The prefects have their own compartment. They hold a meeting every year and you can find help here if you need it. Prefects' only, please, unless you have been invited or need assistance! |

This was it. His final ride to the Hogwarts Express, yes.
Cedric was somewhat confused of what to think at the moment. His mind seemed to take a dizzying spin and just went blank subsequently. Or one could just say that there was so much going on in his mind that he inadvertently lost track of what he was pondering over at all.
Listlessly, he slid open the compartment door after some deliberation of whether or not should he still partake a seat in the compartment where goodbyes and goodlucks were sure to be exchanged amongst its occupants; tears, hugs and handshakes were just as necessary to add unnecessary drama. More often than not, tears come along with goodbyes. He'd witnessed that kind of thing happen last year at this very same compartment.
He decided to take a seat beside the window, chiefly for the sake of avoiding drama as much as possible. He was sad to go, sad to leave what he considered a home. Why do good things always come to an end? As much as he wanted to hide his sadness, the apparent downcast look in his eyes contradicted his decision to not let his facade fall down. It wasn't long before he started to wonder where were his soon to be former co-prefects. Ugh. Couldn't they reach King's cross already?

Terrifying. That was exactly what this day was. Her last ever train journey home on the Hogwarts Express, the last time she could proudly wear her Head Girl badge and know that she had done something great in her life, the last time she would see some of her friends for over a year. Just walking down the long corridor towards the Prefect Compartment felt like a death march. She didn't want to go. It was clear in her eyes.
And as many younger students ran through the carriages, excited to be back home for the summer and ready to have fun, every inch of Trixies body said that she would much rather be at School than waiting around at home for something to actually happen.
Though there were a few things that she was looking forward to now that she was going. First of all moving in with her boyfriend Freddie, starting a brand new chapter in her life. The thought of that bought a tiny smile to her lips. The second thing was seeing her best friend Oliver again. It had been a while since the two had met up and throughout the whole school year, you could tell the Slytherin missed her bestie. So much so that the snake bangle he had made her was still hanging delicately off the eighteen year olds wrist, where it had been since the start of term.
She had reached the compartment in a matter of minutes, opening the door to see her fellow graduate, Cedric sat by the window. Giving him a weak smile, the Head Girl sat opposite, right next to the window, allowing her to stare blankly out into their surroundings. She wasn't quite sure what to say. What could she? The compartment sat in deathly silence for a few seconds apart from a few tearful sniffs from the fragile girl.
This was just awful.

| Swedishfish Girl! Madame Librarian! Jess's Soul Sister! Sweetest Swede! Sophie boarded the scarlet train in the back, ushering a big bunch of excited and chattering first years in front of her. With her prefect badge pinned to her going home clothes that 16 year old brunette lion wasn’t excited about going home. Just neutral, it had been a long and eventful year and Sophie knew that spending time with her family would do her good. The prefect duties on top of her studies had put its rightful toll on the teenage girl. She wouldn’t take away one bit of her prefect year not at all Sophie just felt that it would be nice to go home for a while and relax.
After making sure that the first years found compartments without trouble the lioness prefect started her walk through the train. She waved at students she passed and stopped to chat with a few. About 30 minutes or so later Sophie arrived at the prefect’s compartment door. Peering in through the door window she saw that Cedric and Trixie were already inside. Pushing open the door the brunette stepped in smiling "Hi Trixie! Hi Cedric!" her upbeat mood sank at the look of the two 7th years faces. Sitting down next to the head girl snake who was crying Sophie put an arm around the older girl’s shoulders saying "There, there Trixie! Don’t cry! It’s going to be all right. I’m sure of it." What else could she say? Sophie wasn't the one who wasn't coming back to Hogwarts at the end of the summer holidays. The lioness hoped that Evan or someone would come and light up the mood.

| ¼ of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pls Pulling his luggage, face red, Evan made his way to the Prefects' Compartment directly, not looking at anywhere else on the way. He had decided to show up here for a few minutes, say goodbye to Trixie and Cedric and the other Head Boy whose name he couldn't remember now, leave his bag, and then leave before any awkward moment with Sophie. He had been avoiding her since the lake encounter, and he wasn't up to the effort of getting back to normal. Not yet.
Peeking inside through the open door, his heart broke a bit at the unhappy Cedric and crying sight of Trixie. With a sigh, he dragged his luggage inside, placed it in the shelf and turned to close the door. "Hi," he greeted softly, at a loss of words. He didn't know what else to say; Sophie seemed to have taken up the job to console Trixie anyway. So, sitting across Cedric, he looked out of the window again, with occasional glances at the two girls. It seemed to be a long time before he could excuse himself. At least, he still had a whole year to need someone to console him. |

Iris decided that she was going to stop into the Prefects' apartment first. Levitating her luggage behind her, the Slytherin Prefect opened the door to the compartment. She found only four prefects there. She nodded to Evan and Sophie. They'd both be there next term... Cedric and Trixie though... they'd be gone. Iris frowned at the sight of their Head Girl, obviously not wanting to leave. It was unnerving to think that she only had a year to go, before that was her, too. "... Hey, you guys."
Setting her luggage down, Iris sat down on the other side of Trixie. She looked at the older girl sadly, deciding that she didn't want to hang around in the Prefects' Compartment for long. "I'm really going to miss you next year, Trixie. You've been an awesome friend.
And Iris was being completely honest.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Patroclus Hudson | Professional Twirler Mourned and Missed
Strolling into the Compartment, Patroclus knew it was going to be a sad scene; a few o their number were getting off the train, and never getting back on...
As he pulled his hand luggage off his should, the Lion Prefect took in the faces of those present, Trixie, Cedric; this would be the last time he would see them as Students, and then there was Sophie, and the Slytherin pair of Evan and Iris. "Hey Everyone!" he smiled, weakily, twas rather funerally in here....
Sitting next to Cedric, whom he was the closest two out of all the male Prefects, he couldn't help but feel sad too, however he hid it and slapped his friend on the thight, "Buck up mate! School maybe over, but now you have the world to win over!" |

Iris looked up as someone else walked into the compartment. Seeing Patroclus - one of the prefects' who'd most likely be returning next year - Iris smiled. "Hey, Patroclus!" Keeping her eyes away from Evan - that football game was STILL a painful memory for Iris - she turned back towards Trixie. Trixie'd been such an awesome Head Girl. Iris didn't think anyone would be as good a Student Leader as her next term.
The Slytherin prefect sighed a little, looking around the Prefects' in the compartment. Everyone had been so awesome this term. Iris just hoped that who ever was going to replace them next term were going to be as good.

With a weak smile to the male prefects that had just walked in, Trixie turned to the Gryffindor Prefect Sophie who she felt wrap an arm around her. The weak smile stayed, a curtious nod of the head and then a very loud sniffle followed quickly after. This was the most horrible feeling ever, even worse than the memory loss, even more horrific then being left, twice, by two different boys. It was a feeling she was glad she wouldn't have to experience again. "Thank you Sophie" the Head Girl mumbled quietly, biting her lip to stop anything from falling or her from sobbing.
And then along came Iris. The Eighteen year old have become pretty close to her fellow Snake, she was there for her last term when she broke down at the end of term and Trixie really did consider her a close friend. "I will really miss you Iris" she said sincerely, wrapping her arms around her friend and allowing herself to cry, just a little, she didnt want to make a complete fool of herself.
"Thank you all for all the hard work you put in this term, I really appreciate it and I'm going to miss you all" she wibbled, though every word she spoke was the truth. "Dont forget me" she finished it, but it came out as more of a soft and distraut whisper.

| Swedishfish Girl! Madame Librarian! Jess's Soul Sister! Sweetest Swede! Sophie kept her protective and consoling arm around Trixie’s shoulders as Evan Cartwright pushed open the door with his luggage in tow. The lioness met his eyes briefly as he passed her to sit down "Hi, Evan!" she then trailed off not wanting to ask about if he was angry with her. It wouldn’t be right to then and there. They had to think about Cedric and Trixie and to show them consideration in their difficult moment and not start something which could potentially end in something unpleasant. Sophie was saved from coming up with safe conversation topic when Iris, another prefect entered. Beaming up at her the lioness said "Hey, Iris! I see you’ve brought your luggage with you too. Is leaving your luggage in a compartment nearby unsafe?" She had left her luggage and pets with what she felt were two responsible first year lions. Shouldn’t she have done that? Suddenly unsure and worried Sophie almost left the prefect compartment to go check on her luggage.
Before she could do that though Patroclus her co-prefect showed up in the doorway."Hey, Patroclus!" Sophie was glad when her friend sat down and tried to get Cedric to talk to them and not be so gloomy. The Hufflepuff hadn’t said a word since she had entered the compartment. When Trixe finally spoke thanking her for being there, Sophie squeezed the girl’s arm and said looking into the blond’s eyes "Your welcome, Trixie! Anytime you need a hug or someone to talk to let me know and I’ll be there." She kept her arm around the head girl’s shoulders as Trixie spoke to them all."We will never forget you Trixie and we are going to miss you very much. Prefecting won’t be the same without you." The lioness responded meaning every word. Oh this was all too sad!
