Honeydukes

Honeydukes is the greatest (and only) candy shop in Hogsmeade that never has a quiet day. Knowing that the place is famous for its sugary delights that are too scrumptious to resist, students and adults alike flock to this shop to satisfy their sweet tooth. If you were to peek through the window, you will witness shelves full of hundreds of candy jars and boxes as well as a large crowd of customers greedily snatching them before they all run out.

A million coloured boxes and wrappers capture your attention the moment you step inside the shop. The walls are adorned with green shelving, the counters hold jars and boxes of different candies, and there is even a station for trying out candy samples from chocolate frogs to jelly slugs and anything in between. Feel free to explore the entirety of the stop; just refrain from going down to (or coming out of...) the cellar where crates and boxes full of candy are stored.

Skyler was excited. She was free from the school for a while at least, with no chaperone, she was a bit more relaxed. Although, she wondered with the new rules if there would be some catch to all this. It took forever for the headmaster to approve this so she was wondering if there would be a professor or the headmaster lurking from behind a corner. That quickly went to the back of Skyler's mind as she made her way into Honeydukes. The site of all the colourful candy and sweets, combined with the scent was overwhelming. Where to go first? She had no idea.

Rylee was ecstatic. Beyond ecstatic even. She had been waiting for this day since the second she spotted it on the Bulletin Board and it couldn't have come fast enough. Finally there had been something good to look forward to other than lessons and her normal activities, both of which had become hard enough to deal with lately due to all the rules this term.

Being in Hogsmeade was a welcomed break. One the thirteen year old ginger haired lioness was going to take full advantage. The plan was to go to every single shop today. If she had the time... but of course she would. Rylee had a plan and nothing would keep her from full-filling her goals.

"Let's go to Honeydukes first! I'm in need of more SUGARQUILLS!," Rylee exclaimed practically wiggling in delight and grabbing Stefan's hand to tug him along into the shop. Did she really need more sugarquills? Probably not. But did she want more sugarquills? Of course!

Stefan was definitely excited to be here. He has hoped for this day to come and it finally did. A place that they could express themselves without rules hovering over their heads or professors creeping up behind their backs. He wasn't going to miss an opportunity to go to the wizarding village. No Siree! He made sure his permission slip signed, sealed and delivered before coming here.

Falling into step behind Rylee, grinning widely at her. "Lee, don't you have had enough sugarquills already? Why don't you try some Fizzing Whizbees or Drooble's Blowing Gum? I'm telling you, they're the best!" Stefan suggested some of his favourites as they both entered the shop. He grabbed every single sample they had before popping them into his mouth. Mhmmm...yummy!

Skyler turned her head as two students walked in. She watched a bit as they talked about Sugar Quills. She recognised them both but didn't know their names. She later found out rhe girl's nickname She thinks, is Lee. After she had payed for the half pound of milk chocolate fudge (requesting them to be cut into small squares to share with any of her friends that she moght find.), she gave them a friendly wave.
"Would either of you want some fudge?" She asked
Skyler held the small bag up with her right hand and she chewed on a square that she held with a piece of paper in her left hand. Yeah being a lefty was annoying sometimes.

Stopping just inside the shop, Rylee turned to stare at Stefan in mock surprise. "When have you ever known me to have enough Sugar Quills?" Never that's when. There was no such thing in her mind as having to much of her most favorite candy. She would happily live off the candy if she could. "I do eat other candies, Stef, I like a lot of different sweets." Just none as much as she liked her Sugar Quills.

"Just to prove it to you I'll get a nice variety of things today along with my usual selection," she laughed watching him shove different samples of candy into his mouth. Having not been able to step foot in Hogsmeade all term thanks to the rules that were now in place she had a very decent amount of coins to spend saved up. "Perhaps some fudge, truffles, chocolate frogs, ice mice..." Rylee trailed off when they were joined by a girl she was positive was in their year.

Oh! She was offering them some of her fudge! That was really nice of her! "I would love a piece, thank you!" With a warm friendly smile she took a small square of the chocolate fudge offering half to Stefan as she normally did now, unless he wanted to take his own piece from their new friend. "I'm Rylee and this is Stefan." In case she wasn't sure who they were. Once she had chosen her candies and paid for them she would be sure to offer the girl some in return for the fudge.

Stefan stared back at her as he sucked on a piece of candy that made his tongue blue, "I know you do, Lee. I'm just saying we could get other varieties besides our favourite candies in the world." Stefan knew there were plenty of varieties to choose from. He grabbed a couple of chocolate frogs into his basket to check out later. "Now that's the spirit!" He chuckled. Stefan nodded and approved on all of her different choices of candies she planned on grabbing.

"Oh yeah...get those truffles Lee, oh...what about Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans? Want to give it ago in getting earwax flavour?!" he laughed. He remembered he once got Troll's Bogey before. It was disgusting!

Stefan Honeyduke's basket was loaded with all kinds of goodies by the time he finished. He paused when a girl(Skyler) he recognised from their year approached them with an offered piece of fudge cake. Oh, how nice of her! "Don't mind if I do, thanks!" Stefan smiled back and took the half-piece from Rylee before popping it into his mouth. Yummm!

He waved back. "You're here alone?" She could totally hang out with them if she wanted to.

Skyler smiled a bit and nodded.
"It's nice to meet you two also, I'm Skyler," she said watching as the boy took half of the fudge piece.
"Yeah. I am. Can't find my other friends here yet so..." She trailed off a bit as she finished her ssquare and reached in to grab another one.

Rylee rolled her eyes at him playfully. "I always get a variety of sweets whenever I'm here. I just tend to get more Sugar Quills than anything else." It wasn't her fault if those were her absolute favorite. Grabbing herself a little basket as well she followed him up and down the aisles.

"What do you think... the cherry centered truffles?" Those were the best in her eyes but she had no problem in getting a few in each flavor if that's what he preferred. "Ugh! I hate the ear wax ones!" Rylee crinkled up her nose in disgust before a wide grin spread across her lips. "Let's do it!" Maybe she would get super lucky and get all the yummy ones while he got the rotten flavored ones. Ha! Into her basket went a chocolate frog and ice mice!

Rylee smiled nibbling at her portion of the fudge after Stefan had taken the other half. "It's nice to officially meet you too, Skyler. You can walk around with us if you want." She was sure Stefan was thinking the very same thing.

“Mhm, I believe you. But let’s see if the amount of sugar-quills you’re getting doesn’t outweight the others this time.” Stefan teased, wiggling his own Honeyduke’s basket at her.

Ohh cherry centered truffles! “Yes, I like those. Can you get the melon ones too?” Stefan requested. He always been a huge fan for fruits. So any sweet fruity flavoured ones were his favourite kinds. Stefan tasted most of the candies in the shop...except for one. He wondered if they sell the specialty ones to students. He always wanted to try the blood pop, mainly because he was deeply curious about it.

“Yeah! It be fun to play, you’ll never know what you’re getting. Challenge accepted.”* He smirked back at Rylee. A game of chance, how thrilling!

Stefan nodded at his bestfriend suggestion. “Yeah, come with us. The more the merrier. Want to get ice cream or butterbeer with us, Skyler?” he asked with a smile.

Skyler nodded and grinned a bit as she was relaxing more.
"Sure," she said after realising that no professor was gonna be behind the corner.
She glanced at the cherry centered truffles.
I should get some
"Just let me pay for these," she said and went to go pay for the four candies.

"That's not possible. I can try but I'm telling you now, that it's not possible." There was a gleam of playfulness in her eyes but also a twinkle of truth. Sugar quills will always outweigh everything else when buying sweets.

Cherry and melon truffles. Rylee nodded. "Yup!" She was already selecting several truffles and placing them into a small box. Scanning all the sweets that were around she paused holding her hand over what appeared to be red lollipops. The teen knew exactly what they were but honestly she had never actually had one. "What about blood pops? Have you ever had one?" Were they good?

With a cheeky grin she dropped a box of Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans into her basket. "Got them!" This was going to be a lot of fun! As long as she wasn't the one getting the horribly gross flavors.

Rylee smiled at Stefan's suggestion of the three of them going to get ice cream or butterbeer. "Now to decide which one we actually want," Rylee laughed nudging Stefan gently. "Ice cream. Or butterbeer?" Ice cream was always perfect no matter the weather but... butterbeer sounded really nice right now too.

[Symphora]

Stefan laughed. "Don't lose hope now." He thought it was funny how Rylee's love for sugar-quills overpowers everything else.

Then, she suddenly pointed out the blood pops that he secretly wanted. Stefan was caught off-guard for a second. He didn't know what to say. "Uh, I don't know Lee. I never had one...do you want one?" he asked, surprised that she immediately thought he would want it. But of course, she would know things about him not many do.

"Great, let's play when we get back to the castle. I hope you'll get the trolls bogey, Lee." Heh-heh.

Stefan nodded at Skyler. "Sure, we'll wait here." He had some more things to buy. He paused to turn towards Rylee when she nudged him. He grinned, "I say we get both. I believe our stomachs have room for them." Stefan chuckled.

Rylee grinned him nudging him gently with her shoulder. "You sound like me now, thinking positive like that." Normally it was her who always looked on the bright side of everything, found that small good thing even when she was drowning in the bad. It was just like Stefan though to do the very same thing for her whenever she needed it, which lately was more than normal with Reese not being around.

Catching the almost deer in the headlights look on his face made her laugh right away. Why did he seem so surprised by her wondering if he had ever had one before? It was candy! "I've been curious about them for awhile but never actually tried them. What do you say we give it a go?" Nothing wrong with a bit of adventuring even if it's only in the form of trying a new lollipop.

"Is that before or after our dance lesson?," she commented with a small smirk playing upon her lips. "Nope, that's gonna be you for sure that gets that one." Rylee laughed.

Rylee had no problems with waiting a few moments for Skyler. She was sure Stefan wanted to get more candy anyhow as did she. "Both, hmm? Now you REALLY sound just like." Wink. There was noway she would be turning down a chance to have both ice cream AND butterbeer! YUM!!!

"What do you mean, I've always been positive," Stefan smiled back. But there were days he just wanted to lay in bed and do nothing all day. He couldn't be bothered with anything unless his body demands food. Anyway, Rylee wanted to try the blood lollies?! He was a little shocked with wonder at her request. He nodded with eagerness. "Yes, let's do it. Do you think they come in different blood types?" he asked her. O+? AB-? B+? Stefan's head was filled with questions as he took one out of its box.

"Oh come on Rylee, we can practice dancing some other days. How about we play whoever got the least amount of disgusting jelly beans, wins two chocolate dragons and a packet of licorice wands? I throw in my own sugar quills too." Stefan smirked. Knowing Rylee, she would never pass on sugar-quills.

Once he was done with his selection of sweets, he went to pay for them. "Right, ready to get our ice creams and butterbeer?" Stefan turned around to face the girls.

She smiled brightly. "I know. One of the main reasons I love hanging around you." Not that she wouldn't hang around him if he was upset or in a bad mood cause she would. Making sure all her friends were happy was a job! Rylee shrugged a shoulder grabbing one of the blood pops from the shelf and setting it into her basket. "I have absolutely no idea." That was a good question though.

Rylee eyed him for a very long moment. "Fine... but I'm working you even harder during the next practice," she smirked sweetly. Payback for not wanting to dance. Ha! Ooooh, a game of bad luck hmm. Heck yes she was in! "Oh, you are so on!" Definitely not going to pass up a chance to win some sugar quills.

Rylee followed Stefan over to the checkout counter to pay for all her sweets. With her bag in hand she smiled brightly at him and Skyler. "Sure am!"
