Dodging students monkeying about, Salander went after the trolley cart looking for something good to bring back to the compartment for himself and Lexi. He fished for his money pouch and dropped a few galleons on the cart as he helped himself on some meat and pumpkin pies, then filled his arms with chocolate frogs, cauldron cakes and a couple of pumpkin juices.

Mmm. It wasn't that long since he'd had his breakfast but weirdly enough as soon as Finlay stepped onto the train he got hungry again. Not that he really minded because he was totally going to go and eat some more sweets. Hence why he was wandering at a nice pace towards the food trolley. Marie would probably poke him for not being healthy, but he wanted some sweets. Mmm. It seemed Sal wanted some sweets too, which Finlay thought was pretty epic. Alternating between piling on the meat pies and the chocolate frogs the Slythin lad turned his head at the familiar voice "Hey Finn!..." he greeted the Ravenclaw Prefect. He looked back down at his overflowing arms and laughed "Well this is gonna be mine and Lexi's stash for the trip back, dont really want to have to stand back up and hunt for food again" And other than the overwhelming desire to not leave Lexi's side again once he's gotten comfortable in their compartment heh.

"And you? Are you a huntin and a gatherin for a certain blond Slytherin also?"

Ahh. That was who half of the food was. Well he could forgive Sal for that really. "Sure...." He grinned, knowing that he really had just come for himself, but still, maybe he could get some sweets for Marie too. Not that she really ate them that much. "You and Lexi seem to eat a lot." He grinned, giving the lady at the trolley a couple of galleons, and grabbing some chocolate frogs, and a packet of bertie botts. Those sweets would be okay as long as Neptune didn't come, and see the Bertie Botts.

Oh....was he getting sweets for Marie. "She's always on about me being healthy, so i dont think if she'd really approve." Finlay laughed, shaking his head. Oh dear.

He watched the other lad grab go for his share of sweets and laughed again when he heard him speak about Marie "So you're on a health diet? Well no wonder your binging out when you can." he joked.

All the walking around had made her hungry, hungrier than she was when she had left the compartment. When she got to where the snack lady was, she sighed when she saw there were a lot of students around.

She subtly pushed her way through, careful not to hit anyone or anything...when she finally reached the trolly she pulled out her pouch and said "Can O have 2 chocolate frogs, a licorice wand, and a box of bertie bott's every flavor beans?"

Finn had to go to the prefects compartment to do whatever it is they do in there, so Marie decided to go for a walk before she fell asleep.Heading towards the back of the train she almost ran right into the lady pushing the food trolley.

Oops. She should probably watch where she was going. Now that she was here though maybe she would get something to drink.

He was still wearing the jacket with the collar folded up and sunglasses on and slightly sagging jeans, but Jake had figured that now he wasn't trying so hard to be GOOD, he could go and get some SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETS.

Mmmm, sugar.

Reaching the trolley, Jake realised there was someone in front, though he didn't focus on who it was. He simply waited his turn.

Things between him and Sophie had been so tense that Evan could feel the friction. So, to get some fresh air and have a normal conversation in which he didn't have to avoid eye-contact, he hardly excused himself from the prefects compartment, and headed directly towards the food trolley to get chocolate.

He sighed at the sight of a long row with a few people waiting in line. Still in his school robes, maybe he could be priviledged with his prefect badge? He dismissed the idea at the moment it popped in, though. He was not going to misuse his badge. Not yet. So, hands in pockets, looking for his money--where was it?--he eyed the people and saw Marie with Jake between them.

"Hey," he called out to her, making his way next to her. He looked at Jake, raised one eyebrow at his clothes but Marie's normal hair caught his attention more. "Back to normal at last, eh, cotton candy?" he teased with a grin. Personally, he had liked it. He quite failed to understand why she despised it.

Lexi made her way to the Food Trolley FINALLY. It was ridiculous that there were so many bloody students in the corridors. MEH. Scootching this way and that she finally made her way up...

Taking a deep breath she smiled at Marie and nodded her head and gave Jake a little wave as she waited her turn for her food stuff. HURRY UP. Sheesh she was so hungry she could eat a hippogriff. For real.

On a health diet. "Oh no...im not on a diet." He'd never been on a diet, and there was no way he'd ever go on a diet. "Marie just doesn't like me eating too much junk food....when I'm around her." It was a totally different story when she wasn't there...

Marie had just paid for the orange juice she was holding when she heard her name. Turning to see who it was she was surprised to see Evan and Jake both standing there.

Jake. Just the person she had wanted to talk to at the feast but didn't get a chance to thanks to the situation that happened at her table.

However, it was Evan that had called her name. "Hey Evan. I missed seeing you at the feast." But apparently he didn't miss seeing her. "More like putrid pink." Yeah, she knew what he meant when he said cotton candy. He had totally seen her nasty pink hair last night. Which explained why he probably didn't come talk to her.

Stepping out of the line she moved so Jake could get what he wanted. She still wanted to talk to him though, say some things to him... before they got off the train. She was about to turn back to Evan and talk to Jake later but decided against it. If she didn't say it now she would either lose her nerve or the chance to talk to him. She was sure once he was with Neptune there would be no chance of anyone talking to him. So here she stood, blurting out an apology to Jake. "Um Jake. I'm sorry for the way I've treated you the past couple of years. I know most of the time you didn't deserve the dirty looks or mean comments I said to you or about you. For that I really am sorry." Deep breath here. "I also know you hated it when I stayed at your house two summers ago. But honestly, when I first got there I didn't know you lived there. It wasn't until after your dad said I could stay that he told me you were his son." It was also then that she had promised Lawson she would be nice to Jake. A promise she had not kept very well. She knew she could go on and on about the things she was sorry for but she also knew it was kinda pointless to bring everything back up. She also had a feeling that he wasn't going to believe a word she was saying but she meant it, every word of it. "I don't expect you to forgive me or even to forget what I have done. I just want you to know that I really am sorry and that I hope you are successful in whatever you do now that you are graduated."

It was then that she noticed the new arrival to the line. Lexi. And she was smiling at Marie? Well that was... different. Maybe she was trying to turn her life around too just like Marie. Not saying anything she just gave Lexi a small smile too, then she turned her attention back to Evan and Jake. Yep, probably best not to say anything to the girl. She had nothing to apologize to her for anyway.

Smiles and smiles. Not that she truly had a single word to say to Marie, either. Seemed ignorant to keep a feud going, but oh well. She wasn't taking the first step to TALK IT OUT. Lexi had nothing to apologize for either... as far as she was concerned. CLearing throat she tried to start moving between the others.

Dude... all she wanted was some pumpkin juice. FEH. Lost cause. She would come back later when it was... less crowded. Mhm. Turning on her heel she simply sauntered away. HOPEFULLY Sal would bring her some things to eat and such so she wouldn't have to go through the corridors with the less desirable people about. Meh.

Jake ignored Evan as he came in.

He caught that LOOK. At his clothes. Which were completely normal so therefore didn't earn any look. Rarr.

The girl was Marie. As soon as Jake realised that he was standing behind Marie, the she-snake he hated most. Jake looked around and saw Lexi as well, who he gave a little smile and wave to, before turning back to the trolley when he heard Marie move out of the way. Then he moved to the trolley.

As Marie spoke, Jake gave the illusion that he wasn't listening. But he was. And he was trying to remain calm and not sad and not angry as much as he could. By the time he smiled at the witch with the trolley and handed his money over, Jake was ready to face Marie, who had finished talking a minute or two again.

Taking off his sunglasses, Jake folded them up and hooked them in his collar before focusing on the girl so she could SEE his red, slightly puffy eyes. Eyes that were kind of watery but recovering.

"Josh tried this, too," he said thickly, placing his purchases into his pocket, well aware he was blocking the corridor. Oh well... this needed to be said now. "To apologise." What was it those NTs said? "What's it called... 'locking the stable door after the horse has bolted'?"

It sickened him.

"You wait until I'm about to leave and never see you guys again because you don't want it on your conscience, am I right? Tell me... if I was in my sixth year and coming back next year... would you apologise?" Would she? Jake doubted anyone would have apologised or tried to make amends...

But there was something stopping him from acting exactly as he did with Josh. For example, Marie didn't start the exchange as she always had. There was a possibility that this was legit.

"If you knew it was wrong, and you knew I didn't deserve it, then I have no idea why you did it. Marie, you are a bully. You even tried to make me think that my dad proper thought of you as his kid... like he preferred you, and you KNEW that would get to me. You even mocked the way I get jealous. But there's a reason I got jealous so much..."

Deeeeeep breath.

Jake wasn't shouting as he spoke, though. He was getting pretty emotional.

"Do you know the reason? Or why that got to me? Do you know why I'm so different, why you could always get to me so easily? I'm autistic and you took advantage of that, whether you realised it or not. You and your friends are a big part of the reason I hated it here and for that... I can't forgive you."

He really had willed up here, but Jake brushed the tears away impatiently.

"Not yet."

And that was important.

Ky walked up to the food trolley, looking down at all the assortment of foods there she bit her lip questioning what to eat. The rumbling of the train on the tracks under her not bothering the girl anymore she was after all more used to it now. She looked fully normal right then and there. Sighing, she smiled waiting in line - pulling the beanie she had dawned further down her head, attempting to hide most of her mess of hair. Maybe thats why it had been a mess - because of wearing hats.

She ordered, and paid for a sandwich and a bottle of water brilliant just what she needed. Water that is. She also picked up a few licorice wands and smiled as she handed the money to the person operating the trolley. Now off to find an equally less awkward compartment yet again - or the same one...she had no idea, after all she had the strange urge to become friends with that one Quidditch playing sixth year. Still, leaving the trolley area she smiled wondering where she would go after all the girl didn't have that many great friends - she had been what you would call the nerd who never got out much until now. Hair always a mess, inc on her face - literally, and horrid little glasses that made her feel like she had been blind as a bat which she most likely had been.

Selina went up to the food trolley and stocked up on every piece of candy she could get her hands on. Her hands were filled with chocolate frogs, bertie botts every flavor beans, fudge, acid pops, and ice rats. This would make her trip a whole lot better. The last night at Hogwarts had been... stressful. The whole year previous had been very positive and Adam had left it on an awkward note. But she could stand the abusive relationship no more. And Kurumi was wronged that much was obvious. Candy made things better... so much better.

Approaching the troll, noticed Selina waiting in line as well. "Hello Selina," she smiled coming up behind the now second year red head. The girl still looked a little upset about the events of last night.

Selina jumped at the voice who had come up behind her. All of her candy, her beautiful beautiful candy, cascaded out of her arms in her moment of fright. Trying her best to prevent them all from hitting the floor she could not stop the fall. It seemed like slow motion as they each crashed against the floor. Thank Merlin they were all still in their wrappers.

Getting down on her hands and knees to collect her candy Selina looked up at her friend, "Oh hey Kurumi!"

Selina's eyes followed Kurumi's to the ground. She could only assume that she was looking for the one chocolate frog that was smart enough to find freedom from the guillotine of Selina's mouth. While she looked for the frog Selina heard Kurumi's voice like a whisper. Almost as if it was rushing through the wind, an enchantment passing through.

"He what?" Selina could not believe her ears. Adam Burn never apologized. Adam Burn never cared.

Kurumi wasn't sure how to interpret the look on Selina's face. It was a cross between an angry dragon and a confused cruppy. Nervously, Kurumi nodded and looked up sheepishly at Selina.

"He did," she replied. "He said he was sorry for being selfish."

She ran her fingers through her side ponytail and looked at the trolley. She had come over here with the intention of purchasing a licorice wand after all.
