Although I love all the creative RP's out there, I'm a huge fan of canon and canon character RP's. So here it goes.
Horcruxes are powerful and dark things. Because they are so rarely used, many people are not aware that they only work when the rules bound to them are followed strictly.
Voldemort is aware of these rules, which is why he understands that when a horcrux is destroyed, another cannot be destroyed for twenty-five years.
He's also aware of three other things:
1)His diary, and the horcrux inside, has been destroyed.
2)Harry Potter is a horcrux.
3)He needs Harry Potter's blood in order to resurrect his [Voldemort's] body.
So Voldemort is left with a problem. If he takes Harry Potter while he is a boy, he will be able to return to his body, but he will not be able to kill the boy. He knows this is foolish and will be his ruin. The only way is to take Harry Potter's blood, resurrect his body, and then kill the boy immediately. Which means he must wait, until 2018. So Voldemort waits, and he plans, and he builds his followers. As he watches Harry Potter's life unfold, he sees the golden opportunity. 2019 will be the year, the year of the Dark Lord's return.
Meanwhile...
Harry Potter and Ron Weasley, aurors, work with the Order of the Phoenix to track information about Voldemort and his followers. They look into the mysterious disappearances of witch Helga Snuffle and her wizard brother Harold Snuffle.
At Hogwarts, Albus Potter, Rose Weasley, and Scorpius Malfoy have started their fourth year. They are excited to learn that the school is hosting a special tournament--the triwizard cup. Although excited to hear who the champions will be, they are not so excited as the seventh years, who are the only ones capable of entering. The day of the drawing arrives, and everyone is shocked when four, not three, champions are named. Albus Potter's name comes out of the goblet. He is a triwizard champion.
Rules and Basic Info
-Everything not relating to Voldemort and his actions post Prisoner of Azkaban is canon. So Sirius is alive, but still hiding out, and Pettigrew has escaped and is with Voldemort.
-All canon marriages and children apply. So although Remus and Tonks are alive, so is Teddy. As are all the Weasley and Potter and Malfoy grandchildren.
-Draco Malfoy did not become a Death Eater. There was no reason to. However, he knows his father and mother still have ties to the Dark Lord. His wife, Astoria, does not believe in there being a difference between pureblood and muggleborns. It is an issue they have avoided talking about throughout their marriage. Draco has not taught Scorpius to hate muggleborns (as Astoria would never stand for this), however his arrogance about being pureblood has rubbed off on his son. Draco is torn between his parents and his wife/son.
-Harry and Ginny have James, Albus, and Lily. Harry does not know Snape's secret, and so Albus's full name is Albus Remus Potter. Snape is alive and takes pleasure in being mean and snarky towards Harry's children (yes, even Lily, though maybe a little less towards her.)
-Harry knows he is a horcrux.
-Ron and Hermione have Rose and Hugo. Ron is an auror, like Harry. Hermione is a lawyer.
-The ministry is still corrupt, although Harry, Ron, and Hermione are trying to change that.
-Everyone who died post-PoA, is alive. Sirius hides out at Grimmauld Place, which is still the headquarters of the OotP.
-Members of the Order include, but are not limited to, the golden trio, all Weasley adults (including Fred, who is alive), and Neville and Hannah.
-Dumbledore is still Headmaster of Hogwarts. Snape still teaches potions. McGonagall still teaches transfiguration. The DADA professor is Archibald White. He may be played, if anyone is interested, or he may be a background character.
-I will pick houses for the main children, but their personalities/motivations/loyalties are up to you! Except for Lily and Hugo, who are starting at Hogwarts. Their houses will be up to those who play them. Also, the houses and years of the other Weasley children will be up to the the player.
The story will begin with the drawing of the names of the champions. After that ceremony, and Albus's subsequent selection, the parents will be called to the school. The Triwizard Tasks will NOT be the same as in GoF.
A Few Rules:
1)You may take two characters, but not two main characters. So you may take only one main character, and then any other character from the other lists. You may take two supporting characters if you wish.
2)I'm pretty open with what you want to do with the characters personalities and loyalties, but I'm trying to keep it fairly canon. So even though the characters won't be their parents, they will somewhat resemble them. So, for example, Scorpius will be a prick. He can't be raised by Draco Malfoy and not be. That's not to say he's dark or that he has to hate the Potters/Weasleys, but ya, he's not Mr. Nice. Similarly, Albus, who is the main character, might have a different personality than Harry, but he's not about to go skipping off to Voldemort gleefully.
3) Please only take a main character if you RP regularly and are going to be faithful to the RP.
4) If two characters are listed together they count as one character.

So that's it. Just write what character you would like, as well as what house and year they're in if applicable (main characters have already been chosen for them, except for Lily and Hugo, see above). Also, include a little about them--their personalities and loyalties (and more, if you're so inclined.)
EDIT: So there was one problem I thought of. How do we get Draco and Astoria around others so that they can RP? The plan, see, is to have to locations, one for the Order, and one for the students. Characters will at times cross over between these places. But Draco/Astoria doesn't fit into either of these. So here's what I've worked out.
Draco is the head of Magical Sports and Games at the Ministry. As such, he is a judge in the triwizard tournament, and is staying at the castle for the year. Astoria is also staying there, though whether she moves between work and the castle is up to DracikinsLuver4321.

No, they're both wonderful! I'm looking forward to both characters. Oh and Roxy can be in 7th year. That way she gets to interact with people closer to her age.

Rose Weasley has inherited her mother's brains and her father's temper. While her wit and wisecracks often serve to get her out of trouble, they more often serve to get her in it. She is a good student and hopes to be both a prefect and Head Girl, but that doesn't stop her from joining her older cousins for a good prank once in a while.
She is closest with Al and Lily, but she is good friends with most of her other cousins as well. Personality: Harry is exceedingly courageous and fiercely loyal to and protective of his loved ones. He is strong-willed and unafraid to stand up for himself and others, and while he is still a bit hot-tempered and impulsive, he is less so now than when he was a teenager. Background: Harry is the only child of Lily and James Potter, who both died over a year after his birth on the evening of October 31st, when Voldemort arrived at the Potters’ home to murder them due to a prophecy that had been made by Sybill Trelawney. After he graduated Hogwarts, Harry became an Auror (and eventually became the Head of the Auror Office), married Ginny Weasley, and became the father of three children: James Sirius, Albus Remus, and Lily Luna. The only downside to what should have been a perfectly normal life with his family is the fact that Voldemort is still alive and, with it, the knowledge that Harry will have to die if the Dark Lord is ever to be defeated permanently. He was informed of his being a horcrux by Dumbledore, and while he is grateful to know one more piece of information that will be the end of Voldemort, the idea that he has to leave Ginny and his children weighs on him. The thought of never seeing them again is horrifying, but if it means they will have a better world to live in, he is willing to do it. She believes in equality and fair treatment of all people – Purebloods and Muggles alike – and would not hesitate to take house points or hand out detentions for bad behavior (since, as a prefect, she could do that), even from her own house. Background: Victoire is the firstborn child of Bill and Fleur Weasley and has two siblings, Dominique and Louis. After she graduated, Victoire joined the Order of the Phoenix and is helping with the effort to stop Lord Voldemort. Also, she has had a crush on Teddy Lupin ever since she was a girl, and so she is glad to be his girlfriend now, though she hopes that he will someday ask her to marry him. Teddy is a Metamorphmagus, like his mother, he can change his appearance at will. He is a very nice person, and rarely gets mad unless you mess with his family, then you better look out. He is always wearing a slight smile. Teddy Lupin works as an Auror. Teddy is the only son of Remus and Nymphadora Lupin. He attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and was sorted into Gryffindor. Once he graduated from Hogwarts he became an Auror like his godfather Harry, he also joined the Order of the Phoenix. He is in a relationship with Victoire Weasley and has a small surprise for her .

Despite having suffered a great deal of prejudice in his life due to his lycanthropy, he managed to retain an ability to see the good in almost everybody and is extremely forgiving. He also had an excellent sense of humor and, when he was a student at school, was one of the Marauders. However, unlike his friends, he never partook in bullying, being personally against such behavior, and hence could be described as the most mature one of the group. He even became a Prefect in his fifth year. Also, unlike his friends, he was able to, or at least would try to maintain civil conversation with those he did not get along well with, a notable example being Snape.

Personality: Astoria likes keeping everything in place. She's very much her own woman and won't let anyone think otherwise. Despite being a Slytherin, she has a kind heart and likes giving to others. She enjoys hearing people's problems and works them out in the best way she can. Astoria can be convincing and has a way of getting what she wants one way or another. She's very good at being a mother and tries raising Scorpius in the best way possible. She's a loving person and cares deeply for her family and would do anything to help defend her families' honor.
History: She came from a very uptight and arrogant mother and easy going father. Her mum would try to get her to learn things like a lady and from the beginning she would only act that way if forced. She enjoyed running around in their backyard and climbing trees. Her older sister Daphne would always interrupt her revelations in the flower beds when Pansy was over by loudly remarking on how ugly she was. Maybe it cut down on her self esteem a little. When she arrived at Hogwarts she was put into the house her mother would be proud of. The girl focused most of her time on becoming friends with kids in other houses and studying when she was in the Slytherin common room. Astoria did not like Draco at all from day one when he decided to be rude to her. Though she did remember him from the parties her mother threw and the play-dates when they were younger. She honestly couldn't stand him after that. He was mean and only made fun of her being friends with muggleborns and being so into her homework. She finally had enough of him and punched him in the face, stalking away. From that day on Draco had a certain respect for her and as she got older Astoria noticed how he seemed to be maturing in a way. Somehow he wooed her away at another one of those dinner parties and the relationship went from there. Her mother's always supported Voldemort very much while her dad takes no side. Of course she will fight against him no matter what.
When she graduated from Hogwarts she ended up working in the Department of Magical Creatures and Beings in the Spirit Division most days at the Ministry. Since she can be so persuasive she can often get spirits residing in people's homes to leave. Scorpius has grown up since he was little and she'll always love her son and want what's best for him. Unfortunately she knows some of her husbands arrogance is still there and that's rubbed off on her son.
