Tasha stood in the open door way, looking at Armen hugging the minister. "Oh geez" she thought "Erm excuse me.." she said while bowing... she played this all in her head before. "I am here to speak with the minister, to Ap...apologize.." she managed to spit out. |
Melanie stood in the enormous room rather awkwardly as the Armen and the Minister were hugging and a woman that seemed to be stuttering and looking quite frightened at the moment. "Lord Borr, will there be anything else that you would like me to do? If not, I should be on my way to do the other tasks that need looking after in the other departments." Melanie asked rather sweetly, but a tiny bit of annoyance. Since it seemed like the Minister was very busy at the moment, Melanie slipped out of the office and quietly shut the door so to not disturb the other employees. |
"I am the MINISTER OF MAGIC," Lord Borr was shouting at the floor. "I WANT ALL THIS LOLLYGAGGING PUT TO AN END." Level 2, the laziest and most worthless level of the Ministry was housed there. "I WANT THOSE STRIKERS PUT IN AZKABAN." On his desk was paperwork to FIRE that useless OLD WOMAN that had apparently TAKEN A BATH in the Fountain earlier. SHE WAS A DISGRACE AND LORD BORR WOULD NOT HAVE IT! He beat the floor with his cane with a clockwork beat. BAM. BAM. BAM! BAM! BAM! |
With a flick of her Ebony wand the doors to the Ministers office flew open. BAM! Gosh she loved it when that happened. Almost simulataneously she cast, "Expelliarmus!" Yes Borr, we're here FOR YOU. She was ready, she was poised, even if her heart was beating rapidly in her little chest. Make a move Borr and she'd blow your head off. |
Team one/Borr Roxi didn't waste anymore time. After listening for a couple of minutes and determining that Borr was, in fact, the only one in the room, she burst in. "Sorry, Lord Borr you're going down!" she shouted. She started conjuring ropes, tieing the large man to his chair. When she was sure he was secure, she motioned Emily and the rest in. |
Aubrie followed team one into Borr's office. Deciding not to take the fun out of it for them she just pointed her wand at Borr. "So Borr, while you are being held captive here...tell me where is your loyal D'Isigny?" she asked questioningly pointing her wand directly at his big fat head. She really, really, really wanted to torture the information out of Borr but decided to wait for Wes or Izzy's guidance on what to do. She would wait with her wand at his head. Ready for him to 'fess up. |
Skander followed Emily into the Ministers Office on her signal, glad to see that Roxi was already tying Borr up. Ohh this was an historic moment. Eyeing the room and determining that it was indeed safe Skander began to walk around the office, a smirk spreading across his face as he found a stick. Most likely the same stick that Bossman had asked them to hit him with. Picking it up and twirling it for a few moment Skander walked back over to the others. "It would seem that we're all alone in the office, and no-one would notice, or care, if we roughed him up a bit before taking him to the cells." Skander said, eyeing the stick and then Borr significantly. He was sure the others would get what he meant. And really, this would only be justice. Rough justice, but they were told to do whatever they had too. Besides team three needed to know where D'Isigny was and if Borr didn't talk willingly, well... |
Heh. Heh. Wes sure did approve of that lil ol' Creeperdoodle. He refrained from yelling, "Atta girl!" after her and instead just leaned against the Minister's doorway, smirking. Smirk. Smirk. Let the kids handle this over-inflated cockroach. They were doing a good enough job so far. |
Dean appeared from behind them with his wand lowered. He was grinning to see Borr tied up. He went up to Aubrie, tapped her on the shoulder. "Relax," he said before glaring at Borr. "He ain't going anywhere, all right. How's it going, Berty?" spoke Dean sarcastically, trying to provoke the oversized walrus. He didn't even bother to call him by his last name. Glancing at Wes who gave them an approving look, Dean smiled before making his way to Borr, starting his interrogation process. Boy! He had not done this for months! It's good to be able to do it again. Especially when it's on the Minister of Magic. "Before you take him away, Emily, I've a few questions for him," he smiled at the creeperdoodle YATI. Dean lowered his knees slightly so his face was at the same level as Borr's. "You don't happen to know the whereabouts of our friend, D'Isigny, do you, Berty?" asked the former detective sceptically as he looked into Borr's eyes. Too bad he wasn't a Legilimens. |
A dangerous smirk tilted up the corners of Emily's lips. Oh how she just longed to hex the git for everything he'd done over the last couple of years. Idiot. "You annoyed the wrong department Borr, and you are going to pay for that." She stared daggers at him, let the other team interrogate him or whatever, before they moved him to a nice and VERY cosy cell. Provided he fit in one. A nice goo knock over the head to render him unconscious would do the trick, especially with that stupid stick of his. Then they'd move him off. Nodding at Wes and Dean, Emily moved around to stand behind Borr, breathing fire down his neck so to speak. "Fire away." |

Chelsea had been a little late - well not really, she had brought a little camera with her. Smirking as she calmly stepped into the Minister's office, she just laughed upon seeing Borr tied up. Taking out the camera she flicked the trigger. FLASH there that was good. "Aww Bert how's it going - feeling a little bogged down? No...aw or maybe just a little tied up jobs a little much...yeah? Well, you two have fun I've got the wonderous pictures to prove our plunder." She smirked. Looking over to Dean she flashed him a quick smile, "Well, if you need any memories extracted...let me know - its only a wandtip away" she winked at Borr - knowing he knew she was the pensieve examiner. She'd know if the memory was fabricated because she was just that good. |
"I'm pretty sure he'll talk with the correct motivation," Skander told the girl offering to extract memories. Pain was a great motivator after all and even though it might not technically be legal they were kinda the law. Plus, they could always modify the fat lards memory so that he had no idea about what they may, or may not do to him. Borr had very definitely chosen the wrong department to get on the wrong side of. Skander still hadn't forgiven the man for docking peoples pay AND allowing Transportation to take away everyone's apparition license. Oh, he was going to have so much fun if Borr didn't willingly tell them what they wanted to know. And even if he did he was sure people would want a go hitting him with the stick that Skander was currently tapping against his own hand in a slightly threatening manner, while smiling evilly at Borr. |
Sorry, iz too lazy 2 quote… everybody! :) Roxi just stood as everyone started asking Borr questions, her own mouth twisting into a smirk. " Well, are you going to answer their questions or do I have to let Skander here… persuade you?" she asked, standing back in the doorway after having let everyone through. Then she saw a flash. She looked around carefully and saw a girl she recognized from the department. Chelsea… wasn't it? And she was holding a camera. "Please don't take anymore photos," Roxi told her. Because those falling into the wrong would be very bad for them, not to mention it could screw up any case against him. |
Team three mostly (only quoted Wes as Dorian's speaking to him) Quote:
Either way, he wasn't getting within smelling distance of the man, and he questioned Dean's and Aubrie's choice to help in the interrogation. Even if Borr knew where D'Isigny was, it wasn't going to be pleasant to get that information out of him. Besides, Borr was just as much of a puppet as Recard was, which brought him back to his thought. Sidling up to where Wes was leaning against the doorframe of the office, he leaned over so he could speak without Borr hearing. "Gevrik helped Recard escape. Anyone else think he might have something to do with D'Isigny's whereabouts as well? More than Borr does, at least," he said in a low voice, glancing at the action inside the offic e once again as he finished speaking. Gevrik was the Ghost, after all. It wasn't entirely unlikely he wouldn't be responsible for other Cult members' spiriting themselves away. Especially one so high up as D'Isigny. Dean and Aubrie could have a little fun first, though. As long as it didn't help their actual target get further away, while they were here. |
Team 3 Peeps "Not that we don't appreciate your interrogation skills but shouldn't you guys actually be looking for D'Isigny? Because if our esteemed Minister doesn't know where he is then you'll have just wasted your time here. And if he does know then I'm sure we could find out and let you know via Patronus," Skander asked. Because really it was team one's job to find and interrogate Borr, not team three's. And if Borr didn't actually have the information they wanted then team three would just be wasting precious time doing the job of team one. Especially since it seemed obvious that D'Isigny wasn't on this level. He probably wasn't even in the ministry anymore. Skander was surprised that they'd managed to find Borr so quickly actually. Seemed like the fat lump hadn't even attempted to escape. How idiotic could he be? "By the by, no-one would happen to have any veritaserum on them would they?" he thought to ask a few seconds later. Because even if Borr did tell them a place they would need to be sure that he was actually telling the truth, and not just attempting to get them to stop torturing, sorry interrogating, him. |

"You have a point Dorian..." She blonde nodded, stepping closer to the pair, so she could speak quieter. "Gevrik probably knows that we'll come after D'Isigny, so he'd get him out of here. It makes sense." |
SPOILER!!: Chelsea The sudden flashing light almost blinded him. Are the evidence people here already? He glanced over his shoulder when he heard a voice he recognised to see Chelsea standing there with a camera. What a good timing! Dean thought he might have just gotten his spirit boosted up. He smiled at her with a pleasing look. If a pensieve examiner was here, it was bad for Borr. Although, Borr can tamper his memories if they asked him to give it to them. They needed to take it out by force. SPOILER!!: Skander The interrupting voice made Dean looked at the talking man. He nodded. The man had a good point there. Too bad for him and lucky for Borr. Borr won't be hard to interrogate. As long as his ego can easily be bended. But with Emily around, it won't be easy for the giant gumball to hold any informations for long. The YATI had her temper, all right. He checked the pocket of the inner side of the coat. He was sure he had brought Veritaserum along. He always brought at least two, just in case. As he found a tiny vial with tiny label of "Veritaserum" and handed it to the man who spoke earlier. "Here," he smiled before glaring at Borr. "I won't leave just yet though. Need to search for evidences if Martel was ever here. Might even find clues of his whereabouts too, you know," said the patrol officer as he began checking the offices briefly for them. SPOILER!!: Isobel "Nothing of D'Isigny here," sighed Dean, heading towards the door where the superiors are. He overheard Dorian's saying to Wes. The man had it right there. "I think he already escaped. They might leave Borr just so we'd waste our time on him," sneaky indeed, and obvious too. He looked at the three senior MLE'ers waiting for their commands. Checking Sakura's office could be pointless too. He wasn't stupid unlike the man being tied up in his own office. Maybe duct taping Borr was a good idea after all. |
"We are not going to beat him," Cade informed Skander and whoever else calmly from the doorway. There was a difference between Borr's ilk and theirs, and Cade wouldn't let them sink to his level. "Not here and not with his own stick. We fight the monsters... but we don't have to become monsters in the process." "D'Isigny isn't here, and if you think Borr knows or cares, you seriously underestimate his ego and overestimate his intelligence. I suggest we lock down the first floor since it has been searched, move Borr as instructed, and keep looking." |
Emily was still glaring down Borr's back. He wasn't going to let him out of her sight until he was locked up. Because those were orders and that's where he belonged. "Cade's right, you're wasting your time. Borr is just a puppet, I doubt he'd know anything worthwhile." Fat oaf. "Would you now?" she sneered in the fat mans ear. Give her one good reason... and his head would go splat on the walls. But the wasn't THAT much of an idiot. Was he? |

"You are wrong though. About the great differences between them and us. For the righteous can only be so when there is evil to fight and even the evil were righteous once. The only real difference is the side with which we place our allegiance and some of the methods we may use to get that which we desire. For each side believes that what they are doing is for the good of the many. And in this case I do believe the orders were any means necessary. However, beating him with his own stick would bring me great satisfaction I believe in most cases simply threatening to do things is enough to make people give you the answers you want. And if not...well that's what the Veritiserum is for. Also underestimating what Borr may or may not know will do no-one any favours. You should not assume that he knows nothing just because it is clear to everyone that he is merely a puppet. For the puppet may learn much from the puppeteer, more than even the puppeteer may realize has been given. So yes it is a longshot that he knows anything about the whereabouts of D'Isigny but to underestimate him could lead to the missions downfall if there is even a chance that interrogating him will give us valuable information that we may not already have." Skander, said, speaking directly to Cade and Emily while handing the stick over to Roxi. |
Lord Borr batted away the ropes with his beefy hands. It wasn't THAT easy to tie the MINISTER OF MAGIC up! "GET OUT OF MY OFFICE! In fact, GET OUT OF MY MINISTRY! GET OUT OF THIS COUNTRY! TREASON!" The Minister was yelling so loud it'd be surprising if Department of Mysteries (AND HOPEFULLY SAKURA!!) didn't hear his bellowing. "YOU ALL ARE GOING TO BE DEPORTED! TREASON! TREASON! HEEEEEEEELP!!!!!!!! TREASON IN THE MINISTER'S OFFICE! SECURITY!!!!!" Lord Borr wasn't listening to all of the NONSENSICAL LOLLYGAGGING GOOD FOR NOTHING chitter chatter in HIS office. No, he WAS kicking as far as his short, stubby legs would reach. Since there were SO many IDIOTS in his office, he was bound to get ONE. "BRING ME ARMEN RECARD. AND ALEXANDER! RIGHT NOW. ALEXANDER! SECRETARY!" KICK KICK KICK KICK KIIIIIICK! |
Emily rolled her eyes. "Silencio," she cast at the giant walrus of a Minister. Honestly, the last thing she needed was to lose her ability to hear. SHE WAS RIGHT BEHIND HIM! "Shut it or I'll shut you," she hissed. Well.. you know, one way or another. "Little nancy pants Recard isn't coming to save you... and neither is Alexander.. you're on your own." Well... wasn't anyone going to hit him on the head with his stick? |
Quote:
In fact he grabbed the stick back off of Roxi and went to do just that before thinking better of it. It seemed like Emily might want a go though and so he passed it over to her. "Besides it's really only treason if we kill or seriously harm you. We've done neither at this point in time. Therefore, no treason," being a legislator was actually coming in handy for once. Well, not really, but he liked talking back to Borr so Skander considered it a plus. |
Oh? Skander was done hitting him? Such a shame... she would have gladly turned to other way, wouldn't have seen a thing. But instead she took it from the man as he held it out in her direction. "Team three, perhaps you should get to your own mission? It's getting a little crowded in here." She glared at Borr menacingly. Then poked him. Yes thats right. POKED him. FAT LARD! ... honestly how were they going to get him into a friggin cell? |
