Lyra walked into the little shop as she was in need of some strawberries. She walked up to the counter as her eyes scanned the menu. Fruit salad seemed to be the only thing that was remotely close to her favorite fruit/food/strawberries were her way of life. She ordered that and a tea, paid for her food then walked over to a table and sat down at a little table.

Robert was fuming and was starting to get irritated at the fact he couldn't seem to find Lyra anywhere. So she chooses Cayden...fine... He turned a corner and saw Madam Puddifoot's cafe and grimaced. He had to keep reassuring himself that this wasn't just to see Mariska jealous or in spite of that idiot Cayden, which wasn't really hard since he did have feelings for Lyra they just weren't as...strong as they were for Mariska. Yet.

Opening the door he peered in and spotted Lyra sitting down at the table eating something that appeared to be fruit.... He walked into the shop and instead of sitting across from Lyra sat next to her, "Do you know how hard it is to find you in this place? I must have been looking for half an hour..." His tone was exasperated but he had a small smirk on his face.

"Fruit?" She pushed the bowl over in front of him and raised both brows. It seemed as though he had something on him mind but she was not about to push that issue. "Or perhaps I could get you some tea? Soothing to the nerves."

He didn't understand however why he felt so hurt because of that fact.... He looked thoughtful for a moment and glanced at Lyra. In a moment of, he'd like to say sheer curiosity but some part of him had grown attached to her and now without the strain of not knowing he had decided, he leaned in and kissed Lyra.

Three Broomsticks was crowded. Filled up with students and more students. So Sarah was bound to make her way to the not so famous tea shop, she had had so many incidents at. The sixteen year old stepped in and wave of illuminating aroma hit her senses.

Geez.

Shaking her head at the forever, weirdifying-your-system teashop- the girl walked over to her usual table by the window. The place was always empty and it was now too- so Huraaah for peace time.

Her smile faded slightly as he seemed to have a different look towards her. She swallowed as she noticed him coming closer and closer until...she returned his kiss for a few moments then pulled back to look at him. "I take it this is your better perspective?" Her green eyes looked to him as she blinked a couple of times. It was nice to have someone to be close too, even if she were missing the one she loved.

Camira was just taking a peek. Really, that was it. She had no desire to be inside of a room that was saturated with constant inappropriate displays of affection. She imagined it could get rather sickening and she planned on staying as healthy as possible.

Wow. It was so...girly. Like something you'd expect to find in those horribly cheesy romance novels. She'd read one once and had to stop halfway through. That didn't bode well for this place. At least not in her mind.

And okay. She'd seen enough. Even the large menu wasn't going to be enough to make her spend another minute in this place. Actually, nothing would except....Sarah?! No, it couldn't be her sitting at that table. Could it? And why would she be alone?

"Sarah?" She'd crept up behind her. If this turned out not be Sarah...well, that sure would be embarrassing.

Reaching into the bowl he pulled out a grape and ran it in between two fingers trying to find his words. He was at a loss for words now too? He looked at her and smiled, "I've gotten used to having you close by. Every where I turned you seemed to be there and in a way...when we don't see each other during a day it just isn't the same. You're lively and mischievous and...." He realized he was babbling and turned red and ran his hand through his hair again, "Well...I was wondering if you would like to go out with me...like more then friends..." A step forward or just a side trip...he still had yet to see but he knew he couldn't keep things up the way they had been.

Wow! This was...shocking, surprising and to her, she enjoyed being around Robert. Lyra had not been around anyone this close since...Christian but it was nice, filling in the emptiness that had taken over. He was right, they seemed to click, helping each other with problems not only in personal life but school as well. She pressed her lips together as rosy cheeks began to bloom in color on her cheeks. NO ONE made her blush, at least the numbers were low...like ONE and ONE only.

"Yes," she grinned from ear to ear answering his question. It meant that they could share more than just homework, she would have someone to talk too, someone to express feelings towards than just that female bonding. "I like you as well," she began, pushing her hair behind her ears. "If I didn't I wouldn't follow you or search for you like I have." Now she was at a loss for words, but give her a few minutes, that would all change.

No familiar faces, apparently and sadly. And a certain sought of fatigue prevented Sarah to go looking for anyone.

The boredom got to her.

The girl was thinking of everything and nothing. So she wasn't irratated when a voice interrupted her boring though train. She turned to look at the Slytherin girl who Sarah had a long history with. "Yaxxleey .." she chimed, smiling. "Looong time no see .."

Nathaniel stopped just outside the shop to put his skateboard back on his backpack. He walked in and ordered water, a fruit salad, and a sausage roll. He paid for his order and sat down at a table big enough for him and the girls by a window. He took a bite out of his sausage roll. He knew that what he ordered wouldn't fill him up but didn't want to look like a hog in front of the girls.

"I have reason to doubt you, Nathaniel. I have the human right to doubt anybody." She ate a forkful of her pie and glanced out the window. "And it's not that your hair isn't well kept...some people just have a preference for straight hair."

Oooooh. It was Sarah. Good. No embarrassing moment then. "Oi. It is you. I wasn't sure." She took a seat in the other chair, feeling only slightly strange for actually sitting down in this place. "Yes, I agree. In fact, I thought you might have transferred or something. Then again, I was barely keeping up with my own drama last term so I had no clue about anybody else. How have you been?"

Well, I'll have you know that some of us have a hard time managing it otherwise. I remember it having a nice wave in it when I was a preteen, it was horrific trying to brush it back then." Freya sipped on some water she had just gotten, "What are you going to do with me? Hmm, you could stop interrogating me for one." 'Stop being mean, Freya.'
"Nothing much." Freya said shortly and thought about a few things. "I've been reading a bunch of old muggle books recently thought."

Nathaniel didn't take his piercing blue eyes off of Freya. He was trying to read her but he couldn't. She was one of the few people he couldn't. He wondered sometimes why he even bothered with her. He tried so much to know her. To be a friend to her and she always had her wall up. It was so depressing. He sighed "My spit isn't all over it.Are you a germophobe?"he asked still looking at her. "Fine. I'll stop snooping.. You know you never ask me anything.." he said hoping that she'd get the hint. "What muggle books?" he asked grabbing his granola out of his bag and dumping it on his fruit salad.

Robert waited in what could only be described as trepidation for her answer as he fiddled with the grape between his fingers. As her cheeks flushed red he smiled. He couldn't recall when the last time was that he had seen Lyra blush but he had to admit it was cute.

Hearing her answer and seeing her grin he grinned and popped the grape into his mouth. "Well that's good or else this might not work very well," he said with a teasing grin as he grabbed another piece of fruit. She seemed almost speechless and at her words he laughed, "Ahhh so you were stalking me. I thought it was odd that you were there everytime I went somewhere," he said with a smirk as he placed the fruit in his mouth.

"Not really, I just find spit to be beyond disguisting. Don't ask why, because even I don't know." She took another couple of bites of her pie, then sighed. "Fine." She forced a huge 'joker' smile on her face, "So, what's on your mind?" 'Oh THAT was specific...not.'
"Um, well right now..." Freya turned the old book over so that she could see the title, "'A Seperate Peace' I found it somewhere and brought it with me. I just finished 'A Tale of Two Cities'. That was interesting."
Freya watched as Nathaniel dumped something over his fruit salad. "What is that?" She asked before being able to stop herself.

I miss it a lot." he said scratching his head. "That is granola. It's really good. It has oats and stuff in it." he smiled at her. "Oh! I love a Separate Peace.It's one of my all time favorites." he grinned.

Freya stared back at Nathaniel for a moment, "I'm not a terribly open person, Nathaniel. Especially not now, I have more at stake and I don't want to lose it...fair enough?" She told him as she tilted her head slightly towards the window, letting her head hang for a moment. 'Ugh, surfing...ocean...' She stared at his now dry, oats covered fruit salad. "Hmm, I'll take your word for it and just enjoy my kidney pie, mmmm..." Freya ate another forkful of her food, finishing off her pie and moving on to her rice pudding, which she stared at for a moment. 'Here's hoping it's as good as mine...' "That's good. At least I didn't pick up some boring book, but I rarely find any novel dull."
"How is your animal doing by the way?" She asked as she moved her pudding around with her spoon.

Freya stared back at Nathaniel for a moment, "I'm not a terribly open person, Nathaniel. Especially not now, I have more at stake and I don't want to lose it...fair enough?" She told him as she tilted her head slightly towards the window, letting her head hang for a moment. 'Ugh, surfing...ocean...' She stared at his now dry, oats covered fruit salad. "Hmm, I'll take your word for it and just enjoy my kidney pie, mmmm..." Freya ate another forkful of her food, finishing off her pie and moving on to her rice pudding, which she stared at for a moment. 'Here's hoping it's as good as mine...' "That's good. At least I didn't pick up some boring book, but I rarely find any novel dull."
"How is your animal doing by the way?" She asked as she moved her pudding around with her spoon.

Freya looked up from her pudding, "I have an actual family now, Nathaniel. My mother is go--I don't live with her anymore." She smirked at his next comment, "Then you would hate what I eat or used to eat rather. I still have some of my old comfort foods now and again, but my diet has changed. I used to eat blood sausage, haggis, brain...even tongue. It's what I grew up eating, so I don't think it's gross at all." 'Unlike that granola...blah!' "It's not like my mother and I went to a general store to get what we needed either. Usually we had to hunt, which I didn't mind." She stopped talking, her mind had wandered off.
"Noor is doing well. She's becoming a little more active. I wonder if we'll be allowed to take our animals with us after we leave...?" Freya scowled a little bit at Nathaniel. "Yes, I'm fond of all my animals thank you very much. Considering they were some of the only source of company I had when I was younger." She ate a spoonful of pudding, 'It's not bad.'
