Dexter watched her take her hand back and followed after her as she began the walk. He was a bit lost for words. It was a rare moment for the man, as he was always known to be rather smooth with women. But after a moment of glancing around a bit and neither of them talking, he figured it was time for him to interject.
After a moment of thinking about what to say without sounding like a complete creep or something he managed to speak. "Ya live 'round here. Tha' mean you work 'round here too?"
Emily was at ease, this was, more or less, routine for her. The only difference being, she wasn't alone. Dexter's silence, was appreciated. Not because she didn't want to talk to the man, but because it gave her the opportunity to think without distractions. And if she were being completely honest, she valued the strong silent type...
However, the air was getting a little stagnant, and as much as she enjoyed observing the mysterious Dexter, she did hope to extract a bit more information about him.
Tucking a few loose strands of hair behind her ear, Emily turned her head as Dexter posed a question. She couldn't help but smirk. "I do," she answered simply. "And yourself?... You're clearly new to these parts, so either you're here for pleasure, family.. or you're here for business."

The wizard himself hadn't noticed the three either--he seemed very focused on jinxing muggles in a gleeful manner and in actual fact was moving away from the three wizards with each flick of his wand chasing some of the muggles who were running away.
Keeping her voice low, she answered Saul, "No, we can't especially since there are muggles around still and we can't afford to spook him. I have one idea but it is extremely difficult with all these muggles here-- it involves combination of legilimency and reminiciating meaning planting a false vision in his mind allowing you two to sneak up on him unnoticed. If you have any other ideas, I'm open to them."
It was a little disconcerting that Saul was completely unfamiliar with the Statute, but he hadn't been around when Cade gave her training and so may not realize the clauses related to appropriate Muggle dress. Regardless, the point was moot, as the man was casting spells and very obviously breaking loads of other and more infractionable parts of the Statute.
"Shall we go for simple subterfuge first and then go with the more difficult attempt? Maybe one of us should try to distract him, while the others deal with him magically. I would suggest a Confundus until we get him out of sight, but it would help significantly if either of you was good with wandless magic." It was a skill Cade had not yet mastered beyond some simple wards and shield charms.

Agrument aside, and that annoyed look Cade was giving him Saul figured it would be best to rereread the Statute. Just to be sure that he was right, and not have to feel the wrath of his superior after this job.
Jades idea was good but legilimancy wasn't a strong suit of his, anything involving memory modification could backfire easily on him. He'd stick to his impressive shields thank you. "That's an idea." Saul told the AC&C girl. "If you can do the memory modifying."
He paused as Cade spoke up. Now subterfuge was his kind of thing. "I'll distract him." He volunteered himself "He's seen you before," He eyed Jade "and I'm newest here so he won't recognize me if I do it. I'm okay with wandless magic too" His Older Brother trained him some in that area during his years as a Auror trainee in the Andorran MLE. "Just simple charms and jinxes though." He was good with what ever Cade wanted to put him up to.

She looked at Saul, "Of course I can do the memory modifying. It is part of my job," She shouldn't forget that he was new but really that was a silly question to ask someone who is a qualified reminiciator. "Can you do a wandless charm that is similar to a Confundus? That will help It will be up to you too to distract him though. I'll cast a general memory 'invisible' charm around him and you so that the muggles don't notice. But whatever we decide to do it needs to be done quickly because LOOK!" She pointed in the wizard's direction.
FERGUS, Loony Wizard Extraordinaire
Meanwhile...After a while of gleefully jinxing muggles including having fun with a particular muggle man whom Fergus liked to see being jerked up and down in the air by his magic. He was getting a little tired of his fun of seeing the muggles freak out by his magic and he felt so hungry.
Fergus looked around and saw that there was the little cafe on the corner. He started walking the first few steps towards the cafe all the while being escorted by the floating muggle who had yet to be released from the grip of Fergus' magic.

"Excellent. Teamwork," Cade smiled at the two absently, although her attention was already on the street and task ahead of them. Getting Mr. CrazyPants contained was priority, but with only three of them, they needed to worry about the Muggles in the area as well. It was too bad they didn't have a team of Obliviators, but she had full confidence that Jade would be an asset to them.
"How about this? I'm going to head straight for the cafe and for our friend there, and I'll draw his attention to me. Saul and Jade, you both wait until his attention and wand are on me, and you approach him from behind. I suggest that Saul cast the Confundus first, and once the man lowers his defenses, we want to contain him immediately. Jade, can you also Obliviate all these Muggle witnesses? I can cast and maintain an Invisibility Charm and Muggle-Repelling Charm in a perimeter around you both as you work, and that will free Jade up to work on the Muggles she can. Does that work?"

Jade watched Mr. Loony Wizard with the poor muggle floating behind him, but turned to look at Cade as the other woman made a suggestion. "That works fine. I can obliviate the muggle witnesses but my skill isn't as good as if we had a Obliviator with us unfortunately. I'll begin as soon as you both start distracting him."
FERGUS LOONY WIZARD
He was just so hungry and thirsty that the cafe looked like a welcoming beacon calling out to him. Fergus started to quicken his pace wanting to get to the cafe as quickly as he could. As he became distracted by his own hunger pains, his magic lost its grip on the muggle floating behind him. The muggle man fell to the pavement, groaning as he hit the ground. Fergus paid no attention to him at all.

Teamwork! Did Cade just say that they had excellent teamwork? Saul could not help but smirk at this compliment. What a huge improvement on his part, he'll have to owl Vance about this later for sure! Ooooooh he'll be so proud. He didn't say anything though, he just smiled.
What they had going sounded like the plan to go with, which meant it was time for action. It wasn't quite what he wanted, Cade putting herself as the distraction rather than him. It was better than nothing and with the invisibility and muggle repelling charm around him, he wouldn't have to use wandless magic. Meaning his Confundus will be more effective. "Got it!" Saul spoke in an enthusiastic whisper.

This Looney Wizard was also getting on his nerves now, almost ruining the good mood that Cade just put him in! He was getting overly anxious now to take this guy down and help the poor muggles this man put through hell. He unknowingly grasped his glasses from his coat pocket, and placed them back on his face

"I'm sure it goes without saying, but try to get him before I get a full wand blast from a very cranky old man," Cade muttered with a wry sort of grin before she pushed her way out into the street. The plan was very simple, actually... she'd just get close to Mr. Man and annoy him until his attention was taken from the Muggle and was focused wholly on her.
Easy, right?
"Hey. HEY." She stepped over the Muggle, giving him a quick checkover for any major injuries before moving on. He seemed well enough, all things considered. "HEY YOU. Why don't you pick on someone your own size?" Well, did she really just say that? Was today 'take your favorite cliche to work' day or something?

Jade watched Cade walk towards the wizard, trying to draw his attention. *Here goes nothing* she thought to herself. She nodded to Saul trusting that he would do the confundus charm as she focused getting to the nearest muggles and obliviating them. She got to the first one--a woman who was standing watching the two wizards curiously and quietly uttered
"Obliviate!"
The woman's eyes went blank. Not sure what to do with her now, Jade quickly instructed her to write down her details before sending her back to her office building. The less muggles around were better in her opinion and besides with the details, they would be able to check on her later.
Right now though-- there was a loony wizard to take care of.
Jade continued Obliviating the remaining curious muggles before reaching the muggle man who had been the wizard's plaything. She took a quick look towards Cade and the Wizard. Cade and Saul's magic were doing a fine job of distracting him that he didn't notice Jade.
Jade took a look at the muggle man. He did seem to be doing okay considering the circumstances. She quickly obliviated him too and gently levitated him to the side so that he would be out of the way. She made a mental note to call the muggle medics to come and look after him.
Looking around she didn't see any muggles nearby, some were coming close but then changed their direction and went somewhere else.
That was good since now they had to just deal with the Loony Wizard as she crept up closer to him and Cade, preparing to use her magic on the Wizard.
FERGUS
He was so hungry. The thought that he was about to eat a delicious meal made him grasp the door handle of the cafe much more tightly. Fergus was about to turn it and step inside before he realized that someone was yelling and apparently they were yelling at him.
He swiftly turned around and faced a blue-eyed blonde woman who was taller than him.
"What do you want?" Fergus tried to sneer but it came out more like a wheeze. He considered himself to be superior to muggles, especially the women.
The woman started talking but Fergus didn't pay attention to what she was saying since he was more focused on what she held in her hand- a wand.
Immediately, he tried to apparate away but found that he couldn't.

Saul was laying in wait until it was turn to get up and move into action. He thought again about whether or not his wand would give himself away to quickly and elected to keep it hidden on his person in case things went to Hell with the man. He swiped his wand from it's holster, and slipped it into his jacket sleeve in case of emergency. He waited until Jade managed to obliviate the muggles and move them on their way and saw Cade reach the Loony Wizard.
Crouching from his spot Saul hurried his way around the sidewalk and passed by Jade who finished obliviating the poor sod who was tossed around in the air. Lifting himself up Saul made his way to Cade's position, and pretending to try and slip past the man into the restaurant. "Confundus" Saul muttered under his breath and went into the Restaurant.
He would wait only a moment to see if Cade could subdue him.
Made of Awesome | Ern-la the Best-wa | TZ's Apogee
The moment Saul cast the Confundus on Fergus, Cade turned her body and lifted her wand to cast the perimeter charms that would hide their activities from any curious Muggle onlookers. In fact, if she was doing it right, the Muggles outside the perimeter would start remembering pressing engagements elsewhere, and the block should clear very quickly.
It appeared to be working, judging by the speed with which Jade moved through the Muggles inside the perimeter, adjusting their memories and sending them on with a fading perplexed look.
Fergus, meanwhile, stood there staring into space, and Cade wondered why Saul had wandered into the cafe rather than staying to contain Fergus. Oh! They'd never clarified who was to do that job. Perhaps he thought Cade would do it, while she assumed he would. Her wand was occupied by trying to maintain a perimeter with a shifting population. Hopefully, Saul would realize the job fell to him and would re-emerge.
Mom says I have no sense of direction, so I packed my bags and right.
Ooooookay, Saul watched from the otherside as the door as Cade proceeded to cast other charms on in the surrounding area that turned other Muggles away.
Why wasn't she aprehending the guy, wasn't she the one to confront him while Saul did his handy non-verbal spellwork? Jade wasn't going to do the arresting, so after about only ten second Saul hopped back outside hastily and barked "Expelliarmus!" Knocking the Looney Wizard's wand out of his grasp, and threw him down on the side walk. Without any more hesitation, not even a glance back at Cade Saul pounced onto the man flipping him onto his back and casting "Incarcerous." Ropes tied themselves tightly around the mans arms and Saul placed a knee over the Looney Wizard's back. "You are under arrest for risking the secrecy of the wizarding world, harming muggle bystanders, andaccording to Cade dressing funny. You do not have to say anything but it may harm your defense if you do not mention, when questioned something which you may later rely on in court anything you do say may be given in evidence, do you understand?"
...Wow, this was his first arrest, ever. He never had this chance in Andorra. He wasn't even sure he said the right thing. That's what the Muggle Police said around these parts, so he just went with that. He looked over to Cade now unsure with what the next step was.

Jade took a step back, watching her two partners deal with the loony wizard. Thank god that it was finally over. She looked in front her and saw that there were some curious muggles in the cafe watching them despite the spells that Cade had cast before. Jade took her wand and waved it, reinforcing the spell. It would not do to have a full-blown incident on their hands.
Turning back to Cade and Saul, she said, "Great teamwork, you guys! You headed back to the MLE now?"
FERGUS
They had him cornered but he was not going to go down with a fight, Fergus decided coming out of his frozen state. It was too late since next minute he knew he was being tackled to the ground by a wizard.
The wizard said something but Fergus heard nothing-- he couldn't believe that he had gotten caught!
As the wizard put his knee into Fergus' back, Fergus grunted, "Yer hurting me! Stop!!"

"Good grab," Cade lowered her wand and scurried over to help Saul drag Fergus back to his feet. This had gone rather more smoothly than Cade would have anticipated, and she was relieved that it all seemed to be coming to an end. A non-dramatic end.
"I think our next step is to take our friend in and lock him up in the holding cells. I don't know if Jade needs to have her team finish up out here with the Muggles, or if she feels she sufficiently handled things, but it's time to turn our man here over to the justice system." For better or for worse, Fergus needed to pay for his actions.

Jade nodded at the two, "Yes, I'll stay here to help my team. I really enjoyed working with both of you. We made a good team didn't we?" She glanced towards the cafe as she heard her name being called. "I have got to go and help. Again, it was great working with you." She headed off in the direction of her team.
FERGUS
He was caught and he couldn't believe it. Now he was going to spend time in the MLE holding cell which wasn't the best...but on second thought, it would be a warm place to stay and sleep for a while. So Fergus wasn't too bothered by the fact that he was being dragged to MLE. But maybe he could do without the rough treatment though.
"Could you ease up on the restraints? They're uncomfortable." He mumbled to the woman who was restraining him.

Saul lifted his knee off the guys back and with Cades help puled the guy up off the ground. He gave full control of him to Cade and holstered his wand "Thanks." Saul said to Cade, he couldn't stop thinking about how this was his first official arrest, it was a good one too. If you ignored the slight mix-up of who was supposed to detain the looney wizard.
This guy wasn't going to keep his mouth shut either. Of course his retraints were tight. They guy just threw a muggle around in the air with no care in the world. No chance were they going to loosen up. In Fact they could be tighter.
"It was great working with you to Jade, I'll see you around the Ministry then." She was a tolerable woman, Saul could deal with her company if she ever wanted to hang out. "Off to the Holding Cells for you." Saul snapped back to the man. Hopefully they could find him a very unpleasent and cold corner somewhere for him to cradle in.
