Realistically, Elodie would have been cool without the train happening and just being collected from the village by one of her siblings and just taken home. At this point, she was over the idea of boarding school. She was over leaving home all the time and she was definitely over the fact that in a year she could be in the position where she'd have to make decisions about boyfriend things and that whole year APART.
But more so, right now, she wanted to get the heck home.
And cuddle with her nephew and go camping and ago away with Catty for a few days. And uh, just sleep. She chose herself a compartment away from eager students, first years, and sat on her own, feet perched on the seat opposite as she looked out of the window.
Summer was in the air. Abbi could smell it! Mhmm! But that wouldn't stop her from wearing what she pleased and if that meant wearing a winter beanie whilst the sun boiled you then so be it, because that's exactly what Abbi did.
With her owl hat perfectly placed on her head, the little fairy picked up her travelling bag and headed away from the luggage compartment where the rest of her things were. Her cat,Whiskers. followed behind eagerly and in no time they were close to the middle cars. It was here Abbi most like to sit, here or the front that was, but here for today.
Peeking here and there, the search for a good compartment began and it was then Abbi saw Elodie, the girl who totally gave Donny cooties. But hey she was still nice and Abbi still liked her.
"Heeellloooo." The cheerful voice whooshed through the compartment as she opened the door and took a seat. Whiskers followed and plonked beside his own, purring about.
Elodie didn't mind right? Right? Huge beams for her!

With her own cat taking a nice little break from her, she could settle for Abbi's cat, who was definitely cuddly and it hadn't squirmed in her arms yet, so all was well.

She was a clever child after all...kinda.
"I have to throw away the wings we made." There was a huge sadface there because they were so, so pretty. With glitter, and her name and much better than anything Joszu,a the minus infinity point earner, could make.

Abbi watched as Elodie picked up Whiskers in her arms. He was good with most people and so he was fine with Elodie now. In fact he was purring as if to be the happiest cat to be. "Don't give him cooties!" She giggled. It was a joke with slight truth in the matter too.

She could have been studying then, but she'd wanted to help the younger girl, and make sure those wings looked remotely decent.

BUT NOW THEY WERE BEING THROWN AWAY -.-
Cooties? It took Elodie a moment to realise what Abbi was getting at, and just to prove a point, Els kissed the top of the cats head and then grinned. "I don't have cooties." Which was something Abbi really needed to get over, because Elodie had a boyfriend and she couldn't keep explaining why she needed to kiss Donny on the cheek to prove things. Even though the other Hufflepuff was potentially the cutest little thing in the world. Potentially. Radley was cuter.
Brodie chose a compartment and gave a weak smile, The last time... He shook his head fighting that sadness away again and sat down, He looked around the small room and chuckled, normally he'd want nothing more than to be left alone but now... Right now he wanted nothing more than to have someone to talk to. Hear their memories of their year, and for him to share his few experiences he'd had. Of course, he didn't really have that many... He looked out the window and sighed, Won't be long now... I'll be home telling Syd and Sam about this wonderful place. He smiled thinking about his baby brother and sister, picturing them coming here to Hogwarts when they came of age. Making friends, having fun... More than likely finding their first love and he, Sam, and their father would have to strike fear into the poor lad that Sydney brought home one summer... He chuckled and shook his head, "I'm going to miss you Hogwarts..."

Caterina may or may not have tugged the boy through the train, waiting until she found the perfect compartment. She also may have been toting around a bag full of edible items. Train rides obviously required treats.
"See? I told you we could find an empty compartment." She grinned triumphantly at Mo and nudged the door open, then proceeded to tug him inside. "There." She let go. "Is your arm in one piece?" Hmm? She poked it, just to be sure. POKE.

She picked it up and started to unwrap it. "I'm being very social, with you and this sugar quill." Two of her favorite things, really. "Besides, we'll have loads of people to be social with over the summer."
One year down, SIX TO GO. Sophie felt really good and content about where she was in her Hogwarts progress. She felt like she knew a whole lot and was completely on top of things as exams had gone well and she had been involved in lots of things and school was FUN. She had friends - albeit all older ones as she didn't like any of the other first years - and hoped to see some over the summer, though she hadn't made plans for that yet. But there was still time. Things were GOOD.
But where WERE those friends?
Sophie made her trek down the corridor, peering into each compartment as she passed - then she did a double-take. There was Cat, perched atop Mo's stomach all by themselves in a compartment and it looked like a pinata had exploded all over the Ravenclaw Quidditch Captain. Trying to suppress a grin, Sophie slid open the compartment door and told them seriously, "You two look like you need some time alone so I'm not gonna stay, but leave some sweets for me, 'kay? Y'know what I like. I'll be back later." Upon offering them a suggestive, exaggerated wink, she slid the door closed, not waiting for a reply before heading further down the corridor, curious to see who else was in the general vicinity.
She didn't get far, though, as she found an older boy by himself in the next compartment over. Sophie recognized him - a Hufflepuff, she thought, and she knew he was an upperclassman. She wasn't sure if he was a sixth or seventh year, but judging from the level of sadness emitting from him, Sophie had a feeling this was it for him. His last train ride. And he... was by himself. Did he want it to be that way? Shouldn't it be a celebration? "Oi," Sophie greeted upon opening the compartment door, helping herself to the seat across from him. "You don't look so good. Need a hug? Or some Droobles?" She pulled the pack of bubble gum from her pocket and extended it to him. "Or d'you want me to go track down one of your friends for ya or sing you a song or d'you like pygmy puffs?" She reached her other hand into her cardigan pocket and pulled out a purple pygmy puff. "His name is Jazz and he'll cuddle you if you want that."
After a beat, Sophie peered between the extended Droobles and the pygmy puff and inquired simply, "You've graduated now, haven't you? This is it? The last train ride? Onto bigger and better things?"

Oh no she didn't! Oh yes she did! SASSSYYYYY! Abbi blinked as Elodie gave him a kiss. "Pffftt. Cats don't get cooties anyways." Nobody really did, but deep down Abbi knew exactly why she made herself believe in cooties so much. She had her reasons okay?Nobody needed to know them..not yet anyways.
But FOOD! Much better thing to talk about. "Mhhhm. I got chocolates and pumpkin pasties and sugar quills and good stuff. You want something?" More beaaams for Elodie!

He nodded and looked at the cute little puff, "Well, he's cute." The eighteen year smiled at her.

He'd be with Ella, she assumed, and thus they would be surrounded by a crowd of people, certainly. "We can go find 'em, if you want - they're your friends and you're leaving them, why would you bug them? I'm sure they're out and about looking for you, actually, or waiting for you to join them in a compartment and wondering where you're at. Nice to finally place the face with the name. Even if it's kinda too late and you're leaving now."
Watching his brother and sister? What kind of post-Hogwarts plans were those? "A Daily Prophet internship would be cool. What would you be doing for that, d'you know? Or did you apply for a whole bunch of things?" She didn't really know how any of that worked, but she was interested nonetheless. "Is that what you want to do for the future? For a profession and stuff? Work for the Daily Prophet?" Or did he not know...?
She couldn't imagine not knowing as a graduating seventh year, though, especially since she already knew what she wanted to do in the future before she even came to Hogwarts. The idea of not having a game plan made her nervous and a little queasy, and that might have shown on her face a bit as she awaited Brodie's reply with genuine curiosity.

"Merlin, Ca-," he began before a blood pop slid across his cheek and into his mouth, nearly choking him to death. And it tasted so bad. Help help help helphelphelp. Death by blood pop!

He nodded to her question, “Yeah, that’d be the one.” He nodded understanding, “She’s normally in the back of the train, so she might be there.” But with Minnie he paused, she’d probably be in the prefects compartments and he didn’t want to bother her in her last moments with her close friends where he was just an acquaintance. “I mean… Of course I’d like to see everyone before I leave for my final time but, I’m sure there’s others they’d rather see and hug and spend time with.” It kinda made sense to him. Alec and him were friends but they weren’t all that close, Taylor and him still seemed strained at times being exes, and Minnie had only just started to get along with him. He nodded though to what she said, agreeing somewhat, as much as it was their last time to see their other friends, it was his last time to see them as well so… He mentally shrugged, it was worth a shot at least, yeah? And if they didn’t want him around they could just shoo him away and he’d understand, “But sure… I would like to at least try to talk to them a little bit.”
He nodded to what she said and gave a small smile as he shook her hand, “Nice to meet you… A little too late in the year, but oh well… Better to meet more people now then never I suppose.” He gave a small nod.
“I’m not really sure what the job calls for quite honestly… I mean, I don’t have enough money to go to uni, so I’m just trying to find something I like and could try to find a job in easily.” He nodded and then shrugged, “I applied at the main three in Diagon… Obviously the Daily Profit, Gringotts, and the Owl Post office. And I got lucky enough to get one of them.” He looked at her and shrugged again, “I really don’t know what I want to do… Or rather, what I want to do that could turn a profit… I mean, I write music, and I’m an artist, play the drums in my mates band, and I’m currently learning guitar… but none of those really work well with finding a permanent well-paying job.” And that was his main concern at the moment, so he could find a place of his own.
He looked at her, that all made sense didn’t it? It did to him but he never knew, most people found the way he thought odd… So he wouldn’t be offended if she did find it strange.

Cat paused in her search to glance up when someone addressed them. Not only just someone, but the best someone there was. And LOOK at that wink. WHAT WAS THAT? Cat laughed and attempted to throw a cockroach cluster (ewww why was that in her bag?) at the kid, but she was already gone. That Sophie. Guh. She adored that kid.

And then she was just casually sitting on her boyfriend as he choked. No big deal, right? Cat squeaked and retrieved the blood pop (also ewww, how did these things get in her bag of treats?!) from Mo's esophagus before he could up and die on her or something. She needed him to be alive and all. Alive boyfriend.
"Sorry." She made all sorts of frowny faces at him before nudging the candy off of his face. "You're okay?" She slid off of him so he could like breathe properly and all.

Mo sat up and pulled Cat in again a little too tightly, holding on to her as if she was the one who had just been choking on a lollipop. He would have missed her if he died was all. No big deal.
"Let's try not to die until at least the end of the summer, okay? I have plans... my big show, my birthday, Quidditch tryouts." He gave her hair a tug to let her know that he was just fine now. All better.

And if she really didn't want the wings, then Elodie would have them and change them and give them to someone who actually wanted them.
Someone who would appreciate the time and effort and glitter and stars and GLITTER.
Part of her wanted to make a comment to the first year about how stupid it was to keep on with this cootie thing, but she didn't. Mainly because the cat in her lap was cuddly and Elodie really liked it. But it wasn't Gemini, because it didn't give kisses back. "Neither do Donnys." THERE was the comment. WOAH.
