SSRP: Christian's first birthday

On September 4th Christian’s first birthday party has finally arrived. Much planning had gone into the little man’s big day. His mother and grandma Culloden has put together a nice party of him. A few short days after his birthday, the big bash is set to begin.

There are tons of light blue, dark blue and white balloons and streamers dangling from ceilings. Hanging up on a wall as you walk into the family room is stringed up month by month pictures of the birthday boy, between the family room and the kitchen is a table full of blue, and one themed items for your taste buds to enjoy. In the kitchen there is a high chair sit up ready for little hands to dig in.

There's party games in the backyard for the older kids, and daycare friends of the birthday boy. (Even the adults will enjoy the entertainment)

His son was one. His son, Bart's son. How was this possible. They had just adopted him a year ago. He remembered when they got the message that the mother had been giving birth. He wasn't feeling ready, but then he saw the baby and knew he was ready for anything. Now they were actually having a birthday party for their one year old.


Cinna and his mother had planned it all, which was good since he had been practicing again. Though he would have helped if asked, but he was okay not being asked. "This looks great babe." He smiled at his wife as he watched Christian pull himself up on the sofa. "Do you like the balloons buddy?" He reached and grabbed one of Christian has he bent down handing it to him. "No, don't try to eat it. Come on buddy just play with it." His mother and wife would kill him if their little prince ate a balloon.

Everything just had to be perfect for today, yes Cinnamon had became that kind of mother. Not that it had became a bad thing. Just everything had be perfect Even though Christian won't remember this birthday. She bought in the last tray of food and sit it on the food table. "Now no eating, anything until the guest are here." She said as she turned to around and looked at her husband with a serious face and then grinned. She knew him, and knew that he would start eating the food as soon as he could. She took a look around before turning again to look at him. 'Thank you. You don't think I over did it do you? Asking with a chuckle. She had this party planning and organization thing done pretty good, well with the help of her mother in law, of course.

Look at how cute her little boy was sitting on the couch playing with a balloon. She walked over and sit next to him. She smiled and kissed her little prince on top of the head. He was just too adorable. How was he one already? It was hard to believe they had adopted him a year ago, too. She couldn't stop grinning as she watched him. She looked up to check the time. It wouldn't be too long before everyone would be there. "Are you ready for some cake buddy?" The little man was lucky he was getting his own little cake later that he could practically dive into head first and really dig into. Wasn't that like everyone's dream?

Guest would be coming soon, he figured that much. Especially his mother and family. They couldn't get here fast enough if they weren't allowed to eat until everyone was there. "Oh come on babe, just a nibble. I had practice today. I'm starving." Truth be told she did know him and even if he didn't have practice he'd still be starving. There was a big part of Bart that would never ever change and that was his hunger. He always wanted to eat. He loved food.


Watching his son he smiled, "I think that was a yes, he wants cake. Maybe we should just let him have a little bit." Baby eats so does daddy. Bring on the cake. Just then he heard the door and smiled. "Saved by the bell I guess." Don't worry though food you will be eaten soon.

Opening the door his family stood in front of him. "Hey guys. Come on in." Not that his family ever had to knock, but hey it was a crazy day why not.



Alana held her house elf's hand. He was going everywhere with her. She loved Zippy and he had become her very best friend. "Bart!!" Her brother got big hugs. It was always nice to see him. She loved her brother so much, but it was the baby she wanted to see. She wanted to show off her house elf to, because she got a house elf not her sisters. "Zippy wanted to come to the party to." Bart didn't care, right?


Holding some of the gifts Victoria had followed Zippy and Alana into the house. She had to admit paying a house elf to be around wasn't to horrible. She got extra hands with the kids and someone who liked cooking and cleaning. "Hi Bart, Hello Cinna. This place looks amazing." She beamed so brightly seeing everything.


Setting the gifts down she turned to see Christian pulling himself up. "Young man you are getting to big. You really need to stop growing." How the time did fly and soon they would have to make sure the houses were baby proofed, because this boy would be a walker before they knew it.

Cosgrach was holding Helena's hand as they waited for the door to be opened by the party holders. He could sense the little girl's excitement as well. She loved the BABY and parties and cakes and balloons. The door was finally open.

"Hey, son," he greeted the young-adult in front of him, who had been a dad for one full year. "How's being a dad going? Still wanna go on after a year?" He grinned and turned to Cinna.

"Hey there, the world's best mum." Although he had never admitted it to anyone, they were doing FAR better than he had thought. They really were grown ups now, weren't they?

He eyed the little baby, but the girls and Vic were already playing with him, so he figured he could help Cinna. "Need help with anything?"

BABYBABYBABY THEY WERE GOING TO SEE THE BABYYYYYY. Helena just couldn't stand still. She did love all those stuff, plus playing with the baby and her sisters and their house elf Zippy. Well, dad and mama said Zippy was Alana's really, but Helena always shared everything with Alana (maybe only after using it herself first and sometimes after stern looks from dad and mama) and so it was only NATURAL that they ALL play together.

All of these confusing thoughts were forgotten the moment the door was open. "Bruvvah Baaaaahhhht!" the girl exclaimed as she ran to hug his leg and a bit of his abdomen. Although she was a BIG SIS to his baby now, he was still so big for her. She would probably be as big as him in... in... TWO years though, because age NINE sounded so big. She was drinking lots of milk for that, and she also tried to touch the ceiling with her toy broom because if she could just touch the ceiling she would get that big, but her dad or mama always caught her before she could. One day, she would do it and then SHE would become a BIG SIS for big bruvvah Baht too.

...no, she didn't know she was four years shy of age nine, nor did she know she was never going to be as big as big bruvvah Baht.

After a firm hug, she ran over to the BABY.

"Hi Christian! Recognise your big sis?" she asked and sat next to him.

.......suddenly, she was looking at her mama in horror. Because she said Christian shouldn't grow more. What if her mama cast a spell on her to stop growing too? Or what if Christian was a GIANT that grew too fast???????

"Mama!" she whispered (which was pretty much audible but she thought she did), "is Christian a giant?"

Baby's first birthday party? Oncle Cotty wasn't missing it for nothin' even if he had nothing he was willing to sacrifice to the low casted tide of grubby hands that was bound to be present. Did it matter? There were charms for that. Also, the newly single Cutty understood that there'd be childless and unmarried people present as well and nothing suited like a suit. It was one of the less older ones, with a floral tie he'd gotten that time Damien, that blessed angel, had taken him shopping for his first day at Gringotts.

He stepped into the space trailing a cloud of oud & roses behind him and a VERY large gift in front on him. His eyes took in the light blue scene and considered if this was the norm. "Cinna! Bart!" He acknowledged the proud parents first. "Where d'yer want the gifts?"

The idea of himself going to a little kids birthday party would have usually made Keegan shudder. Kids yelling.... messy... just... not his forte. But, Bart and Cinna's kid was a different story. He'd spent a good two weeks with them in the summer and had gotten kinda close. Christian kinda had a thing for pulling on his nose. It was their thing.

SO attending Christian's birthday party with Brynn was going to be fun. Besides, Bart and Cinna were going to be there. The parents. They were cool. Bart... Keegan didn't know about him at first. But gave him a chance because he was Brynn's best friend. He grew on Keegan. Even, despite, an article coming out stating that Bart had a girlfriend on the side.... his girlfriend.... Brynn. But Keegan knew better.... Brynn and Bart were best friends. And Brynn wasn't like that. Yep. Mhm.

Keegan headed up to the front of the house. He told Brynn he'd meet her here. He had some last minute class things to do and was going to be pushing for time. He liked the party balloons and streamers.

Brynn could hardly believe that Bart and Cinna's little boy was one year old already. Where had the time gone? It was still weird to her that they were married and had a kid already, especially when she was pretty much the same age. Good for them though.

The twenty year old flooed to the house and stepped out of the fireplace, a large present in her arms. Keegan was meant to be meeting her there, but she wondered if he had gotten there ahead of her. "Hello?" she called out, looking towards the small crowd of people. "Hi!" she beamed over at her friends. "Happy birthday, Christian.." Yes, where do the gifts go? Good question, Cutty.

Before his wife could really answer about the food more were coming in. So it was time to eat. Plus the gifts were fun, did Christian see all the gifts. Maybe there were toys he could play with the child or by himself if they were the real fun ones. A parent could still play with toys, right? He smiled seeing his sisters and giving them each a hug, though Helena seemed to be focused on Christian and didn't stay for a hug long. He couldn't believe how big she was already. "Of course Zippy can come to the party. Hello Zippy." The house elf was kind of interesting and he couldn't help but think of the things he would have had the thing do when he was Alana's age.

Looking at his mom as the girls ran off, "How is she doing with everything?" He couldn't help but feel worried about his little sister. Being a squib had to be rough, it seemed rough for everyone. His mother looked as if she had aged from the worry and stress she seemed to be under. He placed and arm around his mother to give her a proper hug as well once she had the gifts out of her hands.

Laughing at his father's comment he shook his head, "Not so bad yet, but as you can see the little guy is going to be walking soon. So maybe that's when he comes to live with you and mom for awhile?" He was just joking of course. Hearing Helena call herself big sis to his son he glanced at his mother and father? She was pretty young so probably didn't realize she was his aunt not his sister. "Helena I think there are some games that Cinna put out for you guys to play." Maybe some candy to sugar them all up to.

When one of the best friends walked into the room Bart walked from his parents over to Cutty, "Hey mate, oh yeah gifts go right over there. I can take it from you if you want? You spoiling my kid?" He looked to Christian and then to Cutty. "Can't believe he's a year already. I still think you should think about the idea I gave you before we adopted him. Could be good for the second one." Was it weird he was cool with it? It would give his wife what she wanted as well as an interesting mix of things.


A knock at the door and the fireplace at the same time made him look in both directions. "Hey Brynny where is the..." That's when he opened the door and "Oh there you are. Welcome mate come on in." He stepped out of the way to let Brynn's boyfriend come in. "Gifts go over there. Foods ready to eat as well. So dig in everyone." Them eating meant Bart could eat as well.


Vic cooed at her grandson and talked to him until she saw her son walk over. Standing she hugged him tightly. How did he get so grownup. "She's doing alright. She gets upset at times, but that's expected. Her father and I have been meeting a healer and the new minister is very focused on bringing more support for squibs. So she has a bright future." Victoria had to stay hopeful for her daughter. She would do anything.

Her eyes moving to all the new guest she smiled, "Hello Cutty, how are you doing?" She hadn't seen many of Bart's friends since he was at Hogwarts so this was a nice day to get to see how they were all doing as well. Seeing Brynn come through the fireplace she smiled and gave the girl a hug when she didn't have the gifts in her hand anymore. "How are you Brynn, it feels like ages since I've seen you."


Alana looked around before moving more into the house and sitting on the floor near Christian. She watched the baby try to move around the table. Babies were boring in her opinion. She had watched Helena do that all to and she got so much attention doing it. Why was it so impressive to pull yourself up on a table and walk. Alana didn't see the big deal. She turned to Zippy, "Want to play a game with me?" or maybe they could get some food?

There was no way that little baby Christian was ONE already. It was impossible, though it had somehow happened. Lux was not ready for this, but she was still very excited to be able to experience this party. Of course she would - this was Cinna and Bart's child and one of the sweetest babies in the world. Her nephew was the other one of course.

Beaming, she made her way up the front of the house and towards the front door. After straightening out her dress, Lux knocked on the door. Hopefully she wasn't late for the party!

The door opened and Bart was standing in front of him. Keegan gave him a side smile and offered the hand a present wasnt in. "Hey man! Happy Birthday to your son! Can you believe it?" He asked as he walked into the house and took a look around.

This place was amazing. He liked the blue decorations for Christian's party. Keegan's eyes searched first and foremost though, for Brynn.. and finally found her.

Leaving Bart, he made a beeline for her and gave her a side a little poke. "Hey there" He said with a big grin before looking to where he could put his gift. "Do you know where we put there presents at?"

Eden arrived at Christian's party with a prettily wrapped present under her arm. She got to the address that was on the invitation and looked around for....familiar faces.

The very first one she saw was Cinna. Ah good! She waved and was starting to make her way over when she spotted PROFESSOR CULLODEN LMAO HAHAHAHA. She remembered how sucky she'd been at Potions at hogwarts and how good she was now and...wow. She didn't REALLY wanna' talk to him, but there he was, ha. And he was technically Cigna's kid's grandfather, right?

"Hey Cinna!" she called out as she got closer. She thought she saw a familiar dark haired fellow nearby but though 'no, that couldn't possibly be Cutty!' and also....that bABY WAS SO DISTRACTING. "He is SO cute, Cinna! Hey Bart!" she said with a smile and a wave. "Phe had work and couldn't make it today." Pity.

It wasn't going to kill her husband to wait ten or twenty minutes to eat, She was really just teasing him about more than anything. They would wait until at least a few people showed up. Mostly when the family showed up. They would probably be the first ones there. Most likely his side of the family. "It won't be much long then you can." She laughed and leaned over to kiss his cheek.

How was it her baby boy was a year old already? She just loved her little family.
"Well... maybe just a bite." Yes, sometimes she just had to give into her boys. She was about to get up, it wouldn't hurt for just a bite. But she heard the door too. "Told you they'd be here soon." Now it wouldn't be long at all.

Cinna smiled as they all came in. It was great to have such a big family around them. "Hey, everyone." As they came in she hugged the girts. She could not believe how big they had gotten. The twins was a few years older than Christian is now when she first met them. 'That's nice that you bought your elf, Alana." She looked over at her husband, maybe they could get a elf too, it wasn't a bad idea especially when or if had decided on another little one. What Helena Cinna don't get a hug? Like everyone, she had ran the baby. She just laughed,

Not many people got along as with their in-laws like Cinna did, it was definitely a perk to being married to Bart, his parents were great, She had gotten pretty lucky on that. Plus they just adored her. She smile]d at her mother-in-laws comment and give her a hug. [b]"Thank you. I'm surprised it all came together so well." She wasn't much of a party decorator, but thanks to Victoria for going with her to get the supplies. She gave Cossy at hug too, She had to hear what Bart's answer was to this question. "Not right now, sit down and enjoy yourself, grandpa." Grinning. See great in laws. Sisters included. "We've got lots of games for everyone."

Now where was her family, surely they hadn't forgotten about today.

Maybe that was them, hearing someone appear. Nope not her MIA family, It was Cutty though. She moved across the room to greet him. "Hello Cutty glad you made it." Well that was quite a large present it was nearly as big as her son. Speaking of that idea she was surprised that she was okay with it, and even more surprised that her husband was too. Though, she thought that even though their son was a year old that it wasn't quite the time to think about more.

Now it seems like eveyone was coming, and in every direction Next was Byrnn and Keegan. They had such a great time with them on vacation over the summer. It was really nice to spend time with them. Cinna had always thought of Brynn as her friend too. "Hi Brynn, Keegan. It's great to see you too," Giving both of them a hug. Then turning to her husband with a grin, 'Why don't you go ahead and grab some food?' She could handle to the door and floo by herself.

And someone else was at the door, she give Bart little push toward the food as she headed to the door. She opened it and there was Lux, and Eden. Finally some of her Not really, they pretty much shared their friends at this point. 'Come on in. ladies." She hugged Lux first. It wasn't to long ago that her and Lux had lunch together, they tried to that at least once a month. And then she hugged Eden. She hadn't seen Eden since her wedding, "Oh no that's too bad. So Mrs. Toros How is married life?" Asking with chuckle.

Not so bad, said Bart? Cosgrach laughed. "Yeeeeeah, sure, that's what the parents are for!" To look after one-year-olds running around! HEHEHE, no, he knew that was a joke too. "Anyway, just wanted to say..." he looked around, because he didn't want to embarrass Bart, but he also wanted to say it, "I'm really proud of you." For how he turned out to be.

Then he hugged Cinna back and grinned dreamily at the phrase 'grandpa'. He was one, really... still felt so weird, but also great. "This party's going to be great," he said, and then took her advice to sit and enjoy when the guests started to come in.

The first one was... Cutty Mordaunt? Cosgrach hadn't seen the boy (young man) in ages, even though he did keep in touch with his mother. So he walked over to him to greet.

"Hello, young man," he said with a smile, hand extended for a shake.

Then he saw Eden and waved at the girl, who was too busy... tackling Lux. Well, yeah, okay, was that something 20-somethings did these days?

He was going to assume that didn't happen.

Wait, hold on, had Cinna referred Eden as 'Mrs. Toros'+'married life'????????



Bart say what? Helena's radar caught the words 'game' and 'Cinna' and that was enough - although she did have a dilemma that lasted for approximately 0.4 seconds (should she stay with the BABY or should she play?), she solved the dilemma pretty quick: Christian could WATCH her play!!! So of course, only with the energy a five-year-old had, she JUMPED to her feet and pretty much ran to Cinna. She didn't care who she was talking to (even though her mum and dad always told her to never interrupt - they couldn't see her now so she was safe). She just started pulling at her clothes to get her attention.

"Christian and Alana and Zippy and me are going to play."

His hands free now, He leaned over and hugged Mrs. Culloden. "Mrs. Culloden. Did yer know Bart hadda baby!" He continued his joshing.

And then they'd both said a thing and it made Cutty feel as though he'd promised them that he'd swear the oath to some sort of secret club for some manner of specialty interest. Curiously, Cutty seemed unpreturbed and eager for it, though he did not recall what he had agreed to.

Eden Toros. Ha! As if she thought marriage would save her. His thoughts amused by this and blissfully unaware of the utter hypocrisy of his own former situation.

Cutty, in the mood to be playful, shook the hand that was offered him by his former Potions Professor and mum's friend, "Have we met before? Are yer a mugwump? I'm called Cutty."
And then he laughed. "Joost Joshin'! Get in 'ere! Git in 'ere, Cosgrach Culloden and give yer former student an hug!" Said the younger wizard pulling Cossy into a hug. His classes were NEVER a snoozefest for Cutty...and that was really saying something. Maybe he didn't win the campaign, but now he had experience for how to run and that would prove every bit as useful as his knowledge of Potions to Cutty, who considered finding someone to groom for the next few Ministry elections. He would be keeping the company of Bart, Brynn (who he barely recognized) and Professor Culloden for what he felt was likely to be the duration of this shindig.

Could he believe it? Well, of course, he could believe it Keegan, he had lived it. All the sleepless nights, all the spitting up, all the diapers, yep he could believe it. "It goes fast." He really couldn't believe Christian was a year old already.

He laughed at his wife as she showed she was right about them coming early. "Yes, yes I know dear. You are always right." Cinna was usually right so he'd give her that. His eyes moved to Lux and Eden as they came in. "Hello everyone." See Bart was polite. HE could do that much.

He looked at his father with a bit of a shock, he was proud of him. Not that he didn't really already know that, but it was a nice boost to the ego to hear it. "Thanks, dad." Ahem no more emotional moments, okay? His focus went to Cutty as he fully ignored the comment about him having a part in possibly their next kid. Yes, he had asked his best friend that before. "I'm sure it's more than nothing." His friend was a good gift giver so he assumed Christian would be spoiled with it.

Victoria watch as all these children she saw grow up came into the room. It was crazy they were all grown up, working, getting married, and having kids. She watched her youngest daughters run around the house and thought about how time would go way to fast for them as well. Her attention was taken when she was being hugged. "Hello Cutty, how are you doing? It has been awhile since we saw you." She laughed at his words, "Yes I did hear that he and Cinna adopted a baby. He's really a wonderful add to the family." She adored her grandson to pieces.

Smiling a bit to Cinna as she brought up Zippy. "Oh yes, Zippy wanted to come and play as well." He was standing still holding her hand, though she was the one holding on. She felt special with the elf around. People wanted to be her friend knowing she had an elf buddy at home. What was Helena on about? Games? She looked around, "Sure I'll play some games." Zippy would want to as well. She got up to follow Helena. "What do you want to play? There looks like pin the nose on the gnome or ring toss to the dragon."


The birthday boy was really confused. He looked around at the coffee table. What were all these people doing here? Who were all these people? His eyes went around the room until he saw grandma and smiled. Hi grandma! He made baby noises as she came over and then Alana and Helena talked to him. His baby smile got big for Helena, but soon she was gone. He wanted to follow her but his little legs weren't sure what to fully do yet so he dropped to the ground and tried to follow.

Brynn opened her mouth to answer Bart, but before she could, he was off to answer the door. Well, that was weird, but she supposed she should expect it. It was a birthday party after all, and many guests would be arriving. Speaking of guests, she side-eyed Cutty, not realizing he would be here today. She had always been rather intimidated by him at school and she hadn't seen him since then, but she would be polite. "Hello, Cutty," she said brightly as she was nearest him before she'd greet Bart's mother. "How have you been?" Hopefully he remembered who she was or she'd be a little embarrassed for saying anything.

She set her gift down on the table holding the others and she returned Victoria's hug. "Hello, Mrs. Culloden. Hi, Professor Culloden." She probably shouldn't call him professor anymore, seeing as he was no longer her Potions professor. But old habits die hard and that was how she knew him best, even if he was Bart's step-dad. "I guess it has been a while," she answered Bart's mum's question with a soft smile. "I'm doing well though. I'm in my last year at WADA." Then hopefully she would find a job or something. She was getting a little nervous about it.

Brynn's eyes fell on the house elf momentarily, her eyes lifting to Alana whom she gave a small smile. She was just about to walk over to the young girl as she had something in her pocket for her when her boyfriend arrived. A side poke? A kiss would have been a nicer greeting but she gave him a bright smile, then looked curiously at his present. Oh... she thought they were going in together on the gift. She pointed over at the table where she had left hers. "Right over there with the others."

Oh, there was Cinna, and Brynn smiled as she hugged her back. It must be very busy for the mum of a child who was having a birthday party. So much to do and get things ready and host everyone. "Thank you for having us." She glanced at Keegan. "Maybe we should get something to eat." Was that Eden? Bryn inconspicuously watched her as she spoke to pretty much everyone but her. She knew that she wasn't all that popular in school, not like Eden was, and they didn't hang around the same circles. But they were in the same house. Did she not remember her at all?

One year ago Cameron Bayless became a grandpa, and he was completely okay with it. Who would have thought? He still felt like he was way to young to have anyone calling him grandpa. He did love his grandson to pieces and loved spoiling the little man. Like all good grandparents did. His grandson was the luckiest one year old ever, having two sets of grandparents to spoiler him. The best grandparents, too. And the best parents, too. He wasn't just saying that because his daughter was Christian's mother. Bart had even turned out to be a great dad too.

He had just flooed into the party with his other daughter Zoe. Just in time to hear Cosgrach telling Bart that he was proud of him. Now it wasn't very often that Cam would admit to being wrong, or give a compliment like this. He really meant this though, "And I'm proud of you too, Bart." He said smiling at his son in law. The kid turned out to prove him wrong.... Yeah

Anyway where was his grandson and his oldest daughter?


All Zoe knew was it was Christian's birthday party and birthday parties meant cake. So Zoe was glad to be going. Helena was going to be there, too. They were the same age, Alana and Elisa would be there too. She liked that they were always willing to help her gang up on Chase. Thank Merlin that him and Mommy were coming a bit later.

So it was just her and dad. She looked around once her and daddy were out of the fireplace. Cinna had told her that there was going to be food and games. Avoiding as many adults as she could she headed to the food table first thing. She didn't even look anyone else.

Could Cossy be anymore cuter? He took this grandparenting to a whole new level. Actually each of her son's grandparent were great with him.Of course it was going to be a great party, no doubt She watched Cos join the other guest. She turned to her husband and grinned. Maybe Cutty had forgotten about their talk. It was quiet possible. "Don't forget that either, hot stuff. Now go eat." with a laugh. Yes, she just called him by the nickname she give him in front of everyone. She knew he was hungry, like always. She was going to join him too since the wave of guest had died down for the moment.

She was not crying today.... her baby had already turned one, and she may or may not have done enough crying on that day. So no, no crying today. No matter how great everything was going today... and the touching moment between her husband and her father in law. It was hard not to, cry at that. Then her dad and sister came through the fireplace. She just about to greet them when... yep. Now it was just to much. She smiled, from her spot not to far away, seeing that play out. She quickly wiped her eyes before anyone could see her. See she had always been right about him.

Making her way over to see her dad, and help him out with the many presents he had with him. She only could imagine how many more her mom would be bringing. Speaking of where was she? "Daddy!" She hugged him as best as she could. "Where's mum? She turned back to Alana. She was really glad that zippy seemed to be helping her. "Think I could talk your brother into getting a house elf for me?" She wasn't joking, this was her new goal, not that it would take much for Bart to crack for her. hehehe....

She felt someone tugging at her. It was hard to tell which one it was. Looking down she seen it was Helena. She smiled. "Alright. Let's play some games then." Since it was Christian's birthday he should get to play the games too. She seen her baby boy coming her way, meeting him half way she picked him up. "Hey, sweet boy, Are you ready to play some games?" But first she attacked her birthday prince with kisses. So they had enough kids around to play the games now.

A lot of kids and not enough help, She spotted Brynn. "Hey Brynn bring your food and come play some games." She said with a chuckle. She knew that she wouldn't mind playing game with the kids.

She was walking right beside her husband and children until Chase had fell distracted by something shiny in the house. Oh this child of hers. "Chase, come on or else you won't get any cake." The southern belle said sweetly and sternly to her son. Bribing him with cake always worked. Cake won again. Thank you god. Raeanne gently grabbed Chase's hand and walked towards he fireplace and flooed with her son to the party venue. How was it already a year since she became a grandmother? Time passes by so fast these days.

Chase was holding on to his mothers hand until he had spotted something as the rest of his family walked on he just walked back to where the distraction had caught his eye just a few moments earlier. It was so pretty! he didn't even know what the heck he was looking at and sadly he wouldn't know what it was he was looking at. He really didn't want to listen to his mother but there was cake involved and he really wanted cake more than anything in the world right now. Not flooing! There was no surprise to that! Chase let go of his mothers hand. "HI BART!" He yelled as he went running towards his big sister. "CIIIINNNNNNA!" the little kid said very loudly as he ran towards Cinna jumping up and down.

She was back to being blonde. Have her hair a darker color was a very nice change but she missed her blonde hair. Emmylou used the floo from her grandmothers house to get to the party. She had her present in her one hand and her son in the other. The blonde woman set Mason down and let him roam free. Hopefully he wouldn't get into any trouble right now. Emmy looked around the room to look for Cinna, her blue eyes ended up finding her Uncle Cam and Bart. "Hello everyone." she said with her usual smile. "Where would you like the present?" she was curious and she really didn't want to have something happen to her nephews gift while socializing.

Lux found herself giggling before pulling her friend into a hug. "Eden! It's so good to see you." Her friend looked amazing, but when DIDN'T she?? "Phe couldn't make it?" That was too bad but okay. They were both going solo today!

A moment later she was hugging her best friend. Cinnabun!!!"You look amazing." Like always. They were going to have a blast today, though the one thing she was not going to do was make her cry by talking about how fast Christian was growing up. Nope. Instead she stepped inside, grinning at everyone. "Hello everyone!" Special smiles for Bart, Professor Culloden, Cameron, and Victoria. What a big day for them today!!

It was nice to see everyone though things felt awkward when Emmy arrived. They had not talked in a long time even if they were family now and Lux felt as if they probably never would at this point. It still made her sad if she was being honest. A small smile was sent her way, however.

There was a few things going through Barts mind at that moment. 1. How many people did his wife invite? 2. He was glad to see all his old friends and their family come over to celebrate their adopted son's first birthday. 3. Could they eat now?


He looked to Brynn as she spoke to his mother. Maybe she could help a little ease his mom's anxiety. He knew she was going through a lot with his sister being a squib, but with Brynn's mom being one it was good to have that support. "Brynny you should have brought your mom. How is she doing?" He looked up when he heard his father-in-law say about being proud of him. "Thank you sir" That really was something he never thought he would hear from the man. He remembered when Cam told him to stay away from Cinna, not something he would ever listen to. There was nothing that would keep him away from his wife.

When the wife said go eat he wasn't going to wait to be told twice. "Come on everyone lets get food." He headed for the kitchen and started filling his plate. Everyone else was following, right? That's when he saw Lux and Emmy "Hey you two, long time no see." His god son was running around too, he'd have to make sure to scoop the boy up and play with him once he was done eating.


Everyone coming in now made Victoria smile. She didn't think she ever had a party so big for her own son. Cinna really out did herself and it was just lovely. Turning and smiling at Brynn as she said it was her final year at WADA, Vic couldn't believe how big all the kids had gotten. She got to watch these children grow into very amazing adults. "Well congratulations. Do you know what you are going to do afterward?"
