The Back Alley

The streets of Hogsmeade are clean, cheerfully lit, and full of chatter with the store fronts advertising their wares. However, the alley behind the shops is dark, dank, and kinda... creepy. If you know anything at all about the school's history with the village, then you KNOW to avoid this place.

Also, it smells bad. Blame it on the rubbish bins, if you will.

"Ugh!" The boy uttered quietly to himself as he caught a spot downwind of the rubbish bins. He wanted to bottle that scent and use it later for persuasion. The witches, he thought, would definitely hate it.

Cutty found the cleanest dirty spot to sit and he plopped himself down opening his light-weight sack and pulling out his purple phial from class. Time to do his potions homework, the field test part of it. He quickly changed into an oversized robe which he had purchased early at the robes shop in Hogsmeade and unstopped the phial. Time to see if he'd done this correctly. Bottoms up!

When he'd finished, he changed his shoes and other articles of clothing in the shadows and switched them out in the sack. Cutty counted his coins one more time and headed directly to an establishment where he could spend them.
