First Floor Corridor

Hugo peeked around. Emptyness. Just to break the silence he made a sound with his mouth. Nothingness. He burped really loud, and it seemed to echo through the corridor. Ah, nice. That had been stuck since breakfast. Hugo didn't know how long he had been there, with his books under his arms. It was just so nice and silent. He loved it.

What...had that sound been? It sounded like a clabbert was in the corridor. A clabbert! This sounded like something she needed Eino for. What was the best way to capture it and release it back into the wild? Wait, weren't those dangerous!? Kurumi didn't even have her dragon hide gloves with her!

Deciding that her best option was to crouch down on the ground and crawl towards where the noise had come from so as to, you know, not startle the poor creature. Kurumi began her army crawl down the hallway...

"What in Merlin's name are you doing?" he asked. This really was something for Eino. But Kurumi? Was she looking for baking ingredients on the ground? Why was Kurumi doing an Eino-y thing? Maybe they WERE becoming a couple! But... Adam... Eino... Eino wasn't interested in girls yet right?

Hugo shifted his position a bit. This was... Awkward. Hugo had just burped really loud and Kurumi was on the floor.

Figured as much. But, perhaps one could have escaped from the Care of Magical Creatures area. It was possible, right? After all, hadn't the Headmaster brought one to their Defense Against the Dark Arts final exam? "Oh, right," she laughed nervously. She probably had looked ridiculous. At least it had been Hugo who had found her and not Cookie Hater. "I was trying not to startle it. I thought that stay low would make me look less threatening." It worked with cats anyway. "I was on my way to see Professor Zookara actually. Just had a few questions for him about non-magical philosophy." That, and she just really liked him.

Hugo laughed. That sounded good. Hugo was interested in anything academical, really. Because of his Ravenclawness. "Non magical philosophy? Interesting." he said out loud. "I could come with you," he said. "If you'd like of course," he added. He didn't want to bug her.

Kurumi laughed. She had forgotten that she was talking to a Ravenclaw who would be interested in that sort of conversation. If it had been about anything else, Kurumi wouldn't have minded. However, this conversation was bound to get personal and Kurumi wasn't sure she was ready to open up that side of her to Hugo, not just yet. They had, after all, finally talked for an extended amount of time on the train to school.

"Um, if you don't mind, I'd rather talk to Professor Zookara alone this time," she said shyly looking at the ground. She sure hoped that she hadn't upset Hugo. "It's nothing against you." She began waving her arms in front of her face. "I just, um, well, it is complicated and....involves my family."

"Well I was going to the library so I can walk you there for a bit," he said, seeing as it was on his way. It was time for his daily reading hour. Well, couple hours. He had a free period. YAY!

Kurumi smiled sweetly at Hugo. She wasn't really in that much of a hurry and there was no harm in chatting. "Sure," she said as she rose from her kneeling position. "I'd like that." Kurumi began searching the area for a moment. Where had Walnut gone? He had been with her until she had heard the clabbert...erm...Hugo making noises. "Hugo, have you seen Walnut? I think he got startled and ran off."

Hmm, Kurumi hadn't thought about that. Perhaps it did work on animals, but she didn't really want to risk it with Walnut. "Knowing that cat, half the tapestries in the castle will be torn down as he went flying through it," she sighed as she continued her search. Kurumi reached into her pocket for some of the tuna fish cookies she always carried with her to appease Walnut.

Cass tucked her hands inside her robes and sighed. It was nice to have some quiet for the moment...

Ice followed behind her mistress' steps. She could hear her footsteps on the quiet marble floors.

"Meow" She said softly. She didn't like places that were too quiet.

Elliott had been thinking about taking a little trip outside, but the guy really wasn't completely sure whereabouts on the grounds he wanted to go. Hmm.. he though about this as he walked through the corridor on the first floor. The Whomping Willow was sounding a little too intense for his mood at the moment, but there was plenty of other outdoor things to do, yeah? Of course.

Emma walked past the first floor corridor on her way back to the Slytherin Common Room. She had just seen an old friend in the Gryffindor House at the Lake, maybe she'd see someone along the way?

Were there any misbehaving students down this corridor?

Trixie strolled quickly down the walkway, glancing from left to right, checking up on the students even though, it wasn't technically her turn to do so. But she liked to keep an eye out, she didn't want to miss an opportunity after all right? But after reaching the midpoint of the first floor corridor, the Slytherin decided there was no point in looking any further. There was hardly any body here, most of the students, first years mainly, would be in lessons right now and the only few others that were around were doing absolutely no harm in standing around like lemons, talking to one another. Though she did spot a cat prancing after her owner, which of course made the girl smile, she loved animals after all.

Her attention however, was immediately drawn over to a blonde student who seemed to be heading down towards the Common Room. Her eyebrows raised as she quickened her pace to catch her up. A brief glance at her face and the Head Girl immediately recongised her, the face was too similar to her own not to recongnise. . "Going somewhere?" Trix put on her best stern and authoritative voice, one that didn't sound much like her own. The seventeen year old caught up, swerving in front of her cousin to stop her from progressing on any further.

Emma heard footsteps behind her, which were followed by a voice. Was it Alex? No the voice was not manly enough... Was it Sel? No.. She didn't think so.. Was it a Professor? Eep.. Maybe it was Dianna? Or Trixie?... No.. Trixie would probably be telling of first years.., she thought.

Then a familiar seventeen year old female blonde appeared in front of her. "Hey Trixie! Umm.. Am I in trouble?" she asked with an innocent look on her face. Then she hugged her cousin and let out a sigh of relief. She smiled. "Goodness! I thought you were Lafay for a minute!" she exclaimed, giggling. Fewww.. "So how are you? How does it feel like to be Head Girl?" she asked.

Adam walked into the corridor, Tigger trailing him right on the heel of his sneakers.
Tigger meowed desperately to get some attention, he thought he was the king and everything was all about him.
Bending down Adam patted Tigger's head then made Tigger dance, which to anyone, looked like Adam was teaching the kitty how to fight in a boxing match.

Kurumi walked down the hallway with Walnut at her heels. She had had a busy morning in the Charms practice room teaching and had just spent a little time in the kitchens making some chocolate mint cookies for the two of them to share in the common room. Of course, she had made plenty extra for anyone else who she may happen to run into either in the room or en route. Turning the corner, Kurumi blushed and a smile rippled across her lips as she saw Adam dancing, or was it boxing?, with Tigger.

Walnut weaved through Kurumi's legs and stopped to tilt his head to the side and just stare at Tigger. What was that cat doing?
