His attention then turned to Ruby who was pulling out pictures. Mason leaned forward to get a better look at the pictures. He looked them over and pondered for a moment before nodding and speaking up. "I really like the idea of a buffet. It makes things very simple and organized and not too crowded. It will be easy for employees to just go in, get a plate, and get all their food in one single line. That way, it won't be over-crowded anywhere or chaotic." Hopefully that made sense to them. "I also like the idea of the big room with the tables and chairs and the juice bar in back." Mason pointed to the last picture Ruby showed. "We could combine the two together; have a buffet and at the end, have a giant, open room with lots of tables and chairs to eat at. With a juice bar in the back. And maybe a dessert bar." Who didn't like dessert? Mason looked around the room for other opinions on what he suggested. |
The third picture looked too plain for this amazing, beautiful new Food Court that everyone was talking about. It would take a bit of sprucing up. But it wasn't her place to say that. Just an opinion. Becky didn't dare speak again. It would cause more wide eyes and scared look. As much as that amused her, it was a meeting which they were supposed to be getting on with and she had rudely interrupted by gently knocking on the door then losing her temper because she was completely ignored. The people still seemed to be shooting her a few strange looks. Well, they would. She nodded at the architect's opinion. Oooh, mixing them together! That would be so cool! And a dessert bar! Yum! She'd definetey be coming to this new place. Becky grinned to show her approval of this idea. Hopefully that wouldn't scare these people. She was also slightly desperate to ask what house Ruby Bell had been in at Hogwarts. It was random, but would be intresting to know. It was hard to guess with some people. Maybe she hadn't even attended Hogwarts, but another school? But, she couldn't ask. |

So Ruby was awaiting the others reaction to the pictures, mainly waiting on the architect's approval. Ahh, so there was one present in the meeting. "Pleasure." Yes, to see him, and so Ruby took a kiwi-juice flavored cup and sipped it slowly as she listened.. And Ruby was impressed by the man's suggestion, mainly for her juice bar. Oh yes, she could almost cry now but her tears could be shed once the Food Court was constructed. *Gulp* Draining her cup, Ruby clapped her hands together. Guess it was time to sum and rephrase things up."So then, as Sir Architect recommended, a buffet would best be suited to hold all the major foods.." Ruby looked down at the pictures she herself had laid, not that she had forgotten.. Goodness no, she merely glanced to see how combining the everything would work and look. "and juices, with all the tables and chairs arranged. "Noooow...." Eating one of her delicious biscuits that she brought over, waiting before she finished chewing to continue. They were good and not many were finishing them up. "Unless there are any other contributions to the designing, then dear Patterson will be free to send her list to Minister Greingoth for approval." " Looking up to see if there were any objections or any possible suggestions. Though it looked like Ms. Patterson was in agreement with the architect. With that then it looked like there would be nothing else to worry about other than the construction.. Oh yes.. |

As Ruby went over things for a final time, Mason reached for a biscuit and nibbled on it while she spoke. It was polite, right? To eat the woman's food she provided? Sure. And he was hungry. So, a buffet for all the food. A juice bar. Tables and chairs. Mason nodded. Sounded good to him. While he finished his biscuit, Mason glanced around the room to see if others had input. And... apparently, they didn't because it was silent for a while. Looking from the other very silent employees up to Ruby, Mason spoke up again. "I guess we're good with planning for now," he said. Now the Minister had to just approve it, right? |

Melanie had stayed quiet during the discussion over the layout of the food court. She was good enough for interior design for a little bit, but she was never good with colours. "Yes, I love both designs as well. A juice bar and a dessert bar would be an excellent addition to the food court. It would definitely attract more workers to eat there." Melanie nodded her head while saying all of these things. She could wait to start constructing the food court when the plan has been put in place. "So is the creepy woman over there," she said the word 'creepy" under her breath while jerking her head over to Becky the assistant. "going to send these plans to her boss?" Melanie gave a small smile to all of her co-workers. |
Divinity quickly and quietly came into the meeting room. found herself a seat and took off her coat.... " Sorry, What have I missed?..." then she saw the plans that someone handed her and nodded liking the layout and impressive ideas..." Well, this looks brilliant..." |
