His eyes widened at her request but he just nodded "If you wish." Laughing at her pleading look "I promise I'll just say I haven't seen you in the work areas." HAH that would just say he'd not seen her in there, not a lie really she'd been in the office not work areas. "Your secrets safe with me."

Elizabeth laughed and smiled, "You are amazing, Gavin." She came over to him and hugged him, kissing his cheek as a friend. "Thank you... I mean I will tell him after he cant do anything about it." Eliza laughed.

Laughing with her he returned the hug again "Just take care of yourself, we already got 2 employees down with this whatever it is. And Kat's out most of the time now. So you get better so you can give us a hand." he said winking at her "And thank you for the cookies, they're sweet."

Eliza giggled and smiled at him, "Okay, will try." She coughed again and finally wrapped her cloak around her a little tighter finally. "I just need to do sometime. I am going crazy." Elizabeth laughed.

Elizabeth knocked on Gavin's door. She had a question about something she had read downstairs in the law book. Eliza was so focus that she had thrown away a grilled cheese without even taking a bite of it.

"Come on in." he called out. He was still amused at what had happened down in the food court. He couldn't wait for Kat to hear that one. He was just in a mischievous mood now, and couldn't toss it off. He was looking forward to taking his little brother in law out to kick the football around a bit to get ready for next weeks game.

Sitting back in his chair he waited til whoever it was entered the office.

Elizabeth came into the office, "Hey, Gavin... I was just reading and I came across something confusing... would it be okay if you could try to explain it to me?" She gave him a smile that said 'please please please' while holding up the book to show him what one it was. It was an African law book.

Andrew didn't have a time to meet his new boss at the new year's bash. Because he was too enjoying it (and also the Board of Governors candidate debate) and beside that, he just knew that his new boss was one of the candidate. So, they hadn't met each other until now.

Arriving at level 5, the first thing that he did was meet the boss and get familiar about his assignment of course. He walked to the Department Head's office and knocked it. Just hoped that he was already there.

First full day back and they would finally get to see the new employees. Ugh the last few days had been just confusing and a bit weird. The weirdest was when he'd helped a girl out, then needed to go to Mungo's and found her working there. And like 2 days ago had seen her again and somehow they had clicked.

UGH, how in merlin's name was he supposed to get anything done with her on his mind? He'd just set some folders in the cabinet when he heard a knock on the door. "Come in!" he called out.

He didn't know if the boss was already there or not. But he just waited until someone called him out. Ah, the boss is already coming, he thought.

Andrew walked entering the office after the boss let him in. He watched a man who looked a little bit busy. Well, hopefully he didn't interrupt his boss. "It's very nice to meet you, Mr. Higareda." he said then introduced himself. 'Andrew Jung, the new European Ambassador."

UGH! What had he done that for? He really just couldn't concentrate, not with Piper on his mind. Taking the papers he'd just taken from the cabinet and put back in, he took them back out once again as the door opened and set them on his desk.

"It's a pleasure Andrew, feel free to call me Gavin." he said offering the man a smile and to shake his hand "How are you settling in?"

Shaking his hand, Andrew just smiled when his boss didn't want to be called by his surname. Himself also didn't want to be called Mr. Jung by his colleagues, except in some formal situation. "Gavin, okay." he mentioned the boss' name again to make sure that he didn't mispronounce it, hehe.

How are you settling in? "I'm fine. But still need more adaptation here." What he meant about adaptation is everything. Being an ambassador for Europe was a new thing for him. Beside France, he mostly handled the Asia and Australia zone so Europe was such a new thing for him. Seeing his boss a little bit distracted, he wondered if he bothered him. "Do I interrupt you?" Suddenly he asked. Because if he did bother him, maybe Andrew could be back another time.

Gesturing to a seat in front of his desk, Gavin took his seat as well. Nodding as Andrew spoke, "Definitely. I would have preferred you to take the Asian countries personally but at this time Hong is the ambassador there. It might be opening up at some point and I will be looking towards you to fill that position, if or when it does."

"If there's anything at all I can do to assist you please let me know right away." he said kindly with a smile "Many of our ambassadors are new there are a few that have been here awhile but most of them are new. We are still in need of an Australian ambassador but I'm sure in time that will be filled. At the moment I'm filling that spot. Charles has the Americas, Hong is Asian countries, Elizabeth is African ones, and...Katrina is the ambassador for magical countries." Or was anyway...

Pulling a face he shook his head "No, not at all. Just, having a hard time concentrating on work today, looking forward to a few days off."
