Thomas Jones? Hadley smiled at him as Caroline introduced herself to him. Then she said "Hello Thomas, I'm Hadley," with a smile. It was lovely seeing she had some new co-workers to get to know. It really was the best department to work for. Not that she had worked anywhere else before, but what with a Boss that lets you call him by his first name, and all those magnificent creatures? What's not to love?

Hadley went a little red. Oh, had she gone a bit overboard in enthusiasm? It was just so exciting hearing about more ghosts in places other than England and Argentina. And THEN her eyes widened with delight. "Oh wow! That's fantastic, what were your houses values?" she asked. Her Ravenclaw ghost and she got along so well, despite the... barriers, mainly because they shared the same personality values. Or traits. She wrote the name down and tucked it inside a pocket in her book. She only had that name so far, but she would be building it up.

Another new one! Hadley beamed at the next person to join them. Scarlett Black, what a lovely name. "Hello Scarlett, I'm Hadley," she said with a big smile.

Hadley was pleased with Atticus' enthusiasm, and returned his smile and a nod, "Thank you very much Atticus, but... well there is something I could ask. I'm having toruble finding spirits for the information I need. I don't suppose you have any contacts that might be spirits?" she asked. Would he? It didn't matter if he didn't, she had already found a starting point today.

"Hello Scarlet. It's nice to meet you. Yes I am very happy about this job. I'm hoping that my younger brother is doing as well as I was in Care of Magical Creatures when I was his age." He said with a smile.

"Nice to meet you. I'm guessing that your the head of this side." He said with another smile. He then reached out, and shook the hand that he exteneded towards him.

"Magical beings are fascinating. The way on how we can learn from them. Like their behavior, or how they react with us." He said to everyone

She shook his hand is nice meeting so many new people she beamed a smiled.Um I prefer being Called Scarlett she said calmly.

Nice to meet you Hadley so what is your job here.I'm a Junior Werewolf Support Advisor.I help out werewolves she beamed.

You too Thomas she said with a smile.same as i she she excitedly.

She nodded to him with a smile as he spoke to her. Seems like a friendly guy, she liked that.

She agreed completely with what he was saying, "They are fascinating. Sometimes I just like sitting there watching them do things. Trying to figure out what they could be thinking, how they process thoughts... It's incredible," she agreed.

"Oh Junior Werewolf Support Advisor? Sounds really interesting. I'm a Spirit Support Officer, and... at the moment there's a bit of a spirit shortage needing my help, so I've started writing a book about communicating with spirits," she said with a smile. Hopefully the drafting of the chapters wouldn't take too long, so she could start processing it and filing it down.
"Have you had much other experience with Werewolves?" she asked out of interest.

actully yes my brother is a twin werewolf.he just came back this morning and needs to register.So your writing a book how interresting.I worte a few papers on teen werewolves when i was 14 but they didnt know it was my brother she frowned.

"Yes it really is interesting, I get to go around talking to spirits and take what I learn and translate it so that others can learn from it too. We once had a poltergeist in our farm and we had to work out ways to get rid of it. I don't even know how we got rid of it but I'm trying to find out how so that I can write about it," she said, slumping back in her chair. It really was hard, finding ways to remember what happened almost 10 years. But she was determined to remember.

"Oh, wow, well... maybe you can get them published now?" she suggested. She would be interested in reading them, definitely.

Mathorda arrived at her new cubicle and unpacked her things by magic. She smiled and began to play with her Peruvian Vipertooth bracelet, watching the small model walk onto the back of her hand at being touched. Her very prized possesion!

Sounds Interesting she said with a smile.I might give you copy when i get them out of my vault.She smiled would like go out for tea later she smiled.

Hadley saw another new colleague come in. Wait, was she new? Hadley didn't know. She herself was quite new to the job. "Hi," Hadley said, to get her attention. Trying to make her feel welcome, whether she be new or old to the job. "I'm Hadley."

Tea sounded good. "Have you been to many restaurants and cafes they have in Diagon Alley?" she asked. She had been to a few. Met a nice man that she would never see again. She sighed, and continued talking. "Oh, that would be fantastic! I'd love to read it."

Caroline smiled and said Thats great, why did you think you would get something lower? Have you had much experience with dragons?

Caroline looked as someone knew joined she said Hi, its nice to meet you. I am Caroline Nightingale. The gringotts liason.

Caroline smiled and said Yes, shes quite great. I believe shes coming here to speak to me, actually. or at least thats what the letter said. My house values were true to the end, loyal, and caring, much like Hufflepuff. Maybe she will be able to give you some more names... Hadley would very much like that...

Caroline glanced over as a new employee entered as well. She said Hi, I am Caroline Nightingale! I love your bracelet by the way.

Madeline Monaco strolled into the Magical Creatures work area with a ton of work on her mind.

Hello my name is scarlett Black-Hawkins.So what do you do she asked with a smile.I work as a Junior Werewolf Support Advisor.

"Nice to meet you, Scarlett. I'm Madeline Monaco," Madeline held out a hand to shake. Her blond hair that was pulled up into a sleek ponytail still reached her middle back. "I work as a Mermaid Liason."

Nice to meet you Madeline.that seems like very cool job.so um do have any kids or a boyfriend.I have a husband and baby on the way.

"It is. I'm the only one at the moment so I have to make sure to do it well." Madeline nodded.

"No kids or boyfriend at the moment," Madeline shrugged. "I haven't met many people here yet."

Oh wow i didn't know that she frowned.you found someone i make sure of it she smiled.i can set up on a date if ya want.

"You could if you wanted to," Madeline smiled. "I could use a change of pace."

okay his name is Charlie and hes really cool.We went school together she smiled.

"Sure, I'd love to meet him." Madeline said.

"Yes. I do have some experience with dargons, but when I used to get rid of beasts for a living, they were normally small beasts. Like goblins, babyb acromantulas, and sometimes the occasional ghoul." He said to Caroline. He watched as two new people walked in. He went up to the both of them and said "Hello. I'm Thomas Jones." He said offering a hand a both of them.

Mathorda was snapped from her concentration on the bracelet. "Back now, girl." she murmered, and her model dragon returned to her wrist and swirled itself around it, becoming a bracelet once more. "Er...Hello. I am Mathorda." She still wasn't used to making friends, even after all these years.



Mathorda was yet again greeted by a total stranger. "Mathorda Black, hello." Was her bracelet just complimented?? Perchance she was to take a liking to this woman. "Thank you! It was my mother's. She knew I loved dragons...so she left it to me when she passed on." She smiled, a real smile. "Are you interested in dragons?" she asked, suddenly feeling up to conversation.



Mathorda nodded politely. "Hello, I'm Mathorda Black." she said, shaking his hand. "What creatures do you work with?"

Hadley nodded her head at Scarlett and said "Thanks, really. So... you live far from London?" she asked. With the network and apparating, amongst other methods of travel, Hadley was always curious as to how far some of the staff travelled to get to work.

Listening with interest, Hadley almost jumped off her chair. Coming to speak to Caroline? My, that was exciting. "Wow, sounds like a good house. And... ghost. I think that would be.. wow, so amazing. Thank you SO much Caroline! It feels like a weight has been lifted," she said with a sigh.

Hadley noticed another staff member she had not yet met, but she looked very preoccupied. Should she say hello? Well, it's always nice having people there, even if you don't want to talk to them just yet. "Hello? Everything okay? I'm Hadley," she said. Well, it was always nice having people to talk to.

Hadley watched her bracelet in amazement. "Wow that's impressive," she said. "Mathorda? That's a nice name."

Atticus thought for a moment. He'd never associated with spirits on a regular basis, even if he did find them fascinating and interesting to learn about and speak to on those occasions he did meet one. "Personally, no, I'm afraid I don't have much contact with spirits," he replied thoughtfully. "However, I might have a friend or two who does. I could ask around and let you know when I find someone, if you like."

Atticus noticed two others enter the work area, and he inclined his head politely, greeting them with a smile. As they were soon wrapped in conversation with the other employees present, he decided not to interrupt just for introductions.



Instead, he addressed the entire group. "If you all will excuse me, I believe that coffee in the break room is calling my name." With another polite nod and smile to each of them, he excused himself and headed for the Level 4 Break Room. They could follow and continue their conversations there over a nice cup of coffee, tea, or water if they wanted, or they could stay where they were. 'Twas up to them.
