After graduating from Hogwarts, a group of best friends accepted the fact that they’d probably drift apart from each other. Their future career choices would fling them all over the globe and it’s clouding their judgment now. They look at the past seven years of their lives, remembering the conflicts they’ve had and all the obstacles they got through together. Now, on this one week vacation before they finally go away, they struggle to keep happy smiles and cling onto that time before they knew they had to part. Will some change their minds about the rest of their lives? Will confessions be made?
Welcome to Newuka Island; hold onto dreams, friends or the love of your lives, but at the end of the day, all that matters is if you’ve lived every moment to the fullest, right?

Miranda Fields: She aspires to be a journalist and has secured an internship with Witch Weekly magazine. It's a dream come true for her but it's going to take her all the way to East Coast, America where she'll be helping out. Miranda is a force to be reckoned with. If she has something to say... she'll write it. Her mother is a fashion designer, she wants to write for a magazine, her sister's a model, it's all going to work out for the Fields. Evelyn Hathaway: Evelyn has always been the pretty girl with a flair for acting and the arts. She intends on traveling to California to see where her talent and knack for drama takes her. It also helps that she's been scouted to model, either way, she's excited for it though some of her friends aren't sure if her loud outgoing personality will win people over... or scare them all away. She doesn't think before she speak sometimes. Olivia Tyler: She's always been a bit quiet and studious and is now going to study for a year or two before taking up the internship at St. Mungo's. Always the worrywart, she's not sure if she's going to flunk out or pass and possibly find a cure to many new diseases. Nathaniel Greenwell: Dragons. He's always loved Care of Magical Creatures. And he also liked to pull pranks and fool around every once in a while. So he decided he'd go straight to Romania and try out his luck with dragons. Plus, it would put some distance between him and his parents in America who want him to be a business man. Aden Shepard: Auror Aden Shepard. Mister Aden Shepard... Auror. He liked the sound of that, saving people's lives, busting down doors, he claims he's going to be a natural. He intends on following his father's footsteps and going for the job, hoping to live up to his deceased parent's name. Timothy Evans: He's been on the Quidditch team since his first year and was named captain by his fourth. Quidditch was in his blood. He read quidditch books, had quidditch posters, owned as many broom models as he possibly could and now he was going to be part of Falmouth Falcons, traveling the world, flirting with girls and playing quidditch.
- Miranda: Best friends with Nathaniel, the two practically grew up together and she might have a slight crush on him. Then dismisses it as affection towards him as a sibling. Evelyn: Dating Timothy Evans and trying to decide if her career should come between the two of them. And wonders if he'd give up Quidditch for her. Olivia: Uninterested in boys. Her mind revolves around books, her career, and her future due to a breakup in her fifth year. Nathaniel: Head over heels for Miranda but even though he'd face dragons, he refuses to ever tell the girl he has any feelings for her. Aden: Has a crush on Olivia but knows she's not interested in anyone. He hopes he can change her mind somehow about everything. Timothy: Is contemplating a breakup with Evelyn. He likes her, but feels as though Quidditch is more important and when he's traveling the world, he would like to be able to flirt openly and not be tied down.

At a young age, Olivia knew exactly what she wanted to be. She didn't want to be famous, she didn't want to be the center of attention, she wanted to be herself; Olivia Tyler wanted to be a healer. Her mother was a halfblood and her father a pureblood. Olivia's mother worked as a shopkeeper assistant in Diagon Alley while her father worked in the Ministry of Magic as a Apparition supervisor. Olivia lived a perfectly normal life with her elder sister, Ramona, until Olivia turned twelve. Ramona was twenty-one at the time and in another country pursuing her own career as a world renowned chef. It was the summer of Olivia's second year when her parents seemed to have caught a mysterious sickness and she couldn't do a thing about it.
The healers couldn't do anything either and Olivia was upset. That was when she decided she'd be a healer, no matter what happened she was going to become one and save people like the healers had tried to do for her parents.
Olivia was a hardworker, she kept her planner with her at all times and was often found jotting things down in it so she wouldn't forget. She didn't like being distracted and kept a log of the things that happened in a day in her diary. Which she will never show a single person. Olivia met someone in her fifth year, he told her that she was pretty, that she was the only one for him.
He lied. Olivia's one distraction ruined her life and after that, she knew she would never find something as genuine as what her parents had. Summers were hard for Olivia, especially August, when her parents had finally succumbed to the sickness. She doesn't like seeing people get hurt and would do anything to protect her friends and make sure nothing hurts them. Olivia is usually prepared for things that are thrown at her, especially in the case of a medical emergency.

About HimAden was born into a very well off family. They were the type of family that could give him anything that he ever wanted, yet his parents made him work for everything that he ever received. When Aden was four his mother became pregnant with his younger sister, Faye. Two weeks before her birth, however, his father was killed on his job as an auror. This crushed Aden. He had looked up to his father his entire life. He knew from a very young age that he wanted to be just like him when he was older.
From the moment his sister was bon Aden became very protective of her. In his eyes, he was now the man of the house and Faye was his responsibility. Sure, he picked on her and played pranks like any older brother would, but he also watched her every single move to make sure that nothing would ever harm her.
When he started out at Hogwarts as a first year, Aden was leary to leave home strictly for the fact that he would be leaving his mother and sister alone. He decided to make up for this by diving into his studies. Aden soon made many friends. He is a pretty personable boy. At the same time though he has walls that he puts up to keep people from seeing certain insecurities about himself. He has always had a crush on Olivia. He watched during their fifth year as her heart was broken. During that time he had always tried to be there for her, be the friend that she needed. He longs for the day when she realizes that he is interested in her, for the day when she might return those feelings.
The students at Hogwarts got to see the protective side of Aden when his sister came to Hogwarts for her first year. He was then a fifth year, and Prefect. He kept a very watchful eye out for her, acting as if any of the boys who would flirt with her were the people that he was persuing as a future auror.
As Aden begins to enter the real world he is beyond excited to be an auror. He has always been one of the brightest students and Prefects. All he wants is to live up to what his father once was. He just wants to make his father proud.

History: Miranda was born into the world of fashion. I mean, literally! Her mum was, and is, a successful fashion designer, her older sister being a model. What a great start! She was around clothing, runways, etc. for as long as she could remember. But what she wanted most was to be a writer, like 'the people who write down stuff about them', not necessarily for that purpose. Naturally, she got everything she wanted, seeing as it didn't interfere with her Mum and sister's work. They were very serious about their work. Soon enough, it was time to go to Hogwarts. There, she realized her true ability to write. 'The footer essays' were nothing but another challenge for her, the good kind of challenge.

I'll let you into the life of Tim Evans
Tim was raised by both a wizard and a witch, and at a young age, he was brought into the Quidditch world. His dad would take him to most of the games, and when he got older, he made sure to attend all the matches over the summer. Any time he didn't spend at the matches, he spent at home, flying on his broom. By the time he was sent off to Hogwarts, he was eligable to play for any position. But he wanted to be a seeker. Seekers got the most spotlight, and were most adored by all the girls, which he loved almost as much as Quidditch. He was accepted onto the Gryffindor team in his first year, and was captain of it in his fourth. He began dating Evelyn in his final years of school, but his love for flirtation didn't stop him. The only time he wasn't flirting with other girls, was when he was with Evelyn.
Now he's graduated, has been accepted into the Falmouth Falcons, and is ready to tour the world. Which means, foreign girls to flirt with. But he has one problem; Evelyn. He thinks she's a great girl, and has even considered spending his life with her, (Tim: Only for a second, I swear) but now that he's able to see what the world has to offer him, he's not ready to be tied down.

Name: Nathaniel Greenwell
Nickname: Nathan, Nate, whatever sticks (Call him Nathaniel and you are asking for trouble)
School: Hogwarts
Year: Just graduated
Former House: Gryffindor
Wand: Yew, dragon heartstring core, 13 1/2 inches
Favorite Subject: COMC
Disliked: Divination and HOM
Bio: Nathan was an only child of a moderately wealthy pureblood wizarding family. His father was a quiddich star and his mother an auror. They both retired to desk jobs in their respected fields soon
After Nathan was born. He was spoiled growing up with the best play broom and spell kits a little wizard could want. He was also brought on many trips to far off lands growing up. His favorite place however was Romania. He was awe struck to see wizards and witches training dragons. He had it in his mind from that day foward that someday he was gonna train dragons. He was 7 then and his parents took nothing of it, boys will be boys. But to Nathan this way more then a pipe dream. Nathan hit the age to go to Hogwarts and he was off. He quickly proved himself and became the COMCs teachers apprentice only a month into his first year. He made good freinds and played quiddich but hi #1 priority was COMC. Some people thought he was crazy, especially when he often found himself in the hospital wing for COMC related injury of other week. He did not care, he loved it and learned to care for his own injuries as he got older. By the time he left Howarts he had read 100+ books on COMC, at least 50 of which were specifically on dragons. He also left with practical knowledge on COMC that exceeded the level of any other student he had ever taught according to his professor. He even got an internship to work with dragons in Romania and he is going despite what his parents want which is to go with them to the MOM in America where they will be going for a buisness venture for his fathers new line of brooms and they want his help. Not happening. Girls usually liked him for his bravery but he wants to find a girl who likes, him for his compassionate heart.

Day One: Arrival at Newuka
Everyone has just gotten off a flying carriage being pulled by winged horses and are looking around the island for the first time. There are other people there but Olivia has made arrangements to rent a cabin down by the beach for them all to stay. Everyone has their separate rooms with a key to the front door.
The water is a deep sapphire blue and the sun is shining brightly. What will they do today?
Olivia took a step off of the carriage, her flats immediately sunk into sand and it was, in a word, hot. And it wasn't going away either. Olivia turned to look at the carriage and her things in it. Was she going to be able to get back on the carriage? Why had she even arranged for them all to hang out on an island like this? They could've easily done something else that didn't have sand! "Hey guys, the sand's not feeling that great," Olivia called back with a quiet chuckle as she grabbed her things and tugged them off of the carriage. They fell into the sand with a quiet thud and Olivia winced. She hoped sand didn't get into her suitcase. One thing she did know was that the wheels on her suitcase probably wasn't going to work well with the sand.
She sighed and shifted weight from one side to another, trying to get used to the sand and the heat. It wasn't a bad day, it was very sunny, very warm, very... vacation-y. There were green palm trees, people laughing by the ocean. And she could see something like an amusement park of sorts just beyond the pier. She swept her hair out of her face then glanced at the white sign that stood proudly. It's red text said in loopy letters, 'welcome to Newuka Island'. "Welcome indeed," Olivia said before taking one shoe off, then another. The grains of sand in her shoes were starting to bother her.

Tim jumped off the carriage, kicking off his sandals as he went. He was ready for this to be over with, so he could get on with his career. He was going to be a part of one of the best Quidditch teams of all time: The Falmouth Falcons. He was fascinated with them ever since he was little. He had waited his whole life to be on the team, and he didn't want to wait any longer. But Evelyn had insisted that he join them, so he's here for her sake. "At least it's nice out." He said, in response to Olivia's sarcastic welcome. "It's a perfect day for flying!" With a wave of his wand, his bag and broom came flying out of the carriage. The bag hovered next to Tim, and the broom found it's usual spot behind him. He eagerly jumped up and sat on the broom, to protect his feet from the hot sand.
Aden took a deep breath of air as Olivia opened the carrige door. He could smell the difference in the air. They had gone from smoggy London, the the clean air of the beach. He was so excited about this one last trip with his best of friends. As much as he wanted to get out into the real world and be an auror he hated the thought that after this summer they would all part their ways. There would be no more seeing each other on a daily basis, no more haning out in the courtyard inbetween classes. But they still had this summer, and Aden was determined to make the best of it.
He stepped out of the carrige and into the sand. He ould already tell that it was going to get into his shoes, his very nice shoes, but then again sand wouldn't hurt all too much. Aden could tell though that Olivia wasn't too fond of the sand. He he reached down to take her bag from her he said, "What? Are you afraid of a little sand Olive?" He added a playful smile as he grabbed his bag too off of the carrige. He had always had feelings for Olivia, but he knew that they were never returned. He honestly didn't even think that it had anything to do with him, she was just never interested in guys in general. But Aden was always a gentleman at heart, so whether he liked her or not he still would have taken her suitcase from her. Aden let out a little laugh as Tim boarded his broom. That thing never left the boys side. He couldn't think of a time that Tim wasn't flying or talking about it. "Lead the way" He said turning back to Oliva. Aden was excited to see where exactly they would be spending the summer.
Olivia jumped just a bit when the broom flew over to where Timothy was. Figured he would be here on vacation with his broom. "Or reading," Olivia pointed out. Which was exactly what she wanted to do regardless of how much reading she had done in the carriage. She was a bit envious though. Olivia didn't like flying, not a little bit, but right now, it seemed awfully comfortable. It was protection from the sun after all.
She shook the sand out of her shoes. There had to be a spell to protect her shoes from being flooded with sand. And there had to be another one that made the sand cooler. Though slowly, the pain from the hot sand faded to be replaced by a cooler feeling. Perhaps she was adjusting to it? Yes, that had to be it, adaptation; also known as the reason why humans existed now. "I'm not afraid of the sand, it's just hot," Olivia replied with a small smile as she peeked inside the carriage, waiting for the others to get off of the carriage. "Oh," she said when Aden had taken her suitcase. "Thanks, Ade" Olivia said with a smile.
One week here... with nothing but the sun, ocean, and her best friends. Nothing could possibly go wrong, right? "My sister helped me with it, finding the place to stay, that is, it's right by the beach, she thought it'd be nice to wake up and see the ocean," Olivia said, a bit excitedly, pointing at the first cabin she saw by the ocean. Now, if everyone would get off, they could get there, right?

w.a.m.s|♩♫♪♬|sour gummy snakes| "DNA doesn't make a family, Love does"
Miranda hopped out of the carriage, her Duffle Bag bumping up against her side. Sigh. It was so beautiful out here, the ocean and all. And when things were 'beautiful', their picture needed to be taken! As she pulled the iPhone out of onee of the Bag's many, she let out another scowl of many. Screw her mother for not letting her take the good camera! Her mum was very protective of her equipment, mind you. She snapped a couple of pictures and slipped the (suckish) phone back in.
"Really?" Miranda asked Olivia. Eh. She didn't feel it. Probably because she was wearing tennis shoes. At least she brought all, erm, 'portable' stuff, just the way she liked it! She'd take her tennis shoes of sooner or later. When they got to the cabin, that is.
Nathan looked out from the carriage and saw the beautiful island below them. They were slmost there. The carriage came on for a landing but it was quickly apparent that the angle was. The carriage crashed slighly into the sand. Nathan took a nose dive into the sand. He quickly got up and laughed it off. His freinds were right by his side and they would be spending a holiday together on a tropical. Yet he could already hear complaining. What else was new.......

Nathan called out, ”Guys, we are on an exclusive tropical island, lets just have fun, no worries, no cares. We are all Hogwarts graduates. I say we live it up and have a party. And even if something were to go wrong, we are full witches and wizards now. We can handle anything”, Nathan said ending on a grin.
Evelyn hopped out of the carriage and looked around. "This is so beautiful," she said kicking off her shoes so she could walk around barefoot in the hot sand. With a wave of her wand Evelyn's suitcase came to rest on the ground. She looked up to see who else, but Tim flying on his broom. It was starting to annoy her how much time he spent on it. It was like his baby and Evelyn didn't enjoy that. "Timmy come down here and join the party," Evelyn whined in her most persuasive voice the actress had.

It was like his baby and Evelyn didn't enjoy that. "Timmy come down here and join the party," Evelyn whined in her most persuasive voice the actress had.
Time lowered his broom so he was levitating next to her. "Come Evelyn, lighten up. It's only the first day, I have an entire week to spend with you." Tim was starting to get annoyed at her jealousy. He had a career to think about, one that requires him to have his broom. Plus, he wasn't really doin anything. Just sitting on his broom. But, to keep from getting into an argument, he hopped off his broom, and rested it next to his bag. Instead, he took out his most prized item: the first snitch he ever caught. He began to play catch with it.
Aden looked out at the ocean around him. It was beautiful, and he couldn't wait to spend a week beside it. He set the suitcases down for a moment so that he could reach down and untie his shoes. There was no point in walking with nice shoes on the beach. He stuck them in his bag and then picked both his and Olivia's back up again. Yes the sand was warm, but not unbearable. He laughed a little to himself and shook his head. "You realize that you're going to have to get used to it if we're going to be out here for a week" Aden said tilting his head to the side.
Aden could just picture it now, Olivia would be spending the entire week out by the beach with a book in tow. That would be what she considered heaven. He however would spend his week tormenting himself with thought's of her, per usual. He listened as she explained where they would be staying. It sounded great and he couldn't wait to get down to the cabin. With that Aden hollered back towards the cabin, "Come on mates, lets get going."

Olivia glanced at Miranda as she hopped off of the carriage and smiled. "Yes, just a bit," she said with a nod of her head as Nathan followed Miranda off of the carriage. What was surprising though was what happened. Had he... really? Really just... dive into the sand? Like, seriously? Because Olivia would never ever do that in a million years but still, the sight was quite hilarious. She giggled quietly and nodded.
"Exactly, Nathan, it's going to be an amazing trip, isn't it? Just the six of us all," Olivia sighed, contented. For a week before they never spoke to each other again even if they promised to owl each other. Chances were that wasn't going to happen. Olivia giggled again when Evelyn started to whine. They would always be the same though, right? Olivia sure hoped so. She turned to face Aden and shrugged.
There was a lot of sand. And Aden was right. "I know, but I don't have to get too used to it because it's only a week," Olivia pointed out with a smile on her face. Because after a week, she could choose to never go to a beach again if she wanted to. "Yes! Let's get going!" Olivia said, clasping her hands together after a clap before doing a quick head count. Everyone was there. She opened her bag and pulled out her little green planner. They were in the right place, at the right time. At the perfect time, actually, because it matched up exactly to the time on her planner. "Come on!" she said, before she pulled out a ring of six keys, starting to walk towards the cabin.
It didn't take long to reach the cabin, it wasn't far at all. She stuck a key into the door and turned. And voila, they were there. They would be there too for seven days. Seven days with her best friends. "Welcome to Newuka," she said, in a brighter tone than before, dropping her shoes by the door and turning around. Her sister had not lied, this was definitely a nice place.

Miranda let out a low whistle, out of pleasure, at the sight of the Cabin. Wayyyy better than she had expected!!! The perfect place just to, sit down and write!!! Sigh. She couldn't wait to get started! She could already see a plan for a story forming in her mind, all about this trip. She'd have to, just so she could remember her last good moment with her best friends...
Tears came to her eyes, thinking about leaving her Best Friends. She just, couldn't do it! But work was work sadly. She quickly blinked away the tears so, of course, no one would notice. It would ruin the trip for everyone! The Journalist set down her duffle bag, kicking off her Tennis Shoes. Felt good after being in them for, I dunno, a few hours? Eh. Didn't matter now, seeing the shoes were off and they'd arrived! "Welcome to Newuka indeed!" She said with a giggle, scanning the place once more. Beautiful place, it was. Unexpectedly, she drifted off, thinking about...Nate..... Miranda shook back into consciousness. She blushed, hoping nobody had noticed. Why was this happening! She didn't like like him at all! Just stop thinking about him that way! You don't even like him! She told herself for like the millionth time. Best Friends can't like eachother period! At least that's what the former Ouff told herself...
Tim walked into the house, and made a whistle similar to Miranda's. This place was really something. He had always had a semi big house, but it wasn't ever this clean. He let his stuff rest on the floor next to the island in the kitchen and ran to the couch. He jumped and landed, on his back. "This couch is really comfortable." I could get used to this. When Evelyn first brought up the trip, Tim could easily think of other things he could do. Like Quidditch. But, being here, with great flying weather, he was glad he came.
Tim looked up and caught Evelyn's eye. "Come, my dear, join Tim on the couch." He had refrained from saying 'your Tim'. He hated the thought of belonging to someone. It made him feel like he was being tied to one person. He had a hard time accepting that he had a girlfriend. Not because he didn't like Evelyn. It was because he hated the idea of being attached to one girl for the rest of his life. He liked flirting with girls, without the glare of his girlfriend.

Nathan smiled toward Olivia. She was certainly getting the idea. He followed her toward the house. The outside looked more amazing then any house he had ever seen in his life. And right next to a beach too. This was gonna be one fun week. He could not wait to see the inside of this place.

Just before Nate went to enter the beach house he saw Miranda look at him and her cheeks were rosy, was she blushing. Ohhhhhh Myyyyy! He smiled back at he in a rcertain way that he meant to mean I like you. He was never quite sure about anything when it came to Miranda. Her quiet aloofness had always intriegued him. A weeks time I have to make an impression, who knows what could happen.

Nate then entered the house and saw Tim already calling Evelyn to him. Really!!! "Awe. come on Tim. Are you really gonna be acting couply with with Evy all week now!!", Nathan asked sarcastically with a chuckle.
