"What do I do? Stay out of trouble." Reaching for his goggles, his eyes shifted before deciding not to put those tinted lenses on. "They did not hire me because I am trustworthy or good with paper work. They want to keep an eye on me. They can't lock me up, but they can buy me off." Bringing his hands back to his sides, he smiled slightly, having forgotten what it was like to hold a somewhat normal conversation even if he couldn't say much.

Alex chuckled at his response to her question. "Clever loophole. I see what you did there." she said, rolling her eyes slightly. She smiled, so he knew that she was kidding. She wasn't actually annoyed. That would be a really stupid thing to be annoyed about.

Alex was confused about what he said. Not trustworthy? Buy him off? What was going on?! "Why would someone want to lock you up?" she asked, instantly regretting it. He might get mad at her for asking a such a personal question. "I am sorry if that is too personal. You don't have to answer it." she said, smiling weakly. Even though she wanted to know, she wasn't going to pressure him into telling her.

"Thank you." The man gave a brief laugh, a small smile tugging at the edge of his lips. "For respecting my privacy, but that is one of the things I'm willing to talk about."

Suddenly looking tired, Nero took a seat beside the young woman. "I have done some dark deeds in the past. Nothing out of malice or greed, I only did what needed to be done for the good of the world." Though he looked young for his age, the years could be heard in the timber of his voice. "I did the black work that nobody could know about. Things you don't talk about in polite company."

Alex smiled at the man. She was glad that she hadn't offended him with her quite personal question. The young woman was shocked that he was willing to talk about it. If it were Alex, she would want to keep it a secret. You never know what people will think.

She looked at him, and all she could do was wonder. Wonder what "black work" needed to be done. "I see." she said, gently. "Why would they lock you up if it was for the greater good?" she said, thinking aloud. That didn't seem to make much sense to the Italian, but maybe if it was something truly awful, one could be locked up. "I am so sorry for all that has happened to you." she said, looking directly into his eyes. She did feel bad for the man. She could tell that he had been through a lot.

"Hm." She seemed like a kind soul. Would she have sympathy for the devil if he had a sad story to tell? Pulling his shaded goggles over his eyes, he saw things in a different light. "I have no regrets. Got to see the world since I've been away." Lifting the goggles back up, he relaxed a little.

"It was a long vacation, and it appears there is much work to do."

Alex tucked her hair behind her ear and diverted her attention to the floor. She had gotten little sleep last night, due to her family's drama. Thinking about sleep made her yawn. Seeing the world. That was something she wanted to do. "Well that's good, I guess." she said, smiling weakly. "I have always wanted to travel the world." she said, nodding her head slightly.

"I bet." she said, raising her eyebrows. There was always work to do, because some idiot always screwed something up.

Blaise made his way around the Ministry after being on the tour with Gabe earlier. He stopped at the fountain's base, looking down into the water, mulling over the day's happenings.

That was when he looked up and over to the Security Office he had been in earlier, waaaay up there. He would be doing internal stuff for right now, which was alright. At least he'd be working on something, and not filing things and running coffee errands. Well, except maybe for Damien, since he struck a cord with him earlier.

Whoops.

Isobel would be pretty glad when this day of work was done. It was just not going good at all. At least it had kind of distracted her from Armen. That was good, although she was going to try and get out of the ministry as fast as possible so that she didn't like bump into him. It had been awkward enough in the morning, so she didn't want to see him. Not at all. But as she past through the fountain she managed to bump into someone else. Mann. She really needed to stop doing that. It was not auror like at all.

Isobel sighed, as she looked up at whoever she'd just bumped into. Oh. She kind of recognised him from the office this morning. "Sorry..." She murmered with a smile. At least it wasn't as awkward as her bump thiis morning had been.

Normally, people bumping into Blaise didn't ever bother him. If anything, it felt more like a tap because he never payed attention. And he definitely wasn't paying attention today, because he didn't know anyone had hit him until a voice drifted up to his ears.

"Oh, don't even worry about it," Blaise said, immediately recognizing her from earlier today. She had been in... a woman mood, which wasn't good. He wasn't exactly sure what to say, to not irritate her. "Long day? I wasn't paying attention either. Lots to take in today, really."

Toni walk near the fountain as he see it, it was simple, remebering the history say, less than a hundred years old, this fountain is replaced by "magic is might" things, placing muggle as slave of the wizardkind, now it back to its original state.

Toni trowing some galleons she save in decade for a simple wish.

"there is no looking back? no such thing exist" she said weakly

With his cup of cocoa (shh, everyone should think it's... coffee) held in one hand, Konrad made his way to the atrium, since he was early for work. Well, he was always early, but this time was more than early. Hehe.

Besides, he'd never explored this part of the ministry, or any other level, except for the one he was working on, so he thought he'd give it a try. He eventually found this interesting fountain, and stopped by to admire it for a little bit.

Victoria and for the first time ever was early for work, it's not like she is usually late but she always comes on time not before time!
However, she woke up and felt like walking so she ended up coming early.She first thought of going to her office but then it would be too out of character coming that earl. So she thought why not going to the Atrium for a bit.

She walked there ,she always likes going to places with fountains and stuffs. Because she likes water very much. However, when she was there something caught her attention! It was a familiar face …Her excellent eyes recognized him right away.. It was her friend Konrad!

She smiled to herself because she has just found company. She wondered what is he doing here? Konrad always comes to the office before her, does he always come here first?


She walked towards him from behind and said cheerfully "Hey!!" she then noticed that she might startle him so she lowered her voice although it was too late " konrad! Isn't this a great coincidence?!" she said smiling.

Konrad was about to take a sip of his coffee cocoa, but he almost choked as he heard a voice behind him. But he didn't choke, of course. THAT would've been embarrassing. He only managed to swallow everything, and then turned around to see who it was, even though he recognized that voice as belonging to Victoria.

"Hey," the man grinned, as he faced his cheerful workmate. She could always put a grin on his face.

Coincidence? So... that meant that he actually wasn't the only freak that came super early for work? "Early as well?" He asked, raising an eyebrow and sliiiightly smirking. Hehe.

Victoria laughed as she sat down facing Konrad "Oh yeah! I'm early" she nodded "Too early I suppose, couldn't find anything to do so I walked here" she told him. She crossed her legs and got out a bottle of water from her magical purse that can fit for anything in the world.

She drank about half of it then she put it back then she turned back to Konrad smiling who must be used to Victoria drinking water every now and then "So do you always come here before coming to the office?" she asked him curiously. She wouldn't be surprised if he said yes because he always comes before her so she might not know

Konrad couldn't help but chuckle when she took out the bottle of water. But yes, he was used to her drinking a lot, which was... good, in his opinion. But still funny. Hehe.

"No," he said as he slightly shook his head, "it's actually the first time I've ever seen this," he was now looking at the fountain. It seemed like a nice place to spend some free time around it. Relaxing, you know? "I just arrived... too early today," the man mumbled, feeling as the blood rushed through his cheeks.

Well, he was a punctuality freak, and he knew that.

"And you? What are you doing here this early?" Or maybe she had some assignment on this level? Or just passing by?

First time? Victoria couldn't help but to look curious "Oh it's a great place you should've come here ages ago!" she winked at him "I see" she nodded "Well, It's nice to come early you know, but maybe I should come less earlier" she laughed. It was funny how she either comes almost at time or comes too early she should try average rate.

Victoria paused trying to figure out why did she come early?! "Well, I woke up too early today. And everyone was asleep, so I got dressed and went out" she told him "I used to go walking in the early morning but I haven't in a while due to work" she said "So today I saw an opportunity and I took advantage of it" She grinned.

She remembered how she used to wake up really early and walk to her former job. She used to like it a lot. But the ministry job is much different "You know the streets are so different in the morning" she said "That's what I feel" she hoped that he won't think she's kind of freak or something for thinking that.

Ages ago? Hmmm. "I didn't really... explore the ministry that much," Konrad said, kind of laughing nervously. Well... you know. He was working on the first level, so he had nothing to see around the other ones. But since he was early that day... why not?

"I suppose you didn't want to wake the rest of the family?" Well, that would make sense. On one side, it was good that Konrad had only Klaus to wake up in the morning, but on the other side... it was obvious.

Different? "Deserted, you mean?" Or maybe unexpectedly crowded in the morning? Nahh. Normal people sleep. Not like Konrad, who's always super early for work, as if he didn't prefer to just lay in that fluffy bed of his.

Victoria smiled "Maybe you're right as our offices are In the first floor, we don't have to pass anything to get to our offices" It made sense but still, how could he resist not coming here! That was one of the differences between them. Konrad cares mostly about important things.

"Yes, They usually wake up with me" she said "So there was no need to wake them up with just because I happened to wake up earlier this time!" she told him "That would be selfish" she nodded. Although her brother wakes her up if he wanted someone to chat with even if it is midnight!

"No, I didn't mean that" she said "It's like psychological thing, like the streets are brighter and more cheerful! But it's not about the sun or the light it just feels like it" she said dreamily looking in the sky. She always has that kind of believes which her family makes fun of her because of them "I don't know if you get me, most people don't" she sighed then she smiled slightly.

Yup, she was right. They really didn't get to see much of the ministry on their way to their desks, and since Konrad didn't want to wander around too much, mainly because he didn't want to get into trouble, he prefered to stay at the level he was working on. "That's exactly what I was thinking about," he said, grinning.

Ah, she didn't want to wake anyone up. "That's very nice of you. But I think I would've enjoyed waking up everyone," the man chuckled. Unfortunately, there was only Klaus to wake up. And he always woke up whenever Konrad did.

He listened carefully to what Victoria told him. "I understand what you mean." He just wouldn't be able to come up with a... theory like that one. Hehe.

Victoria laughed "Well, I would've enjoyed waking up my brothers but not my parents or my Grandma" she said. She imagined herself knocking on her Grandma's door. Her Grandma wouldn't really mind she would've fixed some breakfast for her.

He understood?!?Victoria was getting ready to explain to him what she meant, but he already understood "Really?! You did" she wondered "Well, thank you" she didn't know why she thanked him but maybe because he didn't think she's crazy for thinking of this "So you feel like me sometimes?" she asked him curiously. What if he was just saying this to make her shut up! Which really she wouldn't blame him for because she's mumbling about it annoyingly.

Victoria's throat was dry so she got out her bottle and gulped some water. And only when she did she noticed that Konrad was drinking something too. She couldn't believe she never noticed it as she was mumbling around "Are you drinking coffee?" she asked him. Her curiosity told her to ask.

"Big family," Konrad chuckled, as Victoria mentioned brothers, parents and a grandmother. Hehe. He lives only with his Klaus, but he was perfectly happy. Maybe Rose will join them one day... or maybe not?

"I did," he nodded, and then a large grin appeared on his face. And... she was thanking him? For what? "Sometimes I do," he went on, this time wondering why she was asking. Maybe because she didn't believe him? Eh, it didn't matter.

... coffee? "Uh... not really," the man laughed, as he faced the cup he was still holding. "I actually hate coffee." There. He said it. "Please don't laugh," too much, "but it's cocoa." Which was WAY better than coffee.

Victoria smiled "Yeah you should've seen us before my elder brother got married, when we were young and my father was still alive!"she said giggling "It was chaos!" she remembered how their house used to be . It was always energetic, it still is but not like it used to be "I suppose your family is small?" she wondered.

So it appeared that he really understood what she said. Anyway, there was no need to push it. She couldn't just interrogate him about it. Besides she can't except all people to be interested in her mental theories.

Victoria smiled slightly "Why would I laugh?!" she said "I hate coffee too!" she shrugged "I think it's too strong, every time I drink it makes me feel funny" she told him . Coffee really makes her funny and weird especially if it was sugared.

Hmmm his family? "Well... my parents are in Denmark," obviously, "my brother is here and also married, and has a daughter, but I live only with my cat," he said with a smile. "So it's just the two of us." Just him and Klaus. Nice and quiet. Except for Klaus' bad days when he starts meow..ing all day long.

Okay, she wasn't laughing. Good. Konrad only thought that he might look... silly, since almost every adult drank coffee. But he'll probably never like it.

It made her feel funny? "It makes me feel... sick," Konrad added, laughing.

He and his cat….Yeah he mentioned once that he has a cat but never thought that he was his only roommate. Victoria would have felt sorry for herself if she lived alone but as for Konead she didn't because he seemed to handle his life successfully. She wouldn't be sure if she could, probably not. Bur Konrad is clearly different than her, "That's interesting! You know I don't think I could handle being alone. … "she told him.

Sick!? Well, she didn't hate it that much, she can drink it but she'd never enjoy it "Sometimes I wonder why almost all people like it? What do they find about it?" she wondered it as really curious.

Victoria checked her magical glowing watch to see if it's time for them to go to their office. But there it wasn't time yet, it's almost but it's not. She also noticed more people started to come here, probably their shifts were about to start.

Alone? Didn't he just say... ? Ahh, maybe he did sound like a true loner, since he was living just with Klaus, and she seemed to have a very big family. "You'd never feel alone around him," Konrad said, laughing. Klaus just loved attention, and he got plenty of that from Konrad. So they were both happy, and definitely not alone.

Instead of saying something about what Victoria had told him, the man came up with a not-so-brilliant idea. "We should open a club," he said with a large grin on his face. "The... 'Non-Coffee Drinkers'." There. That would be the best club ever. Hehe. "What do you think?"

He suddenly noticed that she was checking her watch. "We're not late, are we?" That would be a first, and he didn't want to start now.
