House-Elf Quarters

[Zoe]

Tucked away in between two cupboards in the kitchen a tiny elf-sized door can be found. Opening this door, too small for anyone to squeeze through besides a first or second year, will reveal the private living quarters of the Hogwarts house-elves.

This space is warmly lit due to a roaring fire that illuminates the place. Near the fireplace are a few wooden rocking chairs with little patterned cushions on them. Here the elves talk to each other about their work or discuss other elf matters. Lining the walls are bunk beds and pillows for each of those hard-working creatures to sleep on once all of their day's work is done. In spite of the beds being present in the room, there are certain house-elves that prefer to make nests beds of their own from random pillowcases, tea towels, potholders, bits of yarn, old lint, and the like.

[Tippin]

Tippin is tiredes, rocky rocky rocky on the chairs. Tippin makes some scarfs, for studenties be cold out shortly needs heats they do.

[Quirly]

Choreses was done for the day. Quirly is puttings her spatula to sleeps. Quirly too is sleepyes. Quirly sees tippins makes scarveses. "Goods tippins good." Quirly sees messy beds. No no no. Quirly makes the beds, so friendes can sleeps betters.

[Toddles]

Toddles comes back home. Toddles is tired. Oh yes toddles is. Toddles needs to rests. Toddles sees Tippins and Quirly. Toddles bows toward elfsies. "Tippins what is doing?" Toddles sees scarfsies. Toddles knows Tippins doings. "Can Toddles helps?"

[Tippin]

Tippin smiles Tippins happy "Quirly good" knittings away making things

"Toodles" Tippins friend yes "Tippin makes scarves and things for studenties to keep warms he does, Todles cans helps"

[Pips]

Pips came running in and hiccuping all around. "Pips is wet, pips fall in the water." He was having very bad day. Why was he falling in things. First the bathroom and now the second floor. Pulling at his big ears he looked around.

"What is going on here?"

[Beezley]

Beezley yawned and stretched her little elfish arms. She had been awake way too long, yes she had. She hadn't slept well at all last night and just wanted to curl up in a little ball on the floor and sleep. There was work to be done, though.

Starting with Pips.

"Beezley sees Pips is wet. Can Beezley help Pips?" she asked. Her big, elfish eyes looked at the other elf. Was Pips hurt? Was studentsies hurt? She blinked and looked around. Had something happened?

[Pips]

"Pips needs to dry and he didn't want to in front of the students or professors. Pips was already made a full of himself in front of masters and misses." He pulled at his ears and started banging his head against the wall. "Bad Pips, bad"
