The Dias

[Cassirin]

In the middle of the green square sits one table that is higher than the rest. The table is for the staff members, but there seems to be less chairs than you would expect...

Dan approached what would appear to be the staff table, though there weernt that many chairs here. " Professor " he began adressing the Headmistress " How come were having the end of term feast here " he said glancing around at Hogsmeade " its very nice " he added with a smile

Caleum made his way towards the high and mighty table for the staff. It was quite strange having the end of term feast here but at least the school was together again. Deciding to grab a seat and noticing that there seemed to be not enough for everyone, he sat quietly as his eyes glanced around the other tables.

Forrester approached the "feast" with some confusion. Had the minister really agreed to the combining of schools for the send off feast?

When he got to the center table, however, he noticed how few seats were set up. Wondering who would not be attending, he took a seat.

Sophie made her way up to the table in the middle of the green square. It was almost summer time. Her thoughts on summer was distracted once she spotted Caleum and a huge grin was planted on her face. "Hey stranger." She cough, "I mean, hello Mr. Myers." She said polity, taking a seat next to him.

Constantine stepped onto the Dias and took a seat on the other side of Caleum. It was weird to be eating here and with the other school, but hey, he could make do with that. Ruffling his hair a little bit, he leaned back in his chair and gazed around at all the other tables.

Turning his head at the sound of his name, he spotted Sophie and smiled. "Good day, Ms. Brooks," and then caught a glimpse of another person on his other side. "Ahhh, Mr. Masterson. How are things?" He noticed that his friend seemed to be rather quiet, but didn't think too much on the matter. Neo was pretty quiet at times.

Sophie finally noticed the missing seats, and curiously started to count them. It was as if half were missing. "I hope all is well." She smiled back to Caleum. "Who do you think is missing from our table?" She asked.

"Things are good," he said in a calm tone, his expression as emotionless as ever. His eyes took to gazing at the Ravenclaw table momentarily, before moving on to see around the square. "What about you? Haven't see you since the finals started...I don't think I've ever cleaned up so many pieces of crumpled up paper before." Sighing, he gave up on trying to find something to occupy his attention and took to looking at the clouds as they floated by.

Caleum ran a hand through his hair, glancing back at the chairs again that Sophie asked about. "Well, I'm not sure but I took a seat anyway hoping that Professor Thornton wasn't going to be a thorn in my side," he chuckled as he was glad to not have to look at that man for the moment. "I just wonder..."

His head turned to Neo. "Yeah, I'm glad finals are over with. Students did pretty well if you ask me." A curious look crossed his face as his eyes looked a little closer to Neo. "I do hope to see you this summer." It was more of a question but posed as a statement.

"Well I do hope he doesn't come. Frankly, I don't think there is enough food for him. Not to mention the seats.... I'm sure he'd take up more than one, he may possibly take up more than three seats." Sophie laughed as she flicked her hair over her shoulder.

Alex looked at the small ammount of chairs happily, the Ministry slobs obviously weren't coming. Alex's eyes had completly healed, though they were slightly sore now and again. Spotting Forrester at the table, she walked over to her fellow Head of Slytherin house and sat next to him, "Long time no see Sir." ashe said with a smile, "How did you all hold up over at Coopers?"

At first, Forrester was surprised at the lack of whatever Arianna usually did to him when she approached. He turned to look at the woman who sat next to him, and realized it wasn't Ariana afterall, but his female counter-part in the Bell's school.

"Quite well, surprisingly. There was considerably less drama than I was used to, which was a pleasant surprise. Tell me, how did Cassandra Trelawney work out for you? I know her responsibilities were added to with her helping Numel in the Hospital this term, but I'm sure she did quite well despite the additions?"

[Slytherin Fox]

Dumont walked up to the raised table and found a seat. He waved a greeting to his fellow professors then looked around, breathing a sigh of relief as soon as he realized that there were no Ministry professors present here at the table, none at all. On top of that, there were less chairs than necessary to accomodate the full staff, could it mean that the Ministry professors weren't invited? This was a really good sign. He wondered what it could possibly mean, not wanting to get overly optimistic and then be disappointed later. Best to enjoy himself while they weren't here, and hope.

Amelia beamed when Cora said she'd die without saying goodbye. It was quite a depressing day as it was truly the last moment to be with her friends and see the staff whom she'd come to grow and love, as family. A last dance with her crazy Slytherin chaser friend was just what was needed to make sure they would always be remembered.

"Any day with you, Slytherin," Mia grinned, as Cora took her hand and they ran towards the middle of the green and up by the Dias where the staff was. "Youuuuu can danceeeeeeeee! You can jiveeeeee! Having the time of your lifeee!" she continued, waving her arms in the air and still holding onto one of the slytherin's hands.

His eyes came down from the sky and came to focus on Caleum, considering him slightly for a few seconds before nodding. "I'll try my hardest to come visit you this summer...and Madison too. I want to see her," he sighed, reaching forward to grab a glass of water.

His attention diverted as Amelia Rose and the girl who had given him acorns before the start of term, ran up to their dias, singing some sort of song. He raised a small eyebrow as he watched the show; some children sure were odd...

"Cora and Mia will miss you!" She squeeked, squeezing Mia's hand.

But enough of goodbyes for now. NOW was the time for DANCING. And who better to do it with than the absolute raving lunatic Badger?

The staff probably though they were crazy girls, which was true. But if they had to leave, then they would do it with style! "You are the dancing queeeeeeeeeeeen!" She ended, prancing with Cora, around the table. "Yes goodbye Hogwarts Staff!" she cried after Cora. "The dancing queens will miss you!" She squealed, before returning to her dancing.

"Start spreading the news... we're leaving today!!" she sang loudly, dancing with the raving snake after modifying the words to fit them both... "I wanna wake up in a city, that doesn't sleeeeeeeep"

Constantine couldn't help but smile and shake his head at the antics of the two girls. Actually, he was starting to wonder if something had been put into the drinks at the house tables, but shoved that thought aside. It was their last year...they were allowed to go out with a bang.

Just so long as it didn't give him a headache.

Cora took a huge bow as her and Mia ended the song on a very high note. Well, after being in Melita's choir they WERE pretty good. She began to prance about again as they started thei next song which was highly appropriate. "NEW YOOOOORK!" She chorused, a huge grin on her face. She noticed Mr Acorn Man smiling away at the staff table and she waved at him, before digging into her pockets. BEHOLD! AN ACORN! She tossed it to him, laughing, before continuing with the song.

"We are a great big part of IIIIIIT!" She cried, twirling Mia around.

Armand Erikson slowly approached the table. For the first time in two years his hair was tied once more. A somber expression held his demeanor. He took a moment to take note of everyone who was at the table thus far before taking a seat.

Cassandra walked over to the Dias and her face brightened as she saw Professor Erikson. "Professor..." She said unable to hide an uncharactaristic smile.

[Zellanna]

At Cassandra's voice he looked up, somewhat hopeful. Perhaps she could trigger something in him. But it was nothing. As he stood to greet her, his smile was empty. Not that he wasn't glad to see her, but it seemed that nothing could truly cheer him at the moment. "Cassandra. I've missed you greatly, piccola mia. How did things go in Belle's?"

"They went as well as can be expected..." She said as her smiled slightly faded. Guess he still was upset over Blaylock... "I've also missed you a lot. Herbology was... not the same..." She left it at that. "And I missed not having someone to confide in..." She took a deep breath and asked. "How was Coopers?"

[Zellanna]

"Dreadful. I missed you dearly." He sighed softly, glancing at his cup of coffee and setting it aside. "We must keep in touch, now that you are graduating." And we are no longer in danger. It then occured to him... where was Alex? He bristled slightly at the thought of the boy running around like... that. "My dear, where is your boyfriend?"
