Professor Lainey arrived to her classroom with a big smile on her face. Sure her House was over 2,000 points behind, sure her office was ugly, and sure she missed a certain someone so bad it made her skin crawl -- but it was a good day and she was feeling good.
Her dress was long and blue. She wore a vest today, a black vest - though you could hardly see it as she had about a thousand pins hanging from the vest. "Quidditch Fanatics" and "Goblins R Us" and "Creepy Creature Collectors" could be seen flashing or glinting off a few of the badges.
Lainey propped her door open and waited by it for her students to arrive. | |

"Goodness, aren't you all just right angels today!" Lainey grinned and scrubbed at a badge near her shoulder. It read "Hufflepuffian Hodgepodge." "You all are too sweet. Its moments like this that I don't miss the boys," Lainey joked. "Don't tell them I said that though, bless their little hearts. I heard about their history classes." Lainey rolled her eyes.
"We'll get started soon. I had to work around the Ministry curriculum - so no one get too excited for today's class content." Lainey sighed. "Maybe it'll be fun though. Do you all want to move down to the fireplace? Come on, everyone up and down to the floor here." Lainey moved to sit on the floor, her legs folded over one another.

Noticing that everyone was gathered around the fireplace, the moment Willow slide in the History of Magic classroom, she made her way straight to that place, and sat no too far away from Professor Lainey.
It wasn't until then that she noticed what the woman was wearing.
OH OH OH! Professor Lainey was wearing a pin that said Quidditch Fanatics! Awesome! And her dress was so pretty!
"Ohhhh, I really like your dress, Professor Lainey!." She beamed positively at the head of the house before adding, "The colour, especially".
