If you chose the round door to the left, you will soon find yourself inside the girl's dorms. Each year has a room of its own, and if this is your first time here at Hogwarts, there will always be someone there to help you find your way. The rooms are spacious, furnished with comfortable wooden bedsteads, each covered in patchwork quilts.
Come inside and make yourself at home, get to know your fellow roommates, but don't stay up too late, you wouldn't want to miss any of your classes!
There are absolutely no boys allowed in the girl's dorms. Should a curious male wander through the wrong round door, his path will be blocked off immediately, and no spell he attempts will remove the obstacle.
Best to keep to yourself gentlemen, I wouldn't bother trying if I were you.
Sooo they were back. Back for another term. Somehow the summer break had gone by a lot faster than Olly'd expected it to. And somehow she'd had things planned and half of those she didn't even get to do. There were only a handful of people she'd actually SEEN over the summer. Though, thinking about it, she'd seen everyone she'd wanted to see. And some Alice who she HADN'T wanted to see. But you couldn't have everything right?
Olly walked into the dormitory she shared with Elodie and took a deep breath. Ah. Yes. Definitely back. She even smiled slightly to herself while moving over to her bed, not really paying much attention to anything else in the room. The rest of her stuff had already been brought up here but she ignored it for now. Instead, Olly sat down on her bed, pulled her legs up, crossed them and bounced a couple of times.

Hello. Hello Hogwarts bed. Hello Hogwarts.
OKAY COOL. This term was going...eh, okay. She was fed. It happened. Food had been eaten. And then she'd had her little run in with Lux sleeping in the common room, and darted the full way up towards the sixth year dorms. HER NEW HOME FOR THE YEAR. She didn't note the third trunk in the room, because she was only looking for her own things and for Olly. Gemini was on her bed, tucked away with the pillows. As usual. Lazy cat. AND THERE WAS OLLY. "Ollllllllllllllly!"
Climbing onto the other girls bed, Els grinned at her and lay back. "You didn't ditch me!" Like others. Which was awesome. Because Els was really pretty content with the whole Olly thing now. Obviously, she hadn't been a whole year ago. But she was now.
"I got us new books and stuff to make paper chains with." If Olly wanted to know specifically.
Despite the LOUDNESS of her friend's entrance, Olly felt her lips curl up into a small grin. Yes, it really was good to be back. Though she wouldn't have minded if the summer break had lasted a liiiitttllee longer. But, she was definitely A LOT more excited about being here today than exactly a year earlier. A lot. Despite Elodie shouting her name. And simply lying down on HER bed now. It was all good though.
"Where ELSE would I be sleeping?" Though the amused smirk on her lips suggested that, thinking about it, there WOULD be other places for her to stay too. Buuuuuut no, this was her dorm. Their dorm. She shifted slightly to be able to look down at Elodie properly. And once again her lips curled into a smile at the mention of the coloring books etc. "Oh, I've definitely missed that." Was there sarcasm in her tone? But she wasn't serious. She had actually started to like the Elodie-things.
"How's your brother by the way? Any weird beards?"

From her spot on her friends bed, Elodie had perfect view of their ceiling and took in exactly how many paper chains she thought she could fit. THEY could fit. Because obviously Olly wanted in on the paper chain action. Els couldn't see a reason why not. It was fun, and they could eat whilst they did it. She KNEW the thought of that would entice the other sixth year. Basis of their friendship was possibly bacon. Coul and bacon, specifically. Because...best boyf.
Looking from the ceiling to Olly, Els stuck her tongue out and nudged her. "Not here." Obviously. She didn't pry though, because for one: Olly didn't TALK about things. And for two: Els wasn't sure she cared too much right now to question if Olly had stooped low enough to cuddle on the common room sofa with unbearable humans. Stan? Maybe? Hm? No. Never. No way. "You and Stanley aren't cuddle buddies are you?" Please no. Elodie would have to disown her for that. And she didn't really want to do that, seeing as it was pretty cool to have someone around who told you things straight even if you didn't really want to hear it.
Missed it? Perfect! "I got you one full of flowers. Figured you could work on embracing that side of you." Maybe even dresses. HM? It was a working progress.
AH. Braison. "No news yet. He had a black eye before I got the train. Punched him for being a tool." Perfect aim.
Really? How old was Elodie again? Eight? Despite rolling her eyes at her, there was still an amused grin playing around Olly's lips. Not here. Yeah. But just because she'd brought her stuff here and considered THIS her dorm didn't mean that she had to sleep her aaaall the time, right? They'd each had the dorm to themselves occasionally last term after all. "I still live here." Even if she wasn't going to stay here all the time.
Wait...what? Cuddle buddies? What did that even MEAN? Olly threw Elodie an incredulous look, not entirely sure if the girl was serious or not. "First, I don't cuddle." HA! WRONG! But shh. "And two...no? Why?" Where had that come from? And why was it amusing her somehow? Els couldn't honestly believe that, right? As if that was EVER going to happen. Ever. Especially not now.
Buuuuut back to the coloring books. "Flowers?" Olly's face CLEARLY reflected her ENTHUSIASM for the prospect of coloring in flowers the rest of the term. "That's really more Schuyler's territory..." Flowers, yes. Even though her lips had curled into a smile at that, Olly's face fell into a frown half a second later. "Why would I want to embrace that side of me?" She quite liked herself as she was, thank you very much.
ELODIE HAD PUNCHED HIM IN THE EYE?! "Ah." Olly nodded and made a point of shifting a little away from the other girl. "Remind me never to get on your wrong side." Though there was a rather amused smirk on her lips.

Oh. She still LIVED here. "Glad to know. I wasn't feeling the whole abandonment thing. And I composed a new song with my spoons. Wake up callllll!" And she'd completely equipped herself with knee pads and extra large shirts to put cushions in in case Olly pushed her off the bed when she was trying to wake her up by bouncing. No injuries here! Unless she landed on her head... because she didn't have herself a helmet. Which was probably something she really should have considered, given how much Olly hated being woken up. And hated Els' spoon playing. Not that Elodie knew why, because she was wonderful at it.
OH. THAT LOOK. OLLY WAS TOTALLY NOW A CUDDLER. "Are you telling me you don't cuddle because it's Stan? Is it Stan? Come on..you should be able to tell me this stuff. I tell you THINGS about Coul. Should I get myself a sick bucket?" Forget it. She was already pretending to be sick into her hands, and wiggling her legs in the air too. STANLEY HASTINGS WAS THE LEAST CORRECT PERSON FOR ANY FEMALE BECAUSE HE WAS MADE OF PURE EVIL AND WAS RELATED TO SOMETHING BAD SMELLING. Obviously.
Annnnnnnnnnnd she didn't look too pleased with the idea of flowers. Tough tutu's. She had a flower book and then another one that looked relatively Ollyish. Or..as Ollyish as colouring could get. Elodie propped herself up onto her elbows and pulled a face. "She doesn't get a book. She doesn't get to colour." Not with them. It didn't matter if other people liked her. Elodie reserved her colouring skills for certain people, and Schuyler was not one of them. More tough tutu's. "Because I'm going to draw flowers on you when you're asleep." Improvised!
Verrrry funny, Clarke. "I'd have thought you'd known that already, Missy." Heheheheh.
The curtains, you know? Yellow curtains. She didn't approve of them, and they kept coming back every time she managed to make them disappear somehow. She even had to put them back up again herself. Talk about an upsetting moment there. At least she's never set them on fire, so that was the nicest thing the curtains could say, if they talked.
So, it's no surprise that she was currently changing the color of her curtains. To silver, because magenta was too much, and then her pygmy puff wouldn't be seen somehow. And Hadley wouldn't say 'No' to this because she was practicing for OWLs, too. Or that was her excuse, anyway. Since all charms fade with time she was also trying to figure how long this would last. Experiments. Totally educational.

Oh MERLIN why. Why? Why? Why? Olly groaned and leaned forward until her forehead was resting against the bed. Dramatic reaction? Probably, but totally reasonable. "Maybe I SHOULD go sleep somewhere else." She muttered into her bedsheets, simply staying like that a for a moment before lifting her head again to raise her eyebrows at Elodie. "Where are your spoons?" Was that an innocent question? Maybe she could just hide them somewhere Els would NEVER EVER find them.
STAN? "Okay, seriously, Els, WHAT is it with your obsession with Stan?" Olly actually LAUGHED at the thought of that happening. Cuddling was probably the last thing she'd want to do with Stan. Also what on Earth had given Elodie the impression that it was even remotely possible that anything like that would ever happen? Before she said anything else she actually wanted to have that question answered. "Why would you think it's Stan?"
Also, next question, why did she think there was anyone, HMM?
That...had not at all been what Olly had meant to say. But it was somewhat interesting to see Elodie's reaction to it. Let's seeeee... "I could just share it with her then." She put on an innocent look as she continued to watch the fellow Hufflepuff. Draw flowers on her FACE? "You wouldn't dare." Actually she probably would. And yeah, she knew not to get on Elodie's wrong side. But pushing boundaries a little.

Thank Merlin for magic.
Delilah walked into her dorm FINALLY. She'd spent the entire morning exploring the castle and the grounds. It had been fun but she wanted to just relax for a bit now. Or put up the posters in her dorm! Yeah. She had been meaning to do that for a while but somehow kept putting it off. She was a little lazy. Sometimes.
"Hey, Lotus!" She opened her trunk and pulled out all the posters she'd brought from home. The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, ABBA, Coldplay.. Mhm. ALL her favourite bands. She just hoped Lotus would be okay with it.

"NO." For one, Elodie wasn't partial to being left on her OWN for longer than a day or two. And she'd coped with that last year, but...NO. "I'm very childlike, Olly. I can't be left alone for longer than a day or two." She needed Olly to somewhat parent her, obviously. Els patter her head when it was down, and then shook her head at the spoons question. "For me to know and you to find out in the morning." Early in the morning. If it was even possible for Els to get out of her own bed that early. Maybe she'd just crawl along the floor and make as half-assed attempt.
OBSESSION?! The look Elodie pulled was nothing close to being impressed by that word. "You're CRAZY. I don't have an OBSESSION." A hate, yes. A loathe. Complete loathe. To the point where her knitting needles had had their own urges to embed themselves in his EYES. She had that much control over them. "Because you hate him almost as much as I do, and I almost kissed him once when I was emotionally distraught. You could just be having a slip in mentality. Which...I will slap you out of." Because...gross. No way. The thought of Olly and Stan and...bfurfbejrkferj no never. That was not allowed. Had they not heard her reaction at the Halloween party?!
Vom.
"You can't share them. I got them. They are for Olly and Elodie colouring time. NOT for 'Olly and Schuyler' colouring time. THAT doesn't exist. It isn't ALLOWED to exist." Colouring had been her thing. HER thing, and she'd forced Olly into it and it did not mean that Olly could SPREAD that around. It wasn't asked for. Wasn't approved. No. Request denied. Where was her stamp? STAMPING ON THAT. "I would dare." Actually, she was contemplating doing it tonight, just to prove stuff.

Very childlike. Something told her that Elodie was not referring to her obsession with coloring books and making lots of noise with spoons. "I know. Who knows what you'd do with my bed if I was gone for longer than one night...or the rest of the dorm for that matter." Olly turned her head slightly to look around the room, almost expecting to find some paper chains already put up. Els was quick like that. She could have done it in the few seconds Olly had had her head down. Nothing though. As for the spoons comment, the Hufflepuff simply groaned again.
Maybe she'd manage to get up BEFORE Elodie tomorrow morning.
Ah, that seemed to really get to her. Sort of. If you could call it that. Olly lips curled into an amused smirk as she straightened up again. "Hate to tell you this, but YOU were the one to bring him up in the first place." And there really was absolutely nothing at all that would have brought topic of conversation on. Except that he'd been on ELODIE'S mind. So there you go. "I'm...mentally stable, just so you know. So, no it's not Stanl-" HANG ON A SECOND WHAT? "You did what?!" How did she not this? When had this happened? Well, actually she could guess WHEN but WHY?! HOW? WHAT?
Why was Olly laughing? She shouldn't be laughing at Els. That was rude but...it WAS funny.
As was the other girl's reaction to the whole coloring book thing. Though this time Olly did manage to put on a serious look. "Hey, relaaaaax. I'm not going to share our coloring books." See, Elodie, OUR coloring books. Pause. "I know you would." And the other Hufflepuff knew that Olly would retaliate, right? Probably with worse things than flowers.

"What are you doing?"
Considering she'd been super immersed in color-changing, the greeting actually surprised her, but you couldn't possibly tell since she didn't react to it. There was an instant smile as she noticed Delilah in the room, "Hi, Delilah!" And... she was taking a break from color-changing (only she was all done in a second, really).
Hmmm... Coldplay and ABBA she wasn't really a fan of... but the rest was okay, and The Beatles was the best choice ever. It made her smile wider. And she almost pointed out the girl's good taste, or sort of good taste, when a question was asked. Nosy, but Lottie still answered. There was something about Delilah... it was strange, because Lottie would usually ignore questions, but she was willing to answer to the newcomer. Shocking. "I'm not exactly fond of yellow...," she was hoping Delilah wouldn't ask her why, "...so I decided to change it this year. I like silver, so...," makes total sense to personalize her side this way, especially since she didn't have any posters.
She did have a framed picture of her with her best friend, Alexa Cambridge. And the candle holder Kaiden gave her for Christmas, the pink one in the shape of a lotus. That was pretty. There was also a well-preserved cherry blossom on her table. Magic, you know?
"I particularly approve of The Beatles, by the way."Nod.

What she'd do to her bed? Elodie squinted a little and then shook her head. "Wouldn't touch your bed. It'd probably smell of you." Not that Olly had a BAD smell or anything. But Els wasn't going to risk covering her bed in teddies if they were going to be beheaded or returned with a different smell. Els liked her own smell. It was....normal? Would normal work? Normal worked, yes? Maybe. Hm. Olly's groan only made her laugh, and she went back to lying back down and wiggling her legs in the air. Perfect. Olly was getting the spoons in the morning.
BUT STANLEY. Why had she even thought Olly would stoop so low as to ever go back there? Seriously? She was smart enough. Elodie KNEW she was. But now she was incredibly DOOMED and was going to get into trouble and ugh why did she talk before she thought?! Els huffed, and covered her face momentarily with her arms, before kicking her legs a little bit harder, and obviously not in excitement. "He was just..there...and I was kinda cuddled up with him because I was crying and...well...I don't know. HE got super close and I had a LAPSE of broken hearted judgement! JUST A LAPSE!" Just a lapse. "Besides..he laughed at me because he didn't actually want to kiss me and was just being horrible." So there Olly had it. THERE Olly had it. Now she knew what had happened, and if she laughed...well Elodie was sure the first night back was suitable time to get smacked.
And she would.
Ugh. Even the memory of it made her feel a little bit sick. Her stomach knotted awfully and she shook her head. It wasn't like she'd LIKED him like Charlie had. She'd just...briefly considered using him as a rebound and decided against it almost immediately because he wasn't worthy of a Robertser. And she hadn't wanted to waste her time on someone she'd want to potentially kiss...but also bag his head. It was easier to not even consider it. Besides, Coul was back in her life, and he was so much hotter. And his breath was a million trillion times better. Girlfriend bias, of course.
Pushing Stanley out of her mind, Els focussed back on the colouring subject and nodded. "You promise? Promise it and I'll believe you." Pinky promises were preferable. "You guys don't seem the sort to have colouring time, anyway. Not at all. She's too...." Eh. "And you're...well you're you." Answered all the questions there. Covered all the answers. Wide spread confirmation. Of nothing.

What? It would smell like her? Olly shook her head slightly in confusion. "You do know you're IN my bed right now, yeah?" And? Did it smell like her? And was that a bad thing? Though she probably shouldn't complain seeing as that seemed to be the only reason why Elodie stayed away from her bed when she wasn't around. Though, the fact that her friend actually LAUGHED probably meant that she was not going to wake up normally tomorrow. Maybe she could slip Els a sleeping potion so she'd sleep longer than her.
Yes, still laughing by the way. And to think that Elodie was the one to blow her whistle at her at the party even though it had just been a GAME back then. Interesting. Also very amusing. "See, that's why I don't cuddle." Olly grinned broadly, though it faltered upon hearing how Stan had behaved. RUDE! That was not nice. Not at all nice of him. Actually, now a lot of things made sense. "I'm sure he DID want to kiss you." And yes, Olly had stopped laughing. Apparently her initial impression of Stan hadn't been wrong after all.
Olly frowned slightly at the thought. For a moment she'd honestly thought he wasn't all that bad...
Buuuuut onto more cheerful topics. For her anyway. Elodie looked oddly serious. ".........wait, you actually want me to PROMISE that?" Swear on her life or something? Okay, seriously, this was coloring books they were talking about. Not, say, sharing boyfriends or anything. Though the girl's next words made Olly grin slightly, for no apparent reason. "We're...what exactly?" Yes, honestly, she hadn't really considered spending time coloring in flowers in a coloring book with Schuyler but somehow she DID want to know what Elodie meant with her unfinished sentences.

She did have a framed picture of her with her best friend, Alexa Cambridge. And the candle holder Kaiden gave her for Christmas, the pink one in the shape of a lotus. That was pretty. There was also a well-preserved cherry blossom on her table. Magic, you know?
"I particularly approve of The Beatles, by the way."Nod.
... Lotus wasn't fond of yellow? That was a little funny considering she was Hufflepuff. Delilah DID love that colour, though. It was bright and cheerful, just like she was. Or, thought she was. "Well, silver is a nice colour too.. I suppose." Yeah, it was alright. Not as lovely as yellow but still cool.
Delilah stared at all the posters on her bed wondering if it was a bit much. Especially when she was sharing her dorm with someone.. who might not appreciate it. Yes. She was putting them up on her side of the dorm but still. Oh, well. She decided to put up the ones she loved the most and the rest were going back into her trunk. She picked up the huge The Beatles poster and looked at it with a smile. It was her first poster ever and her most favourite one.
"Really?" Delilah turned to look at her dorm-mate with a grin. "I absolutely love them."

How on earth was Bliss supposed to do this?
HOW?
She'd being pacing at the bottom of the stairs to the dorm for about ten minutes now. Someone was bound to have notice her anxiety, but no one came over to comfort her. That was probably for the best - if anyone spoke to her right now, she either bolt or somehow else get out of doing this. Why was it even so difficult? She was being pathetic about it, she knew that, but she was right to think that this could never end well.
One, Elodie hated her (almost definitely). Two, Elodie was her best friend and she'd essentially abandoned her, which was something a best friend she never, ever do. Lastly, she hadn't even left Els any sign that she was returning. She was a sucky friend and she knew it. She also knew that Elodie had a new dorm mate, meaning she did too. One that was now Elodie's best friend, instead of her, so most likely hated her too.
There was no doubt that there would be some sort of argument, but Bliss didn't WANT to argue, though she wasn't foolish enough to think that an argument could be avoided. Perhaps Elodie would have nothing to say to her. That would be just as bad, if not worse, than an argument. Bliss wanted to hear Elodie's voice again, even if the words she spoke were cruel. If an argument occurred, Bliss was nearly completely convinced that she would stay silent. She didn't have anything to defend herself with anyway.
Taking a deep breath, Bliss decided that enough was enough and all but ran up the stairs. Nearing the top, she slowed when she heard voices. They sounded so happy, making Bliss happy, yet sad because she was bound to be about to ruin that.
But it was too late to turn around now, she was already at the door.

Paired with a shrug, Elodie grinned. ”Lucky you.” It didn't really smell of her, though. Whatever. They'd only been back a few hours, so it wasn't going to smell like Olly. Unless she had been here over summer, and then..well then, Elodie was questioning Olly's real social ability. Who wanted to lock themselves away in a castle over the summer? Totes not Olly. No. The thought of it was ridiculous. ”It'll smell like you when you've slept in it.” Like tomorrow. After she'd been woken by spoons. Loud spoons. And singing. AHHHH.
She didn't even look at Olly whilst she'd talked about Stan, for the pure reason she didn't want to see her reaction on her face. Or acknowledge that she was even telling anyone about it, because..on one hand she was happy that it hadn't happened. But on the other..well, she wasn't all peachy about the whole 'rejection' thing. No one rejected her. Who would? He was obviously crazy, of course. But still..... Now Olly knew, and Els wasn't yet sure if she'd pass the word on, but she hoped she didn't. For her sake. Someone else knowing could just...ruin things. It hadn't meant enough for her to even tell Coul. Which, she supposed she should have. ”Ofcoursehedid.” Yes, yeah. Of course.
Did she actually want her to promise it? Did she look like someone who asked for promises but didn't really want them? ”Yes. I want you to promise it.” She wanted her to promise it and stick by her promise. Because that's what friends did. She'd looked up at the other Hufflepuff now, and caught her grin, and was about to say something and tell Olly she was strange, when their dorm door opened, and Elodie finally properly took in that third trunk in there.
And then the person.
She hadn't felt this sick when talking about Stan. She hadn't felt this angry when she'd punched her brother. What a welcome back this was. Bliss. But it didn't FEEL it Bliss. It was Bliss. And this was potentially the worst news anyone could have given her. Scrambling off of Olly's bed, Elodie moved herself into the middle of the room and watchec the other girl. ”You...” she tightened her fist at her side and scowled, ”aren't welcome here.” One step. One step and she would do it.
Lucky her? Olly gave her a slightly confused grin, cocking her head to the side, watching Elodie. What? She was lucky to have her in her bed? What? "Lucky you." Was all she said in reply. Because Olly allowed the other girl to BE in her bed in the first place. Somehow with Els she'd just stopped saying 'no' though to most things. It was a lot easier that way and most of the time her requests weren't that...bad.
Olly was still trying to wrap her head around the image of Elodie with Stan. Like, no, just no. That was...actually now that she got to think of it, she couldn't really picture Elodie with anyone BUT Coulson. And especially not Stan. That was just...weird. No. Nope. Which was why she was going to drop the subject now. It had stopped being funny too. And Elodie clearly wasn't too keen on discussing this any further either. So...that was it. For now.
Wow. Okay. Elodie WAS actually serious about that. "Oookay. I promise not to share our coloring books with Schuyler."Cross my heart and all that. Though, since they were on-topic. "Actually, I need to tell you something." It was relevant because she was her dormmate and, well, she had to know about things. "Right, so-"
..................if anyone had THE WORST TIMING EVER then it was this girl. This girl who'd just opened the door.
Olly turned to glare at her JUST because she'd interrupted a very important piece of information she was about to share with Elodie. Though, apparently she wasn't the only one not pleased with the new girl's arrival. Wait, what was she doing here anyway? "You got the wrong dorm." Wow, Elodie though. She...just...Olly stared at her friend, turning around on the bed so she could see all the things properly. Wait, had she missed something there?
Not that she didn't agree. The girl was definitely NOT welcome here. This was their dorm.
Bri arrived at the 1st year girls Dormitory, and it looked like she was the first one there. She found her trunk in front of the bed that will be her own. She smiled as she glanced around the room, smiling. It was a pretty room. She turned back to her trunk and decided to make her little area...hers. She pulled out a framed picture that had her parents, her brothers and Bri standing in front of a lake they visit a few weeks before she found out she was a witch. The brunette placed gently on the night stand next to her bed. She then pulled out a rainbow colored blanket that was home made. She knew she was a little old to be carrying around a blanket, but it was the last thing her grandmother made for her before she passed away 3 years ago. Bri sighed a little sadly before placing it on the foot of the bed, before returning to her trunk

Bliss had expected this, or something similar to this.
So, she really wasn't all that surprised at Elodie and co.'s reaction. That didn't mean she knew what to say, though. Of course she didn't. Part of her wanted to beg for forgiveness and say the petty word 'sorry' repeatedly, but she knew that wouldn't help. That would only make Elodie hate her more, if that was possible. Judging by Elodie's leap into action, it may not be. Bliss took a cautious step forward, then back, then forward again. "Hi," was the only word to come out of her mouth to begin with, then more followed.
First things first, she needed to do something, even if neither of them appreciated it. "Thank you for looking after Elodie," she said, looking straight at Els' best friend. "I know I suck, you don't need to tell me. Feel free to do so if you want to, though. Or you can do whatever you want. Whatever makes this easier." Yes. This. THEIR dorm. Because she was not leaving. "I've not got the wrong dorm, my things are right there," she added, pointing to where her trunk was. How they'd failed to notice that, she didn't know.
"I have nowhere else to go," she pointed out. Not for sympathy, but for logical reasons. They couldn't expect her to sleep in the common room. Perhaps that's what she deserved, but it was impractical. One last thing. "Believe it or not, I missed you and I am ... I'm sorry. I don't care if you won't have it. It's true and I needed to say it."

Lucky HER? Oh. Oh. Els gave Olly a look and shook her head. "Lucky if we're talking about Coul." Lucky, lucky, lucky. Olly couldn't dare disagree either. Nope. No way. And if she did...well Elodie was probably just going to tug on her hair or something and scowl. Maybe not her hair, though. That would hurt and Elodie really didn't want to go to so much effort as to maybe make Olly cry. Did Olly cry? She didn't look like a cryer. But hair pulling really was painful. She knew that for sure. The kids.
With the promise, Els grinned and twirled her hair around her finger. "You can teach her to make paper chains, though. And what colours go with what moods." Or was it just Elodie who changed the colour when her moods changed? That was probably just force of habit with not telling people how she was specifically feeling, and just venting it into colours of things. Probably. Maybe. It was debatable. Leaning back up, Elodie squinted at Olly. She had something to tell her? SECRETS? Was it good news? Was it bad news? Was Olly going to really need her hair pulling to knock some sense into her?!
Of course, Olly's news was quickly out of her mind when she reached the floor and was standing before her ex best friend. She'd taken a step forward...and then back..and then...forward again, which only forced her fists tighter and she huffed, before looking back at Olly as she spoke too. "Exactly." They didn't want a new person in here. Who cared if her things were here? "The first years will take you. You haven't been awful to them before." Not that Elodie was even wishing the feelings she'd gone through on someone else. It hadn't been fun, and it hadn't came at a time where everything else was going okay either. In fact, it had all came about at the worst time, and it had only gotten worse since then.
She was intending on being as annoying as she could whilst Bliss talked, including rolling her eyes and mimicking her without making a noise. It was all words. It was all words that Elodie had heard before. All words that she didn't have room in her heart for. And they'd all come from the same person. So, so over it. "I didn't miss you." That was a lie. Such a lie that it had gotten stuck in her throat for a moment, but she'd gotten herself back to the right head space. The one who didn't want this anymore. Elodie was happy now. Happier than she had been.
"And I can look after myself." She didn't need Olly around. She liked having her around, sure. But she didn't need her. And for proof, she swung for Bliss with her fist. Completely over defending herself with squirting water out of bottles.
Olly moved to the end of her bed and sat cross-legged, watching the two girls. Huh. Seriously, she WAS missing something there. This wasn't just 'normal'-hostile-Els. This was more than that somehow. Interesting. Her eyes briefly scanned the room when the new girl said something about her things being there. Oh. Yeah, actually she was right. "They can be moved elsewhere." Like, say, the first years' dorm like Elodie had just suggested.
With a rather incredulous and surprised look on her face Olly turned to face the new girl again. She was thanking her? For looking after Els? What was Elodie, a dog? Olly frowned at the way the new girl had phrased the sentence, nodding when the Hufflepuff in question pointed out that she could look after herself. That, yeah. If she didn't then they'd have had much bigger problems than the occasional row over spoons and studying.
Not that she said any of that out loud. Somehow she wasn't really part of the conversation anymore. Not that Olly minded. One last question, then they could go back to doing their thing. "Who are you?" Because seriously, Elodie clearly knew her and she hadn't been around last year and it was very confusing and despite herself, Olly WAS in fact slightly intrigued.
Especially when Elodie actually threw a punch at the other girl. Wow.
Not that Olly moved or anything. She was just going to sit here and watch. For now.

"Really?" Delilah turned to look at her dorm-mate with a grin. "I absolutely love them."
Nope, no yellow. Ever. In all fairness, this fear of the color yellow was something she hadn't realized she had until she faced that boggart. And it wasn't because of the color, just being trapped in a room/box/whatever colored yellow. Which was kind of how she'd felt from the moment the Sorting Hat made a mistake. But she'd managed to fight the boggart... but then detention came. And crying happened. With Airey, but still. So, no, she isn't fond of yellow. Yellow is not cheerful, it's cautious. Lottie smiled at Delilah, though, "It's nice. I also like pink. Bright pink. Like my pygmy puff." She pointed to the fluff ball close by. Magenta. The pygmy puff was magenta, and that was also the name.
She could've left all the posters she wanted in there, Lottie didn't mind. But The Beatles, always a must. Even if Lottie had no posters. Delilah could use all the walls. Pretty sure the entire floor will be covered in books by the time 'getting ready for OWLs' comes around.
REALLY! This girl beamed. "Yup! I've been listening to them since forever. Not lying, their music was most likely the first I heard." Perks of having an uncle who loves The Beatles too? Probably. "One day I'll learn to play one of their songs." Or two, because it was so difficult to have favorites, particularly when it came to The Beatles. Like, how do you choose ONE song??

Delilah nodded. Yeah, not many people liked yellow. But, she did because yellow made her think of happy things.. made her think of SUMMER. Also, she looked good in yellow. Oh, yeah. Bright pink was a nice colour too! She liked light!pink more, though. Her blue-grey eyes turned to look at her friend's pygmy puff, the brightest smile on her face. She loved pygmy puffs so much.. She was definitely going to get one someday. Lola seemed to like Magenta, too. Which was awesome. "Do you have any other pets at home?" Speaking of pets, where was Lola? Hm. Probably lurking around somewhere.
Delilah continued sorting through her posters. "Me too! My parents love the classics and yeah, I've practically grown up listening to them." And a million other bands. But, The Beatles was her favourite. "Yeah, I really want to learn to play a couple of Fleetwood Mac songs too. It's going to take a lot of practice but I think it'll be worth it.."
