DADA Final Exam

Due: August 20, 2008 (sorry about the short due date)

Exam: Your final exam will be submitted as an essay on any Defense topic not covered this term. Pick your topic, do some research, and write at least three paragraphs (5-8 sentences each) on that topic. You may choose a Dark creature, a spell or series of spells, or another topic of interest. Please be aware that spelling and grammar do count.

You may include a picture for clarification to replace one paragraph.

Points: Worth up to 50 points.

Amelia entered the DADA classroom to sit for her last DADA final of her Hogwarts Educational career. It certainly felt strange thinking about that small fact. Reading over the exam paper, she groaned silently at the thought of an essay and then took out her quill and began to write her exam.

Tommy walked into the Final dreading what was going to be on the paper. She was good at DADA no doubt, she just wasn't in the test taking mood right now. She turned over her test paper and wanted to sigh with relief. She was great at essays. She reached into the pocket of her robes and pulled out her quill and started writing away.

[Lockhartian]

Kaika took a seat and read what the Exam said. Oh. Great. She sighed, "Another Essay" she thought, shaking her head from one side to the other. She wasn't precisely good at essays, she was better at practice.

She watched the piece of parchment for a while, thinking about what she should write about, and started to do so as she had an idea.

Walking into the classroom, Liz finds a seat near a window, and sits down. Taking a piece of parchment out, with a quill and ink pot, she looks up at the board.

"Oh, boy...which one do I want to do..." Liz asks herself as she puts the end of the quill into her mouth, and starts to think...

Tommy finished the last sentence of her essay and read over it for mistakes and she made a few corrections. "Finished," She whispered to herself. She gathered up her things and walked up to the front. She placed her roll of parchment on Mistress Rae's desk and quietly made her way out of the room to head to her next final exam.

Cassandra turned to face Tommy. She was finished? Already? Maybe she was over thinking it. Maybe she wasn't thinking it enough. She looked down at her parchment and kept working.

Chalice pratically shaking with fear and nervousy sat to take the first ever exam of her eduaction. " Well, better get a move on, I have three paragraphs and not alot of time to do them in." Chalice said to herself in hopes of calming her nerves, but actually did quite the opposite.

"Ahhhhhhhhhh, at long last I have finished" thought Chalice. Raising her hand to indicate to her professor that she was done she said " I'm finished with my exam Professor." she said in a quite voice. Chalice quickly left after her exam was picked up. "One down, as many as possible to go." she sighed

Melinda walked in the classroom. It was the DADA final exam. She felt so nervuous, so excited, as well. She sat down and breathed in and out. It was not funny how she was feeling at the moment.
She started to write about Boggarts. It was an interesting theme, a Dark Creature. She was so interested in them, so excited that even wrote three paragraphs of it. It had not been much since she last faced one, at the Black Mannor.

Cassandra looked at the Gryffindor and glared. She turned back to her paper, putting the finishing touches on her essay and then folded it. She stood and gathered her things looking around at the last time she'd see this class... it wasn't the one she'd remember. Hogwarts, yes, that one she'd remember. She walked up to the Headmistress and smiled at her handing her the exam. "I'll see you at the closing feast Headmistress," and with that Cassandra exited the room.

Faye was not very excited about writing an essay but knew that her house needed points. So she sat down at her desk and began to write her essay really quickly. Once she got started the words seemed to just pour out of her quill. She made sure her grammar and spelling was perfect before handing it in to the professor with a smile.

An hour into her exam, Anna Greingoth was still staring at her mostly blank parchment in disgust. She'd already switched topics three times, and now she was considering a fourth. She made one final disgusted face at the piece currently on her desk before slipping it into her bag with the other two she'd decided against. Then, finally, an idea that she was comfortable with and had a lot to say about came to her. She smiled as she pulled out the fourth and final piece of parchment and started her assignment. It seemed as if it took hours to write down all the important details, but when she was finally done, she stood, gathered her things, and headed up to the front of the room to turn in her work.

Melinda finished writing. It was not much at all. Her ideas went out pretty fast but the most important ones, stuck to her mind to be written. She sighed and stood up from her seat. She walked towards the professor's desk and put the essay on the stack before her.

"Have a good day, professor..." She said and walked out of the room, huffing a big amount of air to the hair that was blocking her view and because of her relief she had finally done the exam.

Astrid just sat silently for awhile trying to collect her thoughts. There were so many things that she could do an essay on. She didn't know which topic would be the most interesting. She couldn't calm her nerves no matter how hard she tried.

Finally she took a few deep breaths and began to write. After she was finished proofreading her finished essay, she placed her parchment on Professor Rae's desk. Still feeling apprehensive, Astrid gathered her things and left the classroom.

Ella looked around to see others for a minute when she was prepared to left the class room after finished her exam without took her eyes off from her paper even a minute and submitted to the professor. After all she chose the interesting subject to write the final exam. She was glad about that.
