Hey guys! My name is Katrina Kim, but I go by with any name you'd like. I have a list for you to pick a name for your choice: Kimmy, Kat, Kimothy, and personal nicknames you'd like to give me. What? Oh, it was her turn to be sorted. Kat was excited, but nervous too. Her parents had bet on which house she'd be in. Her dad for Ravenclaw, while her mum for Slytherin. To Kat, whichever House she'd be in was okay for her. Now it was the moment of truth. She placed the hat on her head.
" Smart as a Ravenclaw, you could be there. Brave as a Gryffindor and patient as a Hufflepuff? No." Hmph.
There was silence until... " SLYTHERIN!"
Kat beamed and went to the table where the Slytherins were applauding. Mum won. Yay. | |

57. Goblin
Pre-Hogwarts
Three year old Katrina held her mother's hand as the two went to Gringott's to withdraw galleons for buying new clothes. Her mum went directly to an empty counter and spoke to the goblin in charge. However, Kat was looking around and observing the statues and pillars. She was even eyeing some goblins and their strangely pointed noses. Who wouldn't miss that?
As one of the goblins passed by, Katrina confronted him and poked his nose. The goblin groaned and glared at her which made the little girl giggle. "Oopsies!" she squealed and skipped her way back to her mother.

Hogwarts
Today was Kat's birthday and the Slytherin had plans for her special day. She was excited, despite it would be at the Forbidden Forest. What if Gibbins caught them? She wasn't going in there alone actually. West had offered to show her the thestrals in the forest and Kat was up for it. It didn't take long to wait until she arrived to meet him.
"Hey West," she said, smiling at him.
"Hiiii I hope you weren't waiting too long. I got elves to get me supplies." Aka raw meat. In a few minutes, they both made their way in.

81. Depression
Post-Hogwarts
Wizarding University had been really tiring. Graduation did seem like heaven at first. Now Katrina was in France with her very own best friend, Elise. Today was their rest day so Kat was just chilling in their apartment living room reading some of her Potions textbooks, specifically about the history of different draughts. Just when she was about to turn a page, Kat dropped her book. Elise, who was napping in her room, screamed.
Running to her bestie's aid, Kat hugged Elise. "What's wrong, El?"
She was crying. "I miss him..." she said, croaking.
Of course, Elise meant Christopher Stylinson.

Pre-Hogwarts
" Hey, daddy, what's that constellation up there?" Seven year old Katrina asked her father as they both laid on the lawn of their home in London. The two decided to go stargazing tonight as the sky was full of stars.
" That..." her dad pointed. " ... is the Orion, also known as The Hunter."
Little Kat nodded in reply and continued to watch the night sky. Suddenly something went streaking through the sky. Kat immediately stood up. " Daddy! It's a falling star!" The girl chased the star.
" Go get it, sweety." It made her dad smile.
" I'm gonna catch a falling star!"

Great Lockout of 2079 {Term 32}
Katrina had dragged her fellow Slytherin, Ariana Logan, up the staircases to the Gryffindor Common Room while they were watched by portraits that seem to be here for more than a decade. All the common rooms seemed to be sealed, so they were checking on the Lions if they were locked too.
" Hey portrait, why'd you lock them out?" Ariana asked the portrait when they arrived.
" Give it a rest, Logan," Kat said. " You guys locked out too?" It was directed to the Lions outside their common room. A few of them responded to the she-snakes, but they've learnt enough.

"Dare," Katrina replied to Tag when the younger Gryffindor asked whether she wanted a truth or dare. She was playing the game with Bliss, Elise, Blue, West, Cassia, and of course Tag. After responding, it took a few moments for the Gryffindor to think of an appropriate dare for her.
He smirked. "I dare you to lick West."
BLINK. What? "Tag, are you serious?" Kat said with wide eyes. The other players were all giggling and rolling around, but Tag just shrugged with a grin.
... "I'm sorry, West," Kat apologised and went closer to lick his cheek. Talk about humiliating.

"Kat?"
Groan.
"Wakey wakey, bestie," a familiar voice said while its owner awkwardly poked the sleeping girl's arm. What idiot thought it was fun to wake Kat up in the middle of a dream? But she couldn't say Elise was an idiot. The girl was Kat's best friend through the thick and thin times.
"Shush, Elise, I am napping," Kat groaned and turned over to another side of her bed. She did not like it when people disturbed her during her only time of rest.
Elise just rolled her eyes before throwing a pillow on her napping best friend's face.

Katrina was obviously feeling down right now. Yep. Apparently the Hogwarts professors and the Headmistress were good on brooms too. Whatever, they all scored... even AGAINST the top Keeper of last term. How horrific.
And what was worst? A bludger from her own Head of House. Lafay totally hit it on Elise, who had elbowed Kat's nose. Yeah, her nose was oozing blood. Disgusting.
The Slytherin groaned, covering her nose from everyone. Dylan had episkey'd it though. "Thanks," she murmured. And... no, she didn't like the outburst from the Headmistress. Feeling down, Kat made her way to the Great Hall.

People would think that History of Magic was the most boring class ever. Maybe because all you learn from the class is about the past. Like, honestly, who cares? They're dead. Kat didn't care about the past either since it was over. But she was only here for a reason.
Yep, hellooooooo Professor Scabior.
The class wasn't too boring now, because they had an attractive professor. Kat listened to the discussion, but also focused on her parchment. Instead of notes, it had the words 'Professor Scabior' with doodles and small hearts around them. What can she do? He was gorgeous.
