Don't feel like quoting ;) Jade was not exactly completely sorry that she had body-binded Isobel. Desperate times demanded desperate measures. And this young hotshot Auror was still way overstepping his boundaries, but they still had a job to do "Alright, alright. I might have used a little excessive force with the body bind. But then in my defense no one told me that they couldn't get out." Turning to Roxanne, she said, "I'm sorry, I'll be quiet." Just in that moment, Jade glanced back at Isobel who still had some shards of memories floating in the air. Jade took one more step closer to her to look at them more closely. "Plants?! What?!" She said out loud. Looking at Isobel, she asked, "Mrs. Ferguson,"--better to use a more formal respectable approach--,"Did you have a salad with leafy greens that day in the cafeteria or something of the sort?" |
Now that the noise had lessened in the room, Roxanne found it easier to think. And remember certain charms. Which she cast at the door. Hearing the door click, she pushed on it and felt it budge a little. She pushed a little harder.....open came the door. "Door's open," she whispered to Josh and Jade, so that the zombies wouldn't hear her. She didn't even flinch at Jade's exclamation of plants, having heard the theory about them. But least she could take some kind of confirmation out of the room with her..... And speaking of out, Roxanne exited the room as quickly as she could, holding it open for the other two while keeping an eye on the other zombies. Yep, no escape for them here.... |

She had what she had come for anyway and her job was done, so she walked to Roxanne and thanked her as she left the quarantine area. |
we...have no idea what is going on..so..*pops* Kensi stared around..what in Merlin's beard...had she really been out of it all this time?! Because literally...she remembered only Wes and his wife...and then..now...poof? All these stupid people... The redhead looked around...her eyes wide. She stood up..."WHAT IS GOING ON?!" she cried, her eyes looking VERY emotional...and stuff...she ran a hand through her red hair and just...stared. She had never felt so lost and confused and upset in all of her life! There was STILL no furniture in here...and Wes looked weird...she blinked a lot of times...her mind going fuzzy...MERLIN! She put a hand on the wall to keep steady, because she felt like she might be sick if she didn't. Well, she felt sick regardless...Gaaaahhh. GAAHHHH. |
Kyleigh looked up at the girl who just spoke and made a little confused face at her. Why was she crying? Did she need a hug? She wouldn't hug her though because she was infected and she didn't know if the other girl was and she didn't know if it'd pass. SO she just stared at her. "Okay?" She asked only one word hoping the girl would understand the concern that was behind that word. "Door opened...escape...now closed...no escape" There thats the best her exhausted brain could from. THEY had had a chance to escape and then it was gone. "Wands" she nodded pointing to Jade and Josh in turn. They could team up and eat peoples wands no? Steal them from holsters and munch on them and feel more magical. |
somebody, please cast Finite toward him? He's still frozen =D Dimitri didn't have any idea what's going on. All that he remembered was.. he absent-mindedly snuck out to the MLE conference room and suddenly one of them cast the frozen charm to him. Even he was frozen, but the skinny guy was still consious. he DID know that two of MLE people were brought him here, to the Quarantine cell. Wait... what's on earth people brought him here? Then.. He guessed that those people missed something... OI! SOMEBODY PLEASE UNFROZEN HIM! DIMITRI BURTON WAS STILL FROZEN! |
*has totally not forgotten about this* ..*whistles about* Day 3? or 10? Or..why was eh even counting? The Frenchie had given up on this on the first day. All he had done ever since then was eat any thing that looked edible, stared at the people that joined him in this silly cell and said things that should not have been heard as to what he thought of the British Ministry of Magic. It wasn't his ideal sort of thing to do. He would have much rather been at home recovering from whatever this thing was than here. Tired was an understatement to what he felt which was why he barely had his eyes open as he lay across the floor. Did he care that he was lying on the floor? No..well maybe, because the Le King usually would care. He was too tired today though and even the thought of him being respected was off his mind. These British people clearly didn't have the word respect in their dictionary and the French man wanted to teach them about it some time soon. Just not now..he was ... *SNOOOOOREEEE* .... Sleeping. |
Rupert sat down in one of the folding chairs, feeling confused. He glanced around the room and sighed, letting his head fall back and rest on the chair. His eyes slowly closed shut. What in the world had been going on...why had he...eaten those wands?!?! This was nuts. And embarrassing. Why couldn't he just be at home...anywhere but here... |
I'll do it ;) Quote:
She approached him carefully and was grateful for her limited ability in wandless magic-- she wasn't about to use her wand here. She said, "Finite!" and focused her magic towards him. He flashed once so she knew that he had been hit with her magic. |
Demetrius had no idea why he was standing in a holding cell or why we had the taste of wood in his mouth. It was pretty bad taste to be honest. He could not even remember the last time he was home. He looks around and sees other people and wonders why they are here. Well this is certainly a mystery. The only thing that really bothered Demetrius was why was he not sitting down relaxing and why were there chewed wands all by his feet. He would not have eaten them because that would be weird. |
Walking with urgency, Aron entered the Quarantine Room with the cooler hanging over his left shoulder. He felt as though this were the sort of situation where one should strike some sort of attention seeking pose and make a dramatic declaration about a cure being found...but he was in no mood for that. He just wanted this mess over so he could officially hang up his drool collecting coat. So, instead, he just walked in, adjusted the cooler so it was against his chest and easily accessible to open - revealing the vials of the cure AND his wand juice. "Who wants to be cured first?" he asked, lifting up one of the vials. |

But luckily, there's a kind Quote:
Who wants to be cured first? WAIT! Well, who doesn't want to be cured? Dimitri WANTS it! He's tired to act weird like this and he'd like to be back to be normal again. "ME! ME! GIVE IT TO ME!" The skinny guy shouted to that man. Just give that bloody potions to me, NOW! |
CURE? No more wood? Kyleigh frowned at the idea of no longer eating wood as wood had become well a staple of her cravings. She didn't really feel well though - the drooling was troublesome and she didn't know what would happen when she was 'cured'. If this cure would make her who she was before - or leave her changed forever. Maybe she would forever have to deal with the craving - the need, the want for wood flavors in her foods? Like applewood smoked meats? But she had previously been vegetarian for quite some time. Even more so when her diet consisted of wood and wooden household objects she hadn't wanted for anything else. Maybe now there would be something different. A clear mind for instance. She wanted to be more clawish. Smarter. And brighter. Ravenclaw. Cure made her more Ravenclaw. "A Cure? Please cure me! Please!" |

Armed with vials of the cure, Jade started to hand them out to a few of the infected. She thought that they must be so relieved to have a cure and be able to get out of this place. |
Kyleigh took the vial of the cure in her hand as Jade handed them out. The first thing she did was tip it to the light and look at it. The second thing she did was bring it right under her nose like a fine glass of wine and inhale. Nope. That thing was not going in her mouth. It smelled awful. She simply took the vial and put it back into Jade's hand rather and stubbornly sat down. "Bad smelling cure" she muttered. |

She really hated being stern about this but she had no choice in the matter. |
*throws cures at everyone since Ministry is closing soooon* Quote:
Aron reached into the cooler and grabbed a vial of the cure Elinor and Derek had managed to quite literally throw together and handed it to the man. "Here, drink this and this," he said while also offering a small vial of wand wood juice. Was the latter really necessary? Probably not, but why waste something so nutritious? Quote:
Especially that one that was proving to be a real honking daffodil about taste. "Here, drink this after," he said, shoving a vial of wand wood juice towards her. "Cleanse the pallet." Maybe. Walking around, Aron helped Jade hand out vials of the cure to the other droolers. Could he officially hang up his drool and vomit collecting coat now, please? |
trying to get in another post before MoM closes :) Quote:
She really felt like she could use a vacation after this... |
Isobel had recovered from her little trying to escape moment. Although she had a little bruise on the side of her head from her body binding moment. Though she couldn't quite remember how that bruise had gotten there. Maybe Wes would have more of an idea, though she wasn't too sure where her husband was right now. Such a good husband he was apparently. She glanced up as someone wandered in. Well a few someones. Wait. A cure? A cure. That was good. A cure! She'd be able to go see her babies. She was tempted to push her way through to the front. But then decided they'd give cures out to everyone anyway. She smiled at the nice man who gave her the cure. Did he work for Wes? He looked kind of familiar. Hmm. This cure smelt nasty. But Iz knew it was going to do good. Frowning, she drank the thing, pulling a face. "Ugh...that stuff is nasty." She frowned, shaking her head. That stuff better have worked. |
Can't leave. She wanted to leave - so yeah. The next thing she did of course was grab the cure back. Yeah she wanted to be cured. And she wanted to be able to leave - showers, bathtubs and her apartment sounded like a really good idea. "Fine" she muttered and took the cure in hand again. Pulling a face she unstopped the end and tipping it into her mouth she drank it down. Good grief - that tasted really disgusting. "Nasty" she groaned and wrinkled her nose. |
Just a little delayed There was a cure? About time. It wasn't exactly enjoyable eating wands and drooling and being all pale like. What with already being pale it hadn't done much for his complexion. "Thank-you," Skander said, as politely as he possibly could, before grabbing the vial and downing the horrible stuff inside it. He gagged slightly at the taste and wondered for the millionth time why the could never get potions to taste any good before focusing in on the more important issue. He was no longer a zombie. He could leave this stupid place and get back to work. |
