Janus Thickey WardHas your role-play reached its natural conclusion or fallen under a barrage of spells? If so, it will be kept here for permanent care.
Life for Calpurnia has been a lit easier since she had been at Hogwarts, she's popular, she's the Captain of the Hufflepuff Quidditch Team. She's has amazing friends and she has feelings for her best friend those feelings that she has for him have been there since she was in her third year and now being in her sixth year just needs to tell him before he gets married because she has a feeling that he feels the same ways about her.
Now it's December and there will be a Christmas Ball it will be held in the Great Hall for students in their Fifth to Seventh years if you're not a fifth year you better hope that you know someone well enough to ask them out because this will be the Ball of a lifetime so full of drama, heartbreak and even a few secrets being spilled out in the open.
This will not be the term that Calpurnia thought was going to be great and drama free because she has a dark secret and that secret will ruin her life if it gets out in the open. She won't have any friends at all.
Not after Christmas Eve she won't.
_______________________________________
So all of the characters will have some descriptions about themselves but you can't just copy and paste you have to go into more detail about who they are and what made them that way and some details likes that. I also made some bio pictures for all of the pictures so that none of you can say that you couldn't find any pictures.
SPOILER!!: Characters
Calpurnia Eldritch - BowtiesAreCool
Medea Winters - iBeJenn
* Medea Winters is a fifteen year old Ravenclaw in her sixth year at Hogwarts. She is the most amazing friend and best friend that a person could have but like any other person she has a dark secret. Now if you look at her you won't know that she has a secret but then again most Ravenclaw's don't look to have any deep dark secrets they leave that to the Slytherin's because well they're good at that. But Medea is a troubled girl, her parents died in a car crash on a way to a meeting for the Ministry to meet some muggles in America and now Medea has to take a job every summer to take care of her two little brothers that just started Hogwarts. She wouldn't know what to do if they weren't at Hogwarts. She really worries about them and so she made a deal with the Devil and decided to try and kill her best friend Calpurnia Eldritch.
Raven Crow - city_girl_95
*Lovely Raven Crow, a seventeen year old Slytherin in her very last year at Hogwarts is out for blood well just revenge really. She has had this hatred for Calpurnia Eldritch since her second year. She couldn't believe that a first year could be popular so fast. To Raven no one can be as popular as her and if they even think about trying to be popular Raven will end that persons popularity right then and there but Calpurnia's popularity is hard to break so Miss. Cross decided to team up with Medea Winters and help take down Calpurnia and her popularity.
Lydia Allegheri - TakemetotheBurrow
* Lydia Allegheri is only a fourth year but she is very wise and has traveled to many schools and she really feels home here at Hogwarts. Lydia lost her mother when she was only three years old and then she had to live with her father who travels around the world for his day job and then at night he writes lovely little stories that he used to read to her when she was little. All the students and teachers call Lydia the brave because she's the bravest Gryffindor that has ever been. She hates when she hears some gossip about her new friend Calpurnia Eldritch. She has gotten really close to Calpurnia and considers her to be her best friend. She knows that Calpurnia is truthful and would never lie to her. Why would she have a reason to lie to her...to anyone at all really. She's a Hufflepuff and Hufflepuff's don't lie unless it's for a very good reason.
Percy Black - Child of a Half-Moon
* What can be said about Percy Black? He's a Seventh year Hufflepuff that is dating Raven Crow and they couldn't be happier with each other and plan to get married in the summer. Percy is best friends with Calpurnia Eldritch and they have been best friends since before they were both at Hogwarts. They have grown so close to each other lately that he has grown to have a slight crush on her and he has told only one person about this crush and that was to his other best friend Damien Forlorn. Percy knows that Damien would never tell a soul about his little secret because if Raven found out everything would go up in smoke and Percy would fear that Calpurnia would get badly hurt.
Xavier Van Alberict - kayquilz
* Xavier Van Alberict is a student from one of Germany's magical schools. The school he went to told him that he was way to smart for their school and sent him to go to Hogwarts for his sixth and seventh year. Xavier is new and he doesn't know what to feel about a new school but he was glad when he got sorted into Ravenclaw because he knew that he would fit in that house most of all. When he came to Hogwarts in October he met a girl name Calpurnia Eldrtch and began to fancy her but little does he know that someone else has very strong feeling for her and once he finds out it will change everything.
Damien Forlorn - Herminny
* Damien Forlorn the dark knight of Gryffindor, the best friend of Percy Black. Damien has always been that beautiful mysterious person lurking around in the shadows of they corridors at Hogwarts. He what ever girl wants but the girl he wants is no interested in him all or it could be the age difference o three years. The poor Seventh year hottie has feelings for Miss Lydia Allegheri the fourth year Gryffindor. But he knows her really well now because they're on the Quidditch Team together and this year he is the Captain so who doesn't want to date the Captain? Her he guesses.

Mother: Teresa Allegheri Father: Carmen Allegheri Siblings:None
Personality
Lydia isn't afraid to speak her mind, though she always tries to do so in a respectful manner. She isn't one to believe gossip and instead, makes up her own mind about situations going on in the school. A fierce friend, Lydia often puts herself in harms way to protect those dear to her. The fourth year is always willing to listen to someone's problems, giving advice based on her own experiences. She isn't one to brag and she definitely doesn't take praise well, which is why people referring to her as brave can be quite draining.
The Facts
Lydia lost her mother, Teresa, when she was only three years old. Teresa was a witch working as a Potions Analysist and during one of her assignments was poisened. After the loss of her mother, Lydia's father Carmen, a nature photographer, was forced to cart her around with him on his travels. Carmen didn't know what to do with his daughter, especially after she started showing signs of magic, but did his best to raise her right. The two became incredibly close and while he was quite busy during the days, leaving Lydia with many nannies, he made up for it. Nights were spent journeying through time and space into other worlds, many created by Carmen himself who was a writer as well.
Without any brothers or sisters around growing up, Lydia was in the company of adults until she was old enough to attend school. This is the reason for her maturity at such a young age. Her early schooling was hard for Lydia, especially since she did not spend much time in one place. She found it hard to feel completely at home anywhere and instead, poured her heart into reading. She learned all she could about the places she traveled and grew to be quite knowledgable about the different environments she was exposed to.
When Lydia finally came to Hogwarts, she felt at home immediately. She found great acceptance with her peers and had a passion for learning all about magic, something her father could never help her with. Her adventurous nature and willingness to stick up for friends gained Lydia many supporters as well as many haters. Lydia's best friend at Hogwarts is Calpurnia. She cares a great deal for the older Hufflepuff and spends lots of time with her. Calpurnia is the one person who Lydia feels completely comfortble sharing her secrets with. This is because she knows Calpurnia is kind and truthful, a hufflepuff to the core.

I come from insolence.
Mother: Sandra Kensel Alberict (nee Putrierch)
Father: Abel Sanders Alberict
Siblings: sadly, none.
And I am more than just a brain...
Xavier was born to the very wealthy Sandra and Abel Alberict when they were 20 years of age. Having been very young and just married, the two were ignorant of how to raise a child well. Since Abel's father had recently died and left the business and his entire life savings to his son, the family was pretty well off. Xavier was raised in a huge manor in Germany, and he was raised by his main nanny, Fran. He would consider her his mother in many ways. He writes only to her while at school, and he is fairly positive that she is the only one in the household that remembers his birthday. Fran was 17 when she started to watch the two-year old Xavier. He rarely sees his mother or his father's faces more than twice a year.
Xavier had led a normal life(for a rich kid) and is pretty much molded into a bright and promising young man. He may be rich, but he isn't spoiled. He likes nice things, he knows it, and he likes things his way, but he knows when he is going too far. Fran has helped him to become the young man he is today.
Xavier is very smart, and his German school was just becoming too mundane. He couldn't take it anymore. His parents had heard that Hogwarts was the best place for bright young witches and wizards, and so he shipped there. Xavier didn't mind; he wouldn't miss his parents. And although he is smart, he knows how to blend in fairly well. He can hold a conversation with pretty much anyone. He is very friendly, and he is a peacemaker. he can't take chaos.
He only truly shows his intelligence in class. He can spew out almost anything about any subject matter. He is organized, and he likes things in order. he cannot take craziness. He always looks well putogether because he was raised that way. He is polite to his elders, and he follows rules. However, Xavier is his own character. He follows rules, but he does what he wants. There's no way Hogwarts would ever truly expel him, so he knows he's safe to do as he pleases.
Overall, he is smart, but he is not a bighead. He knows his intelligence, and he tries to reign it in for those who...aren't. He has little patience, especially for people who are...slower than he. He is polite and friendly; and he LOVES a good time with friends...and he has a crush on a certain...Hufflepuff.
gah, sorry this is so late. but tis okay now, it's up!

We Can start. So everyone will be down at Hogsmead and the girls will all be picking out their dresses and the guys will be hanging out for some butterbeer. I'm just gonna RP a guy that is useless so that all of you know what to do if you RP the guys. My guy character will be friends with all the guys to make it easier and he will be Calpurnia's older brother. (Seventh Year)
Calpurnia fixed her bright pink scarf so it was around her mouth and neck to keep her warm from the ice cold winter breeze as she walked down to Hogsmead all alone. She was told my Medea to meet her town there at three o'clock today. But at the moment she was about five minutes late. She knew that Medea would yell at her about this but when Calpurnia walked into the little shop with all the ball gowns on racks and some very pretty heels
stacked on some little white shelves. She took off her scarf, jacket and mittens, she shoved the mittens into the pockets of her jacket and hung the jacket up on the coat rack. The shop keeper smiled at her and offered her some hot chocolate and Calpurnia couldn't refuse it at all. She looked around the shop to find a fourth year named Lydia and of course Slytherin's great Raven Crow. Calpurnia sat in a soft comfy chair and waited for Medea to arrive.
Calpurnia look at the little silver watch on her small wrist and she was shocked to see that she had been there for an hour already. Medea was never late like this. Unless she was in the back trying some ball gowns on? Calpurnia shrugged and sipped some of her hot coco.
Liam knew that the purple hoodie that he wore wouldn't be warm enough for this cold weather. It had to be a matter of time before this light snow fall to turn into a horrible storm. He didn't want to be locked down here all night. He wanted to be locked away in the Gryffindor Common Room before the storm hit but he wanted to visit here first so if there was to be a storm then it would be his fault for coming to down here for some butter beer.
Liam walked into the three broomsticks and felt the rush of hot air hit him as he opened the door. It felt good. He found a big table where the guys would meet him. He looked around the place and wondered if anyone was going to come through the doors and walk over here and sit with him. he hoped it was someone he knew.

Xavier sauntered down the street between the shops in Hogsmeade. He was glad to be free of the castle for the day, for even though he loved studying and learning, he still needed his breaks sometimes. And a butterbeer sounded just PERFECT right about now.
The boy whispered an old German tune taught to him by his nanny, and it suddenly made him feel quite homesick. He sighed as he pushed open the heavy door to the Three Broomsticks. One glance told him that none of the boys were here yet. Well, he expected that Percy and Damian were probably up to something: good or bad, they were most likely having fun, at least. Xavier ordered a butterbeer with a little extra spice, and waited patiently for the bar lady to fix it up. Gah.
You should probably be looking for a date...rather than just lounging around here... he scolded himself, but almost immediately he dismissed this thought. The girl he wanted to go with...well, she didn't even know he existed. it was truly something to lament about.
Then, from the corner of his eye, he spotted Liam. He must have missed the boy, what with his thoughts brooding within him. he waved at the boy, and shot him a sly grin as he waited...

He set one down in front of Xavier and smiled sliding his own drink onto the table across from Xavier and sat down.He looked at the boy. He gave him an excited smile. "Hey mate. What you thinking about?" Liam asked him.Was he nosy? Yes, yes he was but he wanted to know about his friends lives and he wouldn't tell anyone at all because he knew that his friends wouldn't go and tell anyone else his secrets at all. At least he hoped not.

There were several things that Medea disliked; one of the things that got on her nerves the most was lateness. Punctuality was a must and being late was never an option, even if it was fashionably late. Medea shivered in the cold just slightly as she stuffed her hands in the pockets of her jackets. Her cream colored scarf was wrapped around her neck and her favorite watch shimmered on her hand. She couldn't believe she was late. She was never late. She disliked being late. She was usually the girl who showed up twenty minutes earlier for everything. Medea pulled her hands out to smooth out her hair and fix her hat before she opened the door of the little ball gown shop. Though she had money now, she knew it wouldn't mean a thing if she couldn't carry out with the terms of agreement with him. The very thought weighed heavy on her heart as she looked around the place, the soft chime of the bell welcoming her along with the warmth the shop provided.
"Calpurnia?" Medea called out loud. She unwound her scarf around her neck and unbuttoned her coat. She hung her coat up and stuck the scarf into the sleeve of her coat. At least she'd know it was there. She looked around the store, her leather boots making almost inaudible sounds as she walked.
Spotting her friend, Medea smiled, cheeks still a little red from the cold. "Sorry I'm late, I couldn't find my watch this morning." Which was also weird because she always knew where her things were. Organization was very important after all. And no, she was no OCD. She just had issues with things that weren't clean or organized. She flopped down on a seat across from Calpurnia and gratefully took a cup of hot chocolate from the shopkeeper with a polite thank you. "So are you excited?" she asked, crossing her legs and fixing her blue and white striped cardigan.

Calpurnia blinked and heard her name. She sat up in the soft chair and took another sip of her hot coco and was now cold. "It's been an hour and to be honest I was late to and I still got here." she didn't know what she was freaking out at Medea but she was and that wasn't normal. It could have something to do with the stress of having no date all but she had someone in mind though so that really didn't matter? Right?
"Sorry." she told her best friend. "I am really, really excited." she smiled brightly. "So what color so you plan on wearing?" she asked her, trying to remember if Medea already told her.
She wanted to ask herself if it was so bad to not know the color that Medea was going to wear to the ball but at the same time she knew that maybe at least she would understand.

Lydia walked slowly through the snowy streets, coat collar pulled up against the cold, looking for the dress shop. The fourth year had no expectations of going to the ball but had heard her friends were shopping for gowns, something she wished to witness. Plus, she was pretty good at giving advice so her services might be needed. Hugging her arms around her middle to keep the chills she had at bay, she spotted a shop window filled with gowns. "Ah-ha!" She said triumphantly, headed for the door.
When Lydia opened the door to the shop, warm air assaulted her. She smiled at the sensation, removing her gloves and sticking them in her coat pockets. She looked around and spotted two familiar faces. Good, they're here. Unbuttoning her coat, Lydia slid it off and onto the nearest coat hanger. She then approached the two older girls.
"Merlin's beard it's cold out there." The fourth year said, reaching for a mug of hot chocolate on her way by the shop keeper. A smile was given to the kind woman as a 'thanks.' "So, how's it going? Find any keepers?" Though from the looks of it, neither girl had had much luck in the dress department just yet.

Damien walked down the streets Hogsmeade looking at the windows and the items within all the different shops. He turned the corner and saw a brand new quiddich broom shop. In the window there. A Hovalt infinity Man this certainly think a lot of themselves He looked closer and saw that it supposedly reached from 0-1000 mph in a seccond and came with a spell to put on yourself so the body is not torn apart from the pressure. The price, 1000 galleons, typical. He turned and headed ond saw some his freinds through the window of Three Broomstcks. He entered the pub and walked over to his freinds, "Hey Xavier, Liam, mind if I join you?".
Liam ordered two smallish butter beers and found Xavier at a table. He smiled carrying their drinks.
Xavier looked up at Liam, and smiled again at the kid. "Nothing too appealing, mate," he replied with his rough German accent. He still wasn't used to the British/Irish way that everyone spoke at Hogwarts. He was used to the harsher sounds of his people.
"I'm just trying to decide if I should go to the ball or not..." he said with a roll of his eyes and a smile. He took a swig of the butterbeer and chuckled. "Who are you gonna' take?"
He knew who he wanted to take...but she was..occupied by other people almost ALL of the time. How would he EVER get her alone to ask her? Plus, since he was so new, she probably barely even knew he existed!

Xavier turned his head towards the voice of Damien...he smiled and gestured to the seat across from himself.
"Of course not!" he laughed and ordered a butterbeer for the boy without hesitation...money could buy good first impressions. He didn't really know the two boys well, yet, but that could change, if he tried hard enough.
"Liam and I were just discussing the dance thing. Who'll be escorting you?" he asked curiously. Damien was always so...to himself. Very introverted. Xavier had only thus far seen him be really animated with his best mate, Percy. "Say, where is ole' Percy? I was beginning to think that the two of you were inseparable!" Xavier gave a hearty laugh as his eyes light up in excitement. Sure, he talked differently than they, but he was just like any other kid. maybe a bit smarter...but that didn't matter, really. He knew when to behave intelligently, and when to behave normally.

”I am not sure who I am taking to the ball yet. I have a few options open though”[I] Just not the option I want, sigh, shake it ] ”And Percy wanted to spend a bit more time in Zonkos then I did but he should be here shortly. Say, have you guys seen the new broom shop that just opened up here. They have one that can go from 0-1000 mph, with a spell so the speed does not tear the rider apart. Before you know it someone will come up with a spell so we can all see things going at top speeds, hee hee”.
