They say your home is your escape from the stress of your life. Well when you work in the ministry department known for dealing first-hand with accidents and catatrophes, that escape is certainly needed and Tasha Starr, The Human Resources Director is no different.

Shades of purple, beige and other neutrals abound within this country home from the large kitchen to the owner's comforting bedroom. It is a welcome abode for Miss Starr to entertain friends and guests however owling ahead (pming) is advisable and
appreciated seeing her work and her boyfriend keep her busy.

Rooms:

Living Room: Bright and airy room filled with windows located on the east side of the house. A beautiful stone fireplace is centered along the end wall and is
the main
connection to the floo network.

Kitchen: An inviting room large enough for cooking for both private cooking for one or
two or entertaining for more. Its walls are a deep plum complemented nicely by buttery beige cabinetry with the chance addition of stainless steel.


Master Bedroom: A lilac- inspired bedroom both cozy enough for cold British winters and cool and light for springs and summers


Plot:

she's striking out on her own with a home of her own to go with her new job as she awaits the future of her relationship with Gavin.

[Grrr..Meow]

Tasha got up from her restful sleep, streaching up towards the sky she gave out a big yawn.she pulled the blanket away from her and swung her feet over the bed, went to use he washroom quickly and changed into some jogging pants and an over sized sweater. Tasha made her way down stairs to the kitchen, she needed some coffee. With a flick of her wand she got her hot cup of coffee and headed out into the back garden, finding a nice place on her grass she summoned a blanket and one of her books so she could start the mornig relaxed before she needed to start clening. She lifted her head up to soak up the rays smiling as she did so.

Her coffee now done and her book started ( yet again ) she got off
the blanket, folding it while walkig in side. She takes her elastic band off her wrist and puts her hair up on a high pony tail.she walks over to her stero and taps it with her wand and it automatically tunes into the weird sisters. She starts to hum quietly to her self walking cleaning the bath room, Tasha wanted everything to look nice for when gavin was coming over, for she just moved in
not to long ago and she wanted to impress her boyfriend. It took her about three hours to finish cleaning, like the muggles do, she likes to keep busy and that was surely going to pass her time. She ran upstairs and took a quick shower and hen started to get dressed for he was going to be coming at my moment.

When Tasha had told him of finally finding a place of her own that she ahd purchased, Gavin had tried to volunteer to help move her into the place, feeling it a sort of duty as her other half. But she had begged off, insisting that she had plenty of help from family so the place would be a surprise when he finally came over to celebrate a sort of housewarming between them.

Making plans for a free day one weekend, Gavin had cleaned up after his own errands, the man now dressed in a nice shirt not too dressy and a pair of slacks. A bouquet of ivory freesias where in his hand as he apparated to the address he had been given, the blooms a favorite of Tasha's. Getting his feel of the location, he spotted the house off in a close distance and walked closer along the drive, heading up the path to the front door once he reached it up the the small porch upfront. He then knocked on the door, patiently waiting for some sort of response.

[Grrr..Meow]

Tasha had just finished putting on her lipstick and she tool one final look in her full length mirror. She somewhat matched the inside of her house, wearing white long shorts with a silky purple top and her hair was, she was wearing a singled pearl necklace with matching ear rings. She looked at her watch, as soon as se did this a knock was at the door. Jinx her black car was meowing at her feet,she was so excited she push the cat aside with her feet, as the cat gave off a little hiss.

Tasha bound down the stairs and ran to the door, she flung the door open and saw Gavin with her favorite flowers, they were so pretty. Tasha jumped and hugged Gavin and giving a kiss on his cheek
"I'm so excited that your here, sorry but your gonna have to be blind folded because I want to show you as a surprise" she said
while giggling, she went behind him and blindfolded him. While taking her flowers, she took his hand to lead him and managed to whisper " thank you I love them" she couldn't help but give him another kiss, and the surprise of her new house tour began.

Having been glancing around momentarily as he waited, Gavin turned back once the door opened just in time to get an arms full of Tasha as she proceeded to jump into his hold. He couldn't help but smile and laugh at her antics, returning the hug as best he could while still securely holding the vase of flowers in his right hand to keep from dropping it to the ground in the process.

"Hi..." he greeted with a brighter smile, releasing her once she pulled away."Oh..ok," Gavin replied somewhat hesitantly though still agreeing to her demands as she moved around behind him to add said blindfold onto his eyes. He soon found himself in the dark...literally, easily letting Tasha take the flowers. "You're quite welcome," he whispered back, smiling into the kiss before obediantly following her lead into the house.

[Grrr..Meow]

Tasha carefully put the vase down on the little table in the hallway. She lead Gavin to the living room and stood infront of him "okay, I'm taking off the blindfold, tell me what you honestly think" she took it off and she stood back to let him take it all in.

He followed close behind, not wanting to trip on anything. Though he trusted Tasha to keep him away from such things, Gavin did remember she had a cat so one had to be careful of a feline's perchance to wander under foot. "Alright," he said at her warning, looking around once he could see. "Very nice and airy," he commented with a smile turning to look at her.

[Grrr..Meow]

Tasha smiled when Gavin said it was light and airy. " I'm glad you like it, you want a tour of the rest of the place, or you can just wander around while I attempt to make a muggled styled dinner. It's another suprise of course" she said with a wink, waiting for his answer she spotted jinx about to attack her curtains "down jinx you bad kitty" she made herself laugh yet again. Tasha felt so relaxed here.

Gavin debated his options as he listened to Tasha's plans for the evening, his smile changing to a curious smirk at her wink. " I think I can manage my own little tour so you don't have to worry about it as well as cooking," he answered following her gaze to the feline as its owner called him by name. "Care to join me, Jinx?" he mused rhetorically with a chuckle. "I'm sure you know the secrets..."

[Grrr..Meow]

Tasha giggled when Gavin asked her cat jinx if he wanted to go on the tour with him " Im sure jinx will be a great tour guide" she left them in the livingroom and went into the kitchen and started to make shepards pie, she hoped Gavin would like it. She could hear their foot steps as she washed her hands. Tasha couldn't help bit smile, she could get used to this. The whole time she was cooking she could hear faint conversations as they moved from room to room, well a one sided conversation that is. Dinner was almost ready, so she went into the dinning room so she could set up the table while placing the flowers in the middle of it all. Tasha waited for Gavin to find her in the kitchen so he could help carry things to the dinning room.

When Tasha left them alone, Gavin started slowly wandering through the house, the feline in hot pursuit. The talking to himself or rather the unanswering Jinx kept him occupied as he went and hopefully warming his small companion to himself more and more as his owner's other half. Eventually the smells of home cooking had permeated to the second to last spot on their tour and the charms worker made his way back in the direction he had already seen the kitchen.

"Mhmm It certainly smells good," he replied with a smile, gingerly leaning on the island as he watched Tasha finish up the cooking.

[Grrr..Meow]

Tashas smile grew bigger once Gavin returned. She finished what she was doing and flicked her wand at the food, it insantly started to float and zoom towards the dinning room " just follow your nose" she said while laughing. As they made their way to the place where the food was headed she took gavins hand " I missed you, I know we haven't really seen each other, due to work and me trying to set up my new house, I just missed you" she told him again.

Tasha made her way to her chair and plate and jestered Gavin to do the same. The sheppards pie was steaming in it's tray. " hope your hungry , I made loads of sheppards pie all in the muggle way. she laughed while placing the food on to each plate, while their goblets filled with ice cold water.

Gavin wrinkled said nose at the comment, the animangus more then able to do just that...follow his nose. The canine sense of smell a wonderful thing abd one of the more permenant traits of his ability. He followed along, smiling as Tasha too his hand. The man using her hold on his hand to lift it to his lips and kissing the back of her hand. "I missed you too," he echoed with a smile before they separated, each to their own chair as Tasha gestered to his own.

"I would say I am, but the smell would work its magic regardless," Gavin remarked with a chuckle as he shifted his seat closer to the table and his companion once he was settled. "Cheers love," he added raising his glass of water to clink momentarily before lowering it back to the table to cut into his slice.

[Grrr..Meow]

Tasha started to eat " oh boy I sure can cook" she said while praising herself. "how do you find it?" she asked him. "you know since I have my own place sure your going to be staying her a lot, I have a dresser for you if you'd like, and made some room in the washroom for your stuff?" she asked him while starting to blush.

Gavin looked up after taking a few bites, swallowing as he finished so he could speak. "Its very good," he replied truthfully with a smile across the table at her. Taking a sip from his glass he listened to her continue aware of the blush that crept across his girlfriend's face. "That's very nice...thank you. And a reprieve from Ryan..." he added with a teasing chuckle not that that wasn't the plus of him being able to stay over.

[Grrr..Meow]

Tasha smiled when Gavin said that the food was good, she let out a mental sigh of relief."well there's more dinners to come for you my love" blushing deeper now."I wasn't really thinking of Ryan when I did it, you can stay here as long as you would like because we won't be seeing each other as much as we were when we worked on the same level, it's going to be tough not seeing you near my desk, you have to come visit me. this was more if a plea then a request. "so what do you want to do for the rest of the night, I have a bunch of movies?

Gavin couldn't help smiling more and biting back a chuckle as Tasha's blush bloomed to a deeper color. "I know...it just came into my own mind," he assured her before nodding at her reasoning as he had just taken another bite. "Yeah that will certainly be a change to have to deal with," the charms worker agreed. It had been a surprise but Gavin couldn't really hold it against Tasha seeing as it was a promotion and he was in fact proud of his other half even if he wasn't the most comfortable with her being around Borr and other personages there on Level One.

Must ask Wes or Sam to keep an eye out.

"Well I will certainly be up to visit," Gavin said with a smile, catching the meaning of the words in her tone and eyes. "That sounds like a good idea, curling up together on the sofa watching a movie," he mused smiling over at Tasha at the thought. Her being on her own was definiately going to be a plus without others around hanging around watching them. They had dealt with that enough at work without during personal time.

[Grrr..Meow]

Tasha finished her dinner, wiping her mouth with a nap she asked "are you done aswell, because I can just bring both plates into the kitchen" she said while smiling that he told get he would visit her in her new office on level one. She couldn't wait for them to start watching a movie and get to snuggle up together. She started to get up holding her plate and walking towards her love.

"Uh huh all done," Gavin confirmed with a smile, the silverware placed neatly on top of the plate as he moved to hand it over to Tasha before getting up himself. "Alright. Thanks and I can set up the movie then for us," he suggested figuring to help up where he could. "Any ideas or preference on what we watch?" the charms worker asked seeing as it was her movie collection and he only knew a few of the titles she had from previous watchings together. Not that he cared much preferring to give her the choice anyway.

[Grrr..Meow]

Tasha grabbed his plate and went into the kitchen, she put the dishes into the sink and waved her wand and let the dishes clean themselves. Gavin called to her " oh you can pick, it doesn't matter" Tasha had a huge collection so she wasn't going to worry about his choice. She started to put things away, once those were done Tasha moved to the living room and se took a seat on her couch, wrapping herself in a blanket while Gavin looked through her DVD collection.

Gavin made a face at the answer he got back from the other room, not sure of what to choose out of the collection. Turning back, he started to look over their many options to titles that stuck out to him as Tasha finished up in the kitchen finally stopping as his gaze landed on an oldie but a goodie. Taking it from the shelf, he set it up in the player and turning, smiling as he spotted his girlfriend already curled up on the couch patiently waiting.

"Nothing like a classic," he mused pressing play as he made his way to the couch himself and sat down beside Tasha.

[Grrr..Meow]

Tasha made room on the couch as Gavin made his way back to her,she flopped open the blanket "I've made some room for you" she said while letting him sit. She turned her attention to the tv screen and waited for Gavin to press play as she snuggled into him placing her head on his shoulder.

Gavin shifted into the spot left for him, taking the offered edge of the blanket to rest over himself. "Ahh...perfect," he replied with a smile, turning his head to kiss her cheek sweetly just as the opening credits started to role grabbing their attention back to the screen. His arm sliping along the back of the couch as Tasha leaned against his shoulder.

"Hold this… and this…"

Sam handed over his game station and games to Frida while he got ready to head back around the house. He wasn’t TRYING to be a creeper or anything but he wanted to surprise his friends Tasha and Gavin. What better way to give a house warming welcome than to have their bestest friend crawl through a window?! In Sam's opinion, NOTHING.

"I'll be back."

He gave Frida a little grin before dashing around the house to find an open window to crawl through. Every window he passed was closed so he gave up looking for an open one after a few seconds passed, and he just pulled out his wand and pointed it to the nearest window. Once he unlocked it, he slid the window open and pushed himself up over the side, allowing himself into the house.

HOLD ON a second.

The man looked around and noticed not only was he in the house but he was also in the kitchen! Being the true hungry man he was, he went looking for something good to eat, knowing fully well his buddies wouldn't mind Sam feeding his hungry stomach. He found the Sheppard's Pie on the counter and after finding himself a fork, he sat down and began to finish up the pie. Mmm, so good!

Now he was just going to wait in here until someone opened the door for Frida.

"Why?" Frida asked again, a little more demanding than before, though it was for nothing. Sam had already started to make his way around the house. "Sam! Get back...here." Even as Frida was speaking her final words, the man vanished around the building, leaving Frida alone, and a little peeved. 'Typical man.' She thought and rolled her eyes to herself and gave Sam a generous five minutes.

'Where could he be?' Frida wondered and let out a sigh, growing tired of waiting for Sam to turn up again. 'He better not be ensnared in anything...'. Frida knocked on the door of Tasha and Gavin's home. But because her hands were tangled in cords, she used her right foot instead.
