| | Three Broomsticks The Three Broomsticks is the most well-known pub in the small village, which is why it is often rather crowded with students and adults alike. The outside of the building is a good preview of what the inside may look like with the same steep roof as the surrounding buildings with a sign featuring the legendary three boomsticks, all fixed around a lantern to light the patrons' way. It certainly looks better kept than the Hog's Head down the street.
Once you enter the pub, the warmth of the large stone fireplace great you as you place hats and coats by the door. Directly in front of you there are tables and booths lining the majority of the small hall with oil lamps placed on each one. On winter days it is usually hard to find a place beside the large fire grate; however, if you're early enough, you can bet your galleons that you'll be nice and toasty by the fire. To the left is the bar where the bartender waits to take your order.

| Kita ❤ BOOMBAYAH! | #PuedoPorquePiensoQuePuedo | Certified Blank and Random Person | Raventastic With the amount of study that she had to do and assignment that the professors kept giving to them, Hogsmeade weekend is what Ava totally needs now. Being a seventh year was rough and stressful and not to mention her low blood pressure had made her final year at Hogwarts became more miserable. Yeah, she was being dramatic here.
But let's just forget about all those stressful things and enjoy the weekend at Hogsmeade with no other than her lovely handsome boyfriend.
Holding his hand while they're walking together to Hogsmeade, the Gryffindor asked Phillip where they wanted to go first. "How about butterbeer and some food first?" Because the cold weather and warm butterbeer sounded like a perfect combination! "Or do you want to go to Madam Puddifoot's for the tea?" Ava offered an alternative option, though deep down she knew her boyfriend would prefer the tree broomsticks instead because they offered more option of food.

NEWTs, studying, talks about the looming future..... all of it was making him more ready for the summer and graduation than he had ever been in his life. Yes, he was still stressing over Merlin-knows-what and yes, he'd need to get ready for further education but at least the NEWTs would be over and that was a huge bonus in his eyes.
(Internal screaming? Yes, there was plenty of that going around.)
Whatever. It was a Saturday and, furthermore, it was a Hogsmeade weekend. Talking about stressful topics was practically banned, you know? Not that he'd find it easy to concentrate on that when he was currently walking hand in hand with a certain Gryffindor brunette who knew him better than most people.
Speaking of, he turned to her when she asked a question and wrinkled his nose. "Madame Puddifoot's is too fancy and don't do nearly enough food options. A Butterbeer would go down well in this weather and would raise your blood pressure better." Besides, who wanted tea?! That was an old people's drink. "C'mon." With that, he started leading her towards the door and gently pushed it open for her.
While the Three Broomsticks had plenty of food options, it also had plenty of people here as well. Leaning in, the Slytherin said in a low voice, "D'you want to pick out some seats while I order?"

She looked at Phillip dreamily. Ahhh, been dating him for a quite long time obviously made Ava knew (mostly) everything about her boyfriend, including how he mostly preferred good food over a fancy place that only served tea and snacks. She thought Madam Puddifoot's was nice place for a date but she agreed with Phillip about the menu there. Plus she needed a real food, not just some scone and finger sandwiches. "It's really cute that you concerned about my health." She tiptoed in and kissed his cheek as he commented about butterbeer could help with her blood pressure. "Aren't you the greatest boyfriend?" Thankfully he had been such a great and caring boyfriend since her health seemed dropped pretty drastically and she actually had to see a healer. Even he accompanied her to St. Mungo's because Reed wanted a further medical check-up on her. "Oh, sure. Could you get me butterbeer and.... fish and chips, pretty please?" The Gryffindor said as Phillip opened the door for her. "I'm going to take a seat over there, by the way." Ava pointed to the empty table at the corner where she and her boyfriend could have a nice snogging session without catching people's attention. Hehehe. Don't worry, Mr. Bartender. They're going to keep it appropriate. While waiting for him, she just watched the handsome Slytherin from afar and daydreamed about him. This was probably the last year of them having a date in Hogsmeade because they both were going to graduate. So.... better made this one memorable enough, huh?

Having a girly morning and getting her hair done with Skylar had put Felicity in an excellent mood, and she swished her very slightly shorter and very slightly darker hair as she entered the Three Broomsticks. For no reason that she could put her finger on, she actually felt nervous at the prospect of meeting Flynn here, and fiddled with the rings on her right hand as she waited.
Maybe it was because it was their first proper date, where Liss wasn't actively trying to put him off. Or maybe it could have been that she was scared that he was going to stand her up.
Which, she reminded herself, of course he wasnt going to do: he'd persisted so hard to get her to admit her feels and agree to - was date him the right phrase? But her tummy was still a flutter and she checked her make up in the mirror, a pro of being early.

But her tummy was still a flutter and she checked her make up in the mirror, a pro of being early. Flynn had briefly thought about asking Felicity to meet him at Madame Puddifoot's for this official date of their but then he remembered the two following problematic situations:
1) Puddifoot's was the most girlish café in town and
2) he did not steal enough money from one of the younger Slytherin to actually afford that place.
So he settled on The Three Broomsticks, which is where he was currently heading to.
Upon arrival, he took off his sunglasses and looked around for her. His brown eyes landed on the back of someone's head that kind of looked like his - was girlfriend the right word to use? Of course he really liked Felicity, but he still was not use to labels; the thought of them still gave him a nasty taste in his mouth. He approached her but did not say anything until he saw the reflection in the mirror she was holding. "You did something different to your hair," he pointed out the obvious.

"What does pinky mean?" Please don't be a horrible Polish insult. Flynn smiled down at her when she turned around. Upon being asked that question, he tilted his head and got a nice, long look at her new hair style and color. He did prefer her old hair color, but he also thought this looked good on her as well. "I.... do, yes," he replied. "It's different." He paused. "In a good way, of course."
He was confused for a brief moment when she asked what 'pinky' meant, but then he remembered their conversation in the barn yesterday. His confused look turned into laughter as he said, "It's piękny." OOPS. He spoke only Polish for so many years that unless he was thinking about it, he would talk in his native langue. "It means beautiful." Which is what she was.
He looked over at the bar and added, "Do you know what you want to eat?" Because he was starving! piękny = very attractive

Flynn did redeem himself slightly when he added the next part, and Liss smiled. "It's only semi-permanent," she confessed with a shrug of one shoulder, admitting that it would fade, probably in a week or so.
She frowned a little as he laughed, but flushed deeply as he explained what he'd meant. "Thank you," she mumbled quietly, casting her gaze downward. She wanted to say something about his native language being beautiful, but thought that was too corny, and so left it. Corny was not something she enjoyed, and Felicity was glad that Flynn hadn't chosen the weird coffee shop that was all flowery and... Well, the thought of that level of romcom atmosphere send a shudder down her spine.
"Um.... A grilled cheese. And a butterbeer."

"Um.... A grilled cheese. And a butterbeer." Flynn was new to this whole relationship thing, and he was really new to actually caring about someone that wasn't him.... or his sister. The fact that he cared about someone so much scared him. REALLY scared him to be honest. He had liked Felicity for a while now and never acted on his feelings - because to him, feelings were nonsense. He then had a short fascination with Hattie, but he came back to Felicity. It was always her. "If you like it then I like it, even though I preferred your natural hair color." He did want her happy though, and if this new hairstyle made her happy, so be it. He gave her a little smile when she thanked him for the Polish compliment. "Maybe one day I can teach you some Polish." He was not the most patient teacher, but he also at least wanted her to understand him when he complimented her. "If you want to get us a table, I'll order the food." He leaned in, kissed her cheek, and made his way to the bar. He would more than likely take a few minutes to decide what he wanted to eat because everything on the menu seemed like something he would have an allergic reaction to. Maybe he would have a bowl of mixed vegetables?

| Open! Bathes in Maple Syrup | Dancing Lobster | Mrs. Charlie Weasley | Seneca's Beard | That's So Fetch Normally, Regina wasn't one to go out on Hogsmeade weekends. It was her firm belief that her presence in the wizarding village would have stifled the sense of freedom that the students had being on their own. Plus wandering the castle was, needless to say, rather enjoyable in its temporary silence.
But this weekend was different. The overall tone of this term was now different. It put her on edge, and even the glass of much-needed firewhiskey she had been diligently sipping on wasn't enough to put her mind at ease. As she sat in the corner, she couldn't help but cast an alert hawk-like gaze out the window at the overcast street.
She brought the glass to her lips once more. Internally debating if she should order something to eat. Needless to say, she was going to be staying there until it was time for them all to head back to the castle -- everyone safe and accounted for.

She brought the glass to her lips once more. Internally debating if she should order something to eat. Needless to say, she was going to be staying there until it was time for them all to head back to the castle -- everyone safe and accounted for. It was physically impossible to come into Hogsmeade and NOT buy herself a slice of strawberry shortcake. There was just no way and in the wake of all the castle crazies lately, the Ravenclaw needed as much comfort as she could get.
Thanking the bartender and offering up her sickles, the young girl turned to find a seat. As it so happened, there was an empty one right there by the window in front of the one the Headmistress was sitting i--Headmistress Hawthorne? The sight of the woman sat there sipping at Merlin knew what was jarring to say the least. In all the Hogsmeade weekends she'd taken, she couldn't remember ever bumping into the woman....but it wasn't entirely a bad thing.
Quite suddenly, the conversation she'd had with Dora came rushing back and it left her wondering if the Gryffindor had really kept to her word in regards to ratting her out to the lady in charge.
Only one way to know, right? Jessa moved forward awkwardly shifting the bag she had slung over her shoulder as she came to a stop before the woman. Thing was...being outside the castle and on such a casual weekend outing....Jessa wasn't entirely sure how to greet the woman or how to begin a conversation. What time was it? Would she need to tell her good morning? good afternoon? Did she just sit? What if the seat was taken and the Headmistress was actually waiting for someone? Could she ask? Would that be intrusive? It only made sense the woman would be waiting on someone....because usually she wasn't here...? Or was she? Was this normal? Was she interrupting some form of alone time?
The dilemma left the Ravenclaw standing there, strawberry shortcake in hand, just staring with her mouth somewhat agape. Somehow, this situation didn't seem as complicated when she'd first made the decision to approach.

A Jessa Cambridge holding a strawberry shortcake, to be precise.
Initially he had wanted to come in here to grab a bite to eat in a secluded corner alone, but the sight of the Ravenclaw reminded him that such sentiments were wasted effort when it came to Hogsmeade Weekends. It was like wishing the Gryffindor common room be quiet any given day of the week. Delusional.
So it was that the fourth year walked up behind her and was just about to comment on her choice of food when he saw what she was gaping at. "Sort of like seeing a crup walking on its hind legs, isn't it?" he mused, taking in the sight of the Headmistress.

| Bathes in Maple Syrup | Dancing Lobster | Mrs. Charlie Weasley | Seneca's Beard | That's So Fetch Her eyes did not linger from the window as she set her glass down on the table. She continued to watch as bodies walked up and down High Street. Faces and names were registering in her mind, and Regina was just relieved everything about this weekend trip was normal so far.
So far. The glass returned to her lips, easing the thought away. All would be fine. There was no way anyone was going to be targeted out here, especially with so many eyes -- staff and shopkeepers -- looking out for anything moderately suspicious.
The reassurance of that thought, and perhaps the sip of firewhiskey a little too, gave her relief. The liquid slightly burned as it made its way down her throat, but it certainly was helping set her nerves at ease. It was enough to make her look away from the window to gaze upon...
A smirk played at her lips at the sight of Jessa Cambridge staring at her with her mouth wide open and caught the tail-end of what Jaecar Upstead was saying to her. "You might want to take a picture," she murmered. "It'll last longer."
"Is there something I can help you two with?" the headmistress asked after a brief pause.

| Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite The sudden appearance of a voice and indeed a person just behind her caused the Ravenclaw to jump just a little. It was only with her heart now pounding furiously in her chest that she could settle enough to realize she actually knew the voice. Jessa twisted slightly to take in the frame of Jaecar Upstead. At least he wasn't looming this time, Merlin knew it made her restless. "A bit like that....yeah." She finally managed to say, looking back from him to the obviously amused woman. Her next sentence made Jessa think the formalities might not have been so necessary afterall. "Same as you." Blue eyes settled on him again. "I thought you preferred staying in the castle once it had less people in it." Jaecar was hardly the social type. Idly walking into the Three Broomsticks like this, he was practically asking to be spoken to. Her lips spread into an amused grin. "Unless you've taken to stalking me."
Yes, she was fully prepared for the eyeroll that was sure to come. "The picture won't be necessary, I've got several copies of the yearbook." Being on the team, they were quite easy to come by. "I was curious though...." She continued, hesitation evident in her tone. "If you've spoken to any Gryffindors recently....say....a Seventh Year maybe? With a skewed sense of morals and what's right or wrong? A bit preachy maybe? Intent on making me look like a bad guy."
