Okay. Gabriel was speaking to him and Lights, remained them not to be transfigure as their own animagus form. What a bad impression, Adler!
Then they would had a patrol. Adler and Richard would be in Blaise team. Question?
"Actually." He raised his hand. "What will we do if we found something.. strange, unusual and suspicious?" asked him.

Adler entered the security office with cool face. Actually he was still confused to decide which one did he choose. Still being a security officer or continue his study in Russia. He saw two ladies were there, Lights and the other who was not known. He found Lights was asleep.
"EHEM.." He cleared his throat. Hope she would be awake. Falling asleep in work-hours? Not good.
Another women was shouting that she was engaged. Althought he didn't know the woman, he complimented her.
"Congratulations, young Lady." said him in cool smile.
She smiled cheerfully at him, "vell sank you, I is aleka thanos, I do not know vhere to go, as I am new, so do you know vhere a secoocoority officer-r goes?" she flinched a little at her English, and that accent she was dying to lose but smiled somewhat painfully anyways, hoping he didn't think she was a freak!

Praise the gods!
He wasn't with Lights! But unfortunatly he was with Adler, whom he found incredibly annoying and disobedient, in need of some discipline. Richard listened intently to everything Gabriel said and looking over at Blaise when directed. He walked up closer to Gabriel and nodded. "Just one sir" he said taking a long pause. "I'm sure you're probably aware that there is a protest taking place, with the intent of getting rid of Lord Borr" he scowled at the thought of Borr running the ministry for another year. "Are we supposed to do anything about that?" He asked politely.

Lights woke up to a throat being cleared. She raised her head groggily, thinking it was Bellissa or Ezekiel coming to tell her they couldn't sleep for the upteenth time. Instead she found she was in work. Great Merlin, she'd fallen asleep in work! Lights straightened up, rubbing her hair, and saw Adler and a woman she didn't recognise. She smiled tiredly. "Thanks for waking me. I've been up all night, my kids wouldn't sleep!"
She sighed, and then fixed her gaze on the new woman, smiling brightly. "Hi, I'm Lights Lennox. Who're you?" she asked curiously.

Lights felt a little disappointed that she'd be the only newbie with Gabriel - he was nice and all, but still. And why did she get the feeling everyone thought her too childish to handle herself? She had two kids at home, and she was perfectly responsible with them. If only she could show them that ... But Lights just shrugged it off and smiled. "Sounds great." At least I'm not with Richard, she thought with relief. Adler was cool, and both Gabriel and Blaise seemed to come under the heading 'nice but stern', but Richard was no fun at all. And Lights was still pondering on how to get him to laugh ... She had a feeling her original pink feather idea wouldn't work.

Oh Merlin, no. Lights pictured having to arrest somebody - or worse, having to arrest her husband. Ethan was still protesting, and although Lights had been inclined to join him, thoughts of losing her job had prevented her from doing anything but make a sign and placing it near the protest. She bit her lip nervously.

That was a very good question, young grasshopper. One with a simple answer. "You send a patronus to me immediately, letting me know where you are and what the trouble is. Then, if needs be, trail whoever you think is suspicious - or generally keep an on them....or it...until I arrive." Gabriel nodded his head in Adler's direction. He appreciated that question.

Ah yes. The picket line. Gabriel had made his way through it once - and resolved to take the floo thereafter. Unfortunately they did have to keep an eye on it. "Yes, I'm certainly aware of it, Richard," he sighed, walking across the room and folding his arms. Looking through the window and down at the atrium, he narrowed his eyes, before turning back to the group.
"As well meaning as they are - something like that isn't going to work with that man. Not when he has the Cult behind him acting as puppet master. Mr Bole has other plans, I believe, for our department, so please don't go joining in with the protest. We need to keep an eye on them, yes, but just to make sure they don't get out of hand." And come inside the Ministry. That would be very bad. And more work for them.

Gabriel got the feeling that Lights wasn't too happy about spending the afternoon with him. Not that he could figure out why, as far as he was aware he tried to be pleasant at all times. Maybe it was because he snapped at them earlier. Either way, her 'sounds great' response didn't come across with any cheery feeling. He gave her a nod and smile back.
"Right then, if we're all ready. We can go by way of the lifts - it's better for showing you around."

Lights listen to Gabriel's answers to Adler and Richard's questions, because those were pretty important. She wondered if, in the event of having to trail someone, she would be allowed to transform. Probably not. And it kind of sucked that she couldn't join the picket line again, or that Gabriel didn't think it was going to help. And there was the Cult cropping up again ... Lights still wasn't totally sure what they were all about. Maybe she could ask Gabriel for a clarification without the others hearing. She really didn't need more disapproval from Richard, or Blaise, or Gabriel himself. She could almost hear their thoughts if she posed the question; Poor little girl, still a child, doesn't even know what the Cult is. Lights bristled inside. No, she wasn't going to ask about it. She'd find out herself, and save humiliation.
Lights smiled brightly. "Okay." She was ready for anything.

A silvery smoke-shaped Eagle was entered the Security office, then Adler's voice was hears. He said
"EMERGENCY!! WE NEED MORE OFFICER TO REACH THE FOUNTAIN. GINA LATORTA AND THE OTHER EMPLOYEES WHO WAS JOIN THE PROTEST HAD ALREADY REACH THE FOUNTAIN!!! WE ALSO NEED PEOPLE TO SECURE THE PICKET LINE!!!"
Then it was dissapeared

A silvery medium-sized labrador dog glided through the air into the Office. It sniffed the air and opened its mouth, speaking in Lights' Welsh-accented voice. "Backup needed outside. Protesters getting bad. We need people out here to make sure nobody else gets in."
For once Lights' tone wasn't cheerful or even remotely happy; it was calm and icy. The labrador barked once as if to say get on with it, people, and then it disintegrated into the air.

Adler was not sure he could do this. Actually he loved his job as a ministry officer, BUT...
I've already decide it. He walked to the Security Office. There was nobody there. Hmm... He need to meet Gabriel.
He just put an envelope on Gabriel's table. His letter of resignation.
SPOILER!!: Letter of Resignation
Dear Mr. Gabriel Vartann
I've experienced many things here for almost a year. It's very hard to leave my job actually, but I've accepted in Russian Academy and I decided to continue my study there.
Thank You for almost a year
Sincerely
Adler Charlotte
Yes.. Adler wanted to resign. After he had letter of acceptance from Russian Intelligent Wizardry Academy, he decided to continue his study in Russia.
Good Bye.. Ministry Security. He walked away from Security office.

Leading the way, Evander arrived to the Security office, and went to the nearest portrait of a former Security department head and asked for updates. The portrait figure growled and went off hunting.
Immediately after that Van took up a position by the window, looking over the atrium and watching people rush off in various directions. The best thing about being up there was that you could see out, but people couldn't see in.

By the time Sabel drew into the Security Office behind Evander, he was already feeling out of breath. He was fairly certain it wasn't from the fast pace they had taken to; even though there weren't seven flights of stairs to run up and down in the ministry, he had become so accustomed to doing so at Hogwarts that he had made it part of his daily routine every morning. So physical stress was not something that was factoring in. Emotional and mental however, were another story.
That, and the tension that had gripped his entire body. At least he hadn't dropped his wand....yet.
Drawing just inside the door, Sabel stood to the side. If anyone tried to follow them in, he could stun them, or trip them. Anyone besides Gabe of course. After all, Evander had brought him along to watch his back, right?
His eyes chanced a glance at the Department Head, curious as to what their next move would be, straining to hear the next order. It had been some time since he had been so devotedly attentive.

Gabriel had followed behind Sabel and Van. He thought it better to have one experienced team member up front and one behind, just in case. He'd been shiftily watching everyone as they made their way up to the Security Office. Everyone was off on their own assignment, which made the Atrium all the more busy.
Giving the young YATI a nod as he entered, Gabriel closed the door behind them and walked over to the window, wand in hand. He noticed something on his desk as he passed and leant to pick it up. Upon opening it, he saw it was a resignation letter from Adler. Sighing, he folded it up and tucked it into his waistcoat pocket. That was something to be sorted after all this mess.
SPOILER!!: The letter...which I missed before. *hides*

Good Bye.. Ministry Security. He walked away from Security office.
For now his attention, and that of the other two men in the room, was focussed on the melee below. Taking a quick glance at the empty picture frame, Gabe moved his eyes back to Van. "So what's our first move?" he asked, gripping his wand even tighter so his knuckles went white. After observing, of course.

"With Gevrik, we can't just blast in there, wherever he is." Evander answered quietly. "We have to do things with a little more... finesse." His eyes were still searching the Atrium as it cleared out below.
"... but the blasting, I hope, will come later." He added with a touch of satisfaction. Finally. FINALLY he could act. "Gevrik is a man who likes to watch the world fall apart. He'll be close to the action, I'm sure of that much."
Which meant disillusionment, most likely. Unless Evander's usual paranoia was making him overcautious. No. He trusted his instincts. Had to after years spent undercover.
He spent several long minutes watching. ...There. What was that? His eyes zeroed in on a flicker. The kind of flicker that came from a disillusionment charm readjusting itself to its surroundings. Van tensed up, still watching.
"Perhaps I'm just being paranoid," He began conversationally, "But I think perhaps there are a few gentleman," At least one of them, chances it was Recard who had the flicker, "below in the Atrium proper, who we should really go and visit." There.
Another flicker.
"Sabel, take a look. See if you can notice what I'm noticing." He gestured at the boy. Well, might as well learn, right? "I'm suspicious that may be Recard down there. I doubt he has the smarts to have chosen to disillusion himself without a certain influence either." And if they were both down there... and it wasn't simply paranoia, then that meant they were waiting for something. Perhaps other cultists?
There. Again.
Now he was certain of it. That flickering glimmer had been almost.... Armen Recard shaped, wouldn't one say? Paranoid!Evander would.

Finesse. Yes, absolutely. Better to go in with the element of surprise than charge in and give the game away. Especially with sneaky blokes like Gevrik - and sheep-like Recard.
Gabriel nodded his understanding and turned his attention back out the window. It was a little more empty now, down in the atrium, all the MLE had gone off to the particular levels in search of their own piece of the action, and their own Cult members.
His stare became more intense upon mention of people they should go and see. Focussing his gaze on the area Van was looking, Gabe moved his head around to see if different angles would help to spot what his boss had. And he thought at one point he could.
Stepping to the side slightly, to give Sabel room to come and look, Gabriel narrowed his eyes at the spot where Recard could be standing. "I doubt he'd be smart enough to do anything of his own accord. Certainly not think on his feet." Which would mean that, yes, Gevrik was most likely there too.
As Gabriel stepped through the door, Sabel made sure to shut it tight behind him. The last thing they needed was to be cornered with their backs vulnerable. Although....that was sort of inevitable given that they had placed themselves in a room. At least it had a window, right?
His eyes flicked between the two men discussing their course of action as his fingers fiddled with the ring on his opposite hand. All the talk about finese and careful planning was starting to twist his gut into high anticipation, and the ring seemed to be the only thing that would give it any release.
That was until Evander started getting excited about something. Then nothing seemed to help, especially not with Gabriel seeming to notice it as well. He was hesitant at first to move up to the space the Auror's had made for him, but upon remembering that there was no time for such resistances he picked up his pace and made it to the window. His eyes flickered all over the Atrium floor, straining at the spot where both Evander and Gabriel seemed to be focused. He couldn't see anything? Why couldn't he see---
His heart nearly crashed into his throat. Either his fears, anxiousness and nervousness were being woven into misconceptions by the possible paranoia of his leaders or he was actually seeing what they were. A flicker. Of something. It looked like...he actually didn't know what it looked like. The ghost of a reflection, maybe? It could have been anything: those floors were so polished they practically were mirrors. Biting his lip, his fingers gripped the ring a little tighter. "I think...I see it." That or they were all going bonkers.
His eyes flicked to Gabriel and then Evander. "They wouldn't do that on purpose, would they?" It didn't seem practical to let one man charm himself with a disillusionment spell if he wasn't any good at it and the other, by apparent notice of only one flicker, was highly good at it. Then again, Evander had asked him how his disillusionment practice was, so maybe he was completely wrong. And neither men seemed very intent on given Recard much credit.
Either way the question remained, what were they going to do now? Given however, that seemed to be the regular question of the day, Sabel opted not to voice it. If possible, he wanted to do as little talking as possible. That, seemed to get him in the least amount of trouble.

"We have to move before they bring in reinforcements." If they were there. SOMEONE was there, it was only deduction and intuition that led Van to believe it was who they were after.

He nodded and reminded himself to provide a bit of practice for the YATI group in spotting disillusionment flaws later.
"Gevrik could be aware of it, if he's there, knowing that if they're observed -and you can bet if Gevrik is there he knows someone is watching- he might be luring us." Evander responded quietly, eyes still searching the Atrium below in the same way you looked for hidden pictures in those weird colour pattern magic picture book things.
"We need to move. Sabel when we get down there, I want you to use Homenum Revelio to confirm how many we're dealing with and where they are. You need to be ready to move, to step in at any moment if Gabe or myself fall, and more importantly to send off a Patronus if we do. Damien, Wes, Dorian, Izzy, Dacs. Any of them you, understand?" Not that he thought himself or Gabe likely to fail.... but you had to be sure of a back up plan if the worst happened. "And for Circe's sake keep yourself shielded."
Speaking of Patronuses and back up, Van played one of the cards he'd kept hidden in his hand and sent his Mountain Lion Patronus off to a hidden ally and then turned his attention to Gabriel.
"Are you ready, Gabe? You get Recard." He added that last part generously. Probably there'd be some crossfire down there, it'd really be their side against the cult, but it was good to know when someone else would be around to focus on one of the opponents so you could focus on the other with less need to watch your back.
He straightened and pulled his wand, then headed to the stairs. It was go time.

Shaking his head a little, Sabel tried to clear it of the worry that had already tangled his gut into several unhelpful knots. He had to trust that Evander knew what they were doing; that they weren't charging into a fray out of eagerness. Part of it sounded like they were, but he opted to attribute that to the adrenaline that was most likely - as it was for him - pumping through all their veins.
A slow breath was released as he listened to Evander's orders, nodding each time they clicked into place in his mind. It seemed he was to be their back-up, and while he had a particular yearning to face Gevrik, he wasn't fool enough to think that he could handle the man. He had some pride, but he preferred his limbs intact with the rest of his body.
When Evander started off, he was slow to follow. It took a good deal of coaxing to get his legs functioning properly and to attempt to tame his heartbeat. Another glance at where Evander had seen the shimmer, a last twist to his ring and a mental repeat of his orders were required before he could convince himself to move.
He followed close to Evander, not sure if the man wanted him disillusioning himself yet or not. He attempted a try, watching as his hand flickered to transparency before materializing again and then fading. Clearly his nerves had a good hold on how well he could cast. A second try had the spell a little more solid, but still wavering with the same apprehension that had claimed his body. Would he be able to hold the Disillusionment, Shield and detection spell all at once? Not that he could really consider 'ifs' and 'maybes' now; he would either be able to, or not. Anything in between didn't matter. Wouldn't matter.
He let the spell fall for the moment on grounds of conserving his attention and energy. It was more important to figure out who was where they were going and where they were than it was to be the 'hidden' back-up. He was fairly certain Ikenna would be able to see right through his disillusionment spell anyways, what with bearing the name of 'The Ghost'.

Gabriel didn't need to say much. Van did all the talking, and he and Sabel did all the listening. But he was keeping eye contact with his boss as he spoke, nodding his head to everything being said. Maybe Gevrik did know they were being watched, but all this had to be done - Gabe understood that. But the possibility of them getting hurt did make his thoughts flicker to Fliss for just a moment. He'd not told her the full extent of what the MLE would be doing, and he dearly hoped she wouldn't have to be told he'd been injured.
But Sabel was trustworthy, and willing and eager. And most importantly competent. He had no qualms about the boy being their on site backup. Giving him a reassuring nod, Gabe turned his attentions back to Evander. His hand clutched his wand ever tighter, and a steely look formed in his eyes. He'd get Recard.
"More than ready, boss."
He followed Van out the room, taking a few glances at Sabel as he went. Practising the Disillusionment charm? Good thinking, boy.

Emily wasn't about to waste more time waiting for people. There was a job to be done, and she was going to do it.
Upon entering the Office, she couldn't help but remember things... memories... of the place. Sigh. They didn't matter anymore.
Wand at the ready, because she was ALWAYS ready, she started working her way along one side of the office space. If there was anything out of place, anything that could help with the investigation, she would find it.

It had been a silent trip from Level Two down to the Atrium. However it was to be expected when those gathered there were being serious about their jobs and Simon was one of them. No letting anyone get under his skin and trick him...he was going to do his best at his job and that was all that mattered.
Following Emily into the security office, his own attention was alert as he scanned the room and its contents. Simon opted to head to the side opposite his more experienced companion, fanning them out to work along the edge and work inward. Or leave space for other investigators who joined them along the way.

Legend was quick to arrive once he got the patronus. It had been easy escorting the woman out of the Ministry. Wand in hand he entered the office and made his way over to Emily "Any instructions?" His voice was low, only because it seemed oddly quiet and not at all like he should be speaking anyways.

Good, brownie point for YATI for not asking questions, making a mess or pestering her. If he kept it up, he'd be fine.

After scanning an itinerary of sorts and some careless scrawls of observation, from a security personnel no doubt, she raised her gaze to meet Chosen. That was quick, this pleased her, of course. "We're looking for anything which indicates 'new' things, people, packages, food.. entering the Ministry before the out break." So... go nuts.
"We'll start here, then work our way to the check point... have another look at the food court."
If there was anything left behind, and clues... and possibilities... they'd find it.
And where the the dude whose idea this was? Dragging his feet no doubt.
OOC: So sorry I am late all of you, new daily schedule and all, trying to get used to it all. But we are here now, lets get this party search started

Tyler found the security office, hmm he hadnt been here before.. cause there had been no need for it before. He entered just as Emily was telling them what they needed to do, sounded good to him. "OK thats cool, I will start this side then" he said and walked over a little ways away from Emily and started looking through pages and pages of parchments that had been written by security, recording alot of things. So far he was coming up with nothing, but he was determined to find something, cause afterall they needed to find out who or what was responsible for this. As Law Enforcement officers it was upto them to conduct the search and investigation as well as catch the ones that did this. He didnt want to be laughed at, he didnt want people saying that MLE couldnt do their job. He read and re-read a few parchments, but came up blank there was not much here. He looked up at the others "Anyone find anything yet?" he asked before going back to searching through his section to see if he could find anything, if anything at all that is.

Simon remained focused on the task at hand as they were joined by the two others helping in the search. He did however listen as Legend asked for instructions for the answer was important to him as well. Look for anything new to the ministry...yep that made sense. Anything new would have a chance at being the odd sock in the equation and the possible source of whatever it was that was the initial source of the illness. The YATI continued his slow and careful progression along his side of the office. Finally spotting something on top of a desk that looked like it could lead to something.
"How about these?" Simon asked, holding up a file of records in his hand. They looked like mentions of wands being weighed by the security officers on duty. Something that looked familiar since his stint as a wand-weigher during the ministry grand re-opening.

Oh wouldya lookit that. He was here. Finally.
Emily nodded, by way of greeting... at least he was good at following instructions. Yeah.
"Not yet..." she mused, before continuing her search.

These? What these?
Emily looked up, eyebrow arched. Curious she moved over to the YATI's side, taking a look at the file he was holding. "Looks good to me... see if there's anything from around the time of the opening," she approved with a nod. Good YATI. Good.
Returning to her own search, which was fruitless thus far, Emily then turned her attention to one of the cabinets. Shrugging, she went to open it. Huh. Of course it was locked.
Emily was no expert on security, but she had a feeling they'd find some pensieves in here somewhere. And she'd bet her lucky undies they were in this cabinet. Mmhhmm.
