SSRP: Axel and Lynnia's date night

Being busy adults with two young girls, it has been a while since the two of them have had a night out on the town. Axel has made plans for him and his Lynnia. The babysitter is on the way and they are getting ready for a date night.

This scene takes them to a nice romantic dinner date out.

[Bazinga]

Lynnia stood in front of the mirror. She was happy to be getting out of the house for the evening. It had been a long overdue date night with her husband. The girls played at her feet even though the babysitter had been there for at least ten minutes. "You have all the ways to reach us. We will be out for a few hours." She wasn't planning on coming home earlier than needed. Slipping on her black heels she laughed as her oldest asked about wearing them. "When you are older you can have shoes like this." They were just growing so quickly, she couldn't believe how fast time went.

Moving to grab her purse she looked around the house, "Axel sweetie are you ready to go?" Her watch said it was half past six, but her stomach was saying it was very late for dinner. She had some excitement to share with her husband as well, so the sooner they left for their date night the happier she would be.

Bending down she kissed both girls and said goodbye to the sitter once more before heading for the door to wait on her husband.

Even though he was ready hours ago, mostly because he knew his wife would need the bathroom for at least an hour to get ready. Not that he minded. He didn't. Axel though his wife was beautiful no matter how long it took her to get ready. It had been quite a while since they had had a night out just the two of them. Lynnia deserved a night out. They deserved a night out.

Now he was standing in the hallway working on his tie, well picking out his tie was half of the battle. The green striped one or the solid blue one. He couldn't decide. He looked up, from his inter debate, at his girls. He could not believe how fast they were growing up. "When you are much older." He said with a teasing dad laugh. Like when she was 30 and dating. If then. He asked his youngest about which tie he should wear, he laughed again Maybe he should just skip the tie tonight.

"I'm ready." He come out of the bedroom for putting away the ties, since they were no go. He kissed both of this girls, nodded and smiled at the babysitter, and headed to door to meet his wife. He give her a kiss on the cheek, before glancing back at the girls, [b]"Best behaviors.

Taking her arm, he stepped out of the door leading her out, then apparated with her.

They were apparated before she could mention walking because it was a nice night. PLUS walking for other reasons, but now they were standing in front of the restaurant and she had a look of fear in her eyes. It was fine, yes, fine. It was still so early, this wouldn't change anything. So she smoothed her dress and tried to push the worry out of her mind. What done was done and she'd keep a watch on things and know for sure later.

"Shall we go in?"

A smile to her husband she took his hand and headed into the restaurant. It was very fancy, but they had been there before. Greeted by the hostess they were lead to the table. "You look very handsome tonight." Axel was always handsome though.

He had not meant to apparate them so fast, but he was just so glad that they were going out. He glanced over at his wife seeing the look on her face, like she had seen a ghost or something. Merlin he hoped she wasn't coming down with something. He could swing by his office and get her a potion if she wasn't feeling well. "Are you feeling okay, sweetheart?" Maybe they should walk on the way home. It was a nice afternoon.

He smiled slightly at her "If you are."' Tanking her hand, he led them into the restaurant. He could not help but to not grin, "Thank you, and you are beautiful as usual." O course he meant that, he always meant it. Heading to their table he pulled out the chair for her to sit down.

Should she just come out with it? She probably should after being apparated, but she didn't want to do it this way. No, Lynnia decided she was going to wait. Looking up to the server she smiled and asked for a water before looking through the menu. "I have no clue what I want tonight." She wasn't truly hungry for anything, but everything looked so delicious at the same time. Decisions became hard when this was the case.

Finally deciding on the lasagna, Lyn put down the menu and watched her husband. "The girls are growing so quickly aren't they?" She couldn't believe how big they were both getting. "Do you tire of being the only male in the house?" Her lips played in a playful grin as she said this. They did have the dogs, but it wasn't the same really.

The healer was buried in the menu, he just looked up when he heard his wife order water. Water....water? Not wine? This was suppose to be a nice date for them. He tilted his head and ordered a tea, with sugar. It wasn't the sweet tea that was used to from Alabama but the English hot was just as good. "I'm not too sure myself." He said with a light chuckle.

Letting Lynnia order first, as always he when with he normal steak and potatoes. He grinned and nodded. "They sure are. Where has the time gone? He loved talking about his girls. Both of them were growing up so fast. It was hard to keep up with both of them, Though Charlotte was getting old enough to know what she was suppose to do, and did it. He noticed that playful grin, he had always loved that grin. "Yeah, sometimes... I mean a grew up with four brothers." It was always interesting having them around growing up. He was starting to wonder where this conversation was going. He grinned back at her "Why'd you ask?" Still grinning.

She blushed a bit but didn't look up with the water. She could feel his odd look. Yes, Lasagna sounded quite good.Her husband could read her very well most days she wondered if he had caught on by now what was going on. This date was a nice night out, but it was also to tell him the news she had found out a few days ago and had been hiding. She liked to make things special. Their marriage was very special since they had married not long after Charollete.

Her hands reached his and gave them a little squeeze. "I love our girls. Their personalities are so different, but yet so adorable." She thought about just the day they had together before here. Char was into her shoes and trying to walk around in them and of course Malaya was always right behind trying to keep up. "Well there could be a chance in about eight months you might not be the only male anymore." She had no clue really, it was to early to tell, but things were different this time around. "I'm pregnant."

Axel had only seen his wife blush maybe just a handful of times in the years that he had been with her. So this was something different. He was looking at the beef section of the menu, steak one of his usuals, baby back ribs, baby back ribs. BABY? His green shot up, Grinning, which he really couldn't help at this possible revelation. "I think I'm going to get the [i]baby back ribs."[/b] HInt, hint that he had connected the dots there. He was a healer wasn't he? Or was he going baby gaga for nothing.

He smiled as Lynnia took his hand, he gave hers a little squeeze in return, 'They are different, but both very girly. kind of like there mother." But he loved that his girls, just the way they were. Hearing her say that he might not be the only guy in the house in eight months. He really couldn't stop smiling now. "You're pregnant? We are going to have another baby?" This made him so happy. He bounced up out of his chair and hugged her. Surprise, yes he was.

He was getting it, wasn't he? Baby back ribs wasn't he a clever one. She giggled a bit and started eating when their food came. It tasted alright, but the smell, yep she remembered those days quickly. She pushed it back a moment to take a few deep breaths. She'd have to be getting some potion for that. Maybe her wondeful husband could help her out.

Her giggles grew into laughter as she jumped and hugged her. She got up and hugged him too. Seeing the stares she laughed and cried a bit, "We are having a baby, I just told him." She didn't care if she said it to the world at this point. He was such a cute man and his love for his family made him even cuter.

He watched after he through out the baby back ribs hint at her. He grinned at her. Then watched her eat... and then push it away. He couldn't help but to chuckle. "Not as hungry as you though you were?" He started to eat his own food. He would have offered her some of his but that would probably be worst on her than the lasagna. He could help with that.

He couldn't stop beaming, You know how they women glow yep his wife was glowing, he was beaming. Why had he not see or know? All of the signs was there the more thought about it now. He was unaware that others in the restaurant was looking, he didn't mind or care. He kissed his wife on the forehead. Think goodness for happy tears. "Baby number three. It's totally going to be a boy this time." He chuckled as he told the others as well. He took a seat. "So this is what our special night was about?"

She eyed the chuckle. He thought it was funny to feel sick all the time? Though she did eye him a smile did cross her lips. "I just need a breather." The smells got a bit overwhelming. "I don't care either way really. I mean if it is a girl I'll still be happy, but I'd like if we had a boy." She wasn't going to lie, she did want a boy. A girl would be nice, though, they wouldn't have to buy any new clothes or decorate differently. "I'm going to need some potions thought if this keeps up. The practice season won't be fun if I keep feeling this way." She would have to tell the team though, but that could wait.

Moving her plate close again she was very happy with his reaction and she couldn't stop smiling. "It would be nice to have a little boy running around. The girls would love it too I think." They had each other for sisters, a little prince in the house would make things so nice. She laughed at his reaction to the rest of the place and hugged him again. "I love you Axel." This was truly a happy moment for them and she was glad she planned it this way.

"Yes it was why I wanted this night out."

Opps and now he was being eyed, he stopped mid chuckle and coughed. He remembered those days with the girls, when just about everything turned her stomach. He nodded. "Take your time." They had plenty of time, he liked it being just them going out to dinner. Reaching across the table he took her hand and smiled. "I will get you whatever you need, potions, midnight cravings, anything you need." Whatever made it easier on her for gobstones and anything else.

A boy? That would be great but so with three daughters that would be fine too. [b]"It would be fun the girls with their little brother"['b] It would sure balance out the girl to boy ratio in the house, kind of if you did count the dog. He let go of her hand so she could eat. Three kids they were going to have three kids. Smiling in her "I love you, too." Hugging her back. "Wow three kids can you believe it?"

She smiled at him and squeezed his hand as he took hers. She loved him so much and loved them growing their family more, though this might be the last one. She wasn't sure she could handle anymore. Not one of their children were truly planned, which was okay, but goodness the surprises were enough now. "Thank you sweetie." Hew as so patient and she knew that was the healer in him. It was a blessing to have a healer at home for many things. "Just the potion for now. It's too early for the cravings and such." She wouldn't hav those for a least a bit.

"We are going to be out numbered. Good thing neither of us travel too much." She couldnt imagine trying to take care of all three of them alone. She was so grateful for both their jobs and the flexiablility they both had. She continued to eat her food a bit slower than usual, but she got through it. We should do something cute to tell the girls. Get a cake that says big sisters or shirts or something."[/b] They could really could get creative with this if they wanted.

He was on cloud nine right now, nothing could be better. Well other than the baby being a boy. He would take care of her whatever she needed. "I can get you some as soon as we get home." If he would have known he could've bought his medical bag. He smiled at his wife. I couldn't stop either. He absolutely loved his family and could not wait for another baby.

He chuckled. He never imagined having so many kids, yes three had always sounded like a lot to him. Don't get him wrong he loved kids his own, his youngest brother, nieces and nephews. Even his patients. Nodding at his wife. "Yeah we will be outnumbered. I'd love to be a stay at home dad." He really would he would love it so much. If he could do it he would. His smile got even wider "They would love that. Something fun to let them know that they will both be big sisters now." His little girls, Char was already such a good big sister and now she would have two siblings to take care of.

She loved his reaction, he was the most amazing man and his love for his family was just beyond adorable. "I'm pretty sure the team has to be tired of us always having babies during the season though. At least this one will come after as long as everything goes well." She had a pleasant experience with her second pregnancy,
but the first still haunted her. "Thank you, love, I don't know what I'd do without you." Their relationship had been a whirlwind and it didn't seem to be stopping anytime soon, which she was fully okay with.

"Then do it." She was fully serious. The amount of many they paid for childcare during the season was crazy. She made enough with Gobstones and they had plenty saved from his practice. "You could go part time if you wanted to just try it out to really make sure." She didn't mind if he wanted to do it and supported it. She loved the thought of him home with the children all the time.


"Yes, but what should we do? Maybe shirts?" They could get gifts and have big sister shirts in there for them to tell them. "We can show them the ultrasound picture, maybe you could even do the charm to hear the heartbeat so they can."
