| | School Morgue What was intended to be a storage area (one could tell by the gurneys that were missing wheels and the tower of bedpans in the corner) had become a makeshift kind of morgue, with a cooling charm placed on the room to minimize decay.
It's chilly and eerie in here, but the people who make it here don't complain much. |

Krissy walked into the makeshift morgue levitating the body, the shell that once held her beloved. Seeing a gurney that was relatively level she lowered the body onto the table. Shaking her wand arm getting blood back into the fingertips she sighed. Taking a deep breath she removed her robes that were covering the body. It was cold in here, and obviously he didn't need the warmth any more. Shuddering Krissy slid her arms back into the uniform feeling the cold that had come off of his body. looking at the fair haired prince wasn't nearly as painful as when she had first found him laying lifeless. She ran her finger over the necklace that was once his and spared a few tears. She had so many things to tend to...but for now all she could do was stare at the empty vessel and hope his spirit was in fare shape. "I'll miss yeh and yer stubborness love..." she said to no one in particular.

Kazimeriz had followed the young girl into the morgue silently. "Know that whatever else may come, he has not died in vain, Miss Moon." He laid an ancient, weathered hand upon her shoulder gently- the closest he would come to a hug with a student, to be sure. "Did you know his family? They will need to be notified by the school... Perhaps hearing it in the presence of a friend might ease the pain. For them ...and for you." He knew nothing would actually take her pain away, but once again he believed taking an action would be better for the girl. Stillness, in his experience, heightened grief.

He knew nothing would actually take her pain away, but once again he believed taking an action would be better for the girl. Stillness, in his experience, heightened grief. Krissy sighed as the ancient hand gave a moment of comfort. "Nothing we do is in vain sir. Every single action effects not only us but the ones around us." Unable to take her eyes away from the body she wracked her brain. "I may be able to contact his father, the king. It seems that there is a war brewing and I will have to contact them before I lose even more of what I love..." she shuddered at the thought of her village being attacked by the Grecian Juggernaut. "As far as I know his mother is no longer around. He never really spoke of his family in a fond sort of way, but more as his teachers in the art of battle. Me own family treated him better as a childe than his ever could." she shook her head sadly with the realization the only real love he had ever felt was from herself.
Tearing her eyes away from the corpse Krissy looked at the professor. "Sir, I hope yeh realize that Helios respected yeh. He thought the world of yeh. Many times he mentioned that if he ever lived to be as old as yeh he hoped to be jest like..." Her voice cracked a bit. "But then he'd remind me that he wouldn't make it to an old age." she shrugged "He always had to be right." Taking a deep breath she continued. "Sir? I need to ask a favor of yeh. Helios' people will not believe me if I send word that he is dead. I will be needin' a letter from a faculty member. Would yeh please? I know yeh are terribly busy, but..." She was constantly on the edge of begging professor Kazimiriz for something. If only she had begged him to end the curse between Krissy and Helios. Then they could have been legally married, but this wasn't the time for wishing things were different. "...Yeh were the only professor at the scene, and being that yeh are quite respected, I am sure they will believe yeh." She mumbled.

Hoped to be just like...? Dear Merlin in a Trojan horse. He regained his composure quickly. "But of course. We would never expect you to manage such a task on your own. The headmaster or I will contact the family, of course; but I presume that his father will want to come to the school and collect his earthly remains. At that point, I hope you will wish to be involved, be present... I think it will help you both to come to terms with what has transpired." He looked at her with open empathy. "I am truly sorry for your loss, Miss Moon. I know this is not the future that you imagined for yourself, and there is nothing that can be said that will ease your grief. But - and I speak from experience in this - time will not heal the wound, but it will dull the sharp edges, eventually."

Tis not likely he'll be wanting anything to do with Helios' remains. If that is the case I will handle his umm... preparations. Either way I feel it is me responsibility."She heard the pity in the professor's voice and she cringed inwardly. "No, tis not what I imagined, but this is the life I chose the day I fell in love with him, the fates decided the rest." she lifted her chin and tried to put on a brave face. "I am lucky to have found me soul mate at all, and I shall be grateful for the few years I had. I've got others to think of now, and there is no time for me sorrow." She knew it was time to leave the empty shell in this cold dark room, but she just couldn't be the first to leave. It seemed so cruel, so... final.

| Reese was follwing Kazi :) Yay, Hamlet! • Cathopper • Disney Fanatic • I was normal once...
Reese, with her head tilted to the side, stared at the sign on the door. School morgue? That had to be saying something, like honestly. She started to get the feeling of wanting to go home before she ended up like Helios or the other boy she knew that had died, but she couldn't leave, because she had to complete her education.
Was this a child that was dedicated to learning? Sure was.
After staring at the sign for who knows how long, she looked inside the cold and scary room towards Kazi and the Gryffindor girl. Not wanting to step into the room just yet, she stayed near the door frame. Kazi would just tell her to enter when he wanted to talk to her, right? Indeed. So, there was no need to go inside to room where the dead bodies were just yet.

She would not have her grief on display for strangers. She slipped her hand into her robe pocket and pulled out two galleons. Turning to the professor she gave a meaningful look. "If I may have a moment alone with `im, I'd like to say goodbye." She whispered knowing he would understand. Turning her back to the door as well as the professor Krissy went about her business. Brushing the hair from Helios' brow she spoke to the body as if it still housed his soul. "I am sorry I don't have any drachmas, but these will have to pay the boatman my dearest." Placing one galleon on each eyelid she spoke in Greek asking the Gods to take his soul into their embrace. Switching to Gaelic she quietly sang her favorite lullaby from when they were children. "Yeh shall always be with me love. We will be together one day... me love, me life, me...husband." Running her hand through his hair one last time she closed her eyes and silently choked back a sob. With that she turned and left the room knowing the Professor would contact her when it was necessary. Right now she needed to write a few letters, then perhaps some tears into her pillow.

Hogwarts RPG Name: *whistle* | NeeNee Omniscient Omnipotent Pie Maker Grimly set to the task of directing two gurneys full of lifeless Hufflepuff, Caroline walked right past Reese as she pointed her wand at the door, causing it to swing open, and the gurneys to roll inside without being pushed.
They rolled past Professor Kazimeriz, and Caroline thought how utterly bizarre the situation was. Three students in their mid to late teens, snuffed out, but Kazimeriz was only a year older than her great-grandmother and he was alive and kicking.
Maybe some people were too contrary to die.

As Miss Moon left the room and Miss Avalon came to take the body away, he motioned toward the empty morgue. "Come in. We need to have a little talk." he said to her.

The brunette blinked a few times, but didn't utter a word. How long has Avalon been back? Reese didn't make usual trips to the Hosptial Wing, so she sort of had a reason to probably be one of the last people to know of the Nurse's return. Actually, that was a very good reason of not knowing, but she still felt very slow and 'out of the loop' for not knowing she was back. Oh, wellllll. A little talk? The Slytherin knew she wasn't in trouble or anything, but for some reason she still scared of having a talk with Kazi, because she still had a fear of the Potions Master ever since her detention with him two terms back. She nodded her head without saying anything, and then took a few steps into the morgue and she looked around before taking a couple more steps to where she was close enough to the Professor, but not too close because she needed her personal space.
"Sir, I don't know much about what happened in the Trophy Room," she finally spoke up. "I just...I just walked in and saw Helios." Yep, that's exactly what happened.
