| | Disused Classroom Though there are a handful of classrooms within the castle that aren't in use, you will find that the empty classroom on the fourth floor is by far the largest of them. Plus this room has a bit of a history, considering it was once where the Mirror of Erised was housed. Unfortunately said mirror hasn't been found here since it was moved in the early 90's to a different part of the castle, leaving only an assortment of desks and chairs behind.
Even though this room isn't used daily, the caretaker makes sure the place remains dust-free. The desks are never laid out the same, always adapting to whatever purpose the room needs to serve. If you come in and see that the desks are in two opposite rows, you'll know that those in Magical Debate were recently here. If you notice that the desks are grouped in a way that allows students to sit together in groups of four, those involved with Quiz Bowl had been there. Regardless of who uses this room, it is its prime location near the library that draw people to this quiet, readily available space.

Harriet was sat, surrounded by a pile of books. She was actually doing some studying for once. It was mostly wand work that she was practicing though. The last defence against dark arts lesson had made her realize she was a bit behind her peers. And after talking to Felicity she knew she needed to try some non-verbals. She wanted to catch up if she was going to be able to pass her OWLS. She knew they weren't necessary, and she was only a 5th year, but she wanted to at least say that she could do a few non-verbals. She wanted to show that she could do things well.
So she was sat at the desk, with her quill at the other end of the classroom. And she was trying to get the summon the quill without saying the spell out loud.
So far she was having limited success.

So far she was having limited success. "Don't get stressed."
Felicity slipped into the classroom quietly, closing the door behind her. She'd spoken to Hattie about this before, and felt bad if she made her friend think that she needed to stress herself out in the effort to learn. After all, Felicity could only summon things, and she had stressed that it had taken her ages to learn. Hadn't she?
Either way, she was hear to help. Pulling herself up to sit on the desk, she turned slightly in order to look at Hattie. "I know it sounds counter-intuitive, but don't force it and try too hard. Kind of... I dunno, feel it. Imagine it coming towards you."

Kind of... I dunno, feel it. Imagine it coming towards you." Harriet looked up when she heard a voice, and the blonde girl sighed. She wasn't stressed was she? Okay. Yes. She was stressing a little. But she hoped that Felicity wasn't feeling bad. She'd asked her about her non-verbal skills, just so she knew where she stood. She hadn't thought about it before, so she was glad to have asked her friend. Even if it made her a little scared that she had fallen behind. She knew it wasn't something to worry about, but it was stressing her out just a little bit.
She sighed, putting her wand down, and just leaning back. "I guess... stressing isn't working" She mused with a little laugh. She'd been here for 2 hours, so she knew it wasn't exactly working. She looked at her friend, and smiled. "Hey" Since she hadn't actually said hi to her when she had entered. "How are you Liss?" Maybe a distraction would be good.

Felicity couldn't help but join in with Hattie's laughter, pulling her legs up onto the desk to cross them. "Hey to you, too." Of course, she didn't want to distract her friend from her work, but it looked like a bit of a break and a de-stresser was needed anyway. And, after all, she did need to talk to her.
"I'm..." Pausing, Liss chewed on her bottom lip, playing with the rings on her right hand. She didn't want to hurt Hattie, and she definitely didn't want to fall out with her the way Skylar had, but she'd gone back and forth over what to do and how to do it, and she knew it needed to be soon. "I'm okay... Actually, I need to talk to you..."
