"I-I'll go," Joseph vollentered,. It didn't sound hard. Really.

A memo in the shape of a paper airplane zoomed towards the conference room door. As soon as it hit the closed door, it opened and stuck itself to the wooden surface so that everyone could read the message.

Coffee cup in hand, Rex opened the door to the conference room and went inside. He saw that the materials for the employees was on the table along with a prototype of the game that they were here to discuss. He took his customary seat at the head of the table and took a sip of his coffee while awaiting the arrival of the rest of the employees.

Ryan had heard that there was a Department meeting and so he knew that he would have to attend or he would get into trouble, he quickly came into the conference nodded at his boss and then sat down at the table waiting to find out what would happen next.

Saxon heard about the mandatory meeting her level was having and knowing mandatory was a required field she came to the conference room as quickly as she could. And she saw the big boss drinking some coffee. Now, she didn't want to be on his bad side, but she wasn't sure about starting conversation with him first until she analyzed him. So, she just stood in the background and waited for everyone else to file in.

Brantley made his way into the conference room, apparently there was some important meeting everyone had to show up to.. He nodded at the two others who had made their way here before he had before he spotted the Department head.
He grinned at the man and nodded at him to, 'what's up... sir?' He shrugged, not sure if that was the kind of greeting he should give, but not sure if he cared either.
Brantley coughed and sat down at the table, hoping this meeting wouldn't take for ever.

"I want to thank all of you for attending this meeting," Rex began. "I know it was short notice, but there is something that we have to do and I'd like the entire department to participate."

"Before I introduce the task, I just want to encourage all of you to try the new Ministry cafeteria located on our level. I ate lunch there yesterday and the food was superb."

Plugged the cafeteria, so now I can move on to business.

"There's a game I'd like for us to, ahem, play around with."

Now did he have their attention?

A game? At first Saxon thought of Quidditch but then it couldn't be that simple, could it? This was the Ministry never imagine something to be what it says to be. If that made any sense. Basically always be on your toes.

"Like a Quidditch game, right sir?" She asked this more as a way to reassure herself that hopefully nothing shifty was occurring. Saxon didn't like shiftyness.

But her mind went somewhere else as she slowly realized there was a cafeteria here."Cafeteria? You mean I don't need to keep bringing my peanut butter and jelly sandwich from my flat? Why did no one tell me about the cafeteria? That place is like my home. I mean, second home! I mean, a cafeteria. Right, yes, continue."She told the boss. Slowly she looked around the room and saw the staring eyes and slowly tried to disappear behind a plant. Boy, she really went off task there.

Mr. Chevron Wilkes scratched his bare ankle where it was crossed over his knee. He had a cup of coffee propped on his thigh and an ohhhhh-sooooo-interested expression on his face. Mostly, he was asleep, but he was there. This was, actually, his usual mandatory at-work nap hour, but he'd made exception for ole T-Rex.

Something about a game. Cafeteria. Where were the WOMEN of his Department at? Did Chev need to go liaise some of them?

Food? Brilliant. That meant he wouldn't have to bring his awesome sandwiches to work, cause they were awesome, he had made them after all. So there was a cafeteria. And Brantley wouldn't mind just sitting there eating all day.
Just then some girl he'd never seen started rambling on about a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. And apparently the cafeteria had already turned into her home. Right. Brantley chuckled and returned his attention to the boss-man.
Brantley frowned. They had been sent here to play a game? Surely they had better things to do than play games. He sure did. 'We are here to.. play a game?' He eyed his boss curiously, he had never had such a meeting before.

A new sport they had to play, Harvey eyed Brantley as he brought up this question. Would he have to participate in to see if it was safe and fun for others to play? Harvey spun his cane around beside him and coughed. Hoping Rex would realize if they had to ACTUALLY try this new sport out not all of them will be able to play it to it's full extent.

If Harvey really had to play around with this sport at least give him a chance at the new cafeteria before he cripples his other leg.

Nodding slightly at the mention of the cafeteria, Adam contemplated the fact that he wouldn't need to venture into London, or bring food to work anymore. Although he liked eating in London, -

but onto business.

Leaning forward in his chair, Adam rested his forearms on the table and focused his attention on his boss. A game? This was interesting. Gosh, he did like his job, testing new things. "What does it involve?" he asked curiously, eyeing the things on the table infront of them all.

"No, not a Quidditch game," Rex replied. "Nor is it Gobstones or Quodpot."

"Well, sort of. It's rather complicated to explain."


"The game involved several complicated patents," Rex began as he struggled to find a way of explaining what the game actually was. "It took a few departments to investigate but it's all good."

He cleared his throat.

"Well, from my understanding, this is a role playing game." Now he was expecting a few raised eyebrows. "But it's based on a popular Muggle one but ours is much cooler and should appeal to teenagers and young adults. It involves vampires and zombies. Let me get the description for you. I'll be right back."

He stood up and left the conference room for a few minutes. When he returned, he was carrying a square box. It was black and had blotches of glittery red ink splattered on it, as if it were blood.

"Here's the basic packaging," Rex said as he placed it on the table. He took the lid off the box and began rummaging through it. "Hmm. Let's see . . . there's a stack of cards, vampire fangs, and zombie masks. Ah, here they are - instructions!"

"The game is called 'Fright Night: A Magical Role Playing Experience'," he read and shook his head. "We are definitely open for suggestions on a catchier title. Anyhow, players take a card from the stack and they're supposed to do whatever it says. If you get a vampire one, I guess you wear the vampire fangs and zombies wear the mask . . . and whoever wrote these instructions should be fired which is why we need to play with this stupid game and figure out how it works as well as how to make it marketable."

"Come on. Ideas. Let's hear them."

"First of all, sir, would this game be for the muggle community or the wizard community or a mixture of both to extent? I think which community it'll be meant for can encourage rules and ways to play the game and can hinder to make it more interesting or not." Maybe that should be decided first. Once they knew which community it might be for then they would have a better understand of rule boundries.

"But I think, just as a starting idea we can go out simple. The game can maybe be like "Tag You're It" If the vampire manages to make contact with the zombie, the zombie then turns into a vampire and vice versa. Maybe there can be some vampire materials and zombie materials that can deflect a vampire getting close to the zombie and the zombie close to the vampire." Saxon was just throwing out whatever she could remember from video games.

"So, like maybe light is the vampires weakness, so the vampire would have to find a way to overcome the light in order to attack the zombie." She shrugged. That was basically all she had to say at the moment. Once other people put stuff on the table, she might get other ideas.

A role playing game? Harvey asked aloud, He wasn't sure what Rex had meant by that. Heck, the most recent game he had played was called a video game. Something about a Gorilla called Donkey, that liked to steal woman from plumbers. Couldn't he just stick with Quidditch.

Harvey reached over the conference table and snatched up one of the zombie masks. He looked at it carefully before setting it down in front of him. That name does need some tweaking, he agreed. It sounded to happy for something with Zombies and Vampires. How about Living Nightmare: The Undead Experience. He paused for a moment to see if anyone else had a thought then continued. It works better than Magical because Vampires and Zombies are classified as Living Dead.

"It would be for the wizarding community," Rex replied. "From my understanding of the magical patents, the accessories have been magically enhanced to make the role of the wearer more believable."

He thought about what she said about how it could work. "Yes, I'm sure we can make it like a 'tag' game."

Rex listened and nodded. "I like it! Living Nightmare: The Undead Experience has a nice ring to it."

Harvey listened Intently to his bosses explanation of how the game was magically enhanced. At first he was tempted to take the zombie mask and slip it over his head. Now he was having second thoughts. Magically Enhanced how? Harvey asked. If I decide to put this mask on now... he picked up the zombie mask he snatched away earlier I won't cause a Zombie break-out within the Ministry will I?

"Of course not!" Rex exclaimed and picked up the instructions. "Let's see what it says about the masks and fake teeth. Ah, here we are! The masks are designed to enhance the role playing experience. The directions explain that the masks will magically conform to the wearer's face and the wearer will even sound like a zombie. Same idea is behind the vampire fangs - they conform to fit the wearer's teeth and you'll have a vampire accent."

He put the instructions down.

"Ideas. Suggestions. Let's hear them!"

Lola gingerly knocked, quite quietly, on the door of what was, apparently, level 7, Magical Games and Sports', conference room. In one hand she held one of the platters Gina had asked her and Gavin to deliver. A sudden wave of nervousness swept over her- what if the whole of Level 7 was in there? Actually, they probably were...

"Ah, the food has arrived!" Rex exclaimed when the woman arrived with the platters he ordered. "Thank you. Please set them down on the table."

He looked at the rest of his department. "Everyone - tuck in and we'll eat while working."

Carrying his tray Gavin stood behind Lola as she knocked on the door. It was a nice change of pace, though in some aspects he felt like a waiter now. Oh, well, at least he was out of the office at the moment helping out around the ministry.

Stepping into the room after Lola, "Compliments of Level 5 sir." he said greeting the Games and Sports Department Head. It was safe to use the word sir he thought considering Lola had used his first name, but Gavin didn't really know him.

Placing his tray on the table, that was filled with a variety of mozzarella sticks, cheesy bread and breadsticks as well as the bacon, ham and cheese and chicken salad sandwiches, both the grilled chicken and turkey wraps and finally both the fruit and garden gnome salads, he stepped back away from the table. "Enjoy!"

Lola also placed her tray on the table, a little further down because of its size. Lola just nodded along as Gavin talked. Her silver platter was full of cornish pasties the size of her fist, potatoes and mixed vegatables, Cesar salad, tripe, pork rubs and applesauce and chicken and ham pie. She, too, nodded, adding "Hope you enjoy your meal...", before leaving.

While everyone focused on eating, Rex looked at the so-called game that they were examining and shook his head. "Since we can't seem to figure out how to make this game better, I'll compose a letter to the game's creator and ask them to provide a more thorough detailing of the rules," he announced and pointed to the food.

"Leave the game items on the table and make sure you take a snack with you. Meeting adjourned."

Lourdes had called all of her employees for a meeting. Actually, at first she didn't intend to... but she felt like she needed the opinions of her whole department rather than just listening to her thoughts. It seemed better and much more considerate because the decisions made in this meeting will affect the general public, especially the magical games & sports fans in Britain.

Right now, the conference room was set and Lourdes even had the seats dusted so that no speck of dirt was seen by the naked eye. Even did some spell work of her own. She wasn't that terrible in Charms, okay? The table at the side had some food, ranging from salads to desserts, and drinks like juice and tea. It was thanks to the Food Court employees for their help in the preparation of these treats.

Now all the department head had to do was wait for her employees. They wouldn't take long, of course. They should know that Lourdes was a bit particular about attendance and punctuality.

Victoria has seen the memo about a meeting and made her way to their conference room. With all this potion volunteering and possible date with someone her brain was all over the place. Making her way into the conference room she smiled at Lourdes and noticed she was the first to arrive. Hmmmm where was Mariel again.. She should have waited on her friend, but thought she might be already here.

"After noon boss." She greeted nicely as she poured some tea. She would probably need another coffee once the meeting was done, but for now tea would work. Finding her seat she wondered what this could be about and then when she thought about the whole department she began to get a little nervous.

Running her fingers through her hair she hoped she looked alright if he was going to be there, but of course he was. He was in the department as well. Oh she hoped she would be able to focus on what Lourdes needed if he was in the room as well. Where was Mariel....
