Alexander Greingoth EraAll historical records pertaining to Ministry of Magic RPG under Minister for Magic, Alexander Greingoth [IC January 2076 - December 2081; OOC January 2012 - June 2013]
Ah, she tossed the coin, anyway. Maybe her wish would come true, now that she threw a couple of coins, and not only one. Hehe. But... she said she was boring? "If you say so, I honestly don't know what to say about myself," he laughed. Well, truth be told, she didn't seem boring at all, even though Konrad didn't really know anything about her. He, on the other hand, was the boring one there. He really was.
And then she said it.
...
Her wish came true... when HE walked up?! His eyes instantly widened as he heard that part, but he was more than glad to listen to the second part of her answer, which only made his face soften. "I'm not Mr Popular either, if that helps." It probably didn't. "But I'm sure you'll meet amazing people through this new job of yours." Planning events surely involved a large team, he at least knew that much.
He smiled when she actually remembered him. It's not like someone passing through the front desk area could miss him... since he worked there... and that six foot four frame of his didn't really help him go unnoticed either, as much as he didn't like it. "Yes, I'm sure I've seen you around," he said with a smile. The least he could do was know some of the employees working on the same level, even though he hadn't officially met all of them.
"I don't think it wouldn't be stressful for me." He was organized, neat and all, but when if it came to planning events... he knew he'd have awful headaches. That's why women were so good at this. "What exactly did you do before, if you don't mind my asking?" She probably figured by now what a curious creature Konrad was. Eh, everyone got used to it... eventually. "Yes, I worked here for the last... four years, I think. I used to travel a lot before moving here." And he missed those days... but he also wanted to settle down and maybe one day have a family of his own. Not that he didn't have a spoiled baby already.
... his feline companion, that is.
She smiled at the man, "You don't know what to say about yourself...well I know I just met you but I'm going to say that you are friendly because you walked up to a complete stranger to say hello...." she paused and then continued, "and you must be organized since you are the Secretary for Level One...and you seem like a nice man...unless you have me fooled already..." she said the last part in a joking voice.
"O, well you seem like the kind of guy that might have made peeps notice you..." she said encouragingly...she really wasn't sure what to say honestly to his comment because she highly doubted that such a nice man wasn't well liked. "I'm hoping I meet a ton of new peeps at the Ministry but I've already been here for a little while and my choices are very limited..." she said with a smile...even though it was a kind of downer statement she still said it with her usual upbeat and positive attitude.
She started swinging her legs under her just a little bit as she sat on the edge of the fountain...she glanced over her shoulder to look at the water...no she was safe to not fall in..."Before this, well before coming to the Ministry I worked for Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes. I traveled around the world to their different locations and was in charge of making sure that they were all running smoothly and fixed any sales problems they might have. I did that for a few years before coming to the Ministry." she paused wondering if she was sharing too much...nah if the man hadn't wanted to know he wouldn't have asked...right...or maybe he was just a nice guy and was keeping the conversation going with the easy questions...either way she was going to share...
"Then I spent a little while in Law Enforcement and moved to Department Head of Accident's and Catastrophes..." yes she knew that it sounded adventurous but it wasn't really, "But when the Event Planning job came open in the Minister's Office, I just had to jump at the opportunity to do that. It's always been my dream and with the new Minister I felt like I could work on Level One..." she said with a shrug of her shoulders.

He didn't know what to say about himself... but he meant something else. Iridesca, on the other hand, seemed like she figured out lots of things, and he couldn't help but laugh. What he didn't know was that his cheeks turned slightly pink. "That's very nice of you to say," he smiled in response, "but I was actually thinking that I may be the boring one here, and not you."
A wide grin spread across his face as she mentioned something about him being noticeable. "Not really. I am more of a loner." Not LONELY lonely but, just as he'd already said, not Mr Popular either. And... what about having limited choices? "Well, now you've met me. One more person to help you reach that 'ton of new peeps'." At that, he wiggled his fingers in the air to quote her, since he never really used the word 'peep'. He found it amusing, though.
Just as he noticed her swinging her legs, Konrad made a step closer to the fountain and leaned against it, crossing his arms over his chest. He felt... awkward, just standing there, so a bit of support would help. Listening to what she was telling him, he couldn't help but look surprised. "You worked for Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes?" He couldn't say he bought things from that shop, but it never failed to amaze him. The only thing that stopped him from buying was his age, unfortunately. Maybe it was time to act more mature and all, but he still had silly moments. Ooooh, she worked in the Accident and Catastrophes department as well? "That's... quite impressive. But I'm glad you've joined the level one team," he grinned. It's not like there was some war going on between the Ministry's levels, but it was still good to know that she was a fellow employee.
He laughed when she said something about the new minister. "Good thing you weren't around the previous minister." The one who shall not be named, because those walls had EARS. What if someone passing by heard the name and decided to stop and eavesdrop? Eh?

Iridesca got a little bit nervous as his cheeks got a little shade of red on them.....had she said something wrong...was that just a nice laugh or a nervous one...but she quickly understood what had caused those..."O, well, I just met you and don't seem boring at all...but if you really think you are boring then you just need to get more spontaneous and fun friends..." she said with a little wink...she still couldn't imagine a man built like this was boring.
She giggled at his loner comment and then at his quoting fingers..."I still doubt that you are loner...loners don't walk up to strangers that are crazy and throwing pennies...not even Wizarding money, but pennies into a fountain in a formal setting..." she said with a little touch to his elbow with her left hand.
"Yes, it was my first job after graduating from Hogwarts. I worked there for almost two years and then decided that I needed to settle into one place...traveling around the world isn't the greatest way to meet new peeps..." she said as she watched the other employees coming to work...everyone seemed so hurried and frantic...she wished they would slow down and look around at all the beautimous things in the lobby..."I have to admit that I'm glad to be a part of Level One and even more so since I can put an official name with the face of the Secretary in charge...that means I can bug you officially now..." she said with a little giggle...and then she remembered he had mentioned traveling..."So how bout you...you mentioned that you traveled...was it job related or just for fun...?'
She glanced around her as she realized that she had mentioned the old Minister in public...wasn't that a faux pa....or something like that...she shook her head left and right slightly, "Yes, I got to work with him as Department Head, but I'm excited to get to work with the new Minister." yes that was diplomatic...right...

He didn't seem boring at all? Well, if she said so, all he could do was believe her, eh? He only hoped she didn't just say that to be nice. Hehe. "Are you?" Konrad smirked teasingly. "Spontaneous and fun, that is?" Something told him that she really was like that, but he'd just play along, only for the sake of... having fun?
"Who said anything about you being crazy?" Off topic, he knew. "But seriously though, I've always been the bookworm type." Ever since before going to Hogwarts, which was SUCH a long time ago. He was so old. "As for me, talking to a not-anymore-stranger.. I guess that just came out." He grinned at that, because he wouldn't let her win this one. Nope.
Konrad listened to what she kept telling him, quite interested. She surely liked to experiment different types of jobs, unlike him. He was content with what he had to do. She caught his attention, though, when she said that she could now bug him... officially. "Why would you do that?" The man asked, putting on his best hurt look on his face.
And... oh? "Nothing job related. I didn't even work back then." He left it like that, because he didn't really want to go THERE, with his parents making sure he and his brother needed absolutely nothing. "I just wanted to see places, until I eventually felt like it was time for me to try and settle down," even though that didn't go very well. And look at his brother. Married and with a daughter... well, Konrad couldn't say he was lucky in that department. Not yet, at least.
SPOILER!!: Don't look here...ignore the peer pressure...haha...

She gave him a mischievous grin and with a sarcastic tone in her voice she said, "Who me? Nope I'm just a weirdo that wishes in fountains..." she laughed at herself and hoped he thought it was funny..."I try to be both when I can be..." she said with a nudge of right shoulder, "Maybe if you stick around I might rub off on you..." she said sweetly...not so much flirting but just leaving an invitation for them to hang out in the future.
Iridesca smiled at his comment of her being crazy...I guess she had and then she focused on his next comment...she didn't see the connection of being a bookworm and being boring...she knew there was that stereotype out there but she had never understood it..."We did just meet but I like books and I don't seem to be boring...that's just an old rumor that someone started way back when because they were jealous of someone who could read or something..." she said raising both eyebrows.....Yes she always made faces, but it made her conversations interesting. "And I guess I feel flattered that I was your first not-anymore-stranger..." she finished copying his quoting gestures from earlier.
As she pulled her blue hair up into a quick back up do to get it out of her face, she smiled at the man, "Well, I guess if you don't want me to bug you then I can steer clear of your area...I'll just make funny faces as I walk by..." she said with a little laugh playfully followed by her sticking out her tongue at him and crossing her eyes.
She shook her head up and down slightly as he talked...yes she understood completely. "O yes, the traveling was a fun adventure and I made lots of memories but I needed a place where I could always come home and sleep in my own bed, plus my two pets didn't really like the traveling around." actually they despised it and still would act sick when they went to Texas to visit family.

Weirdo that wishes in fountains? "That's not weird," he said stubbornly, grinning. And... what was that? Why did she nudge him? Heh, he only hoped history won't repeat itself, and they'd start the tickle war, as she did with Rose once. Pfff, he wouldn't want that, and he was sure she wouldn't want that either. But if she'd keep it like that... who knew what could happen? He was THAT evil. "Don't worry, I'm not leaving anywhere any time soon." He knew why... although he sometimes actually considered moving back to Denmark... but he also had a very good reason to stay now, so he wasn't leaving anywhere.
"Books are not boring... but I am," he chuckled. It only amused him more as he listened to what she had to say about that old rumour. It was probably true, but that still didn't make him... not boring. Hehe.
She'll just make funny faces as she walked by? Oh, that would mean lots of faces... since he worked at the front desks. Everyone walked around that place. "That would be distracti-" He stopped as he saw the face she made, his eyes widening. "Please... don't do that when I work." Because he was THIS close to bursting into uncontrollable laughter. He wasn't sure if laughing was alright, though. He wouldn't want her to think he was making fun of her.
A place where you could always come home... he agreed with that with a slight nod and a smile on his face. "What pets do you have?" This, on the other hand, was a subject that he liked a lot. He wasn't sure how much Klaus would be fond of traveling, since he'd got the little guy right after moving in London. Maybe he'll find out one day.

She smiled at his comment about her not being weird...well he had just met her so she figured his feelings about her being weird would change if they hung out more. "Well, I'm glad to hear you're not going anywhere anytime soon...I'd hate to think I ran you off this quick..." she said jokingly with a little giggle as she glanced at her blue watch...o yes there was still time to chat for a little longer before they...yes they...since they both worked on the same level had to head up for work.
"Well, if you are allowed to say I'm not weird then I'm allowed to say you aren't boring and only time will tell if we are both right or wrong..." Iridesca thought this was perfect logic...that way they could both be stubborn about one thing and right...or almost right about the other. "And there's only one way to find out who's right and who's wrong...yes that means you have to hang out with me again sometime in the future...that is if you can work it into your busy schedule..." she said excitedly trying to be as friendly as she could be...she didn't want to turn on the flirting until she could feel this one out a little more...
She giggled at his reaction and then made a new face...this time she stuck out her tongue to the right side of her mouth and winked with her left eye...it was hard for her to hold it for too long before she started giggling..."How bout that one...o now that I know your weakness is funny faces then you are in trouble buddy..." she said poking the side of his stomach playfully as if she was threatening him.
And then he mentioned her pets, she perked up..."Well, I have a chinchilla, a pygmy puff, and a cat. " she said reaching into her purse and pulling out a blue wallet that sparkled. She flipped the wallet open and flipped through the pictures until she found one of the three animals sitting on a blue blanket in her apartment. "Here they are..." she said with a smile....was it weird she had a picture of them...surely not it wasn't like it was the only picture in her wallet. She also had a picture of her parents and of her niece, Satine. And she also had a picture of her standing at the top of a huge beautiful bridge in the states.

Ran him off? "No," he shook his head with a smile, although he could have looked a bit happier, "you didn't." And even if she did, he surely learned his lesson about leaving. Nope, he didn't want history to repeat itself. However, he caught a glimpse of her glancing at her watch, and wondered if they still had time. Well, if she hadn't said a word about it, he figured they had plenty of time left. He knew how early he was, after all.
Listening to her next words, Konrad couldn't help but raise his eyebrows in surprise. She had a point, you know? "I... I suppose you are right about that." Heh, he knew the golden rule. Women were always right... and Iridesca really was. And... that meant that she wanted them to hang out some other time? "I won't complain about that." As for his schedule... "I'm not that busy," he chuckled. Well, of course he could find some time to meet her again. Any new friends were always welcome... although he seemed to have a bigger number of women friends, rather than men. o____O
Oh, dear... not another one. If it was possible, his eyes widened even more. He was glad, though, that she couldn't hold it longer because of her giggles. "You are evil, you know that?" And she POKED him! Ahh, now it was his turn to be evil. "Do you know what happens when you do that?" He asked with a smirk plastered on his face, as he was talking about her, poking him in what was supposed to be a soft spot. Nah, he wasn't ticklish, but women usually were.
A chinchilla, a pygmy puff, and a cat... that was sweet... and sort of what he was expecting to hear, which made him wonder if having a cat was... feminine? Probably not. They were only... fluffy, just like the pets she was showing him in the photo, which made him smile. The man couldn't help but chuckle lightly though, as she took out a blue wallet... "You really like blue, don't you?" Well, if her hair wasn't anything to go by...

Iridesca cocked her head to the side a little bit trying to read his expression...was she boring him...had she offended him or been too friendly..."Well...I'm glad I haven't yet...give me a few more minutes and I might..." she said jokingly but timidly trying to put a real smile on his face again.
With a mischievisou look she said quickly, "Me? Oooo...well, I'm always right!" which wasn't completely true but she was ornery and stubborn. Her eyebrows perked up as he mentioned hanging out more, "Good to hear..I mean I guess I can make room for you in my non existent busy schedule..." she said with a wink and then looked down at her feet swinging in front of her still.
"I'm not evil or mean, but I am playful...it's a much better trait and allows you to be mean but with good intentions..." she said putting her hands on her hips and then they slowly went back down beside her body on the edge of the fountain, "Do I know what happens when I do what....this?" she said mocking him and then pocking him again playfully.
She smiled at him as he looked at her picture. She pointed to each one...the chinchilla, then the pygmy puff, and then the cat and said their names as she went, "Twinkles, Magic, and Blackie..." she said proudly.
With the mention of her liking blue she smiled and glanced at all of her blue...yes it was probably a bit much but she had always tried to make sure she matched from head to toe. "Yes, I think it's a glorious color...I like it and purple...do you have a favorite color?" yes it was a lame question but there was a reason for her lamo question.

She... might? "Aaaah, so you want me to leave, then?" He smirked at her, sort of trying to play along. It wasn't one of his specialties, this sneaky game, but he enjoyed it all the same. Eh, couldn't old people *ahem* adults like him at least try and act younger and carefree? Not that anyone would stop him.
She was always right? Exactly his thought. "Women are always right, hmmm?" Konrad was sure that women would approve of his golden but unwritten rule. He knew what was good for him, which is why he kept repeating that to himself, even though the smirk on his face probably told Iridesca otherwise. "Oh, thank you," he chuckled in response to her next statement. Hmmm... non existent busy schedule... her kindness had no limits. Hehe.
He shook his head. "Yes, you are mean. You'd really torture me with those faces when I work." And... did she rememeber that they worked so close to the minister?! Eeeep, it would be awful for him to burst into laughter with him nearby. Or worse, the minister might actually see her faces. And... and... she poked him again! This meant WAR! Sneaking a hand closer to her waist, he started tickling her, but still careful so she wouldn't fall into the fountain. He would't want that, would he? "This happens," he said with an evil grin, "but much worse. You're lucky you're so close to the fountain." Lots of accidents could happen.
The man couldn't help but chuckle as she told him her pets' names. Well, they were typical for... a woman. "You have Blackie... and I have a white cat." Whose name was not Whitey or something.
Grinning at her response about blue, Konrad thought of any colour that might be his favourite. "Well," he pointed to himself, "dark colours, as you can see." His jeans were always black, or a shade close to it, and his shirts different dark colours. He was wearing a navy blue one that day. Heh, he knew how much someone disapproved of all the dark colours he wore.

Iridesca's head shot up when he said she wanted him to leave..."O no, that's not what I meant...give me a few minutes and I might make you want to run away...probably screaming..." she said trying to back track and explain herself...she def didn't want him to leave...no no no..not at all...
She shook her head up and down slightly..."Well most of the time...that's why I don't make bets about stuff because I know I'm always right anyways so why bet on it..." she said with a little giggle.
She smiled at him her blue eyes shining..."I think I may have to torture you on a daily basis but I'll be sneaky about and get you when you least expect it and when no one's ar...." her words led off when he tickled her...yes she was ticklish a little bit so she squirmed a little bit before giggling from his tickling. She squished up her eyes in a sweet threatening look and said, "O I'm the lucky one??? Let's put it this way if I'm going into the fountain I'm grabbing you and taking you with me..." she said finishing with a smile and then she thought this through...actually that would be pretty embarrassing...but funny in some ways...would they get in trouble...but whom with..."And if that happened we might really meet the fountain police...or atleast find out if they exist..." she figured they were like the Muggle GI Joes they were there but all secretive like...but she didn't want to share that thought with her new friend..he might look at her like she was cray cray crazy...
She kept herself from asking the obvious question if his cat was named Whitey because she figured it wasn't, "Just a cat...whats its name?" she said intrigued. She had really pegged him for a bird or big dog person not a cat...maybe it was a ferocious bit white cat like a tiger...haha...
Iridesca cocked her head to the side when he mentioned his favorite color...ooooo black...well that was going to be easy to do...why couldn't he have said like neon yellow or orange or something...but black...well she could do black..."Dark colors...black..." she said echoing his words with a mischievous smile. As she said this, her hair started turning to a deep black starting at the roots and slowly oozing down to the tips once it had reached the end she grabbed the ends to make sure it was all the way down and then she looked into his eyes and her see through blue eyes filled with black colors. "I really like Blue and I usually stick with blue, but I can pretty much match anything that I want to..." she said proudly awaiting his reaction...this was actually a pretty good way to judge someone and their feelings and beliefs...some people ran...some people were rude...some people were in awe...and some people didn't care one way or another, but there was only one way to find out...

Make him want to run away... screaming? "I don't scream," he said with a serious look on his face, wondering what she wanted to say by that. Unless she happened to be a boggart... but he knew he wouldn't scream then either, even though it was awful, the last time he'd seen one. But anyway... "Are you that scary?" Pffft, why would she think he was such a coward? Not that he wasn't.
Hmmm, bets? "I never bet," he huffed a little before chuckling. "Every time I have to choose out of two things, I always pick the one I'm not supposed to." True fact. "No exceptions." Well, it was either bad luck, either... really bad luck. At least he figured it out in time, so he knew better than to start betting. Not a good idea.
Konrad laughed probably louder than he expected when she started squirming around, and he was glad that she didn't fall into the fountain, which was the only thing he feared. And... oh? She would grab him into the fountain as well, should she fall? "Now you're finally getting scary." The smirk on his face, on the other hand, probably told her the exact opposite thing. Even if they fell, there were plenty of charms to dry themselves, so he didn't worry about this. Maybe Iridesca would hate ruining her hair or something. See? He was lucky at that part. As for the fountain police... "That would certainly be fun to see."
Its name. Heh, Konrad ignored that, since he never called his pets it. Well, she couldn't have known either way. "Klaus," he grinned. And no, he didn't realize they had the same initials when he actually thought of that name. "I don't have pictures to show you, though." But the little guy would probably love her as well. Klaus loved everyone.
Going by the look on her face... he was sort of starting to worry whether he should or should not have answered that question... but what harm could she do if she knew that he liked dark colours?
... he soon got an answer to that, as he watched with eyes so wide that they were on the point of popping out while her hair and eyes slowly turned into black. "Oh, my -" He was really lost for words. "You... you're a -" Whoa. He only hoped he could keep his mouth from opening into a big O.

She smiled at him with a little wink instead of answering his question...better to be mysterious and keep him guessing if she was truly scary or not...he never knew maybe she wasn't as nice as she looked...now she knew the truth that she was a sweetheart but she figured leaving a bluff on him would hurt.
"I'm really not a big betting type of person either...never actually understood it and since I'm always right there's no need to push it with betting..." she said with a little giggle....
Iridesca gave him a straight face...she still had a little smirk on it, but she wasn't smiling full teeth now. "I'm still not scary..." she batted her eyelashes and put on her best innocent face, "I mean look at this face it's nothing but sweetness..." she said as she grabbed around his waist and tugged a little bit like she was going to pull him into the fountain...she didn't pull hard enough but the threat was still there.
"Klaus...that is an awesome name...very creative..." she said matter of factly...well it was she loved when owners named their animals something like that. She wasn't that creative with names...obviously since she named her black cat...Blackie..."Girl or boy? Nice or Mean?" she asked knowing that cats were either one or the other in the nice or mean category.
She wasn't sure how to read his reaction...shock...yes...but she couldn't completely detect disgust...i mean he didn't run away screaming or rolling his eyes like she had seen before...she finished his sentence excitedly...she loved showing her talent with others..."Meta...yes...it runs in the family....my niece and I have the same gift." she thought picturing Satine's beautiful purple hair. "But we can just turn our eyes and hair...nothing else..."

Heh. She wasn't going to answer that question, was she? Leaving him all curious was more amusing, wasn't it? Well, he somehow knew that there was nothing scary about her... except for the fact that she just changed the colour of her eyes and hair... but that was still not scary. More like... unique. Nope, nothing scary about her. Not yet, at least.
Konrad only smiled when she mentioned again that she was always right. Yes, yes, women needed to think they were always right, and then everyone around them could live peacefully. No, he wasn't going to protest that.
And then... did she want to push him into the water? Ahhh, and she also wanted to use a woman's charms, with all that eyelash batting and the innocent look on her face, to distract him, obviously. He only smirked, though. "What are you trying to do?" He wasn't even going to pretend being weak, because... well, he might not be careful enough and actually fall and hurt his almost inexistent ego.
Awesome name? Glad to hear that, he smiled at that. But... why would she ask him if Klaus was a girl or a boy, since... Klaus was... well, NOT a girl name. Or... was it? "Boy," he chuckled. "And I'd say that he might be a bit too nice." Especially with strangers. Hehe. "Maybe you'll meet him one day. I'm sure he'd like you." He likes everyone, in fact. "How about your pets? How are they?"
It ran in the family... and her niece had the same gift. Niiiice. "It's still... impressive," even though they could change only their hair and eyes. "Just think about it, you'll never regret trying a new hairstyle." Which was pretty cool. He'd surely be afraid to try something completely different.

She giggled a little bit at him, "Well if you're going to tickle me then I'm going to push you into the fountain...it only seems fair..." she said batting those eyelashes again as she pulled on his elbow again and pulling towards the fountain...not hard enough to push him in...and then she let go, but what if she accidentally did....that would be funny but embarrassing and probably not the greatest first impression.
"My Blackie is a sweet heart too...he's almost soo sweet that he's annoying..." she said with a little giggle and rubbing the side of her arm where he had scratched her this morning...not really scratched her but kneaded her arm a little hard...meet his cat...well..."O I'd love to meet Klaus someday...I just love animals and I'm a great cat sitter if you ever need to...I wouldn't charge you...too much..." she said with a wink.
Iridesca was impressed by his reaction to her little trick...well atleast he didn't go running away. She smiled as his comment....she had never tried to change her hairstyle just the color...she might have to do that sometime. "It's more just the color of everything that I can change...but it makes things fun. It came in handy when I worked for the MLE...I could go undercover quickly...now in the Ministry's office it just makes it easy to get dressed up for events and always match..." she said with a giggle as she made her eyes and hair go back to the blue they were before.

Hmmm, she was going to push him into the fountain? As much as he didn't want to, Konrad couldn't help not smirking. "I'd really like to see you try," he grinned at her, since he obviously wasn't going to let her win this one, only because he didn't want to get soaked, even though there were charms to dry himself. Nope, not going to let her win, not even with those weak attempts. She couldn't be stronger than him, could she?
A cat sitter? "I usually take him with me when I leave, although I cannot say that that's the case." Well, the only time he actually left for a long time was when he went to Denmark when his mother was sick, and then hell broke loose when he returned. Heh, he wasn't going anywhere after that. He'd learned his lesson. "But I'll keep in mind that you'll do it for free," he mischievously grinned, knowing that she never said that. He just wanted to tease.
Go undercover... yes, that surely was useful. "You change your hair to match the clothes you wear?" He chuckled as he saw her change her eyes and hair back to blue. Or, you know, maybe blue was all she wore, so she didn't need to change the colour of her hair all the time. Hehe.
She cocked her left eyebrow at his challenge and thought about it for a few seconds, "O I could..." she said shaking her head up and down, "but I won't today because that would be an awful way to start off our friendship, plus it might embarrass you and all, and...you know...I don't want to get you in trouble..." she said teasingly and with a little sarcasm in her voice.
She couldn't imagine traveling with Blackie...her pygmy puff was simple to travel with but not her cat...o goodness...she could just see everything shredded to little pieces, "Hmmmmm....free....that sounds pretty steep of a price for keeping your little one...how bout free and some ice cream...I love ice cream..."
"Yes, I can...and sometimes when I get embarrassed or angry my hair and eyes give it away and get little red tinges to them...makes it hard to hide both of those..." she said with a shrug of her shoulders. "But, I usually stick with blue....sometimes I do purple if my niece is around so we match..." she said making a mental note to finalize plans with Satine for the summer.

Hmmm... didn't want to get him in trouble... "Mmmmhmm," was all he hummed with that probably annoying smirk on his face. Yes, yes, she didn't want to start their friendship by pushing him into the fountain, Konrad was sure of that. He knew she wouldn't do it, and even if she wanted to try, she wouldn't be able to. Nope, as much as he usually tried to let women win for his own good, he wouldn't let Iridesca win at this. Hehe.
Some ice cream? "I can handle that," he grinned. "I can't say I love ice cream as well, though." He didn't really like it, actually. Only if he wanted dessert and couldn't find anything else.
His smile, however, faded when she mentioned getting a bit of red in her hair and eyes when she got angry. That sounded... scary, but at least he knew now when he was getting on her nerves. Heh. "You'd have to be all black to match me," Konrad said as the grin was back on his lips. Whaaat? Who could blame him for wearing dark colours?
Lazar sat down on the edge of the fountain. He hoped that he would see the prettiest gal in the world Victoria. He wondered if they were just friends or if they were dating... he didnt wanna ask because if he asked if they were dating and she said no then that would be embarassing and if he asked if they were just friends she might be upset if they were dating... but if he didnt ask and just assume one or another then he might end up doing or saying something stupid like kissing her if they are just friends or asking her what she thought of another girl if they were dating. Lazar sighed, thinking about how decisions like this is so hard.

With all the people around, Victoria wondered if she would find Lazar. After looking around the fountain she finally found him, sitting at the edge. With it being her lunch break, she was wondering if she would see Lazar around place. What were they? Friends or dating? She didn't know. Victoria didn't want to be a pushy girl or rush into things, so she never asked him if they were dating. She wondered if how he would feel if she asked if they were just friends. Either way, if he was fine with what they were, she was. Even if they weren't dating, she would still love to be friends.
After finding Lazar at the fountain, she smiled and walked up to him. "Hey," she called out to him, bend over and kissed his cheek then sat down next to him.

Lazar came out of his thoughts when he felt someone kiss his cheek. He smiled as he saw that it was who he was just hoping to see thinking about. He returned the kiss on the cheek, "Hey, pretty lady." He made a dozen pink roses appear since pink means admiration since he didnt want to do red which meant dating or yellow which meant friends so he went in the middle and did pink. "These are for you, Victoria." He chuckled and smiled. He was always giving her roses.
When she had gotten up earlier that morning Natasha just knew instinctively that the day ahead of her would be looooooooong one. The first thing to go wrong was that the delivery owl that usually came with the morning prophet gave her an old copy instead of the new news.
Overcoming the irritation the blond dressed and headed for the ministry. Coming into the crowded Atrium she took one look at the lines in front of the lifts and backed away. It would take a while before she'd even make it to the front of the line since it seemed like half the employees of the ministry had arrived for a new work day at the same time.
Strolling over to the fountain she stood and just admired the statues while the queue behind her hopefully lessened into only a few people.

Seeing as they'd gotten split up into the two teams earlier, Dorian hadn't frequented the Atrium much the past week or so. In fact, he'd hardly set foot into the Ministry at all, but they needed to finish up the de Talone case. Those who had stayed to investigate the zombies could hold the fort, but he'd decided to stop by that day to check in. And it seemed he'd chosen the wrong time to choose to bypass the direct Apparition point in Level Two, as the ground floor was buzzing. Checking in would have to wait. At least he could amuse himself by watching people, though. Maybe he'd catch someone else acting strange, that he could report to the zombie team once he got to his department, or maybe he'd just find something to distract himself.
It seemed the latter was likely, as he'd caught sight of a familiar blonde head over by the fountain. Apparently he wasn't the only one choosing not to queue up for who knew how long. There was still time to turn and take a Floo or Apparate, but instead, he made his way over to her. Hmm, they fixed the fountain up well, he thought, momentarily turning to gaze into the water before turning his attention back to Natasha. "Expecting them to do anything?," he asked, sticking his hands into his jeans pockets as his grey eyes went to the statues. Unless someone cast a spell, odds were they wouldn't be jumping off their pedestal any time soon.

Tasha didn’t usually bypass the Atrium in the mornings to take the lifts down to level 3 since the small room easily got cramped with so many ministry employees arriving at the same time. Her preferred choice of transportation was apparition but not on this day. Without a newspaper Tasha had went by the prophet headquarters in Diagon alley and bought an edition to read later. Clapping her left robe pocket she hummed contentedly feeling that she hadn’t lost her paper.
Staring at the fountain she didn’t hear Dorian come up beside her before he spoke. Suppressing the instinctive urge to flinch she remained where she stood rooted on the spot. Glancing sideways at the blond MLE man she shrugged. "Hi, maybe, think they are sinister like the fountain cherub's in Diagon Alley?"

Already knowing it wasn't necessary, Dorian's observational skills still refused to turn off. Maybe it was just the start of boredom, having to wait, or maybe it was just some odd feeling that something was going to happen. He wasn't sure which, but with the investigation of what was causing the zombie epidemic still open, there was every possibility something could happen when there were this many people in the Atrium at once. They weren't quarantining quite yet, to his knowledge. It wasn't part of his current case, anyhow, since he'd preferred staying at work on the de Talone case, but that didn't change his concerns about the cause. In fact, that was likely his reasons for coming in, although there was also reports to deal with. He wasn't going to leave all the work back at the office to Aron and Elinor, after all.
As such, he'd both noticed Natasha's humming and then her subsequent startled reaction as he'd spoken, even if she'd suppressed it. There had still been signs, but he chose to let her think she'd hidden it. He'd raised an eyebrow in amusement at the sideways look, however. As if she was checking to make sure it was him, almost. His reflection in the water of the fountain should have told heras much, considering she still was more focused on the fountain than himself, and then there was her question. That was an interesting response to his own, and he let his gaze travel up to the wizard's face as he contemplated his answer. "I can't say I've seen them act the same. It's curious you see the cherubs in Diagon Alley as sinister, though," he said, half-contemplatingly. That wasn't a sinister piece of magic, that he remembered. Just a common trick, and not one that had been attached to this fountain to his knowledge.
