Welcome to your second duel!
This is a key stepping stone into determining your placement in the Jinx Tournament so please take this seriously. A list of spells to use can be found HERE while the cost of physical actions can be found below.
Please note that these actions take away from the Fatigue Points section. Also note that these are only taken into account if you're attacking or avoiding a spell. If you're simply moving around the hall, these points don't need to be considered.

OOC: This duel must be completed by the 30th of October by 11:59pm GMT. You're required to make a minimum of 3 posts each in that time.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate in contacting me about them or posting them in the Dueling Club Rules thread. If you don't think you can post during that time or you don't think you can start/finish your duel, please let me know as soon as possible and we'll try and work something out.
Remember to keep a track of your points both in the title of your post (before any spells have been cast) and at the end of the post (after your charrie has cast a spell). Please refer to this post if you're confused as to how this works or, simply, come to me. Include as much information as you can about the spell in the spoiler section at the bottom of your post, including the directionality of the spell.
Also remember to be as realistic as possible with your charrie's age and ability.
First person mentioned in the thread title is the first person to start off the duel.

Harvey had been waiting for another duel for ages. This was finally it! He didn't know the girl he was fighting - Junia, he though her name was, but he was a tiny bit worried. She was a second year, after all.
It was time to surprise her.
Pointing his wand, he decided to start with tripping her up.

After the paces and bowing, Junia's first and immediate move was to cast the feather-light charm on herself. She was small already, which added to her quickness, but so was her opponent. This charm might just give her an edge and she didn't want to lose again. Losing was humiliating.
She'd only just finished her spell when the first year sent his trip jinx her way. It hit, catching at her feet and causing her to fall forward. Luckily the added lightness allowed her to catch the fall at a roll, bringing her up to her feet again rather quickly.
Without missing a beat, the second year trained her wand at the boy and called clearly, "Slugulus Eructo!" Disgusting spell, that was. It worked, though. Or at least she hoped it would.

Harvey felt a choking sensation as nausea overwhelmed him. Oh, no!
Slugs! This was so gross! Disgusting! And he couldn't do anything about it!
As he waited for the grossness to stop in a corner so he wouldn't vomit over anyone else, he vowed to himself to prepare better next time.
And he would have to study up on that charm his opponent had cast on herself before they started. She had recovered from that tripping episode far quicker than he'd thought.
Right, when was this going to end??

Talk about gross.
Junia took a few steps back as the first year started to puke up slugs. Her own stomach felt queasy at the sight but she did her best to ignore it, knowing she couldn't afford to lose her head. BESIDES, princesses, she was sure, did not puke in public. That's what the loo was for.
Was it wrong to cast on someone when they were ill? The snake only took a moment to decide that no, not when you were dueling. Any opportunity was surely going to be seized. "Colloshoo!" She said firmly, wand trained on Harvey's feet. Sorry not sorry for rooting you to the spot. It would probably be extra uncomfortable what with the slug vomit smell and all. Maybe she could make it up to him with another spell? Surely everyone liked to be tickled. "Rictusempra!"

Harvey finally stopped throwing up. But he found himself unable to move. And then... tickled!
This was awful!
He was going to get back at her... just as soon as he got his breath back.
First of all, he had to stop her from casting more spells. And if Junia couldn't hold her wand well enough to point it accurately...
Jelly-fingers curse it was. To be followed by...
"Locomotor Wibbly!"
That should do it. Harvey watched his spells take effect.

Junia had expected retaliation and was quick to throw up a shield, preventing Harvey's first spell from having an impact on her. His second, however, was unexpected. It caused Junia's legs to turn to jelly, a feeling she'd experienced when Adrastos gave her her very first kiss, and the second year fell over to the side, hitting the ground in a rather ungraceful manner.
UGH. Not cool. Not cool at all.
Narrowing her eyes slightly, the second year didn't bother getting up as she threw everything she had into a clear and forceful, "Expelliarmus!" Couldn't very well catch her off guard again if he didn't have his wand, could he?

Hirsch was looking forward to this duel. Why? Because he had yet to see Mr Jarvis's duelling skills and he was hoping that Miss Botros would help to challenge him enough to bring it out. He was new to this, yes, and it might've been unfair to pair him up with someone who was older than him but to Hirsch, this would work.
And it did.
Something he picked up on? The defensive side. He didn't expect either duellers to be brilliant at casting any protective charms but it was a side that they both needed to work on over the coming years. There was plenty of time for this and, hopefully, they would grow to outshine even the best duellists. For now, however, defence was what he was looking for.
Oh, will you look at that? The time was coming to a close.
Taking out his wand, he struck up a magical shield between the pair before Miss Botros - who looked like she was about to send the boy packing - could attack Mr Jarvis with the Disarming spell. "Well done! Very well done to both of you." Really. He was happy with this. "Miss Botros, you've taken the lead today and for that, congratulations. Mr Jarvis, well done on putting up an excellent fight, especially against someone older than you." It wasn't easy, he knew that.
