Breathe in, breathe out.

After taking a few breath, Josh supposed he had started to feel a bit better. Right. He could always see Evelyn after work, right? Yet, on the other hand, a part of his mind said that half of his annoyance had nothing to do with her; he did not like losing the fight with the level nine corridors.

What could they be doing inside to hide it like that? Oh-so-mysteriously-secret stuff?

Snorting a bit, Josh was about to go back up to the lifts when he heard footsteps approaching. He was all ears now. Maybe it was Evelyn...but...no that were not her footsteps. It did not sound like a female, either. They liked to wear those high heels that always inform him as a woman approached. A moment later, he did not need to listen to the voices anyway as he saw the man himself.

The boss man.

Oh great. Now he was possibly going to be like 'What are you doing down here? Why are not you in the office doing some work to be useful?'

''Mr Tanner!'' he responded pushing himself off the wall. Oh well, he just asked...if he was okay. That was a good start. Way better that what he was expecting. ''I am fine. I just...wanted to visit a friend.''

Jaxton looked over the man slowly, and wondered why he looked slightly flumoxed. It was interesting. He'd never seen his YATI's or Auror's, look at him like that. Sure, there had been loathing a few times, and envy at other points... but it almost looked like Josh thought he was going to yell at him. Hmm. Why would he have a reason to yell?

Jaxton nodded his head slightly. "In the Courtrooms?" He asked him, raking his brain over the Ministry workers on Level 10 and over those he personally knew. He didn't know many of them, but he was getting to know them more as he grew into his role as Head Auror.

Also... a friend? Hmm. He silently hoped they were just friends... that or that Josh kept her safe if they were more. Just like he did with Alicia. They needed to be the best kept secret for an Auror. Although, silently, Jaxton was still worrying about how he'd keep Alicia safe once they'd gotten married and he'd pointed her out to everyone who cared.

Urgh. That was a matter for another day... not now.

"I've been meaning to find a minute to speak to you, actually." Jaxton suddenly said, looking up from the steps and looking down at the twenty-one year old. "About your training, and how I can help you train more."

In the courtrooms?

Josh had to blink at the man a few times. He thought that he was going to meet 'his friend' in the courtrooms? That was....eh. ''No.'' he said quickly ''Not the courtrooms.'' Definitely not. He had already been kinda scolded during the last training in the training room and now he did not want the boss to get another wrong impression on him. ''She works on level nine. I...could not find her there then...'' how was he going to explain why he was here almost down to level ten? Even he did not know the reason. ''...then i found myself here.'' Telling the truth was better than making up anything anyway.

Once the man started to speak again, Josh tried to push all the thoughts over how he was annoyed at not being able to see Evelyn out of his mind and focus on the boss' words instead. Good thing he did, anyway, as what he was saying seemed to be important and...well...if he wanted to talk to him he was probably in trouble. Eeeeeeeeh. ''Sure, sir.''

But he was not the kind to just wait and face the trouble without doing anything. ''Look, boss, i really did not mean to disrespect the IUMO chief. I just asked a question, she misunderstood me.''
