Pogrebin Detainment Cages

Just outside the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom sits a series of portable crates, just the right size for restless pogrebin to be detained... and charmed to be escape-proof.



It is here that you should place any pogrebin that you have captured. One pogrebin per crate, please, for once the crate has been closed with a creature in it, only Professor Kazimeriz can reopen it.

It had taken meters upon meters of rope, half a dozen cheering charms, and apparently one very effective sticking spell to get the pogrebin to the cages, but Copernicus thought it was still a job well done. At least, he HOPED the hairy little rock-head creature was still there beneath all the ropes...

"Let me open the door for you, and you can levitate it right in there," he offered to Cela. It rankled a bit that he'd let her handle the creature. Seemed awfully cowardly to him, but he knew she'd hate being coddled. He yanked the cage door open and stood out of the way.

Cela sighed a bit mournfully, the latest cheering charm beginning to wear off, "Oh I suppose." She levitated it into the cage and sighed again as she set it down. "You should make the ropes go away." Cela suggested a bit listlessly, frowning at the weird depressed feeling. It wasn't one she was used and she certainly didn't like it much, whether real or pogrebin induced. She pouted and wrapped her arms around herself, staring at the ground.

Copernicus hit himself with a rather too-strong cheering charm prior to removing the ropes, and he had to take a moment to stare stupidly at Celandine. "Hey. HEY! Put the pout away, little bitty Celly Bean! I'll... look what I can do!"

He started to do a little soft shoe dance for her, complete with hand gestures and something similar to a song that he sang for accompaniment. It petered off as the spell wore off, and Copernicus ended up standing with his hands in the air, wondering what he was doing that for. "What did you say?"

Celandine stared at Copernicus as pulled a Plymouth. She stared at him in undsiguised amusement and awe at his dancing skills. She giggled, "I said, you should probably make the ropes go away. Before we close the cage up."

She looked at the Pogrebin. "I imagine it will be pretty depressing in here when the cages are all full. Abraxans now?" she suggested, hopefully.

"Sure, sure," he stepped up to the cage and cast a careful Diffindo. The ropes fell away, and he reached his fingers through the bars to drag them free. Ugh. The little nasty pogrebin just STARED at him.

"Let's go to the nursery. Maybe... run?" He wrapped his hands in his robes, picked Cela up under her arms, and marched her down the hall. Apparently the cheering charm wasn't TOTALLY worn off yet.

Abby carries the pogrebin into the containment room. She places the creature on the floor and opens one of the cages. Abby then uses the mobilicorpus charm to levitate the pogroben into the cage. She then closes the door and locks the cage with the locking charm. Abby points her wand at the progrebin and says Finite Incantatem! The pogrebin wakes up and stands up in the cage. Abby decides to leave before the creature depresses her.

Chris Potter carried the pogrebin into Professor Kazimeriz's holding room and opened one of the cages and then hovered the pogrebin he had found at the lake. An locked it behind him. And he awakens the pogrebin with Finite Incantatem. and leaves it for the professor.

Finaally they had reached the cages for the pogrebins. Juniper lowered their levitated pogrebin so that it would not hit the doorway, and followed Clifford into the room. The fourth year glanced around at the cages with pogrebins inside. She did not want to stay here any longer than absolutely necessary. The feeling that she was worthless and destined to become unnatural. That was just awful.

Juniper moved her wand slightly as she tried to direct the levitated pogrebin into an empty cage. It was rather difficult to maneuver, so Juniper turned to Clifford. "Erm. Clifford, could you help get it in the cage?" That was why they were working as a team. Because they knew that the combined efforts of two people could get a pogrebin in a cage, easily.

"Please?"

There were quite a few captured pogrebins in here already, and Clifford couldn't help but shudder slightly. The weird feeling that one had given him was quite enough thank you very much.. and he REALLY didn't want Juniper to start crying again.

Right, it was best they did this and got out as soon as possible.

"Uhhhm. Of course, right." Clifford edged his way around Juniper and closer to the floating hairy rock. "If you can just.. levitate it right in here," he mumbled, opening the cage door nearest before grabbing a few of the ropes he'd conjured to bind the creature with. "And I'll.. lead.." He really didn't wanna touch it. Ew.

Tobi felt like he had never had so much practice with his wandwork until Kazimeriz took up a teaching post at Hogwarts again. At this rate he might actually pass his NEWTs.

As he carefully levitated his Pogrebin into the room where the cages were kept he look was rigid with concentration. (He had already dropped the the thing on the stairs once, and he didn't want to risk it again.)

Between a full body bind, having been kicked and dropped, the Pogrebin was probably out cold, but Tobi was not the kind to rest on his laurels where dark creatures, nay any creature was concerned. He was half afraid of his own goldfish.

With one hand he fumbled the latch of the nearest empty cage open.

"Okay hairy rock creature of despair," he said, "in you go." He levitated the creepy critter in and slammed the door shut, making sure it was locked. (he checked three times)

And not a moment too soon, Tobi was not a fan of this room. It was all hopeless and soul sucking. Pogrebins seemed to be Dementors that didn't quite make it.

"Thaank you," Juniper said with a quivery smile. It was so hard to smile with so many pogrebins around. But with Clifford pulling the ropes toward the empty cage, it was easy to levitate the pogrebin inside. She carefully levitated the rock-like creature inside, accidentally knocking it against the cage door a few times.

"There!" Juniper quickly shut the cage and grabbed Clifford's sleeve. "Let's get out of here."

They'd done it! They'd gone and detained that nasty, meani pogrebin!

Dark creatures - 0. Clifford and Juniper - 1. HECK YEAH!

Pulling off the think robes binding it, Clifford slammed the cage door shut so that it was stuck FOREVAAAH - well, until scary Kazi man decided to let it out anyway. Heh.

He didn't blame Juniper for wanting to get outta there sharpish, all those pogrebins were making his brain feel cloudier than usual, and with a nod, the sixth year hurried back out.

Really? What a great idea for homework Prof. Kazimeriz had...simply amazing. NOT.

Both Dominic and Miranda got affected by it, which left her and Willow with no choice but to get rid of the rocky thing she was now carrying around in mid-air. Thankfully, the thing even had ropes around it, so it wasn't going anywhere but that little cozy cage Kaika was placing him in.

"Ha! Silly thing...you ain't going nowhere" she muttered, and closed the cage...it wasn't going anywhere, right?

Oooooh..why did Prof. Kazimeriz request the creature to be placed in here? Hopefully he wouldn't let the pogrebin out again.

With the pogrebin floating in front of her, Ana walked into the Pogrebin Detainment Cages. There was already a considerable number of pogrebin in the cages.
Through all the way Ana was grabbing her wand so firmly that it just didn't break thanks to luck and probably a few protective spells.

She approached a empty cage and opened it. "Let's go pogrebin, inside!" controlling the wand she put him in the cage. Ana closed the door and checked to see if it was well closed. And then she terminated both sells the Full Body Bind and the levitating spell. The pogrebin woke up.

"Well... hmm... bye then..." and feeling hopeless again due to the dozen of pogrebins in the room she left.

Herminny was quite quick pratically running with the pogrebin in her arms from the owlery to pogrebin detainment cages and when she got there she opened up one of the cages and shoved the pogrebin in it, and thought yes, I did it, but at the time she was thinking I am so thankful that the pertrificus totalis spell did not wear off before she got the pogrebin to the cages, I would have been so dead had that happend. Herminny was starting to feel a sense aof how stupid are you, you could have killed yourself and then realized with all the pogrebin in the room that would make her feel quite down on herself so she quickly left that room to head for the lake cause all the gloom and doom was making her really want some fresh air and some uplifting spirits, so she thought, mabe I'll invite my freinds to come too.

Cedric was walking quietly with a pogrebin with his hand..he actually saw herminny with a pogrebin..

Kayla walked into the detainment area with her Pogrebin levitating in front of her. She walked over to one of the cages and opened the door and she levitated the Pogrebin inside the cage. "There you go little fella, back in your nice comfy home." Well the cages didn't look particularly comfy to her but oh well this was where they belonged. She closed the door on the cage and left the detainment area.

With her wand held straight out, aiming towards the pogrebin, Anna lead the levitated creature into the detainment center and towards a cage. She'd only been with it for about ten minutes, and its presence had already given her a rather funny feeling. She knew that if she didn't get it into a cage soon and then get herself back to the Common Room, she'd be in a mess.

Finding an empty cage near the back of the room, Anna let her wand movements guide the creature to what would be its new home. As she walked, Anna eyed the pogrebins that had already been caught. "What a depressing place this will soon be," she thought to herself. As soon as the creature was near the cage, Anna seized hold of it and then stuffed it into the cage. "There. All done," she said, once again thinking to herself. Not wasting a single second, she turned and left the room, not wanting to get depressed by staying around the creature any longer.

Pogrebin

Rian held her wand out at arms lenght, it pointing at a gray mound of something. She watched the pogrebin carefully, stopping at any move it made. It was supposed to be stunned, but who new how long it would stay that way? She looked back expectantly at Sneeze, who was following her. She expected him to get it before it got her, if it was to come back alive, or whatever.

"Any cage?" she asked, to nobody in particular.

Sneeze went and saw Rian, who had been a bit ahead of him. "Here's a cage, Rian. I'll put him in there." He took his wand up and pointed it at the pogrebin. It went into the open cage. "Good work. Let's head off, it's safely locked here."

Rian nodded and pointed her want to the cage Sneeze indicated. When it was firmly locked, she turned and smiled. "Alrighty, that was interesting," she said with a laugh as she left the room.
