bit cheesy, but it was a compliment and even Terry had seemed a bit surprised that he'd said it. Ana took that to mean that he actually meant what he was saying, rather than giving her a compliment simply because he thought he should.

"I... Well it's certainly not an obscure book," she said hesitantly. There was no shame in not having read it of course, or to know what it was she supposed. But okay, not going to buy him a copy in English any time soon. "I like reading, I have a whole stack of books in my trunk that I don't really need," and she'd likely have more after Christmas. "I guess you don't," she said noncommittally, if one didn't want to read for leisure in their spare time then they obviously didn't have to.

Oh, good. Terry hadn't thought she'd been insulting him. In her book that would have been a disaster. "Hmm, you could wear less of it if you think it's too strong," Ana suggested, snuggling further into his side, not that she could get much closer unless she climbed into his lap (which she wasn't going to do), and listened to his suggestion about the Snowball fight. "Maybe, but right now I'm happy to just stay like this." If he wanted to go outside to have a snowball fight she'd go with him but she was content right here.

Eyes flicking up to Terry's face a smile spread across her own lips when she noticed his look. Good. It looked like he was just as happy with their current arrangement as she was.
