After a long hard day of hunting, and lessons, or even just a busy weekend, your dormitories will be your haven. It will be more than just your home away from home, and it is the place where you can come and relax after a long day or a late night.
The four poster beds are surprisingly comfortable, and it's easy to get lost in the smoothfaded red velvet covers. Should you want some privacy from your chatty dorm mates, feel free to close the hangings around you and lose yourself in sleep.
Back at Hogwarts. Seventh year meant NEWTs and that meant that she had a lot to study. The Gryffindor was dusting off the textbooks on her trunk and laying them out. She had figure out how she wanted to organize them and when to study for which. Stacking a few textbooks on the table near her desk, Melanie hummed a tune to herself. She put the rest of her textbooks under her bed.
She didn't need to study them all at once. She had months. Melanie wasn't sure why she was even worrying about the NEWTs when she was going to be a famous singer. But since her mom and dad both wanted her to do well in school first, she figured there was nothing wrong with trying to get all outstandings... right?
Still humming a song, Melanie pet Ray the teddy bear's head and placed him on the table next to her textbooks. Something happy looking to make the textbooks look less... boring. Then the Gryffindor flopped on her bed and placed her pillow over her head. NEWTs.
Months away... but already trying to eat her brain away.

The sugar from all the desserts Tessa had consumed at the Feast were in full kicking mode. The tiny eleven year old blonde burst into the Gryffindor girls dormitory with a smile. "HOGWARTS, I'M HOME!" She called at the top of her voice before she started dancing about the room.
"So much to see! So many people to meet! So much to do! Where will I begin?" Tessa rambled loudly as she continued to dance around. Her dancing finally came to an end when she found her bed.
Before jumping onto her bed, the blonde kicked her shoes off. "I can't wait for classes to start!" Tessa exclaimed as she began to jump on her bed.

Before she heard someone bustling around in her dorm, Alice had been sorting things out underneath her four poster. Boxes went there.. books went there.. books. She'd heard that the library had a turnstile now, and quite frankly wasn't too eager to see for herself. But the sixth year was quite thankful that she had some reading material to keep that active brain of hers occupied before she had to cough up more sickles.
Or maybe she'd just nick Dora's books. And Mo's. Better plan than wasting pocket money.
When the humming reached her ears, the sixth year quietly ventured out from under her bed, taking with her the psychology book that Kalla had given her. Number one book on her list. Alice had already skimmed the first few pages or so and was already intrigued. Reading on her own bed, though, while there were humming friends in the vicinity? Not likely.
Instead, she flopped onto Melanie's. Also, since there was a person there, on Melanie. "Hi." Alice rolled around on the seventh year's tummy, making herself comfortable before propping her book open and beginning to read.
No big deal, you know, reading stuff about the human brain while lying on her Keeper.

Tired brain was tired. Melanie hadn't even cracked open a book yet and the only book she had even finished over the summer was 'Alice in Wonderland' which didn't really count because she had reread it. Several times. But it wasn't her fault if it was more interesting than learning about history. With the pillow still over her head, she let out a barely audible oof.
What was on her stomach?
Hearing the word hi, Melanie groaned. Her tummy. "Alice Fischer, what are you doing on my stomach?" Melanie asked, removing the pillow from her face. She was quite tempted to hit Alice with it. However, if she were to hit the younger Gryffindor with it... Melanie had a feeling Alice would be able to grab the pillow and whack Melanie back. And since Alice was lying on Melanie's tummy, Melanie would be unable to do anything about it.
Lovely.
"Just saying, I hope you know I'm not a teddy bear. Mister Bear is still in my trunk and he makes an excellent pillow."

This year meant OWLs. This year also meant that she was meant to be spending time in the library. But in the books of the school, this meant that it would be the year when they CHARGED for entrance into the library, at least that was what Sarah heard. She arrived at the Fifth Year dorm and opened it. Her trunks were waiting for her by her bed. This was her fifth year, and she still enjoyed the fact that she never had to schlep up the trunks from the train and all. "So this our dorm Schuylar" Sarah said, doing a sweeping motion around the room. "Your bed is where your trunk was deposited".
As her friends came in, Sarah got busy and opened her trunk. She pulled out a pair of pink dolphin slippers, "I was shopping with my mother and I saw these which reminded me that I hadn't told her what my patronus was. So I told her mine was a dolphin she was so happy that I produced a corparal that she bought them for me. These came as part of a buy one, get one free deal, so I went over to the slipper section to get another pair. I love that array. Those slippers they had were so ultra funky that I had a hard time choosing. I settled on the lion ones, as I am a Gryffindor after all." Sarah said digging out the other pair of lion slippers. "I never thought I would like shopping, but it was fun!"
More rummaging in her trunk, "I also got four my nighties as I grew out of the other ones which I got when I first came to Hogwarts. Which one should I wear tonight?" Sarah asked holding out a lilac nightie, "should I wear this purple one?" She then put it down and held out a blue one"this one. Or this pink stripey one?" She asked holding out the one with vertical stripes. "or finally.. this one" she said holding out the aqua nightie. Then she placed the nighties on her lap and chuckled. "I think this is first night fever.. I am just way too excited! Don't worry Schuylar, I won't put you through this everynight. Right Penelope?" Sarah turned to her friend who had been her roommate since they were ten. "So guys.. ready for OWL year?" Sarah asked. "We now have to pay to get into the library, so I guess I will be staggering my visits there and working in the common room more. What subjects are you doing for OWLS?"

Schuyler walked on into the dorm, dropped her bag on the floor, and plopped onto her bed. She had actually checked the dorm out just a little earlier, but Sarah was so excited to present it to her that she neglected to mention this. She rolled onto her side and propped her head on her hand while she watched the girl pull out her two pairs of animal slippers. "They look cozy," she commented with a small, amused grin. At this rate, it seemed like Sarah might be even more loquacious than Cassia. The girl then began taking out several, long, pastel nightgowns. Here, Schuyler laughed. Not a mean laugh, just a very surprised and tickled one. This was a joke. "Girl, what are those?" hehe. She looked at the gowns, then to Sarah again, believing that they must be pulling a fast one on her because she was new or something.
Sarah blamed her giddiness on the first night back, and Schuyler offered a smile. That was understandable. Schuyler was excited as well, although she supposed she was now just a little pooped out by this point of the day. She was comfortable on her bed, but she willed herself to get up and get out her own sleep attire. She snagged a worn, but comfy t-shirt and boxers. "Yeah, that's pretty lame that we have to pay to get into the library.. was it like that last year?" She had just been in there earlier today, and it was eight sickles to get past those darn turnstiles.

Penelope decided to leave all the talking to Sarah and instead simply flopped down on her bed - making sure not to lay on her cat who was laying up by her pillows - while her friend spoke. And speak she did. It was one of her friend's many talents. Heh.
Crawling to the end of her bed to get to her trunk, she smiled when Sarah brought out her slippers. Penelope nodded in agreement with Schuyler. They did look pretty cozy and warm. Probably would be really good once winter hit. And then Sarah was pulling out all her nightgowns and Schuyler seemed to think it was funny. Penelope grinned. "I vote one of the blue ones." They looked the most comfy to her, though she still wouldn't wear them. Nah, just her usual shirt and sweatpants were what she liked as pajamas. And that was what she was pulling out of her trunk now.
She laughed. "Nah, not every night." Especially once classes started and all when there would have to be more time spent on doing homework than talking. Meh. Penelope was not looking forward to the homework or the exams for the year.
"Not for the library, but we did have to pay to get into the common room and the Great Hall," she explained. "That really wasn't fun." And it was worse than the turnstiles in front of the library and wherever else in Penelope's opinion, though it was still pretty bad considering it was their OWL year and the one year Penelope was maybe actually considering properly studying and stuff.

"They are nighties. You like them?" Sarah asked. "Before Hogwarts I did not know that other girls had other choices of sleepware. I guess I like them with their long lenghth. Its like wearing a blanket.. and no, I do not get tangled in them" People had asked her that before. "I think they bring out my feminie romantic side "the maiden stood outside, her floral nightgown billowing in the night air around her, the full moon lighting up her face'. I love old fashioned things, I guess coming with an old-fashioned yet classic name like Sarah and living in an ancestral farm with most of the furniture passed down for generations did it. Or maybe she liked quirky things. She often thought of herself as a stew, with a lot of facets to her personality.
So Penelope had spoken, "Great! I will wear the aqua one tonight" she said, stuffing the other ones back into her trunk. She could use the folding and packing spell later, yet now she wanted to talk. She put her head through the nightie hole for her head, so it fell over her like a tent, covering the clothes she had been wearing. She then began to undress underneath it, if she did it on her bed behind the curtains she would not be able to speak while she dressed which was essential for her. "Other great thing about these nighties is that they are big enough to use for a changing room" she said with a grin. She then noticed the new girls sleepware, (she had already told Penelope that she had liked her sleepware in the past). "I like that tshirt, reminds me of the one I wear over my one piece swimsuit when I swim at Hogwarts. As my swimming costume is sleeveless and I don't want my bare arms to distract people and make them start thinking of me as an object, a mere body. I like people to think of me as a person". By people she meant men. She was too tired to explain her Princess Theory to the others. As she spoke, a pool of her clothes gathered beneath her feet, her blouse and skirt most prominent. Penelope answered the question about the library, "I found it hard, as I need books -knowledge to live. A variety of Books and people are way more important to me then food, as much as I love food, I can survive on bread and water. But books..." She was nearly going to be sorted into Ravenclaw because of it. "Last year, i worked my way around it, only going into the Common room once a day and growing my own vegetables in the student garden so I did not have to pay to eat the food here" hence her bout of anemia. She was done undressing now and she slipped her arms through the arm holes and stepped out of her clothes. Which she stuffed into a laundry hamper. "So now I am going to make a list of books I need for studying and only go to the library when the list is full. Mind you, does anyone know if we can bring outside muggle technology into the technology center? I have a kindle at home, as in screen which I can get books on, so I can ask my mom to update my library on it and send it here so I can read in the technology centre." She sat on her bed and took off her stockings and shoes and slipped into her lion slippers, "in honour of Schuylar joining the lion pride" she explained

Schuyler glanced in Penelope's direction with a smile. It was looking like Sarah could talk enough for the three of them. Not that Schuyler minded at all. They had to pay to get into the common room and the Great Hall? "And what if students couldn't afford that?" Because those were places where students had to go everyday.. multiple times a day.
Well, yes, she knew they were nighties, Schuyler had just been... caught off guard by the other girl's selection of sleepwear. She chose to politely ignore the girl's first question. It seemed like either Sarah was very sheltered, or very traditional. Both, maybe. But, she was a sweet girl. When the girl explained her old-fashioned tendencies, Schuyler nodded in an understanding manner. She respected her decision to be old-fashioned, but just because she came from an old, 'classic' family, that didn't mean that she had to base her life around these characteristics. That part was her choice. "That's a pretty line," she commented, about the moonlight on the woman's face there, the nightgown billowing in the wind.
As Sarah changed beneath her tent nightgown, Schuyler just stripped and changed into her PJs as she normally did. She pulled the t-shirt that her new friend had just complimented over her head, and she moved her hair out from beneath her shirt. "Thanks, Sarah. It's nice and comfy." Okay, one-piece swimsuits weren't any more Schuyler's thing than the nightgowns, but there was nothing wrong with Sarah wearing one. What she did think was strange was that Sarah went to such great lengths to keep people from thinking of her as an 'object,' rather than a 'body.' The basic idea made complete sense, but the actions were very extreme. She pushed her lips to the side. "I can see where you're coming from in that people should recognize that you should want someone for more than simply their physical attributes, but there's nothing wrong with being admired sometimes. The human body is very beautiful, and I don't think it's something we should 'hide,' per se." She wasn't saying that people should dress in dental floss, but wearing clothing that flattered one's form or showed a little skin was perfectly fine in Schuyler's opinion. She combed her fingers through the ends of her hair and looked to Sarah again. "To each her own," she smiled. Because Schuyler did like Sarah, no matter how polar opposite they were in some instances.
Moving on. She listened to Sarah continue about her love for a variety of books and people - namely books. Then she segued into the technology center and bringing outside items, like her Kindle, into the room. "I'm sure that's fine. It's a technology room, after all." She gave the girl a warm smile when she chose her lion slippers based on her. "Thank you, Sarah; that's sweet." Maybe they could enchant them to make them roar occasionally.
Schuyler now took the opportunity to ask after Penelope a little. "So, Penelope, do you go by your full name, or do you have a nickname?"

"Reading." Clearly. Teddy bear? Melanie did know Alice had a pig bunny for that exact reason, didn't she? "I don't want to squash Mister Bear. I might hurt him, and then you'd be cross with me." Squishing around on Melanie's tummy was much safer.
It was obvious that she wasn't going to get any reading done, so the sixth year slammed her psychology book shut and rolled over so that she was facing her friend, still on her tummy. "How's unpacking going? I got all my stuff out already and it hasn't even been a whole week. Are you proud of me?"
She was supposed to be super proud.

Reading. Of course. How did Melanie miss that? She let out a long sigh, and placed the pillow over her head for a moment before removing it. "I wouldn't be mad if you squished Mister Bear. He's just a teddy bear," Melanie said. She'd shrug her shoulders but she was lying down and there was an Alice Fischer on her tummy.
Melanie winced when she heard the book close and let out another groan when Alice shifted on her tummy. Okaaay. That is not comfortable. Not having the heart to tell Alice to get the 'bloody hell' off of her tummy, she just let the younger girl... lie there. If only Alice was still tiny and about five feet tall... that would be much more comfortable. "I've finished most of my unpacking. Just have to sort my clothes out."
Alice had finished unpacking.
Melanie hadn't even finished unpacking yet.
And Alice was done.
Eyes wide, Melanie's mouth dropped a little. Too tired to raise her hands and clap for the girl, she just grinned. "I am proud of you. Feels nice to be completely unpacked doesn't it?" 'Cause it was one less thing to worry about and all. Okay, it was getting really uncomfortable.
"Hey, Alice? I know you're a queen and all but I'm not a bed." Or a chair.

"Well, it was only one knut per entry," Penelope admitted, "so it wasn't as much as these others at least. Especially if you made sure to go into the common room only once a day." So maybe it didn't seem TOO bad in hindsight, even for those like herself who didn't have a lot of money. But still, it wasn't really good either. And thankfully they were gone now.
As Sarah continued talking and they all started changing into their pj's, Penelope did so as well, not bothering with pulling the curtains around her bed. Just a quick change into her shirt and sweatpants and she was done after only a minute or so. Laying down on her stomach and propping her face up with her hands, she listened as they started talking about clothes and how to wear them and such, nodding a little. She felt like she kinda agreed with them both on some level. Definitely about the being seen for more than just physical appearances. But it kinda varied on the clothes and swimsuits and stuff. "Yeah," she said with another nod, sorta to agree with Schuyler. "And I think that mostly, as long as you're happy with what you're wearing and it's what you want, then it's good and it doesn't matter much what others think or don't think." So both of them were right, at least in Penelope's mind.
As for the kindle thing and the books... "Does it still get magical textbooks on it if it's a Muggle technology thing?" Just out of curiosity. Or was there a wizard variation of it? Wizards did sometimes seem to like taking Muggle stuff and using it for magic purposes. Like brooms.
And then Schuyler was asking about her name. Penelope shrugged. "I usually go by my full one, but I don't mind nicknames long as it's not Penny. You can make one up if you want." Totally up to the other girl. She didn't mind.

"I have my own teddy to squish. I'm good." Melanie was sighing a lot, and stating she wasn't a bed, which Alice was quite aware of. But she figured it'd just be easier if she rolled off, and probably more comfortable as well, so she slid onto the bed again.
Happy, Melanie?
"I finished before you did? Really?" That was new. "It feels.. the same." Was it supposed to feel different? Alice flipped open the psychology book again and began reading on the page she'd left off at, simultaneously trying to hold a conversation with her dorm mate, since they hadn't gotten all the conversing done at the feast. "How was summer?"

Red walked into the Dormitory, it was just as nice as she expected. She sat down on a bed and started to unpack some of her things. Not that she had many anyway. She took out her drawing pad and pencil. They were some of her prized possessions, she used them to escape from her normal life, hopefully, she wouldn't need them as much here. But despite that, she took her pencil in hand and began to draw.

And that teddy's name was not Melanie Sung so that was good. Melanie wouldn't like to be squished. She liked being... unsquished? It was definitely a nice feeling when Alice got off of her tummy. "Thanks, Alice." She was pretty sure that one Alice rolled off, she had gotten hungrier. She'd go get something to eat later.
"I've been a bit busy and distracted so I haven't finished just yet." Actually, Melanie just didn't feel like unpacking. She wasn't quite sure why but every time she had opened her trunk to unpack, she found herself taking a nap instead. The Gryffindor sat up and hugged a pillow while she watched Alice read.
What was Alice reading anyways? Melanie tilted her head down so she could read the cover or the spine. Oh. Well... wasn't that a smarticle type of book? It just reminded her that she hadn't studied at all. "That looks like an interesting book." Except not really. Was Alice reading this for fun?
"Summer was fantastic," Melanie replied with a grin. It had been absolutely perfect. "How was yours? Did you have fun interning?"

Maybe it was better not to voice her views. She did not want people tp feel like she was attacking them. It was her personal preference and she just liked diversity and stuff.
"Thank you!" Sarah said when Schuylar liked her line, "I like to write, I was thinking of branching off into historical romance sometime. I have been doing people watching for a while, so I could get background in romance" as Sarah never had a Boyfriend in her life. Yet Hogwarts had lots of couples. 'don't worry, P, I don't watch you and Stark. How do you say his first name again?" she asked turing to Penelope. "One of my stories is in "Plimpy Soup for the Wizarding Soul" Sarah said Nonchalantly, as if it was no big deal. "Although some of my stories have been published in various media outlets. Its how I get my pocket money"
"Of course the human body is beautiful, that is why teenage boys go after girls in the first place.. well most times" She did not want to offend anyone here. "but I guess I always knew that my body was never my strong point, so I focus on internal beauty instead. Although external beauty is tempart, yet internal is eternal.. Sorry about all this part. I see myself as a princess so I try to dress like one too"
Then about the Kindle, "I hope so" she said in reply to Schuylar, "I don't know myself, I should write to textbook publishers about that though. But if they don't get them, I can scan the pages of books at home, get my sister in law to do it for me as she is anyways at home with her new baby, and ask her to tranfer the scanned pages on to my Kindle" Her sister in law had learnt how to work muggle stuff by marrying into the Edwards family.
"So guys.. what about OWLs. Which subjects are you taking? I am dropping Divinition and maybe Ancient Runes... What profession do you guys want to go to?" Sarah said as she sat on her bed, her feet swinging
Aidella | King of Confusion | Brittana | Forever ACROMANTULA
Schuyler nodded. One knut per day wasn't bad, but that still added up! She supposed if Hogwarts was so broke, then they needed to get money in some fashion... even if that was a pretty low point. "True. If it were eight sickles per common room entry, the school would make us broke."
It was nice being in PJs now. Comfy and ready to unwind for the night. Schuyler sat with her legs crossed under her on her bed. Historical romance, interesting. "So, are you a fan of Romeo and Juliet?" She only asked because this was like the be-all and end-all of great romances, supposedly. Schuyler herself actually didn't care for the plot all that much. Both of the main characters got on her nerves. It did have some great lines, though, and surely Sarah could appreciate that. And Sarah earned pocket money through her writing? That was a convenient job for her indeed. When the other girl mentioned Penelope having a boyfriend, Schuyler glanced her way. "Who's your boyfriend?" See if she knew him. And it was good to know who was single and who was taken because Schuyler was very much a 'Bros after...'.......or maybe.. 'Chicks before...'?..... Ah! Uteruses before duderuses. That would work. In short, her girls came before boys. Always. heh..
Schuyler shook her head when Sarah apologized about the whole body image/clothing conversation. "No, I understand what you're saying, and you have a good point. I think it's fine that we differ in opinion - I didn't mean to sound offended or accusatory - and, I think it's also nice to discuss points of disagreement because how else can you grow and become more open-minded?" Everyone agreeing on everything would just be horribly, painstakingly boring. When Penelope spoke, Schuyler smiled softly and nodded in agreement. Yes, that was the ticket - concise and completely accurate. "Well put. I agree."
Penelope's question about Kindles was a good one, and seeing as Schuyler knew almost nothing about the things, she listened to Sarah's response. Scan in every page. "Yikes. That sounds tedious.." May as well just use the regular text book. She shrugged. "The concept of having all of your books in one is smart, but I don't know.." She shrugged. "I like the feel of an actual book in my hands." Turning real, dog-eared pages and smelling new OR old book scents.
And now onto the subject of OWLs. "I might drop divination as well. But Ancient Runes? I heard that class isn't so bad." Although, that was a matter of opinion, wasn't it? Schuyler stretched out her torso and lifted her fists above her head in a niiiice, long stretch before falling back upon her bed. Aah. She would be asleep soon. "I don't know what I want to do." Maybe something with flowers....

Penelope nodded and laughed a little. "Yeah, that'd be mental. We'd all end up sleeping outside if we had to pay that much just for the common rooms." Not that she'd mind sleeping outside, it could be fun sometimes. Except in the winter. But then they could just sleep in the Great Hall again like they had in her second year. So maybe that wouldn't be so bad overall, aside from the being broke thing.
She liked people watching too, though not really for writing. Penelope didn't consider herself much of a writer, though it was cool that Sarah was. But she liked people watching just because it was kinda fun and sometimes funny to see what people did when they thought no one was looking. "I like Romeo and Juliet." That question was probably to Sarah, but she figured she could answer too. Then the conversation turned to her boyfriend, and her face practically lit up. They were only asking about his name, but she liked his name so that was still good. "Ah-skay-nee-us," she pronounced for Sarah and then added to answer Schuyler, "Ascanius Stark. He's in our year but in Slytherin." So maybe he and Schuyler had met? Or maybe not since it was only the beginning of term and there were a LOT of fifth years. There were still some Penelope hadn't met yet, she was pretty sure.
And it seemed they were basically on the same page now about the beauty thing, so Penelope only listened as they continued with it since she didn't have anything more to add at the moment.
Scanning the pages definitely seemed like a lot of work. "The textbooks can be kinda thick sometimes." That would be a crazy amount of pages to scan individually. Unless there was a way to do more than one at once? Penelope had no idea. And she didn't really have a preference between the technology books and actual books since she'd only ever used the actual ones.
Aaand now it was OWLs. The topic that was coming up a lot now that fifth year had started. She'd never really taken Divination so she couldn't drop that one. Ancient Runes though... "The class isn't too bad 'cause the professor's decent." Botros was a nice guy, and the lessons were cool sometimes, so she liked him well enough. But the class itself, she wasn't a big fan of. Runes were confusing, even with a good teacher. Thankfully she didn't really need it. "I'm thinking about being an Auror." Nothing definite yet, but it was at the top of her very short list.

Not that she'd mind sleeping outside, it could be fun sometimes.
"Romeo and Juliet.. let me see.. well, I prefer to act it out like a play and not read it, also I HATED the ending. All endings ought to be happy, after all, in life things always work out for the good. But I do like romances, although I usually stick to one pre-mid twentieth century, as they are cleaner. Even with those my mother prefers that I don't as she does not want me to be exposed to such fairytale. In real life, marriage is hard work, requires effort on both sides, and what is seen in romances is usually infatuation - not love." Said the brunette who was incurably romantic and dreamed of a Prince Charming.. Wait, was she being too opiniated? Maybe these girls were not here to discuss, rather just chill.
"Ah-skay-nee-us..." she tried and then repeated it. "so complicated still.. I will just call him Stark. Much easier." Sarah said. Penelope was so cute.. lighting up when Stark was mentioned... n'aww. "I guess so, I can still get a ot of muggle books on there without a lot of work" Sarah said looking down, playing with the bedspreads, "I will discuss it with Bently though, the library visits are prone to make me broke" More like her parents broke. she said. "each coin adds up. Maybe we can change things.. get a sponser to sponser the library visits of every OWL student or something" "Ancient Runes is not that bad... I just don't like the mythology aspect. The teacher is a nice old man. I also find that giving gifts to trees is WIERD Sarah emphsised the last part, "trees can't talk, not do they have feeling.. they are not human" "AN AUROR" Sarah repeated!"thats awesome.. maybe we will work together.. that is if I choose to become one. It is seeming like the most likely at present though"
Sarah yawned, and hten clammed her mouth shut again. "so, " she said turning to Schuylar, "what are your interests? Professor Bentley gives career advice... you have to book an appointment though"
A sock footed first year was tearing apart the dorms in search for her shoes. Tessa had never misplaced her shoes before and was wandering where they could be when she checked all the most obvious places and found no sight of her shoes. "Not at the foot of the bed." She went back to the foot of the bed just to make sure she hadn't overlooked it. "Nope. Wasn't under the bed." Tessa didn't check there again just because she had just finished shoving everything back under the bed. "Where can they possibly be?" She asked the empty room.

Blair entered the girls dormitory and made her way over to her bed. She slipped her satchel of her shoulder and took a seat. Blair removed her headband and brushed out her hair with her fingers as she let her eyes wander the room. This was when she noticed the girl at the bed across from her. She was talking to herself and appeared to be looking for something. "Good to know I'm not the only one that talks to themselves. Have you lost something?" She asked with a smile.

"Stop looking at me like that." Lex idly chatted to her kneazle as she hopped off her bed and ran a hand under it for the ball she'd just lost. Good it didn't go very far this time. She didn't fancy crawling around the Dormitory looking for it. "You wouldn't say it was nearly as dangerous if I actually knew the spell to make it come back on its own." Like an actual bludger would.
Aha!
Lex held the small ball in hand for a moment before grabbing her beater's bat once more and hopping back onto her bed. Her kneazle wasn't having any of it, no, he'd decided to lie on Alice's bed but the Captain wouldn't mind...she liked Felix for the most part. If she didn't, it didn't show.
The Fourth Year got back into a bouncing motion before tossing the ball up and batting it against the furthest wall. She took a swing when it bounced back toward her, the whole time doing some bed bouncing of her own. Quidditch season was over, she missed being able to hit things. Jumping on the bed was just a bonus. On her third swing the ball went wide and she ended up hopping to someone else's bed just to hit it back at the wall in time. Reflexes, she was building them. That was her excuse and she was sticking to it.

Abbi was beyond furious at Donny for getting cooties just like that, without even asking her first. and NOW he didn't even believe in them anymore? LIKE HE WAS GOING TO DIE. Now maybe she was a bit old for this kind of stuff, but Abbi had always been 'younger' more immature than most her age. It was just who she was and she didn't care if people thought different.
Flyers out and ready, the little fairy began circling around placing posters everywhere she could she even snuck into the older girl's dorms.
O_______________________O
WHAT WAS THAT BALL FLYING AROUND?.....Oh wait it was Alexa. GIGGLE SNORT.
"You practicing?" A wide smile was worn across Abbi's face and then she took a flyer and placed it on a free wall that was not being aimed at by a ball.

She almost lost her footing once or twice but she managed to keep the bat and bounce motion going until she ended up back on her own bed that now had rumpled sheets and the pillows kicked all over. Come to think of it, she'd managed to get half the beds looking like this....how soon were the others planning to come back up here....namely Alice. If she saw this she'd make her clean it all...after thumping her in the head a few times.
She was about to glance around the room at any damage she might have caused--like the lamp she'd broken on Penelope's nightstand (oops?) but the ball just kept bouncing back and she had to keeping batting in sync, you know?
The ball flew to her again and she swung hard, aiming at the door which opened--fdjkfbgkfgrr the ball flew through. Awwwww man. Who even....?
Her eyebrows raised as she saw the Firstie (Abby, yes, she knew her name, same team and all, yup) walk in. "I was but now you've lost me a ball." She commented, not particularly bothered. No, she was too busy wondering what the girl wanted up here and why she was sticking things to there wall. "Oi, clutter your own walls, yeah?" She whipped out her wand and accioed the poster to get a better look. What in merlin's beard....? "Looking for a new best friend...must not have cooties..." Eyes back on the First Year. "And you're being real legit about this?"
