Connected to the Armour Gallery, the Trophy Room is where all awards, trophies, cups, plates, shields, statues, and medals are put on display behind crystal glass. Dating back centuries are the numerous achievements that have been made by those who've walked within these walls. When the sunlight shines through the windows and hits the glass just right, the items and names within glimmer and shine oh so bright.
Hundreds of names can be read here, ranging from the great Harry Potter, teachers and ministers of the past, many of today's famous Quidditch players, and more. Carefully looking at all of the names on each individual nameplate, some of you just might even find your parents' names here. Feel free to admire and strive to get your name listed somewhere in this room before you graduate. Just don't press your fingers against the glass or think about having a late-night duel here. You will be sitting here every night for detention until each trophy and plaque in sight is polished to perfection if you do.
Wanting to get a bit more history of how Hogwarts used to be, Foster entered the trophy room and looked around. He was surprised by some of the former student leaders listed. People he now knew to be well respected professionals had all appeared to thrive at Hogwarts. Things couldn't have been that bad for such successful witches and wizards to be produced.
He spent the next several hours reading every single trophy and former student leader name, taking in a much as possible and jotting down names here and there to further research.

Tad had been curious about finding the trophy room for some time. It was on the third floor, right? When he had free time at last he took the opportunity to look for it.
He had heard about this room, where many trophies lie awaiting. He never expected of course to see so much. His blue eyes widened with excitement. "Wow." He whispered as he approached the plaques. His dad had to be in here. He looked and searched for ages... and then he found it.
There he was. His dad listed as Head Boy and a part of the Quidditch team that won the Cup for two of terms he was there. Tad looked around and he saw his grandfather also listed as part of the team in his third year. Geez, they were old. He wanted to touch the plaques but they were much too high for him to reach. He could see Chloe's parents were there too. He smiled. He was on the team too just like them, though on the reserve side like his grandpa had been, it was still something he could say he had in common with them.
Tad was so starstruck he didn't realize the tall Professor right there by him. "Oh, hi Professor." Why was he taking notes? "What are you writing?" Can he see? Little Taddy was curious about notes.
Eyeing the young boy, Professor Davis walked over next to him to see what he was looking for. "I do apologize if I startled you, Mr. Potter." He smiled at the young man and tapped his notepad. "I'm taking notes over past Hogwarts champions and leaders. Trying to get to know more about the achievements of Hogwarts past." If he could only figure out where things started going sideways, maybe he could find a way to talk to the Headmaster and convince him that there were options, other than more rules, put things back on track.
"How about you?" He gestured to the trophies. "Do you plan on having your name appear on one of the trophies?" He had high hopes for Mr. Potter. The young man was already showing a lot of promise, even as a first year. If he kept his focus, and worked hard, he would be a great wizard.

Oh, the Professor was doing research. Shaking his head of curls, "It's okay," Little Taddy didn't scare easily, luckily for him. At first he was confused about the researching part before he remembered that not all Professors attended this school before. "Ohhh, cool. What school did you go to before Professor?"
Tad looked up at the plaques again beaming with pride. "I'm kind of doing the same. My Dad was Head Boy and he and my grandpa were on the Hufflepuff Quidditch team before so I wanted to see the records at last." And they didn't disappoint. He grinned at the thought of being recorded. "That would be awesome. My mum says it's not the end of the world if I don't end up engraved up there, but I'm gonna try anyway." Even if he had to carve his name up there himself.. Not that anyone would know of this plan, heh.
"Did they have stuff like this back at your former school, Professor?"

Foster continued to glance back at the trophies as young Mr. Potter spoke. At the school question, he looked over and smile. "I had the honor of attending Ilvermorny. Not only did I spend my school years there, I also spend several years as their Arithmancy professor before coming to teach at Hogwarts."
He nodded as the young man spoke. "It sounds as if you come from a long line of exceptional wizards. I have full confidence that you will follow in their footsteps, as long as you apply yourself." He slipped his notepad in his pocket. "I'm going to tell you a little secret. While it is exciting to see your name on a trophy, the real reward is knowing you did your best, no matter what obstacles are put in your path. Don't ever give up and don't ever let someone tell you that you aren't good enough." Mr. Potter's mother seemed to be a wise woman.
To answer Mr. Potter's question, Foster slowly nodded. "There are trophies at Ilvermorny. I even have my name on a few, although they aren't quite as exciting as the quidditch trophies." He leaned in to get a closer look at one of the names in front of him. "No, I was never gifted in flying. I chose to stay on the ground at compete in quiz bowl championships." Which reminded him that he needed to have a chat with Joshua about the quiz bowl team and getting them to their next competition.
"Are you keeping up in your classes? That's going to be important, especially if you wish to find yourself as a prefect or head boy."
