| | Luggage Compartment The Hogwarts Express DOES have a place for all your things, you know, so you don't have to drag them into an already-crowded compartment. Store your school trunk, your broom, your owl, and whatever else you brought with you to school in this, the caboose of the train.
Then scoot scoot to another compartment. This one's taken by the trunks. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Leah Abbott Fifth Year | anyone~ ^v^ please don't let me be miunderstood It was no hard job for Leah to get her trunk, owl cage and kneazle carrier on the train. She was a strong girl and she had carried more heavier stuff before.
The first compartment she encountered once on the train was the Luggage Compartment. It was empty, no luggage, no human. She wondered if this was the right place to store her luggage. Anyway, the girl pushed her trunk into a corner of the compartment and placed it there with her owl cage on top of it. "Sorry, Horatio, but I think you'll have to stay in here during the trip."
Leah was on her way to the doorway when she realized that if she left her trunk there all the way through the trip with her money and cards and all that, she won't be able to take them out. So she made her way back to the corner and rummaged in her trunk, taking out all necessary things. |

Christmas pulled her trunk into the luggage compartment and lifted it up onto a shelf and placed her owl cage beside it and put her shoulder bag over her shoulder and made her way to find a empty compartment

Bri Walked into the Luggage compartment to drop of her heavy trunk. She was glad she didn't have to carry the everything while she went to find a place to seat. She was slightly less happy to leave her beautiful Snowy Owl, Mystic, but she did.
"Bye Mystic" She said softly to her feathery friend, "I will see you later."

Caelen was thankful to whoever designed the train to have a luggage compartment. Because luggage was not fun to carry around. Not that she needed it -yes she did-. She just needed to pull a few things from the bag first. A few things that she couldn't part with. She was afterall, a packrat and a packrat did what a packrat does.
She sat down for a second, put her suitcase on her lap and opened her suitcases quickly, excited to find a compartment and get the train ride stated. Because she was actually going to Hogwarts!
What did the eleven year old need? Well, her journal. Why? She loved sketching people she saw and writing about them. Maybe it was so she could understand humans better, or maybe it was a trait her aunt gave, but it was an obsession since she was eight. She even made stories about them sometimes.
Once she got everything out, Caelen closed her suitcases and tried to put them up on the shelf with some others. But this didn't work too well. Maybe because she was five feet tall barely or maybe it was because she couldn't see the shelf well with the suitcase blocking her vision, but she had to catch it and try again. Twice.
"Come on, you stupid luggage." She jumped a couple of times and ended up getting everything up on the shelf. Thank goodness too, because she was losing patience and fast. Taking a deep breath, she smiled and walked out of the compartment, ready to find one to actually sit in.

So she made her way back to the corner and rummaged in her trunk, taking out all necessary things. Sophie was no fool. Even though she'd seen the bigger kids toss their trunks up on the rack above the seats in the compartments, she wasn't going to do that. Not because she couldn't get it up there - even though she probably couldn't - but moreso because she... couldn't get it up there, yeah. Heavy trunk. Small child. Hard life.
So here she was, dragging her big ol' trunk to the luggage compartment, her pygmy puff, Jazz, on one shoulder and her broom in a protective case over her other shoulder. Just... for security purposes and stuff because she WAS FINALLY ALLOWED TO HAVE A BROOM AT SCHOOL. HER OWN BROOM. She couldn't wait to show Mo(and the rest of the team), so she considered keeping it over her shoulder and racing up and down the corridors to find the Ravenclaw Captain, but that could wait.
For now, Sophie scooted her trunk and nestled it as far into the corner of the compartment as possible so it was out of the way. There was already another girl there, though, who looked to be around her own age, digging through an open suitcase like she'd lost something or maybe worried that she had forgotten something back at home? But she was taking stuff out, so maybe she was looking for entertainment for the long train ride. Hm. Sophie stood her broom up against the wall next to her trunk and remarked conversationally, "Y'must be new here, yeah? I don't recall seeing you around last term. You a first year?" Or perhaps a second year transfer student, maybe even a very small third year transfer who hadn't hit any sort of growth spurt yet? Unlikely, Sophie decided, but she found herself hoping it was a new first year. New friend material. Maybe even new Ravenclaw material.
The idea was so exciting, the second year started to bounce a little in excitement, anxiously awaiting the answer.

*Pulling along his trolley to the luggage compartment Romulus loaded his new school things on to the train. His trunk of clothes, broom stick, and other personal things were already in Hogsmeade at his cousin Cece's house. After almost an entire summer with his grandparents, Romulus begged his cousin for her to let him stay with her the last week of summer holiday. Thankfully Cece said yes. So he would just pick up his things on the way up to school.*
"There, that should do it then."

The idea was so exciting, the second year started to bounce a little in excitement, anxiously awaiting the answer. Leah looked up abruptly to find a girl standing in front of her. She had a nice broom standing beside her and a pygmy puff on her shoulder. Completely cool. Leah herself however, looked really weird with her robes in one hand and her kneazle carrier in the other. The girl stood up awkwardly and tried to hold out a hand but failed, both her hands were full. "Yes, I am a first year. I look like one too, don't I?" She answered. "My name's Leah. You?" Leah asked. She was getting quite tired of saying this again and again, but making friends are good. She guessed the girl was not a first year, with her own broom and all that. |

Helped by her father, Hawthorne went from emerging on platform 9 3/4 straight to the luggage compartment. It already had many trunks and cages with owls, a few students were milling about squaring things away. Once her trunk was squared away she opened up her toad carrier and pulled Timothy out and place him on her shoulder. He was a lazy toad, really, and since she got him had never left her side.
Hawthorne finally got to get a good look around and found a familiar face. "LEAH!" she said and hopped over to the girl, who was talking to someone who couldn't have been that much older then the two of them.

"How was your summer? Are you excited for school?" She asked, pretty excited herself. "Hi, Timothy." She said to the toad. "Uh, this is Hawthorne, she's a first year too." Leah added to the other girl. |

A first year. Wonderful. She bounced even more despite her attempts to contain her excitement, "Nah, you don't wreak of firstie." Her tone and expression was teasing, as if to say, don't worry, there's no such thing as a first year stench. "I'm a second year, so I know all about how you're feeling right now, I'd imagine. A bit of nerves, a bit of excitement, a whole lotta confusion and dodging of big kids who don't know how to politely move about the shaky train. I was lucky to have a heads up on that kinda stuff, though, 'cause my family's pureblood and we've gone to Hogwarts forever. I got a good prep before the train took off." Pause. "Sophie Brown, by the way. Ravenclaw. I'm a Chaser on the Quidditch team, in the Gobstones Club, and I'll try pretty much anything once before deciding I don't like it. I'd recommend you do the same, if you have your courage, because that's how you meet all sorts of really fun people and everyone'll know you, too!" Quote:

Though she might have kept going with her spiel about Hogwarts that Leah didn't even ask for, it seemed that the new first year had already done a swell job of making friends. Or one friend, at least, and Sophie took a step aside to let the two greet each other. "Pleasure to meetcha, Hawthorne - I'm Sophie. Cool toad."

"There, that should do it then." Why. Wasn't. Anyone helping her!?
Sure, Rhodes was more than capable of pulling her own luggage into the luggage compartment, after all, it wasn't that heavy thanks to the charms her Grandmother had placed on it, and she had managed to drag it all the way onto the platform herself. But she just didn't want to do it. It was too much work, and took too much effort. And there were other people on the train. They should've just done it for her.
She probably shouldn't have ditched weird accent boy Mitchie after him and that non-human girl Lana ran onto the platform. He seemed like the type of boy who would've carried her luggage for her. Without her even needing to ask him.
Sigh.
Or maybe not. Rhodes pulled her trunk to a stop once she was standing in front of the compartment and spotted a different boy who had just finished putting his own stuff away. She made sure to push her trunk over, so it made a loud enough noise to get his attention, before dramatically flopping herself, stomach first, on top of it. "I am sooooo exhausted!" Was he looking? "I wish there was someone to put my stuff away for meeeee." Was he looking now?

It may have taken her three trips to get her trunk and her extra bags onto the train, but Charlie wasn't complaining that much. There was no way she was leaving anything she'd gotten this summer behind, and with her father not there to perform an extension charm...
Well, drastic measures had been take. After tying the last of her bags together - something she was not sure was sensible: although they wouldn't get separated, if one went missing, they all would - the blonde pushed her hair out of her eyes and stood back to get a good view of her handiwork.
Phew.
She just hoped she didn't have an emergency and need to use her wand - she had no idea where that was.

Phew.
She just hoped she didn't have an emergency and need to use her wand - she had no idea where that was. The fact was, Elodie had left her trunk packed all summer in case she was forced to move in with her sister. Which she had been. So all was good. Truth was, though, she had no clue what was packed in it or if things would still look okay on her after growing two inches.
But it was okay though. She had other places to stay when she was at "home" now. T's, Catty's, Coul's. See, places. Enough of thinking of home though, she generally wanted to hide out here with Gemini and eat the sandwiches and cake in her bag. Maybe even get out Gavin the panda bear and tell him things. Maybe even her diary too.
......... "You know you're going home for Christmas, right?" Could Charlie see her? She didn't blend in really so uh... she peeked her head a little higher from her perch on someone elses trunk.
Hey Choo.

Hey Choo. At the sound of a voice, Charlies' head flew up and back, a crack sounding as she hit it on the door frame she'd been stood it. As she moved her hand up to rub the lump that was already forming in amongst her hair - and wincing as she touched it - she forced her heart rate to slow down.
So what if she'd thought that this place was empty of people.
It was a big room, packed with hiding places, and she recognised the voice. There wasn't anything to be scared of, really. When she realised that, she cursed herself for being so shocked, and for gaining PRACTICALLY a concussion. Biting at her lip, she finally spotted Elodies head peeking out from behind a trunk, and frowned a little. "I'm... I'm not. Costs too much." Flights-wise, anyway, and there was no way she was planning on going to her fathers.

"On the plus side...maybe that whole boy problem will fix itself?" Okay, maybe that was a little low. But she still giggled, and came out of her hiding spot to check her friends head. Just in case there was blood. She was good at cleaning blood, even though it knocked her a little sick in excess.
The head problem was forgotten though, because Charlie had spoken again and Els was in tantrum mode. She stomped one of her feet, folded her arms and shook her head. "NOPE." Nope nope NOPE. Charlotta Czesanka! "What if you're on your OWN?! You can't be on your OWN for Christmas!!!"
THAT WOULD BE A TRAVESTY.

THAT WOULD BE A TRAVESTY. "ELODIE."
Charlie couldn't help but mimic her friends cry, and giggled a little at her next comment - surely, it was meant without malice. "That would be just wonderful." But you know, maybe it had been sorted. At least Tristan paid attention to her, and wanted to see her, and had a great time with her. She'd barely heard from Stan.
Although that was probably partly her fault. Not like she'd made an effort. BUT this wasn't the time. No, and Charlie shook the thoughts from her mind, and focused on how good her summer had been and how great it was to see Elodie again. And just to be going back to Hogwarts. Even if that meant she couldn't see Tristan. "I... I'm sure I won't be. There's usually some people around. And I... I don't mind."
Little white lies.

Little white lies. "CHARLIE!" Were they going to keep this up much longer? Elodie was all for people shouting her name, because her name was pretty awesome. But really...she was already bored of being shouty and loud and names were so overused. Choo, was much better. Choo, choo, choo. Choo choo train. All aboard. HEY THEY WERE ON A TRAIN RIGHT NOW.
She grinned. "It'll knock some sense into you." Not that she really needed it, but Choo knew Elodie's thoughts on the situation. Or..situations. And she was totally getting a grilling about things later, because Els wanted all the details because other people were keeping tight lipped and it wasn't fair.
Els let Gem sit on Charlie's feet and she shook her head some more. "You're being ridiculous. If you're staying. I'm staying."

*Hearing a loud sound Romulus spun around to see a very over dramatic scene in front of him. Was this girl serious? It took everything in him to not roll his eyes. Letting out a deep sigh he went over and tried to give the tired trunk girl a hand.*
"Here, let me help. It would be so much easier if they let us do magic outside of school wouldn't it."
*Helping the girl up he then took hold of the trunk and loaded it onto the train. Merlin's pink pants it was heavy! What could possibly be in here that could be so heavy. With a few grunts and shoves Rom finally got the trunk into the train.*
"Ah... there you go. Anything else?"
* Please say no... I couldn't lift another trunk that held what felt like a muggle car in it.* |

Ian finished dragging his final trunk into the luggage compartment. He finally placed it with the rest of his items and just then felt the pangs of hunger. He recalled he'd not eaten since he and his father had departed their home in Northern Scotland this morning. He supposed it was time to go get something to eat. He turned and headed toward the food.

Having left Taylor behind since she wasn't returning to Hogwarts, Lily pushed her trolley over to the luggage car, leaving it behind for a moment to slide her trunk up into the car. She climbed up after it and placed it in the pile of other luggage before slipping out of the car just as quietly as she came in, returning her trolley and lugging her owl and broom to a car further down the train. No way was she leaving her owl or broom alone in the luggage car where either could be damaged...

Okay he had had enough. ENOUGH of the boring train. It was just making him go insane. He moved back to his trunk in the luggage compartment to pull out some supplies to make things more interesting. He had to make this place more interesting, but he wasn't sure exactly in his trunk what he had that could possible make things more fun.
Not paying attention he grabbed the wrong trunk and it was unlocked just like his own so swinging it open he blinked down in it. "This isn't mine." He picked up a bra looking at it. Clearly he wouldn't have be wearing something like this, but an idea hit him. He looking into the trunk and then moved to his own. Pulling out string that he had brought with him he tied it to one side of the compartment and then moved it out the door wedging it so it would stay at the window in the corridor.
Going back to the trunk that wasn't his he pulled out all the undergarments he could find in the trunk. He opened the owner wouldn't mind a bit of a messier trunk, but hey it was unlocked. Swinging the bra's and underwear across the string going out the corridor he laughed. Now this was interesting for other students to find.
He wondered if any other trunks were open that he could use to decorate... hmmm

Annabel walked into the luggage compartment to put down her large trunk and owl cage. She then picked up her cat's cage and made her way to find a spot to sit.

Aw, Hogwarts. Tallulah was so indescribably excited to be going back, even though it meant saying goodbye to her friends at home again. She and her parents had gotten to the station early and hadn't bumped into Fern yet, but Tallulah decided she'd find Fern on the train somewhere. Not that Fern would mind that much.
Something 'Lulah had realised over the summer, however, was that Fern - as peculiar as she is - did a MUCH better job at finding friends last year than she did. Tallulah supposed it was because she felt like she had a lot to catch up on - and that didn't include people - that Fern didn't, because Fern was going to find these things at the right pace, like all the other kids at Hogwarts.
She hummed to herself, mulling over her thoughts as she pulled her trunk into the luggage truck. Keeping Gus' (who was possibly the UGLIEST pygmy puff ever) travel cage to one side, Tallulah oh-so-carefully shoved her trunk into an empty space.
Eh, there. That'll do. The trunk to the left only has a little scratch from the buckle on hers.
Now... Friends. Those are things that you're supposed to have at school as well as at home, and finding some good ones this year was important. Yup. |
