Please, do try not to be afraid-- the home of Lucretia Cypress (now also home to Ameliah and Ted Black as well as Natalie Cypress) is much less scary than it appears. Lucretia has the inside of it decorated quite beautifully, as she enjoys entertaining guests, and does her best to make others feel welcome. Of course, with a house this big, there are indeed many secrets to be revealed... Which may or may not include a boisterous ghost that enjoys a good prank.

Visitors are indeed welcome to take a chance and use the eagle-shaped knocker, so come on in!

Scene One:

Ameliah and her friends are throwing a party to celebrating Logan getting back from his Aunt's house, as well as Ameliah and Lucretia's new house together.

Elizabeth came up to the front door and knocked. She had the adoption papers ready to hand over to Lucretia.
Taylor wanted to come as well since she had missed Amelia.

Lucretia jumped a little as the door suddenly knocked. It was silent almost moments before, which was strange considering how big the house was. Opening the door, she found it was the McIntyres. "Hello! C'mon in, I'll get Ameliah," she added to the younger girl.
Ameliah ran down the ~~many~~ stairs. "No need, already here!" Looking up, she saw Tay was here. "Hey..." she said akwardly, remembering the last time they had spoken. A faint squeak came from her pocket, and Ameliah pulled out her blue puff Mel. The badger swipe had laid a few scars, but Mel was walking fine. Putting the puff safely on her shoulder, she turned back to the other three.

Elizabeth smiled at Lucretia, "Thank you." She stepped in, "You have a lovely home."
Taylor bit her lip, "Sorry about Mel, Am..." She looked at Mel, "and sorry to you." Tay gently stroked Mel for a few seconds.

Lucretia smiled. "I've done my best, it's a big house. Lots of room to explore, and, unfortunately, lots of room for Len to wreak havoc everywhere." Almost as if on cue, an empty bottle soared across the room. Lucretia and Ameliah ducked automatically, and the bottle fell beside the opposite wall.
"If that hasn't happened millions of times...." But Ameliah was grinning as she said so. Mel looked cautiously at Tay, grimacing as she was stroked, but eventually finding that since there weren't claws, she was safe. She rubbed her good side against Tay's hand. "I guess Mel seems alright now..." Ameliah smiled at her puff. "It's fine."

Taylor ducked and laughed. "Guess so." Tay smiled and stroked Mel some more, "Okay."

Lucretia laughed softly. "This house is really old... meet Len, the polergiest. Though I suppose you won't really be able to, he keeps hidden as much as possible."
Ameliah was laughing. "It's the perfect house, all this excitement and exploration... I can show you, I've already found about ten secret passages and rooms." She grinned, and there was a certain twinkle in her eyes that was always there when these moments came.

Taylor nodded, "Can we explore right now then, Am?" She smiled and giggled.

Lucretia smiled. "Thank you, and thank you so much for taking care of Ameliah... I honestly can't thank you enough...."
Ameliah grinned. "'Course, c'mon!" She grabbed Tay by the wrist and pulled her upstairs into the main hallway. "There's a trick wall here somewhere, it changes places every time." She began to feel along the wall, waiting for some part to give in to the secret room. "You can tell this used to be a wizard's home."

"Oh it wasnt a problem. It was a delight to have her." She smiled sweetly. "Ameliah is a pleasure to have and a brilliant girl."
Taylor laughed as she got pulled up the stairs. She went to helping Ameliah find the trick wall. "Yeah, it is obvious."

Lucretia smiled as she watched her niece run up the stairs. "Sometimes, though, I swear she's still six.... most twelve-year-olds I know of aren't that entergetic and excitable!" She laughed. Ameliah was surely going to stay that way for years to come, no matter where she is.
Ameliah grinned as a square of wall suddenly stuck in. "Found it!" The section opened to show an old metal slide. "After you, mo dheirfiúr," Ameliah said, standing up.

Lucretia chuckled. "No, indeed, there is not," she agreed, "First thing she did when she stepped in was explore, that's why I bought such a big house." She laughed. "Would you like something to drink?"
Ameliah was about to hop in when she heard a dog bark. A red labrador pattered into the hallway, eager to explore with her owner. "All right, c'mon, Einreal!" Ameliah led her dog to the slide and let her jump in before she pulled her self in headfirst, laughing the entire way down. She landed just beside Taylor and Einreal, still giggling. "Welcome to my second home!" she said, standing up. The room was decorated with a small couch, a mini-fridge, many textbooks, parchment, a couple beanbag chairs (Eimear had curled up in a yellow one), and other comfort items.
