Ancient Runes - Final: START HERE

You walk into the ancient runes classroom and there is a bag of runes, a quill and parchment on each desk. At the end of the classroom there is Each bag is locked onto the table until you can write down three of Rowling's runes and their meanings.

When finished, leave the parchment face down on the desk and taking the now unlocked bag, walk through the curtain.

ooc: RP yourself entering, taking the test and leaving, then PM me the three Rowling runes and meanings. I prefer to receive 1 PM, but 3 is fine too. This thread will close on December 7th, and no more PMs will be accepted.

RUNES! The subject was fast becoming one of his more favourite ones - even though, Fyo had to admit, it was a wonder he did not failit. It was Arithmancy that was his strength, not Ancient Runes.

But he loved it. LOVED it.

The fourth year sat down, and picked up the quill. Oooh, this should be fun. He could definitely not wait to get started!

Ancient Runes final. Great.
Destiny wasn't that great at this class, but she was no where near a troll at it. Sitting down at a desk, Destiny noticed the bag that was just sitting there. She tried to pick it up, buuut it was stuck. 'Okay..' Picking up the quill, that was not stuck, Destiny wrote down the 3 Rowling Runes and flipped the page over. This final must be a trap, that was too easy..

Taking the now un-stuck bag that was on her desk, she walked over to the curtain. Dun dun duuuuun!

Marie walked into the Runes class not really ready to take a final. This was one subject that she struggled with. Sitting at a desk closest to the back of the room she quickly read over the instructions. 'Write the meaning of three runes, sounds easy enough.'
Grabbing the quill Marie wrote down three of the runes they learned about in class, that was the easy part, now she had to write down their meanings. She sits there for a few minutes before writing down her meanings. 'Merllin, that was harder than I thought. I knew I should have studied those a little more' she thought as she turned over the parchment, grabbed the bag of runes that were no longer locked to the desk and walked through the curtain.

Kay walked into the class and saw the desks and some students already working. Kay walked over to a desk and sat down. She read the post from the Professor and picked up the quill. She wrote down the three runes, Kay wrote down the meanings and then put the quill down. The bag on the desk come up easily. She look around for the curtain. Kay got up and sighing walked thought the curtain unsure of what was going to come next.

Okay, so runes wasn't so much as difficult as...saaay, History of Magic. Well, the information from history class usually went through one ear and out the other. But Ancient Runes was totally different. At least with this subject she was okay in. Watching Destiny go through a curtain, pfft not random at all, she went over and sat down at a desk, reading over the instructions.

'Hmm, three Rowling runes.' Picking up the quill and examining it for a moment, Evelyn started on writing three of the runes down and their meanings. Once finished, she hesitantly touched the bag next to her on the desk. Feeling it move, she smirked and stood up, turning her parchment face down, and picked up the bag of runes before walking through the curtain.

Nikki entered the Ancient Runes classroom, shaking a little. This was her first year at Hogwarts and it was also her first year doing Hogwarts finals. Hopefully they would be a little more easier than the one as Mancini. Walking over to one of the empty, untouched desk. Sitting down Nikki picked up the quill and began to test.

Alright, question number one........question number ten.....question number twenty.....

Forty-five minutes later, Nikki set down her quill and flipped her test over, sighing with relief. Alright, that had been mildly hard, but not as hard as the finals back home, that was for sure. Standing up Nikki walked over to the curtains, stopping outside them for second.

Alright Niks, you got through the first part, you can get through the second, now go!

Taking in a deep breath, Nikki stepped past the curtain...

Meeep! For the whole week he couldn't get some sleep but last night when he stuffed his face in his .... well you can call them notes.. of Ancient Runes, Blake fell asleep! Not Happy! He was supposed to study.

Wiping the sweat off his forehead, Blake stepped inside the classroom. Fail. He was pretty blank right now and all he could think of was nothing. Taking a look around, he sat down on a nearby seat and gulp. Rowling Runes? Errr...he knew this..kind of.

Racking his brain, he started scribbling with eyes wide open. 1......2.....3......Done! DING DING! Beaming, set his quill aside, flipped the parchment over - hey! no cheating , grabbed the runes bag and headed for whatever there was behind the creepy curtain.

Ancient Runes was never his strongest subject.

But he at least sorta knew the Rowling Runes. This wasn't too hard... He quickly picked up the quill and started scribbling down three of the Runes and their meanings.

When he was done, he turned the paper over then got up. He headed over to the curtain and walked through it.

Michelle entered the classroom. She had to think hard to remember three of the Runes, but she finally did. She quickly wrote them down with their meanings, took the bag off the desk, and walked through the curtain.

Wesley was more confident then she had been in History of Magic. So basically she was breathing.

Taking the quill in hand, the first year tapped it against her parchment. Eyes squeezed shut, she tried to picture the runes. Think Wesley. Think.

Right. She could see them. Some of them where pretty, must most where scary. The scary ones where easier to remember.

Writing three of the runes down with their definitions, she quickly walked over to the front desk, placing her test with the other finished ones.

Unlocked bag in hand, the first year wondered if it was okay to peak inside. She almost tried to open it but stopped. Maybe she wasn't supposed to. Maybe that would be cheating.

Wesley didn't want to cheat.

Taking a deep breath, the unopened bag at her side, Wesley slid past the fabric covering before she could talk herself out of it.

Celandine was cheerful about this after the OWL exam. She walked into the classroom and sat down. She got to work immediately and wrote down three runes and the meanings. The hard part was choosing which runes to actually write up. She decided to draw them too. She wrote her name on the parchment and turned it face down on her desk, then collected the bag of runes and walked through the curtain.

Fred entered the the Ancient Runes classroom a little nervous since this was his first year ever of Ancient runes and this is the final, eeek. He read the instructions to write down 3 rowling runes and their meanings. It seemed simple enough cause he had studied this subject for hours in hopes of passing his quils so now this exam seemed like a cake walk. He smiled as he wrote down three rowling runes and their meanings on his parchment and turned it over. He then went over to ther side of the room and grabbed his bag of Rowling Runes and went behind the curtain hoping the rest of his exam would be this easy.

Ancient Runes. Probably the worst thing that Livvy could ever get tested on. That or Divination. She didn't want to do this. No she didn't. But she had to. So Livvy forced herself to walk through the door to the classroom and enter. She glanced around the room grimly and seated herself at a table and read the instructions.

BLEH. It seemed easy enough but still. Since when were exams fun? NEVER. Sighing, Livvy picked up the quill and after picking three Runes, she jotted down the meanings. Once finished, she set the quill down and flipped the parchment over. She took hold of the bag of runes and made her way through the curtain.

Fallon walked into the Ancient Runes classroom to take the last final that she would ever take at Hogwarts (at least this was how it seemed at the moment). Ancient Runes wasn't one of her strongest subjects, but she wanted to leave Hogwarts with Slytherin winning the house cup and they were so close to Gryffindor.

Fallon took a seat and looked at the instructions. Her brain immeaditaley locked up. What are the answers? she thought to herself. After some long hard thinking, she wrote down what she believed to be correct. She then took the now unlocked bag and walked through the curtain.

Oh runes. Shumeeta skipped into the place, grabbed a quill and set to work on the first part of the runes final. This was easy! Maybe the other parts would be more difficult? She thought so.

Once she was done, she walked through the curtain.

Matheu entered the Ancient Runes final and began to read the instructions. When he finished what he had to do for the first part, he turned his paper over, grabbed the bag of runes and went behind the curtain.

Evan's face was again as pale as a chalk, though it was more red now than it had been in Transfiguration final. He was not very good at Ancient Runes, but he guessed he knew some stuff. Shivering a little nervously, he entered the class and again without glancing anywhere, sat at the nearest empty desk. At grabbed the quill, tested it by writing his name on the paper. Of course it worked. There was no way he could get out now. Three of the Rowling runes... Easy.

When he was finished, he leaned back and read his answers once more before taking the bag and going in the curtain. This exam seemed to be easy... if it wasn't some sort of a tricky one.

Tiberius was conflicted, walking into his Runes final. He'd studied, but wasn't sure what he'd actually need to know. He wanted to do well, but wasn't nearly as enthusiastic as he had been headed into some of his other finals.

Plus, you know... Lupa.

Looking over the first task, Tibi quickly scrawled out three runes and their meanings on his parchment. Checking his work over once... twice... three times, he put down the parchment, satisfied.

Grabbing the pouch of runes, he continued on through the curtain.

With about half of her final exams down and another half left to go, LouAnn made her way into the Ancient Runes classroom. As she took a seat, she immediately got to work jotting down three of the Rowling Runes and their meanings. She began with her favorite Rowling Rune, the one she'd arrived at when they'd done some calculations in class. She thought carefully about the other two runes she'd like to work with then jotted down their names and meanings, as well. Next to each little name and meaning, LouAnn drew a little picture which summarized the meaning of that particular rune. When she was done, she jotted down her name and a few other pieces of information, stood from her seat, then headed through the curtain...bag of runes in hand.

Mina walked into the Ancient Runes classroom feeling quite nervous. Yes, at one point she thought it to be one of her favorite subject and one she was doing well in, but at the moment, she was feeling the opposite. She had studied, of course, but she had a foreboding feeling about the final all the same.

Taking a seat, she picked up the quill and looked at the parchment. Three Rowling's runes and their meanings weren't that hard to remember. Taking a breath, she tried to calm herself and went to work. Her mind working quickly to recall everything she had learned as her quill wrote everything down.

Checking her work not just once, but twice, she smiled and flipped the parchment over. Maybe this wasn't going to be as bad as she thought. Grabbing the bag on the desk, she made her way toward the curtain and then through it.

Josh stepped into the Ancient Runes classroom looking quite careless though he had not opened or touched a cover of any book to study for the finals. 'Ancient Runes, Ancient Runes' This should not be so hard though. He liked the classes anyway and what he liked was always in his mind. There was no need to study. No need at all. He slowly chose a set and sat down. 'Meanings of Three Rowling Runes'. Lucky she did not asked for all of them since he could remember four which was enough for tree. Scribbling down his answers on a parchment, and walked to the curtain as told in the directions.

Kat walked into the class. She took a seat and read the instructions. 'Well this should be...difficult' She thought to herself and began writing. Once she was done she grabbed the bag and walked through the curtain.

Raven walked into the room, trying not to show her nervousness; she spent most of the time studying for this Ancient Runes final and wasn't about to throw all that time away. She took a seat at one of the desks then flipped over the parchment and then grabbed the quill, working though all the answers and then grabbed the bag of runes and headed behind the curtain.
