His eyes widened at her request but he just nodded "If you wish." Laughing at her pleading look "I promise I'll just say I haven't seen you in the work areas." HAH that would just say he'd not seen her in there, not a lie really she'd been in the office not work areas. "Your secrets safe with me."

Laughing with her he returned the hug again "Just take care of yourself, we already got 2 employees down with this whatever it is. And Kat's out most of the time now. So you get better so you can give us a hand." he said winking at her "And thank you for the cookies, they're sweet."

"Come on in." he called out. He was still amused at what had happened down in the food court. He couldn't wait for Kat to hear that one. He was just in a mischievous mood now, and couldn't toss it off. He was looking forward to taking his little brother in law out to kick the football around a bit to get ready for next weeks game.

Sitting back in his chair he waited til whoever it was entered the office.

First full day back and they would finally get to see the new employees. Ugh the last few days had been just confusing and a bit weird. The weirdest was when he'd helped a girl out, then needed to go to Mungo's and found her working there. And like 2 days ago had seen her again and somehow they had clicked.

UGH, how in merlin's name was he supposed to get anything done with her on his mind? He'd just set some folders in the cabinet when he heard a knock on the door. "Come in!" he called out.

He didn't know if the boss was already there or not. But he just waited until someone called him out. Ah, the boss is already coming, he thought.

Andrew walked entering the office after the boss let him in. He watched a man who looked a little bit busy. Well, hopefully he didn't interrupt his boss. "It's very nice to meet you, Mr. Higareda." he said then introduced himself. 'Andrew Jung, the new European Ambassador."

UGH! What had he done that for? He really just couldn't concentrate, not with Piper on his mind. Taking the papers he'd just taken from the cabinet and put back in, he took them back out once again as the door opened and set them on his desk.

"It's a pleasure Andrew, feel free to call me Gavin." he said offering the man a smile and to shake his hand "How are you settling in?"

Gesturing to a seat in front of his desk, Gavin took his seat as well. Nodding as Andrew spoke, "Definitely. I would have preferred you to take the Asian countries personally but at this time Hong is the ambassador there. It might be opening up at some point and I will be looking towards you to fill that position, if or when it does."

"If there's anything at all I can do to assist you please let me know right away." he said kindly with a smile "Many of our ambassadors are new there are a few that have been here awhile but most of them are new. We are still in need of an Australian ambassador but I'm sure in time that will be filled. At the moment I'm filling that spot. Charles has the Americas, Hong is Asian countries, Elizabeth is African ones, and...Katrina is the ambassador for magical countries." Or was anyway...

Pulling a face he shook his head "No, not at all. Just, having a hard time concentrating on work today, looking forward to a few days off."
