WHOA. WHOAWHOAWHOA! What was Dacs' issue right now?! Hearing the way she spoke to Damien's employee had him more than a little peeved. Stepping up beside Legend he put his hand on the boy's shoulder. "Legend can indeed come with me. Please mind the way you speak to my YATI, Dacs. Now. Get your other team member and I will see you later," he said in a Papa Bear tone. Yeah... No. No one got to talk to his kiddies like that but HIM.
Narrowing her eyes at Damien, she bit on her bottom lip until she tasted blood. She had respect for the man but he could hard to deal with sometimes."Then reign him in Jackson. I'll see you later." she said, in a calm cold tone. Why were men so pigheaded and rude? She always butted heads with the men she worked with always got her white hot mad. She trained her hazel eyes on Damien before she heard Chosen apologizing.

Legend wasn't going to say anything else, because getting into a fight with his co-workers didn't seem like a good idea. Especially now when they were suppose to be working together. But it seemed like Damien thought there would be a fight...or something...because the man rested his hand on his shoulder. Weird. They were not close at all.
AND he just called him by his first name.
Legend smirked. "Alright, let's go to the lower levels then." Then could leave now right? Evander was done talking wasn't he?
"No apology needed." she said, sharply.'No apology wanted.' she thought.

Dacs turned to those who had stepped up to go after Ren and said,"So, Sakura is a nasty one. He's an excellent Legilimens. He's ruthless and will hurt you. Damien here, I knows what I'm talking about. I'm just telling you now, we have to take him down hard. The only other thing I can imagine is him coming quietly but only for his agenda.", her tone serious and her face like stone. "He will have other around him and probably want to stay close to his brother. Just be prepared for anything. Don't hesitate to attack if you're attacked. You hesitate, you get hurt or worse, killed."
She looked to Damien to see if he had anything to add. Dacs was sure Evander would be dispatching them pretty soon.

We can work our way back up and meet somewhere in the middle? And Patronuses... yes. Mine is a Golden Eagle. But to add to what Dacs here just said, Sakura and his "brother" are pieces of work. Really nasty. Suspected of being the ones behind the violence and disappearances. So do be careful. They will certainly hex to harm. I think... I can handle the lower levels alone if you would like to take the rest of the team with you, Dacs. And better yet, we can all head out to the picket line together and then fan out from there. Best to see if we can spot anyone or anything out of the ordinary there, as well. But remember OUR objective is to take Sakura. Please do be mindful if there are others around. The last thing we want to happen is for some innocent bystander to be injured because we were a little too gungho about apprehending this man."

Did Damien just say he was going off alone? "I'll go with you Damien." Legend said interrupting their little private convo. "Sapphira can go with Dacs. Makes sense right? I mean splitting up in teams of two." Then calling the others when something big went down of course.

Sapphira turned her head to each of the people who are going for Sakura as if she's watching a tennis match. At last, they're doing something. The other team will be going for the lower levels, while hers will be 'covering ground'. She had no idea what that meant, but as long as she stick to Dacs and do whatever she ordered her to do, she reckons that she won't go the wrong way. Both Figuratively and Literally.
"So," she said, trying to break the ice, "I'm going with you, huh?? The question was mainly directed to Dacs. "Where should we go first??" hinting that she didn't know what to do except to capture Sakura and bring him to the MLE people.

He'd sent a brief smile towards the other woman as she joined them, though. The more people on the team, the easier the search would be.
As Wes took over, he shifted his weight slightly. They needed to mobilize, but clarification would help them work together. "Sounds good," he said as the idea to split up the floors was introduced, then he nodded again at the Patronus detail. That was a given, and he assumed they all knew how. If not, there had been an example as Gabe sent the message about Recard escaping. Hopefully the rodent wouldn't get far, and he amused himself with the idea of transfiguring the Transportation head into a guinea pig. It wouldn't be the first department head transfiguration, but it would definitely be appropriate. But D'Isigny first.
"Just in case, my Patronus is a lion," he established. Odds were, if their luck held, knowledge of everyone's patronuses would come in useful. There would likely be chaos, so a verbal message might not be able to be long enough to identify voices. "Perhaps Aubrie should stick to the Atrium while we're searching the building, though. Or join either myself and Dean or you two. Just for safety's sake." Clear one area, then move on to the next. Unless they gained another team member, so the pairs could extend to Diagon right now. If D'Isigny was truly on the run, it wouldn't be easy to detain him. Especially if Gevrik was involved as well, and the likelihood was that was the case. Preventing MLE injuries or worse was important as well, after all.

After that, he tried to recall all the informations he gathered about the Cult through his photographic memory. The file was secure in his desk, guarded by all sort of protection charms, hexes and even some fatal curses.
Hunting the head of the Cult won't be an easy work, but the outcome did worth it. Once the Cult were down, Alexander Greingoth will take over the Ministry. Although Dean wasn't sure who he was. If that was what Bole said, then Greingoth should be a trustworthy man. And he might peek over into the holding cell too, to see what the Lard will do.

They'd get it covered quicker, and hopefully not get hurt in the process. With Wesley, Isobel was sure that was not going to happen, but that might be an advantage...maybe.
Oh. Patronuses to communicate. "Mines a lion too..." She mused with a grin in Dorian's direction. That was quite funny actually, but hopefully people would be able to tell the difference between the two patronuses. And Dorian did have another good idea. About them clearing one area before moving to the other. The last thing they needed was someone getting hurt. Isobel nodded in agreement with the man. Hopefully nobody would get hurt.
"Nice to meet you, Aubrie," Wes smiled to the newcomer, then, introductions aside, got down to business with the others. "Sure," he agreed with Dorian, "Aubrie, you're more than welcome to join one of us so that you don't have to search alone."
He'd hate it for her to come upon D'Isigny alone. That... would be bad for any MLEr, really. So... peregrine falcon, two lions, and a fox. Got it. Wes nodded at his team mates and then cracked his knuckles, flicking his wand into his hand.
"Well let's get to it, team. Shall we all start on Level One?"

REIGN HIM IN? Really. Says the woman that is snapping at people for no apparent reason. She had to be kidding?! Damien's eye twitched. REALLY. It twitched at the suppressed urge to lash out at her for being... such a GIRL. It was not like Dacs to act like a GIRL, but here she was. Clenching his jaw he leveled a look at her and said, "Mind the way you speak to me as well. This is neither the time nor the place to have petty disagreements for whatever reason it is that you felt the need to lash out. We WILL talk later." Period.
Turning to CHOSEN he shook his head and smiled. "I think perhaps we should wait on Evander to give us the go ahead, kid. Just a moment and we will head out," he said in a genuinely amused tone. WHEN DID HE START HAVING A SOFT SPOT FOR THIS ONE, TOO?!

"Oh," she said, "okay..." To kill the time, she tried cramming everything Team 2 should do in her head.
One, capture Sakura/Ikenna and their team. Or mainly called supporters.
Two, wait, there's no 'two', she thought, but still it isn't that easy.

A YATI would be on her team. She would look after him but not babysit. She did however have a weird feeling about this one. Fresh meat rarely go for the big boys, she'd have to watch him.
She holstered her second wand after inspecting it. Her mind was sharpening even more as the seconds went by. She was examining all possibilities and formulating as well.
Turning to Emily she said,"Don't second guess, that'll get you hurt or killed." Her words were sharp and harsh but necessary. It was not the time to be gentle but to be direct and concise."Watch your back, not everyone is really your friend."
Emily turned her hazel eyes to Dacs as the woman gave her a pep talk. Seriously though... was the necessary? Yes she was young, and occasionally hot headed, but she wasn't stupid.
In the end she just nodded. The last thing she wanted right now was to be eaten alive. No... she wanted to kick some cultist butt instead.

After all everyone knew that Borr was only a puppet.
Besides the fat lump didn't seem that dangerous. And if he was Skander knew enough to be able to help, he was also stronger than he looked, which could be to his advantage in this situation. The best thing though was that they could use whatever means they had too, to subdue their targets.
Emily eyed the man people called Skander. She didn't know him, but had seen him around... he seemed ok. But that didn't mean anything.
She nodded her head by way of greeting, "Name's Emily," she said again offering her hand to shake.
While she didn't trust people easily, she was at least courteous. Besides, knowing names was sort of essential to working as a team, having to yell 'YOU THERE!' in a dire situation had the potential to be bad.

Right so formalities over. Who was in charge?
She sized up her team mates, sure they were older and probably more experienced, but SHE had the fire to burn. Plus she was probably the closest thing to an auror in their group anyway. Seeing as her training was almost ALMOST done. Best to get things moving anyway.
"Right, best bet would be that Borr's rolling around his office or is stuck in the lift on level one." So that's where they would start. Right? RIGHT!
Well.. what were they waiting for? dancing lessons? DANCE PEOPLE DANCE!
She wanted so badly to just GO now! ... but she turned to Bossman to see if he had any last words. Plus there was no way in hell she was going to walk in front of her group. She didn't know these two from a bar of soap. No. When the time came, THEY would lead the way, under her ambitious command.

Listening to everyone else making plans made Roxi realize that it might be a good idea for her team to have one too, even though their mission was probably the most straight forward. Even if Borr tried to run, seriously, how far could he get and how fast? Not very far and not very fast was her guess. She was just about to suggest they start in lard butt's office, when Emily voiced exactly what Roxi herself had been thinking. Well, that was taken care of. "Right," she said. Really, nothing else needed to be said. And, with that, she waited for any further instructions from the boss.

Skander nodded back at the woman before taking the hand she'd offered him. He'd already known her name, having seen her around before but he wouldn't say he knew her well. Actually he didn't know either of his teammates and he didn't trust them either. He'd act like he did for sure, after all if you act suspicious of someone, who may in fact not be on your side, you were just asking for them to hex you.
So Skander would listen to Emily for now, at least until they'd captured Borr and hope that she didn't expect them to trust her to walk behind them. Because if she did Skander wouldn't be agreeable. If acting suspicious could get you killed so could having your back to a person. That part unfortunately came from a previous encounter. And that person had been someone Skander had trusted.
But they still had to wait to see if Van was going to say anything final, and so he simply nodded in agreement to her plan and then turned back to the Bossman like the other two had.

She was not in the mood to joke or be sarcastic. The trained auror and black ops agent came out raw and ready."Let's clean house. We've been waiting a long time for this, for justice. I'm just glad that I do some damage and you won't doc my pay." she said to her boss and she took out her second wand from her right boot.
"I haven't docked your pay yet, Dacs." Van commented gruffly. She could do as much damage as she wanted right now... except he also trusted she could keep her head on straight for at least a while and if he hadn't docked her pay in the past... well she could rest easy today.

The one that had walked through Hogwarts with such an air of control it had turned his gut inside and out.
But he knew all the impulses were dangerous. All the options were dangerous. And while he didn't really care what danger he was in, if it meant protecting those that he loved and what was right, he had learned that rushing in headlong would only endanger himself and those he was with.
It took a lot of self restraint and willpower, but he kept quiet. His mind needed to think without the heat of an irrational impulse, and he knew he had to wait to see where support was needed. He wasn't an Auror, he was a YATI, and though he trusted his skills he was not a top dog. Not yet. Not for a long time.
So he would do what he could to best serve the MLE. And that was to take a breather and just...breathe. And of course cast Emily a look that said 'be careful'.
Van looked at Sabel and nodded, gesturing with a barest flick of his fingers. Wait just a moment. He indicated to a spot near his side.

Oh, and there was Izzy. And Emily.
For a moment, she hesitated. Was this something to do with the cult? It wouldn't surprise her if it did. If this was the reason behind such a gathering...Esme wanted to know what was going on.
Her eyes narrowed briefly in determination before she slipped her way through the crowd and towards Evander. "Sir." She began. "If you don't mind the intrusion...what exactly is going on here and what can I do to help?"
"Esme... your unique talents could be best put to use on level 9. If you can manage it, and only if you can get there and its safe and Sakura isn't around, do what you can to secure any evidence that might be in his office. Likewise with Recard's office."

"I'm sorry, boss," he started, shaking his head. "Some bloody man and his gumballs provided enough distraction for Recard to apparate out. I don't know where he's gone. The only words I caught from the patronus he got were...the Ghost." Which Gabe was sure was the nickname of the man who used to do his job. Gevrik.
"Don't apologise." Evander said and then... he cursed. Loudly. Profusely.
Gevrik. He should have known.

Both factors, along with the tense energy of the atrium, brought a good deal of nervousness to weigh down the flighty sense of wanting to bolt in every-which direction and made headway after every man involved in the Cult. But now with Recard on the loose, and with his whereabouts unknown, as a very out of breath Gabriel reported, there seemed to be yet another avenue that needed addressing.
Sabel took a small step to the side so as not to get in the Auror's way, his eyebrows quirking up at the mention of misfired gumballs. Seemed a rather unfortunate but coincidental circumstance for the Transportation Head. More concerning than the escapee however, was the tone in which Gabriel mentioned 'the Ghost'.
His eyes flicked to Evander, hesitating on rushing off with any which group. He could always join the tail of any of the three that needed another man when they departed, but for the moment it seemed best to wait and see what Evander said. See if he could be of any sort of use.
"Sabel, with me, we're going for Gevrik." He told the boy quietly, just loudly enough to be heard by Sabel and Sabel only, though chances were that Gabe, Damien, Wes, Izzy, Dacs and Dorian, being that they all knew him well now, would guess his intentions.

Wes pinched the bridge of his nose as he turned to Dean and shook his head.
"That has to be Gevrik..... it's not the others' nickname, as far as I know...." And it suited the shady Security-obsessed man, as far as Wes knew anyway.
"Mine." Van said quietly.

Turning back to her group, she gave Roxi and Skander a nod. "Level One it is, keep quiet, keep low, wands at the ready." Because surely charging in there like a dragon with a splinter wasn't going to help. No the key was to get to level one undetected, and then corner their prey... which in this case wouldn't be difficult seeing as he would probably take up most of the room. Giving Roxi and Skander a fleeting smile, which still looked rather dangerous... sort of like a an evil genius toddler with a box of matches and a pot of floo powder, she then nodded in the direction of their destination before turning and making her way along.
As Evander started talking, Isobel took her attention from Wes to the boss, listening to him. Don't act the hero. Got it. The blonde nodded at Evander, before turning back to fact the others, just as she saw that Dean at popped off. Awesome. She was glad that the guy was ready to go. You know? It was pretty helpful. But now they needed to go help him. Apparating would be best, just like Dean had. She didn't want him to take too long. Iz stepped closer for Wesley, giving him a look. "You heard Evander...don't play the hero." Like she knew he would if anyone tried to hurt her. She grinned at him, before grabbing his hand and apparating them both. See...she could apparate them too.

Gabriel nodded when Van told him not to apologise. He appreciated it, but really, he was at fault for allowing it to happen in the first place. And the swearing more or less confirmed his hunch about the identity of the Ghost. Van was never happy to hear anything about that man.
Which also made him think. And he assumed that what the man had said to Sabel was what he was thinking.
"Boss, if you're going after Gevrik, which I'm assuming you will, I'm joining you both. Chances are Recard is with him, and I want to be able to see the look on his face when we catch them."
And lock them in a cell, leaving them to rot. Or not. Whatever.
Damien returned the nod to Van and took his hat off. Shrinking it he then shoved it into his pocket. He needed to have a talk with Chosen before they went. Motioning with his head he began to step to the side a bit.
"I won't give you a lecture, nor will I speak to you like you're a child today, but I will say this; I know your training isn't complete yet, but that is no reason for worry. You hex to harm... or worse, Chosen. You hear me. And if you need help you ask for it," he said with the faintest of smiles.
Pulling both wands from their holsters he inspected them for a brief moment and then smiled at Legend. "Alright let's go." To Mysteries.
Dacs took a deep breath and turned to Sapphira. "Ok. Just be careful, eyes open, ears on the ground and don't hesitate to let me know if you're in any difficulty." she said to the woman quietly. She could be hot headed but she would do whatever it took to protect another.
"Ok, let's move out. We'll start at the picket line and work our way from there." she said."Trust me, it's gonna be a day you'll never forget."before she sat out away from the group toward the picket line. It was risky but you had to start some where.
Dacs reached up with her wand and changed her hair. It stood out too much. She changed it to short cropped black hair. She rolled up her sleeves of her black shirt exposing her wand holster which was empty. Deciding against exposing her second, she kept it in the other holster until needed."Alright Sakura, I'm coming for you." she whispered to herself.

Sabel froze in his shifting and internal deliberation as he caught Evander's fingers motioning for him to a small space to his side. Hesitant and not too sure what was going on, he listened to what the Department Head was saying as he stepped to his side.
And then there was that whisper. That quiet command on what their task was. Gevrik.
The name made something twist internally with both loathing and fear. In two years, he had heard little about the Security Detail that had invaded Hogwarts and now, they were going after him. One thing was for certain; the man was dangerous and it wasn't going to be easy.
Sabel had no idea why Evander had decided it was best that he tag along for the mission, he was still a YATI and hardly near his full training or ability. Perhaps it was the small bit of history he shared with Gevrik, but in his mind it might only cause problems. Like the anger that was still lingering within, that he knew would cloud rational thought if he let it get out of hand. But orders were orders, whether he understood them or not, and he gave Evander a solid nod of his head. "Yes, Sir."
Fear or not, anger or not, he would do his best.
Of course, that wasn't to say he wasn't relieved when Gabe spoke up about joining them. They definitely needed more than one and a half Aurors, especially if Recard was going to be with Gevrik.
His eyes flicked to the other man, managing a weak smile before his attention was caught by those leaving. Emily and Legend and Damien and the others. He wanted to go after them, just to see that they would be okay, but he could only trust now. Trust and hope they would all make it through intact.
Letting out a slow, unsteady breath that he hoped would calm his nerves, he returned his attention to Evander.

Everyone seemed so... pumped. Elinor wasn't. Not really. She figured she had been out of the crime game too long to feel that rush anymore. So she was able to listen calmly to instructions being given, waiting for something to do. Hers was a seldom-recognized position. There were days when she literally had nothing to do. She wasn't expecting today to be any different.
And then she heard the word 'Evidence'.
Her heart was immediately in her throat. Elinor wasn't the type of woman to get involved in politics. She didn't listen much when people were talking about Borr or other departments, and she only listened up on the subject of the Cult when necessary. She didn't know much, but she knew evidence when she saw it.
There was most defanitely a crowd, but Elinor was standing close enough to see which other woman would be out looking for clues, as it were. As the groups began to split up, she spoke up. "Miss Bass, I'll help you," she said, glancing briefly to Mister Bole to make sure that was all fine. "If you'll permit me."
Waiting a few moments longer, just in case, Elinor took a few steps toward Esme before flat-out joining her. After Sakura's office, hopefully she could get her hands on Borr's office...
It was going to be an interesting day, for sure.

Level 9...Department of Mysteries..With a firm nod, Esme spoke. "No problem at all."
Her eyes had narrowed briefly at the mention of Recard's name. Oh, he had been such a charmer at first, but she knew about the real person behind the facade that he had initially put up. And she was none too happy about it. She was definitely going to get into his office and be very, very thorough in her search.

Esme glanced over to her right as someone addressed her. The woman appeared familiar, and when she spoke of helping her, she realized that this was one of her fellow employees in evidence retrieval. "Two pairs of eyes are always better than one." She replied with a slight smile.
With a gesture of her head, she headed off, after Evander had dismissed them. This was going to be...a day that none of them would forget.

Merlin that Emily had a creepy smile. It was like a deranged toddler psychotic maniac smile all rolled into one, and Skander was really, really grateful that they were going after Borr and that she wouldn't be harming him.
And that she had started walking first, and therefore wouldn't be standing behind him with her wand out. He was exceptionally grateful for that fact. In fact neither of the girls would be standing behind him as he was the last to begin walking in the direction of their target.
At least they all agreed on a rough outline of how things were to go before they began moving, it gave them all something to go off of. Skander just hoped that it could be followed and that they wouldn't run into too much difficult on their way to the fat lard.

Caedwyn had agonized over the decision for a long while, but ultimately, she couldn't ask her coworkers to fight a battle she wasn't willing to join herself. It was one of the reasons she had her brother take her child into his home in France for the next little while... so Cade could focus on doing the right thing for the greater good and not just for her family.
Plus she couldn't let little sweet faced Emily and Dakest run into danger as new Aurors without throwing in her support. It helped her decide who to help once she reached the lobby, and Cade followed the group in Emily's trail. "Are we really sending the youngest off as cannon fodder?"

She was about to apparate to level one when she heard a voice coming from behind her, and spun on her heel. Don't want to poke an excitable YATI in the backside now do you? Never know where you'd end up.
Emily lowered her wand, it was only Cade... that lady that helped her out on her first day. Gosh that was so long ago now. "Cannon fodder?" Emily clearly took offence to that. Sure she wsn't fully trained up, and yes she had her weaknesses, but she also had a massive ego and the liking for blowing things up. Not to mention, with two wands and an almost complete training program, she was the closest thing her group had to an auror. Which wasn't all that bad, was it? Borr wouldn't be THAT much of a challenge, even with his giant stick of doom. "If you're here to help... welcome, if not, then I've got other things to do," she said nonchalantly.

Oh, they WERE going to follow the apprentice into the fray. Well, if this was what she broke her teeth on, then Cade was going to be sure that Emily had plenty of opportunity to do so. Even if she made the girl feel as if she didn't completely trust her abilities in the process... it was out of concern for their safety, not because she didn't think the young woman was capable.
"Alright. With everyone rushing around, we need to take this one quiet. I suggest we head up to the Security Office and see what we can see from there." Van decided. With a view of the Atrium and several other methods of watching over the ministry as a whole, it would be their best bet.
Van fixed his eyes on Sabel.
"How about we assess you on a few things in the line of duty, hmm? Stealth and Tracking time. How's your Disillusionment skills these days?" Van would Disillusion him himself if he had to. But he had confidence in the boy Sabel and was banking on him being useful because of his own personal history with Gevrik. Hopefully it'd distract the Ghost slightly too.
"Lets go."
Van headed quickly to the Security Office, expecting Sabel and Gabe to be right on his heels.
Given whatever Evander was saying in hushed tones seemed to be about Gevrik and the whole 'quiet plan' in general, Sabel didn't hold any qualms to listening in to what he told Gabe. Security Office. Bird's eye view. Didn't muggle shows with battles always talk about the advantage of having the high ground? Apparently it was just as true in real life as it was in TV.
Except that the nervousness, the fear that was portrayed in the shows did not do justice to how it actually felt. While Sabel was fairly confident in his abilities, especially the most basic of holding onto his wand, at that moment when they were preparing to depart, he felt like he was going to fall apart. Nerves had him gripping his wand so tight he thought he might break it, and he found himself reciting line upon line of spells, charms, hexes and all manner of casts that could assist him should a fight break out.
He was only part way through when Evander's words startled him into a slight jump. His eyes snapped to the Department Head, blinking at him. Stealth and tracking evaluations? Because he needed the stress of an 'exam' on top of everything else. Maybe it was Evander's way of trying to desensitize him to the situation? Perhaps the man figured that if everything seemed like a training exercise or practical exam, the stress of possibly being mangled or dying would decrease. It wasn't helping.
Nevertheless, he considered it. He would do well on tracking; he had spent enough time out in the woods following the trails of animals. And while the Ministry wasn't the woods and Ikenna wasn't an animal, not in the traditional terms anyways, some of the principles were the same. The Stealth bit, well, as long as he didn't re-sprout two left feet, he should be fairly ... alright.
"My...disillusionment..." He blinked a little, searching through the mental list he had made before nodding. "It's .... fair." Probably not the most self-confident response, but he wasn't about to grow an ego that would twist his legs into a dangerous situation. Then again, with the way Evander started off towards the Security Office, perhaps it was more of an indicating question that hinted at what he would be asking of him than an actual question. Or the man wanted him to cast it right now and hide himself. One way or another, he was sure the Department Head would lay out orders flat and clear when they were to be given.
For now he hopped into a fast pace behind Evander, senses high on end. And he could only try desperately not to think of Ikenna, or how the others would fair or if they would be okay. He forced his thoughts to Arya as they left the fountain, and for the brief time that they had of silence he found some peace in those memories they had formed together.
