Herbology Lesson Three: Planting Puffas/Fluttas

Today's lesson was not in the greenhouses like ordinarily - no, today was extraordinary. Extraordinary weather, nice and warm, called for a special lesson.

Anastasia Bunbury was seated barefoot in the student garden, chillaxing on the grass in a very very verrrry old pair of blue jeans and surrounded by puffapods in pots. This was the southwest corner of the garden where not-so-many plants were located...instead, there seemed to be long two furrows of earth flanking a pathway. Clearly it had been turned up for planting something.

"Come and have a seat! Let's chilllllll for a lil bitttt," your professor greets you with a loopy smile. "Sit sit."

Kayla made her way into the student gardens and breathed in the sweet smelling air. It was a beautiful warm day and it was good to be outside. She raised an eyebrow at the Professor's appearance but she merely gave her a warm greeting. "Good day Professor Bunbury, lovely day today isn't it?" She took a seat on the ground and stretched her legs out in front of her and leaned back on her hands.

Chris Potter walked excitedly into the Student garden and took a seat near the Professor. "So Professor Bunbury, looks like we are going to have a fun lesson today!"

Paris had been avoiding Professor Bunbury, she hadn't liked the woman when she was acting her age and now that she was regressing back to her thumb sucking days Paris really didn't like her, and that little scene with her and Cale and Anna was just well...Paris would have kicked her bony, pink bottom if she did that to Xander.

She was wearing a bright yellow jumper with purple lace up trainers that laced up her legs and stopped short of her knees. It was a pretty day out and she felt like being a bit colorful. She walked over to the turned up dirt and sat down in the dirt when Bunbury said they would just chill out for a bit.

William breathed in a burst of fresh air as he walked towards the greenhouses, bent on making it on time for once and not having to rush through his bag to find his stuff. He pondered the mystery of professor Bunbury's attire as he finally made it to the spot here class was held and waved "Hello professor, gorgeous day out today." He said by way of greeting as he took a seat on the ground and stretched.

Decked out in her very best Hogwarts uniform, Anna headed to the Student Gardens, ready for her next Herbology lesson to begin. Spotting Professor Bunbury up ahead, Anna blinked and then paused in her tracks. Blue jeans? No shoes? Dang! Anna must not have gotten the memo. Ha! Looking down at her unform and frowning, Anna put one foot in front of the other and entered the garden area. "Good day, .....Professor Bunbury," Anna said, fighting the urge to just stroll up and yell, "Haiiiiii, Annie!" Anna studied the ground for a moment, noticing the way it looked nice and ready for plants to grow there. Hmm...maybe they were planting today?? Shrugging, Anna took a seat on the ground and returned the professor's smile.

Freya walked into the garden just behind, Chris. She hesitated as she approached the garden, unsure if she was actually in the right place. But seeing as there were a couple of other students there and, um, the Professor, Freya walked over to a lonely spot in the garden and sat down, not much for talking at the moment.

It was nice to be outside, but the sun was glaring right at the girl's face. Freya reached into her bag and pulled out her extremely dark sunglasses and put them on. 'Ahh, that's better.' She thought to herself as her vision wasn't impaired in the slightest and she continued to gaze around the lawn.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!! ! Plymouth loved Herbology like a duck loves water and Cela loves candy. He was just right giddy over the next lesson. "HEEEY Professor Bunbury!" Plymouth had to pause and clap. He was just SOOOO excited.

Miranda skipped towards the seats, munching on a almost finished pear this time. Her face still had traces of mud from her 'walk' around the pathways. But eh, who would notice, right?

"Hello Professor Bunbury!"

"YOU are ridiculous," Copernicus told his step-brother with a laugh as he seated himself on the ground. Herbology was always a good time, especially when Plymouth was so excited to be there.

Daniel walked in the greenhouses skipping and hopping like a little boy who had a new toy. He was awaken today with a great sense of happiness after the Ancient runes class yesterday. He looked around and take a seat on a nearby chair which is hear the glass window. He looked at the Professor and said, "Hello Professor. How lovely the dress you are wearing today." He said with a big smile on his face.

I wasn't going to say anything about your glasses." he smiled She could be so jumpy sometimes. "Ok we dont have to talk, it is class. I just didnt want you to have to sit alone." he smiled to his friend. he then sat up straight and turned his attention back to Professor Bunbury waiting for her to start.

"Hello Professer BunBunz I mean wait no! Professor Bunbury." she said politely to the teacher hoping she wouldn't get mad over the name she had called her (which Melanie thought was rather cool anyway) or have figured out who threw that snowball... Nah that was so long ago there must be like an expiration date on the punishment or something. she reassured herself, walking over to where everyone was standing.

On the way Melanie waved over to Miranda and Ana, giving then both friendly smiles. She was in a good mood today... and Melanie liked Herbology class even if the teacher was a bit off. I mean even if she likes pink she is fun... she reasoned.

Miranda found a dirty spot and sat down, taking bite of the pear. Looking around she noticed the girl she had talked to at the stands.

Miranda waved and grinned at her. Wonder when this lesson will start... She picked out a seed from her mouth.

"Haaaaaiiiii peeps!" Annie enthusiastically greeted everyone who greeted her. She didn't get the whole 'professor' nickname, still, but it was cool. "Take a seat if you haven't already - I just remembered something."

She hopped up from the ground, ignoring the dirt all over her jeans, and skipped to the greenhouses. She skipped out shortly, pushing a cart covered with a buncha quivering bushes in plain pots with long, purpley flowers that seemed to be waving in an invisible breeze.

"So...while we wait for more peeps," Annie winked at Plymouth for some reason, "who can guess what these bushies are? Huh?"

Cela raised her hand, "Is it a flutterby bush, Professor?"

The only place worst than the Greenhouses, were the gardens. Why? Because in the gardens, Willow actually had to have physical contact with grass, dirt and many other icky stuff.

Which was exactly why the girl had tried to come up with a valid excuse to not attending to it. Clearly, she had failed to do so.

Sighing a little, and trying not to think about the fact that she was sitting on the ground, Willow watched with mid curiosity as Bunbury left to the greenhouses and came back shortly with something.

What was that? A Plant, obviously. But that was not the kind of answer Pink Bunbury was looking for, she was sure, so the fifth year remained quiet.[/I]

Cale liked this change of pace in the Herbology lessons. A little dirt was always good, and if he had another lesson in those stuffy greenhouses, he was bound to go insane. And still, even after all the chaos that had happened between Anna and Bunbury, Cale felt the strange need to impress her and do well in her classes. And try his hardest not to mess up and embarass himself. Cause that would NOT be cool.

Looking at the bushes, he tried to remember where he had a seen a picture of those plants before, because they were definitely familiar. He stared for a few more seconds before the lightbulb clicked and he raised his hand with excitement. "Oh! I remember! I think those are Flutterby bushes, professor," he said with a grin.

Tobi raised his hand, he knew it, and feared it, "It's a flutterby bush isn't it?" he squeaked.

Kayla raised her hand, "That is what's called a flutterby bush Professor" she put her hand back down, oh it was too nice out here to do work.

Anna studied the bushes for a moment, admiring the way they looked. They were soooo pretty and soooo purple. Oh, maybe she should answer now. That might help. Raising her hand, she suggested, "Flutterby bushes, Professor?"

Uh... Miranda had no idea what plant that was. It was pretty! And she knew her mother had those in the garden.

Taking another bite of the pear, Miranda sat back and listened.
