Mizuki smiled. "That would be me Mrs. Latorta-san." respectfully She bowed to her boss.

Sarah took at seat in the seating area outside the head of the departments office. This is was first day and wanted to meet with the department head to get her assignments and such. She waited patiently in the room. She hoped that she would make a good first impression on, her head of department.

Matthew took a seat outside his new boss's office, thinking how much his life had changed in the past few weeks. His divorce was finalized, leaving ugly scars behind, his father died, he inherited part of the man's huge fortune and he moved to Britain, all in such short time. As this was Matt's first day at the British Ministry, he wished to meet his colleagues and superiors, but felt a bit weird. Not overwhelmed, just weird, considering it very awkward to start a new job at the age of forty. Being a newbie at forty. That didn't sound good; it was but another blow to his pride. Plus, he'd be doing something very different from his previous job at the French Ministry. True, maybe a break from codes and symbols in favour of the real world would do him good.

Taking a seat outside Her Department Head's Office , Corrina Thought about Her New Job about How many People She Would Meet . She also Wanted to Meet her Department Head Because ... Well The lady Was The Head Of Department and it wouldn't Be polite To Just Ignore The Woman . So Here She was , Waiting And Having no Idea What to say . She Just sat there Next To A few People and waited .

"Oh My..." Gina said peeking out of the door to her office, "I'm sorry it took so long," she said and then added, "Please come on in, there are cookies for everyone."

Startled Corrina Looked Up , She Heard Her Boss Talking . " Oh No It's Ok ma'am I Know you are very busy . " Corrina Said Polietly . She stood Up , Grabbed her Purse and walked to the door . " Thank you . " She said As the lady asked for Them to come in and Said Something about ... Cookies ?

Sarah's eyes darted to door as it open. "It's okay." There were several of them sitting out there. But Sarah knew that her boss was busy. "I know you are busy." She smiled. Cookies? Did she say cookies? Oh boy Sarah knew that she was already going to like her boss. "Thanks!"

Tapping on the door, Gavin remained standing. He first and foremost concerned for his department head. He'd not seen or heard from her since the strike, and his concern was growing. Having Katrina there with him to discuss with Gina the issue that had popped up in France was a good reason to check on her. He just hoped she was there.

"Have you seen her around the department?" he asked Katrina turning towards her.

Katrina stood next to Gavin. "No I haven't." she shook her head. Gina hadn't been around at all, at least she didn't think she had. "I haven't seen her, but I wonder if someone else has?" she questioned. She peeked around the corner toward the cubicles and saw a coworker, but that was it. No one else. Where was everyone? "Have you noticed that there are only like three of us here today?"

Gina opened the door and smiled as she saw Gavin and Katrina. "Come in my dears, come in." She said motioning to her employees. "I'm having a little lunch, I'm starving. Would you like a little?" She said pointing where there were extra bowls. "My husband made some Lobster Bisque, which is absolutely divine."

Katrina smiled as Gina greeted them. "That sounds delicious, but we actually just came from lunch." she said. "Your husband made it? Well it has to be good then. Your family has the most excellent chefs." she praised. It was true, Gina always brought in some really great food made either by Gina or her husband. Katrina then walked into the office following Gavin.

Straightening his tie, Rylan entered the waiting room for the Int'l Cooperation office. His nervousness was clearly displayed on his features as he kept fumbling with the piece of parchment in his hand. Check the floo netwerk systems in every location in the Ministry and activate them...that had been his task from his boss. The twenty-six year old had wondered why the floo networks had been shut off but he had accepted the job without questions.

Sitting down on the comfortable couch, he ran a hand through his jet black hair and waited for the department head.

"Come iiiiiiiin" Gina sang from the office.

Collecting his report and even a few pictures he had from their trip to France, Gavin headed directly for Gina's office upon arriving back at the ministry. Knocking he turned and sat on the bench outside, hoping the rest of his team would be joining them shortly. The last call he'd gotten from Pierre had sounded hopeful, about his own team having moved in within hours of receiving the notice from Gavin.

Hopefully all had been accomplished and they'd cracked down on those portkey sales!

Angela hurried, with her papers and files in her hands. She certainly did not want to be late meeting the head lady, especially when this was her first time coming face-to-face with Gina. And she was a bit nervous. Of course, meeting their boss, for the first time would make anyone nervous, right?

Ah! There was Gavin! And no one else yet. That calmed her a bit. Thank Merlins I am not late! she thought to herself.

Smiling at Gavin, she asked him, "Any further news about France?"

Katrina walked up and sat down next to Gavin. Her papers almost fell out of her hands as she did, but she was able to reorder them before they slipped. "Hey there." she said smiling at him. "Hey Angela!" she continued. She wondered where everyone else was....

Gina heard the knock and scuttled to the door. "Come in!"

Looking up as Angela hurried up he gave her a smile, "Good morning." His hands were fidgeting on the paperwork he'd set on his lap, despite his nod at her question "We have, they moved in almost immediately after receiving word from me.

He relaxed slightly as Katrina appeared and sat down next to him. "Hey." he said softly. His eyes flickering down at the ring still on her hand, making his smile grow even more.

He nearly jumped dropping all the papers on the floor that were on his lap when he heard Gina's voice coming from the door. Breathing slowly he rose to his feet. Hoping to spot more of his team, he turned to enter the room.

Angela smiled and nodded at Katrina and Gavin.

Then hearing Gina's voice, she nervously shuffled her papers to make sure tehy were in order and followed Gavin into Gina's office.

Gina's voice echoed in the hallways on level five.

"Attention All International Magical Cooperation employees. Come to the Conference Room and welcome the new employees and enjoy cookies!"

Sophie had just run from the cubicles where many of her co-workers were vomiting. She needed to let Gina know as soon as possible what was happening. So she knocked furiously on the door.

"Come in." She said from inside her office.

Knocking on the door, Gavin had heard that Gina was looking for an employee or two to help out. Having gotten his ordering done and the paperwork completed and was up for some more tasks. Anything especially if it were outside the normal hum drum of the job he did. Filing her paperwork would even be more fun! Turning around he wondered if anyone else had come up to offer assistance as well.

Lola knocked politely on the door, perhaps a little quietly. She had heard something about needing volunteers, and it was about time Lola got round to doing something- right? She took a seat, and looked around. Humming her favourite tune she moticed Gar-no,-Geral-no, Gavin? Oh yes, Gavin. She flashed him a quick smile and asked "You here about the task?"
